  Professional that goes above and beyond

  Dan has DJ'd for our friends weddings and for work events that we've attended for years. When we got engaged the first decision we made, before we even picked a date, was that we were going to hire Dan. We're so happy we did. Professional is an understatement. He goes above and beyond. He kept our 150 person wedding on the dance floor all night, provided beautiful uplighting, and acquiesced all of our odd requests that we had. Our venue had a split set up meaning the speeches, ceremony, and dance floor were all in different spaces and he handled it with ease. He works hard from start to finish, he even refused to take a meal break. He was willing to add in some fun extras such as trivia for us and worked the crowd with ease. He is a great MC and kept the evening moving and on time. We feel so fortunate to have had him part of our day and I would recommend him to anyone.

  DJ Dan is the best!

  We first saw DJ Dan at a relative's wedding and knew we wanted him for ours too! He was so easy to communicate with, and kept the party going all night. He also provided uplighting for the reception, and ceremony music. He played all the songs we wanted and more. Just fantastic, book him if you need a DJ!

  DJ Dan was amazing! From the initial meeting to the wedding day, Dan was very professional, punctual and energetic. The music for our ceremony was perfectly done and kept people on the dance floor until the very end of the night. The lighting he provided matched everything perfectly and really completed the feel of the reception. Couldn't have been more thrilled with how well he did! We can't wait to use DJ Dan for our next party!

  Dan truly created the perfect ceremony/reception we could ever imagine! He set the entire tone of the night. We are beyond happy with our choice of DJ. He goes above and beyond with great music and suggestions.

  DJ Dan was incredible! My husband and I knew we wanted to have him perform at our wedding when we saw him DJ a good friend's wedding a few years prior. He is passionate about his work and has an incredible amount of energy that keeps the crowd engaged and having the best time! He was always so responsive and open to our suggestions. He was even kind enough to burn us copies of all of the music he played so we could have them forever- such a nice touch! The day of went flawlessly and our guests could not stop raving about the music. It was truly the best day of our life, and DJ Dan played a big part of it. We are so thankful and hope to see him again at another wedding soon!

  DJ Dan was so amazing! My guest would not stop telling me how fun they had on the dancefloor and how great the music was. Dan was very quick to respond every time we had a question and was a pleasure to work with. I also loved when we met with him to go over the music he was very organized in planning the introductions and music during different stages of the cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He asked for music I wanted to play throughout the night and music that we did not want played. All the music he added fell in perfect with the music we had provided and he knew how to keep the guests happy and on the dance floor. He also brought glow sticks and some lights to play later in the evening to make the atmosphere more fun and our guests loved it. Dan checked in with us right before the wedding party was introduced to ensure everything was correct and he was about to seamlessly handle last minute changes as one of the groomsmen went missing and had to be dropped from the introductions. He didn’t take a dinner break because he never leaves his station or puts the music on auto play. Lastly, he was a consummate professional with a great announcing voice and sense of timing. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better DJ and would highly recommend DJ Dan for any event!

  Dan is a fantastic DJ! He was so great to work with and made our entire night run smoothly! We met with him to discuss our ideas and song requests and he was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. He had tons of suggestions for different genres of music and he was more than willing to take any/all suggestions we gave him. He not only DJ’ed the reception but also organized the music and microphones for our ceremony – which went flawlessly.
  
  He kept in regular contact and was incredibly organized, it was one of the least stressful parts of our wedding! Dan also brought his own up-lighting which made the entire reception space glow. He is energetic, a wonderful MC, and all through the night he played songs requested by us and our guests. I can’t say enough great things about him, I would recommend him to everyone (and have already recommended him to a few friends)! Absolutely fantastic!!

  Dj Dan is a wonderful DJ and is very easy to work with. He met with my husband and I about 3 months before the wedding to do an initial meet-and-greet. At this point we went over our vision of the wedding and who was involved. Dan gave us so many pointers about different types of music to play at different points and how it helps keep the party up and dancing. HE WAS AMAZING! We even opted to use his new uplighting system that he has. It totally changed the vibe of the room and we are still getting compliments on it today. Dj Dan met with us once more before the wedding at the hall to confirm all the day off needs. On the actual wedding day he fulfilled every aspect of what he had promised and more! He is a great MC that really knows how to work the crowd. We loved Dj Dan and would highly recommend him to anyone.

  Love him! I first met DJ Dan when he DJ’ed a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in, and was impressed by his professionalism, kindness to all guests, and talent. He continued to awe my husband and I throughout the wedding planning process. He was incredibly energetic, organized, and had great attention to detail. We felt complete calmness about the music knowing that he was at the helm. He allowed us to have as much control over the music as we wanted; however, he completely understood our style and we felt comfortable giving him leeway to ad lib whenever needed. He also had a ton of quality equipment which he used to have three separate set-ups at our wedding and even mic our ceremony. And to top it all off, HE even sent US a thank you note after our wedding!! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, highly experienced, and incredibly personable DJ for an important event.

  I would highly recommend DJ Dan! The music was wonderful. Dan made the planning process easy. He had plenty of suggestions for different music, but was open to us creating our own list. Our first dance song was unique. Even though we took lessons, we could never get our timing quite right. We told Dan to fade the music out when Eric dipped me. We at least looked like we knew what we were doing. Dan also included some music from one of our favorite movies.
  
  Our guests really enjoyed the music. We still can't believe that the dance floor was packed before dinner! Eric and I had a blast dancing as well. I remember thinking that I will take a much needed break during the next song that I don’t love. That break never came. We are still receiving compliments on the music. Dan did a fabulous job.   I can't say enough good things about DJ Dan. He listened to us every step of the way to make sure that he was able to provide exactly what we wanted. We prepared a song list for him and also a DO NOT play list and he adhered to it perfectly. He was able to read the crowd and kept the party going all night long. Not only is Dan good at the DJ aspect but he is a gentleman as well. If you want to have fun at your wedding and want your guests to walk away thinking it was the best wedding reception they have ever been to then by all means give DJ Dan Maguire a call. You will thank me later.
