We cannot thank Donny and his team enough for making our wedding the celebration of a lifetime! From the moment the music started until the very last song, they knew exactly how to keep the energy high and had guests of all ages out dancing all day.
We chose the DJ, live bongos with a full percussion setup, violin, and Photo Booth, and every single one exceeded our expectations. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how amazing the entertainment was!
Donny was so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and made everything feel effortless on the wedding day. His entire staff was professional, talented, and truly passionate about what they do.
Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we are so grateful they were a part of it. If you’re looking for a team that will create an unforgettable party, this is the one. We would recommend them a thousand times over! -

I recently used DJ Don Q this weekend for my 50th birthday celebration. He was highly recommended through a couple of friends . We have only spoken on the phone we have never met. He was always responsive when I reached out and communicated with me whenever I reached out to him. I never met him until the night of the party. He was there when he said he would be everything was set up and ready to go. I did give him a small playlist, but I also wanted him to use his talent and get the crowd going. Don Q went above and beyond to do so. His music brought me back to my childhood, and had the whole dance floor up all night. He also had circles around me making everyone join in. When it came time to cut the cake he had everyone standing in front of me, so I can look around and feel and see all the love. He made me remember all night why everyone was there and that was to celebrate me.. I was a queen for the evening. Everyone stayed til the very end. He even played a little longer because we were still dancing. I will forever be grateful for him. I want to have another party just to use him again. Thank you again Don Q 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The absolute best!
There are not enough words to express our gratitude for Don Q. He flew from NY to Texas for my daughters quinceañera. He had the crowd on the dance floor all night long through dinner and all. It was an amazing party. I didn’t have to worry about anything at all. He knew the perfect timing for each presentation and everyone was entertained. We can’t thank him enough and our night couldn’t have gone any better! -

Don and his entire team were amazing to work with! Our DJ Oscar was phenomenal. We added on the Zap photographer and just saw all the pictures and they were amazing!! We also added the percussionist on who was a huge hit. This company was beyond perfect for our wedding day! -

I had a surprise party for my husband and hired Donny as the DJ. I can't write enough positive statements about the entire experience from beginning to the day of the party. Donny responded to all my questions, had everything I was thinking of adding (photo booth, video/screen, fun hand out glow sticks/sunglasses/etc). His business is run well and professional in every way. I received invoices and detailed emails/reminders for everything ordered. Then, the best part was the day of the party! He played all of my requests, got people who never dance, dancing, and was such positive energy for a 40+ crowd! I highly recommend him for any party. Several guests already texted me asking for his info for their kids bar/bat mitzvahs and sweet 16. Amazing DJ and won't be sorry! -

We hired DJ Don Q as well as our emcee Mikey and a percussionist for our wedding. These guys exceeded expectations. Guests have been excessively complimenting us on the music still weeks after the wedding. DJ Don Q was so easy to work with leading up to the event as well. He was very responsive, polite and most important - delivered on every detail that we asked of him. If you want your event dancing then definitely get in touch with DJ Don Q. -

Dj donq is amazing!
WOW! DJ DonQ and his MC Izzy really know how to get the party started. From the start of the reception down to the last song they kept our guests dancing! Izzy was tearing up the dance floor with us all night! I can’t thank you both enough for making our wedding reception so POPPIN!!!! They were so attentive and respectful to all my requests and music selection. 11.20.2021 is a night we will remember for the rest of our lives! All night we received compliments on DJ DonQ and Izzy’s energy and music mix. You guys are absolutely THE BEST!! -

DJ Don Q went above and beyond what we expected!
We hired DJ Don Q for our daughters Quiceañera on October 2, 2021. They made it a point to put us at ease with whole process and knew exactly what we were looking just from having a conversation with them. We felt absolutely confident that we made the right decision to go with them. On the day of the event, its when they went above and beyond what we already knew would by great. DJ Ray, who was MC and DJ of the event, was on point and anticipated certain things we would need that we were not prepared for and took care of it seamlessly. The guest ranted and raved about the music and the journey that DJ Ray took them through that night.
DJ Don Q and his crew have a customer for life and would recommend them for any occasion. Look them up online as they offer tons of different packages. Thank you for a helping us create a great memory!!! -

Don came highly recommended by our wedding venue (Miller Place Inn). My husband reached out to him and he was always so quick to respond via text or email regarding any of the questions or concerns we had. He’s such a kind, personable guy and that made us feel at ease! Our wedding had to be rescheduled 3 times but Don was always so flexible and worked with us during this crazy time. He made us excited to finally get to party!!! When the wedding came closer we met with him and discussed our music choices. My husband grew up on Kompa and I’m more of a pop/hip hop girl so we knew our music that night would be pretty diverse. But Don was confident that he could satisfy both our requests. Hands down, the music that night was one of the best parts of the entire day. We had so much fun and I teared up more than once hearing our favorite songs!!! Our friends and family had a great time letting loose and the MC Ray was so great. We continue to talk about the songs we danced to and our friends send us videos of everyone tearing up the dance floor. Our guests still say what an amazing wedding it was and how great the music was. No one got off the dance floor! We had a wide range of people at our wedding ranging from kids to older adults and everyone was having so much fun. It was such a blast and something we had been dying to do for over 2 years. We can’t recommend Don enough and hope to hire him again for parties in the future! -

Donny & the MC MADE MY WEDDING EVEN MORE AMAZING! I told them exactly what I wanted and they did it! Not only did they play the best music ever, they made it so special! I honestly want to just hire them both again for any future party whether it’s in my backyard with a few friends LOL everyone loved it all.

DJ Don Q did our wedding on August 3, 2019 at the Miller Place Inn and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. He was so helpful during the booking process and truly encompassed our music taste at our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone getting married in the area. You will not be disappointed! -

I hired don q for my daughters sweet 16 8/8/19. I cannot begin to express how pleased we were with his service . Not only is he talented but he has an amazing personality . He’s a down to earth really nice guy who will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your night.
My guests asked me all night who was the dj. His charismatic personality and voice make me decide to have him as controlling the music and the mc.
The dance floor was filled entire night.
It’s been days later and my guests are still talking about dj don Q.
He is one of a kind with an amazing down to earth personality.

Don just did my wedding on 4/20/2019 and for the past two days I haven’t stopped getting compliments. There wasn’t one song I or my guests didn’t like! The older and younger crowd were on the dance floor all night. I’m pretty sure they had to be reminded a couple times to sit down and eat because no one wanted to stop dancing. I also did the photo booth with Don, best decision of my life. I’m a crazy OCD control freak and I was able to let loose and not worry about the music which made my night. I can’t be more thankful for everything he and his team did. You guys are the absolute best ever!!! -

Where do I even start...
Donny and his team were the BOMB! They played everything I ever grew up with. Hip Hop, R&B, Freestyle, House, Salsa you name it. No one left the dance floor including MYSELF. From the music, to the photo booth, and the MC nothing was a disappointment. Thank you Donny for making my wedding day one not only I would remember but my family will! Trust I will keep him in mind for future events to come! -
Krissia Sent on 09/20/2018Had my wedding a week ago at the fox hollow with Dj Don Q. I am still getting phone calls about how much funmy wedding was and it was all thanks to the music. He played good songs after good songs which kept the dance floor hype and crowded all night. Everyone from every age group got to dance the night away. The videographer even decided to use our party video as advertising because of how good it was. My biggest fear before the wedding was that people would not enjoy it but everyone had an awesome including myself. I enjoyed every moment and never had to tell him to change the music. Highly recommend him, it was a pleasure working with him

Mindy Sent on 12/11/2017Our DJ was included as part of our wedding package (which is why the low cost), but DJ Don Q was one of the best decisions we made. We did choose to hire a MC for the evening and am so glad we did. DJ Ray and MC Tony kept the party going all night. The contract included "that the MC would not be annoying". My Husband and I were like, "who determines that?" But they were never annoying. The music fit the mood of the party and kept everyone dancing, including my husband's grandmother who is in a wheel chair they had her out there dancing with the rest of us. The worksheet Donnie had us fill out really led to an evening of enjoyable music for all. My father still raves about how great the DJ was. -

I was so excited to hire Don Q! I felt very confident and comfortable during the entire planning process, he was very genuine and accommodating. Don is perfect because he is a pleasure to work with and super talented. He exceeded our expectations by playing all of our requests and keeping the party going. Guests are still raving about the fantastic time they had. At our wedding, the dance floor was NEVER empty!
