Planning music was a breeze, especially for a bride who had no idea what she needed or wanted. Drew went above and beyond by creating custom song mixes the week of our wedding for our first dance, father–daughter dance, and mother–son dance—and they were exactly what we envisioned.
Throughout the night, so many of our guests came up to us to compliment how incredible the DJ was. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you’re looking for a DJ who truly cares, listens, and delivers an unforgettable celebration, DJ Dr. Drew is the one! Highly, highly recommend!

If I got married 1,000 times, I would want DJ Dr. Drew to be there. He is personable, professional, and amazing at what he does. On the day of my wedding, he was prompt, well-dressed, and made me and my new husband feel like we were the most important people in the world, which is pretty important on your wedding day. As soon as he was contracted, he created a spreadsheet for us and I was able to put in songs that we wanted to hear for the different portions of our wedding, such as the ceremony, processional, dinner, reception, etc. and actually PLAYED them, as well as played similar songs. He has a great personality, which makes him great as an emcee. I also coordinated with him to surprise my new husband with a song that I sang to him, wherein he got an instrumental version for me to utilize. Again, let's support local small businesses, and help Drew become that one DJ you will say, "Hey!! He did my wedding! I know him!" when he gets famous.

I have been knowing Dj Drew since 2017 when my uncle hired him for his wedding and ever since then I try to always refer him to everyone I know that needs a dj. Highly recommend DJ Dr Drew! He was great at communicating right from the start and all the way through the wedding day. Had an easy spreadsheet to fill out to make sure you have all the songs listed to play when and he answered all of our questions throughout our experience with him. Day of, he was very professional and so easy to work with when our time table needed adjusted. He was a great MC during cocktail hour and dinner and an even better DJ for the reception. He played the songs we requested but also read the room and keep people dancing the whole time! He had such a great selection of songs ready for us and even the kids! He really was a highlight of our amazing day!

From the initial planning meetings, to the follow through on our day, he ensured there was seamless communication and our vision for the day was heard. He was more than willing to make edits to songs to fit with our first dances, he made sure we had a private moment to eat during the reception, and kept all the guests on the dance floor the whole night with his smooth music flow and transitions! My husband and I absolutely loved DJ Dr Drew and he was one of our best vendors of the night! We originally found his information on our venue's instagram page and booked him through Wedding Wire. He was quick to respond to our inquiry and the booking process was smooth! He sends you a detailed itinerary template for you to utilize so he can make sure he is on top of it through the day and plays the music you like- if you don't have anything in mind, he has a great way of reading your crowd to know what will get your guests up and dancing! If you are looking for a DJ where you don't have to worry the day of and knows what he is doing- this is your guy! It doesn't hurt that he is also very affordable! Book him now!

Drew was incredible! He came in after another DJ flaked in just 2 short weeks prior and curated a playlist we absolutely loved. He made sure to play all the requested songs and kept the energy high. He even handled our special entrance, first dance combos perfectly. Highly recommend!!

He has a great personality and was very professional. We appreciated his services. There were just a couple of times when he could’ve better engaged the crowd with music or transitioned with music during the night to avoid awkward silence. Other than that he was wonderful and I’d use him again!

DJ Drew Made our Wedding Experience AMAZING!
We had postponed our wedding last year due to COVID and Drew was so attentive and flexible! He was so organized with the layout of the day and valued our expectations! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He literally was the drive of our night from the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and exit. You can tell that he just genuinely cares about his bride and groom by all that he does on that day and leading up to the day! I remember jumping up and down when he opened the dance floor and saying to one of my bridesmaids, "This is exactly what I envisioned for our first dance to open the floor!" Dance Party Genius!
DJ Dr Drew was amazing! He was always quick to respond to my emails. He had a super organized excel spreadsheet to get my song information which he sent me about two months before the wedding. This was so helpful! As far as the music and the vibe: it was great!! He played all of the ceremony songs at the right time and place. For the reception, I didn’t give many specifics, just types of music we liked. He nailed it and we had a blast dancing all night! I highly recommend DJ Dr Drew!

Best night if my life!
When I say I was having the time of my life I mean it! From the very beginning of my planning to the final days, drew had made it the easiest process. He handled everything I needed and made it so stress free for me! As far as the wedding day, this bride had the best night living it up with her friends and family. Super personable, professional, and just simply awesome
I was first introduced to Drew through a mutual friend who had him as their DJ for their wedding. One thing I noticed right away as communicating with him was that he is super personable and genuine. He truly wants to provide the best experience for his clients and not only did he do an amazing job on the day of but also through the entire process of wedding planning. I had to change my songs several times and even ask him for a list of songs, but he was so patient, understanding and flexible. Not only is he a great DJ, but an awesome person. Great Experience and Very Smooth Process
We had a great time with DJ Dr. Drew! Given normal wedding circumstances, it is already a very stressful and crazy time planning and organizing all vendors. Under pandemic circumstances we were even more stressed and anxious about getting everything right. DJ Dr. Drew made our lives so much easier by handling his services with minimal "hand holding". We simply gave him a list of songs and a playlist of the style of songs we like and he handled everything from there. This took a lot of work off our shoulders so we can focus on other tasks. The service itself went smoothly with minimal issues. He met us at our venue beforehand to get familiar with the sound system and was at the event early on the wedding day to setup everything and prepare accordingly. Would highly recommend him for any event that requires DJ services! Thank you Drew!

DJ Dr. Drew. I mean what more can we say that every review here hasn’t covered already?? Drew was an absolutely stand up professional, great guy, and killer DJ. We had multiple guests tell us how great of a job he did, even before the reception was over. He was always on-time, well-organized, and receptive of our preferences for music selection. He even cut us a special track for a surprise salsa dance we had planned!
As a pretty picky music person, I’m sure I could have frustrated plenty of other DJs with my list of must-plays and do-not-plays. But not Drew. He made sure that our special day was full of the songs we wanted to hear (and not full of the ones we didn’t 😊) from all sorts of genres – EDM to R&B to Reggaeton. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any of our Dallas friends and family looking for someone who truly cares about his craft. You can tell he’s the kind of genuine guy who does this because he loves seeing a group of people cutting loose and dancing their hearts out to the good vibes he’s putting into the atmosphere. For that, we are forever grateful for his help to make our wedding a picture-perfect success.

A DJ that brings the Party to the Dance Floor

Exceeded My Expectations
First off, let me say Drew was amazing! I had read his reviews and although they were all 5 stars I was still skeptical. Having never seen him actually dj had me very nervous lol the dj can make or break a wedding reception!! He exceeded my expectations! Not only did he play all the songs we requested, he played ones that we loved just as much! He was very easy to get in contact with, very professional, and just a joy to work with! Our day was perfect and he had a lot to do with it! Book Drew, I promise you won’t regret it!

Drew is best dj ever!
Wow!!! What a night! Drew was the DJ at my daughter’s wedding and he was absolutely the BEST EVER!!! He ran the entire reception and he made the flow of events seamless! He kept the party going on the dance floor the entire night and
None of the guest wanted to leave! We only spoke on the phone before the wedding but he was able to create a magical atmosphere for the bride and groom, as if he had known them forever! My only request was “sweet Caroline” & it did NOT disappoint!!! Made me incredibly happy! Before the wedding, Drew was so accessible and easy to talk to and I loved that he worked for himself and I didn’t have to go through a separate company!
I would use Drew for any event I have in the future and recommend him to everyone considering a DJ!

DJ Dr. Drew went above and beyond all of our requests for our wedding reception! He was very responsive and professional in every aspect. Most DJs are overpriced and not worth the money since they just play preset playlists. This is not the case with DJ Dr. Drew, all of his songs are played manually at the reception which helps him go with the mood of the crowd. He played all of the songs we had requested beforehand and he was very flexible at the reception when we requested songs off the cuff. We had such a great time with him and will recommend him to all of our friends! Thank you so much Drew for a fantastic evening!!

DJ Dr. Drew came to party! The music for the whole night was flawless. He got all of our guests on the dance floor and it couldn't have been better. He honestly helped coordinate the whole reception for us. We used his timeline as a template for ours. If you want an affordable, hassle-free, responsive, and awesome DJ then look nowhere else.

My wife and I used DJ Drew this past weekend for our wedding reception and he was absolutely amazing! He was super attentive during the weeks leading up to our wedding and he really made our vision for our reception come to fruition. He is the epitome of a professional and he worked smoothly with our planner and other vendors. He did an exceptional job of keeping everyone dancing by mixing different genres of music for people of all ages. Drew is a great DJ, but most importantly he is a great guy that I would recommend to anybody in search of a DJ.

DJ Drew was absolutely phenomenal as both a ceremony/reception DJ and an emcee! Drew was very organized and professional. We had no idea on how to plan or outline a reception as far as DJing/emceeing goes, but he did everything for us! He was very entertaining and kept the fun going throughout the night. He also picked great music without us having to give much of a playlist other than our guests request. We would highly recommend! You can't go wrong with this guy.

Despite being Drew’s first Korean wedding, he did an exceptional job with everything we requested! Very accomodating to our needs in all aspects. Drew was very polite, professional, and fun at the same time! He was punctual to all of our meetings and emails. Could not have asked for a better DJ to host our wedding. Thank you so much!

I began my DJ searching about 2 months before my wedding. We were hoping to find an affordable band but didn't find one for less than $6,000. I thumbtacked, wedding wired, and knotted for a while until I narrowed it down. Drew was very responsive and full of information. I was picky about the music that needed to be played since a lot of my family is hispanic and his wedding playlist was great! He made sure to play all my favorite meringue hits, 90's hits, and top 40. I had a small intimate ceremony with literally one song down the aisle. He was able to make it fit and our ceremony was beautiful. If you're looking a responsible guy who will give you special touches for under $1000 for the day this is your guy. They always say that you have to out your money where your mouth is. You get what you pay for and within my budget I had the greatest DJ! One of the reasons I hired drew was because he won the wedding wire DJ of choice award like 4 times in a row or something ridiculous like that. Great hire!

Drew was awesome!! Very accommodating and flexible. We had quite a few hiccups but he was able to go with the punches and handle everything perfectly. Drew brought my Great Gatsby theme to life and was even able to incorporate our Caribbean heritage. I would definitely recommend him as your DJ!

DJ Dr. Drew was the best! He was recommended to me by a co-worker/friend who had gotten married some months before I started planning my own. I had never hired a DJ before so I had to go off of this recommendation--well come to find out, he's kind of a big deal! From the very beginning, he was such a delight to work with. We were pretty late to our initial meeting, which I felt terrible about (and still do) but he was VERY patient and understanding. He kept in touch via e-mail, and was very responsive to my questions. My wedding coordinator was VERY impressed with him, as were all my guests who thought he was superb! Drew's attention to detail, and his ability to fix things on the fly (we walked out too soon...) made our special day, extra-special! We're both pretty shy, so we didn't want to be announced (I don't think I had mentioned that to him before) but he was sure to ask at the reception beforehand! He also reminded our guests to use our photo booth, and in general just kept the party going! At the last minute, I asked him if he could ask the guests to join in during our "first dance" (again, shy) and without hesitation, about 30 seconds in, he asked our guests to join us, and they sure did!
10/10 would recommend and hire again. :)

I am so glad that I chose Drew to DJ our wedding. Off the bat, you can tell he that he is friendly, professional, and made sure he could help in any way he could. His prices are extremely reasonable as well. Super organized and responds quickly to answer any questions or fix any changes to the itinerary. I received many, many compliments on the music and that he was the best wedding DJ they've heard all year. I couldn't agree more. He enjoys what he does and makes sure the bride and groom are happy. Drew was an absolute professional throughout the process. I had an extensive list of songs to play and he played them while seamlessly including his own . He was also very responsive every time we communicated. We had a pretty diverse crowd for our wedding in terms of both age and race. But from the time the dancefloor was open to the time it closed, it was always packed with pretty much everyone (no exaggeration). The people on the sides were always just getting some air before going back in. We also had some Afrobeats in the playlist and even when they were being played, everyone danced. It was also on the hotter side that night but that was not a deterrent for people dancing. He did such a good job that by the end of the night, the crowd was chanting for an encore, which he obliged. Do not hesitate to hire him, regardless of how unique your music requests are.

He got everyone out on the dance floor! Young and old alike! Even my husband, who i had never seen dance in our 4 years together, was out there on that dance floor with everyone.
He was great when it came to requests and was excellent at knowing when to speed it up or slow it down.
He also did the ceremony music and timed everything just right.
