  100% recommend!

  Darla DJ’d our wedding and she exceeded any and all expectations. We thought we would have a hard time getting and keeping people on the dance floor but Darla did an amazing job and everyone danced all night. She also MC’d very clearly and everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing throughout the night which we have seen be an issue in other people’s weddings that we have attended

  Exceptional DJ & Song Master Extraordinaire!

  Finding a good DJ is the hardest wedding planning task out there -- I mean, how do you really know if a DJ is good without actually attending one of their events? In Darla's case, I can say that the immaculate reviews were spot on.
  
  We are so grateful to Darla for making our wedding a dance floor triumph! From “Britney to Whitney” (to use one of her expressions), she kept us all rocking to the very end!
  
  Throughout the night, we especially enjoyed watching which songs slayed with the crowd…belting out to “Mamma Mia!,” “It’s Raining Men,” and “Man, I Feel Like a Woman!” with 150 of our closest friends and family is an experience we will never forget. Darla was spot on with song choice and timing, and our guests (mostly Gen Xers and Millenials, with some Gen Z and Boomers mixed in) are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor.
  
  On top of it all, Darla Bea is a joy to work with! She was super responsive, incorporated our ideas & song wish list seamlessly, and was always down to swap hilarious stories of wedding faux pas.

  Our Perfect Wedding Soundtrack

  DJ Darla listened to what our vibe was and made sure that our wedding day was the perfect blend of our personalities. The music was perfect beginning to end and everyone mentioned that so many good songs were playing they couldn’t leave the dance floor! Music was the most important thing for us and Darla delivered!

  DJ Darla was Everything!!

  My wife & I picked our wedding date around DJ Darla's availability because that's how amazing she is. Our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her and our guests wouldn't have had nearly as much fun on the dance floor without her. She was incredibly easy (and fun!!) to work with and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, easy to work with, DJ with all around good vibes.

  I am so glad we hired DJ Darla Bea! I was so intrigued when I saw her listing because the industry is just riddled with male DJs. And after my first conversation with her, I totally was sold on the benefits you get with a female DJ.
  She has stellar reviews and wins the best DJ in Santa Barbra, for good reason!
  She's kind, supportive, easy to talk to, very communicative and very good at helping you set the soundtrack for this very important day.
  Everyone at the wedding loved her!
  She is very much in demand, so don't delay in booking her!

  Immaculate Vibes

  I can't recommend DJ Darla enough! We had a blast working with her and she just brought the perfect energy to our wedding weekend. It was a blast to talk music tastes and share playlists and really feel like we were on the same page. We hired her for all three days and have no regrets at all. For several events we gave her a ton of playlists to curate from and she did a masterful job tapping into the vibe we were looking for and making sure our must-plays were integrated perfectly. Darla gets bonus points for 1) helping me plan and pull-off a surprise drag performance during our wedding brunch and 2) stepping up when our wedding planner ghosted us a few weeks before the wedding and just being helpful and communicative to make sure everything went perfectly. Thank you DJ Darla Bea!!

  Couldn't imagine a better DJ

  Darla went above and beyond for our wedding! She did a great job handling my requests and guest requests. She also added songs that fit the vibe as needed. The dance floor was packed all night and we loved her glowsticks. Even some relatives who never dance at weddings were up on their feet. Darla even stayed for an extra 20 minute encore! Darla hit us with some local Santa Barbara trivia and was so fun to talk to throughout the night. Many of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they've been to in a while and we owe that to Darla for keeping the party going. Thanks for the amazing time Darla! Would highlyyy recommend!

  Absolute Bestest DJ!

  I can't say enough positive things about how awesome of a DJ Darla Bea is!
  
  She made our wedding reception! I think I will remember my aunt bopping along to the music in her wheelchair for the rest of my life.
  
  Everyone was talking about how good the music was. And the LED glow sticks DJ Darla provided were so, so fun!
  
  Everyone from toddlers to Septuagenarians enjoyed playing with the LED glow sticks and running through the tunnel of lights at the reception.
  
  DJ Darla Bea was flexible enough to work with us for over three years as our reception was postponed twice due to Covid and family circumstances.
  
  For a small fee last year, DJ Darla Bea created a Spotify playlist of the music to be played at our reception, and this has become the go-to playlist I listen to while at work.
  
  Darla Bea was also a great MC. We had quite a strict timeline due to constraints imposed by our venue and the county, so DJ Darla Bea did an excellent job making announcements and keeping tho ha on schedule. She even explained the hora to my side of the family raised Catholic.

  DJ Darla Bea is one of our favorite humans! She is so passionate about music and is the most knowledgable about an incredible variety! We had a Cuban/Grateful Dead beach wedding and she knew exactly how to blend everything together to make it flow smoothly and play to everyone's interests. She nailed the timing of all our favorite songs and kept multiple generations of guests on the dance floor throughout our entire night. She was easy to coordinate with and was quick to catch on to the type of vibe we wanted. She's simply the best- do yourself the favor and hire her!

  Best DJ Ever

  Darla was able to play both middle eastern music and western music at our wedding and put the dance floor to work. She's a pleasure to work with and I can't say enough positive things about her. Just go with her, you won't regret it.

  Darla Bea was absolutely one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding! She was so supportive throughout our rescheduling process, and even more fun to work with in the time leading up to our actual wedding. She was very responsive to all requests/questions we had, very helpful in connecting us with other vendors to make our vision come to life, and generally enjoyable to interact with. On the day of our wedding, she went above and beyond to ensure that we had the party of our dreams! I truly cannot recommend her enough

  DJ Darla Bea was a blast! The party aspect of our wedding was critical and she expertly included all the songs we wanted, plus some timeless favorites for the grandparents in the room. I danced so hard I ripped my dress - no better proof of an amazing time!

  DJ Darla Bea blew it out of the water!

  DJ Darla Bea absolutely killed it DJing my wedding, and it wouldn’t have been the same without her. First of all, she let us put together a curated playlist with as many directions as we wanted. This included my adding several hours worth of Persian and Kurdish songs for my Persian family to dance to. Despite not being familiar with those songs, Darla learned all about them and perfectly executed the best wedding any of our guests had been to in years. Of course, Darla, being the wonderful human being she is, would totally try to give me the credit for that success because of my song choices, but without her it would have just been a playlist. She took my raw materials and brought it all to life. She schemed with me (and with my mom) to create some truly memorable moments, she was flexible with on the fly adjustments, and she kept the volume at a perfect level so our guests could also talk. Most of all, Darla utilized her impeccable taste and judgment to give our wedding the absolute best soundtrack. She scripted all the changes and moments perfectly, and added the perfect amount of emceeing to make everything—the dancing, the entrances, the interstitial moments—go exactly how I had hoped it would. My wife and I are eternally grateful to Darla for helping our wedding be a once-in-a-lifetime party, and we cannot speak highly enough of the job she did. With any luck, we’ll get to work with Darla again soon. I know she is going to be my go to DJ for as long as she's doing this kind of thing, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone and everyone who needs an event DJ at any point. Darla is the best!

  DJ Darla Bea absolutely killed it DJing my wedding, and it wouldn’t have been the same without her. First of all, she let us put together a curated playlist with as many directions as we wanted. This included my adding several hours worth of Persian and Kurdish songs for my Persian family to dance to. Despite not being familiar with those songs, Darla learned all about them and perfectly executed the best wedding any of our guests had been to in years. Of course, Darla, being the wonderful human being she is, would totally try to give me the credit for that success because of my song choices, but without her it would have just been a playlist. She took my raw materials and brought it all to life. She schemed with me (and with my mom) to create some truly memorable moments, she was flexible with on the fly adjustments, and she kept the volume at a perfect level so our guests could also talk. Most of all, Darla utilized her impeccable taste and judgment to give our wedding the absolute best soundtrack. She scripted all the changes and moments perfectly, and added the perfect amount of emceeing to make everything—the dancing, the entrances, the interstitial moments—go exactly how I had hoped it would. My wife and I are eternally grateful to Darla for helping our wedding be a once-in-a-lifetime party, and we cannot speak highly enough of the job she did. With any luck, we’ll get to work with Darla again soon. I know she is going to be my go to DJ for as long as she's doing this kind of thing, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone and everyone who needs an event DJ at any point. Darla is the best!

  Best part of our wedding was Darla!

  Darla DJ'd our wedding in Santa Barbara. She was the best vendor out of all the vendors we hired. She was very easy to work with and had many great suggestions for our wedding day. Darla took the time to get to know us and was extremely personable. We had multiple phone conversations in order to make sure our day went smoothly. Out of all our vendors Darla actually cared for our day. I definitely recommend doing her signature glow stick tunnel. It was a last minute decision and one of our favorite parts of our wedding.
