  Really Made Our Day

  We love our DJ!!!! She is highly responsive, punctual, and professional. We booked a package inclusive of a photo booth and it was well-appointed with props, backdrop, and real-time support from her assistant. We really enjoyed our reception as she listened to our wishes and read the crowd expertly while still adhering to the timeline and cuing up song for our entrance, first dance, and cake cutting. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to trust for the soundtrack and entertainment for our day!

  Dj Curley Sue kept our wedding lively and engaging with her DJ skills. The music was good, the vibes were good and the dance floor was busy. She announced our program professionally throughout the night. I would absolutely recommend.

  Amazing experience with DJ CurleySue!

  Our experience with DJ Curley Sue was fantastic! From the start, she was professional, responsive, and helpful. We had negative experiences searching for DJ’s and she really helped to reassure us we were in good hands. When it came to the wedding reception, she had the party started right away. Everyone was up on the dance floor and she kept us going for hours! She did a great job at reading the room, MC-ing, and keeping everyone partying. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a DJ in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area!

  DJ Curley Sue was a pleasure to work with from the beginning of our planning to the culmination of our event. She was easy to work with, professional and very detail oriented. We gave her the genres and a short playlist of music that would suit our guest, (Soca Calypso, reggae, salsa, R&B). DJ Curley Sue kept the guest dancing throughout the evening with a smooth seamless blend of music. We loved the DJ, where did you find her was asked frequently in the weeks after.

  Hire DJ Curley Sue!! She is willing to take suggestions/guidance on music but is so talented and creative on her own. She's professional and responsive to boot. We got many, many compliments about the music at our wedding--she kept the dancefloor going, which was really important to us. Could not recommend her highly enough.

  You know QUALITY when you see it

  There's a difference between a mediocre DJ and an EXCELLENT one, and it might not be clear until you're listening to an excellent one. We had friends who were at a wedding the day before ours and the husband turned to his wife and said, "I knew the DJ last night was lacking, but DJ CURLY SUE is just putting that man to shame." And they weren't the only people who told us how much they noticed how great she was. So glad we had her!!

  Curley Sue is phenomenal - she worked with us to identify all the songs for every moment of the wedding, even the ones you don't think of needing a song. She asked all the right questions when helping us plan the playlist, and was a great emcee for the night. I think that in a lot of cases, a good DJ is hard to define, but a bad DJ really sticks out. Rest assured, Curley Sue is the BEST!

  We are sooooo glad we booked with DJ Curley Sue for our wedding! She did an amazing job making sure the vibes were just right for us. We got so many compliments on the music for the evening and the other services that she provided like the Cloud Machine, Gobo Light, and Uplights were perfect!   During our consultation with DJ Curley Sue, my then financée and I shared our musical preferences as well as that our guests will have eclectic musical tastes given that they were flying in from New York, California, Jamaica, and England.
  
  DJ Curley Sue brought musical vibes for all of guests, reading the crowd to facilitate an enjoyable reception for all. Most importantly, she brought her personality. The reception was wonderful and everyone loved her as the DJ.
  
  Lastly, given that wedding planning is hectic, DJ Curley Sue's onboarding, contract and pricing was clear and simply. Engaging DJ Curley Sue meant that we had one less thing to worry about as we could move forward with confidence.

  Best decision ever!

  DJ Curley Sue is a master of her craft. Everyone at our wedding loved our DJ and there wasn’t a wallflower in sight. She was able to tap into the minds of our guest and anticipate their musical desires. We are so happy we booked her for our wedding and couldn’t imagine anyone else to do it.

  I've been to a lot of weddings and DJ Curley Sue was definitely the best DJ I've ever encountered. I flipped through pages and pages on weddingwire and i'm so glad i landed on her. She was so good at her job, I don't think I ever left the dance floor! She was also great to work with and goes above beyond. She even stayed and played one last song even though the venue was kicking us out. You can stop looking for other DJ's because Curley Sue is the one!

  Her comprehensive form gave us a good framework to brainstorm song ideas and made it easy to let her know what we were looking for. She was prompt for setup, and was able to handle with ease a new venue with multiple ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces- all outdoors. She was excellent at finding the right songs for the right moments and set a stellar lineup and sequence of songs and genres from our recommended list throughout the night. We got so many compliments on our music and her work! She made it easy to have a good time, and we knew we were in very good hands.

  Wonderful professional!

  DJ Curly Sue was fantastic! My husband and I secured her services very last minute, but she was able to accommodate and stepped in so professionally. I can not say enough about the remarkable job she did during the event also. The party got started before our guests even finished dinner. I would highly recommend Curly Sue to anyone!

  Amazing and worth every penny!

  DJ Curley Sue was simply amazing for our wedding! I'd hire her again in a heartbeat. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was. I also loved how she used the lights to really make the room pop. 100% happy with our decision!
