Christie was amazing! She dedicated time before the wedding to discuss our vision for music, and gave us ideas we wouldn’t have considered. She also came to the venue beforehand (since it was new to her) to get the best idea of her surroundings - a service we couldn’t be more grateful for!
Not only did she keep guests on the dance floor, she incorporated all the deep-cut bangers we had on our playlist. She made sure the ceremony and reception formalities went smoothly, and adapted flawlessly to some timeline switch ups. She knew how to release tables for the buffet, and kept everyone in line as the timeline went along. Guests AND vendors said she was *the* best DJ they’ve worked with.
Without her spark and incredible energy, our night wouldn’t have been the same. Thank you, Christie, for making our wedding an absolute dream!!! -

Our wedding DJ, DJ Christie, was absolutely spectacular! She kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. The music selection was spot on, and she was super responsive to our requests. Everyone had an amazing time, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our celebration perfect! -

Christie was an great partner from beginning to end of the process. She was professional and clearly experienced in various genres of music. She was welcoming and excited to work with us as a same sex couple. And most importantly she was able to do a great mix of music that kept the dancefloor full right up until the end of the night! -

First of all, DJ Christie is very professional and spent a lot of time with us to make sure our wedding day was a success. She is so down to earth and one of the coolest persons I’ve met in a long time. She was so on point, during the wedding ceremony and during the reception. Our reception was 🔥🔥🔥. Everyone is still talking about how great it was and how lit our party was. Our family, friends and we will never forget the moment that you produced. It was truly amazing. There quite honestly are not enough words to describe how incredible Christie is. When my wife and I were looking for a DJ, she was the first one we came across. And after that first meeting with her, my wife and I looked at each other and knew right away that it was a match made in heaven. Christie is very in tune with her clients and very detail oriented. And she does not disappoint at all, she truly enjoys what she does and it is very evident in her work. I can’t say enough about how incredible and personable Christie is, she truly enjoys and loves her job and loves making people happy. The entire evening of our wedding, people kept coming up to us and saying how amazing the DJ and the music was! She made it fun, entertaining and the music was on point all night! DJ Christie is truly the best of the best and I highly, HIGHLY recommend her if you ever need a DJ for any of your events, she is truly incredible! -

As a coordinator for our graduate school formal, I was so worried about finding a reliable and flexible DJ to fit our wants/needs. Saying that DJ Christie exceeded these expectations and more is the understatement of the year! Christie was referred to me by a student who had attended one of Christie's events in the past, and I knew she would be perfect for our event! Christie made sure everything was taken care of before our event, was on time, and most importantly, had an AMAZING set. She was flexible with song requests and announcements on the fly, which was something very important to us. She played a variety of music to fit everyone's taste, and knew the perfect songs to play with each setting (during dinner, cocktail hour, dancing, etc.). Christie also brought a photobooth that people absolutely loved! Overall, if you find yourself needing an affordable, reliable, and overall amazing DJ for your event, do yourself a favor and hire Christie! -

DJ Christie is an amazing person was absolutely perfect for our wedding! From the beginning of the planning, she was extremely chill and had great suggestions throughout. We were trying to keep everything as low stress as possible, and she absolutely fit role. On the wedding day, we had an absolute blast, and it more than exceeded our expectations! We had multiple guests afterwards texting us about how great she was! If we need another DJ in the future, we’ll definitely be going back to her. -

My Husband and I hired DJ Christie for our wedding at Society Room on July 3. When we were initially started looking for our DJ we knew we did not want a cheesy DJ that did more talking then music and tried to get our guest to play horrific table games. We were also worried about hiring a big company with multiple DJs and not knowing who we would get. The moment we first met Christie we clicked with her vibe right away. She listen to what we wanted, understood our vison of the evening and was just a spectacular human. She understood our reservations as a gay couple and how we worried about having respectful venders on our big day. She was everything we wanted and more. I created an extensive playlist and told her I wanted her to read the crowd and blend the music like a New Haven club all night. She knocked it out of the park, we loved it our guest loved it we danced all night. Christie also offers a Lighting package which we got, it was an awesome addition to the night and it was fabulous seeing our names and wedding date in lights. Christie takes her job seriously, it was her first wedding at Society Room and she took the time to tour the venue with me, to understand our vision and the room layout to maximize the experience in the space. If I could give her 6 stars I would, I would recommend DJ Christie to all my friends and family! -

In an industry overwhelmingly saturated by men, having a female DJ was SO important to us and we are beyond happy that we went with DJ Christie! We have been long-time fans of her New Haven presence and felt lucky that she was available to DJ on our wedding day! She was extremely detail-oriented with our wants and needs, meeting with us multiple times leading up to the wedding. She is equal parts professional & FUN! We had a few Jewish traditions incorporated, which she was so respectful about executing & she also went above and beyond creating a safe space for our queer wedding! She kept that party going ALL night long until our venue shut down and all our guests were raving about her afterwards!

DJ Christie was the most fun wedding DJ ever, and she understood right off the bat exactly what we wanted! We have been to so many weddings, and we always say that the DJ really makes or breaks the entire event. We were SO glad we hired DJ Christie super early in the game and booked her right away to lock down our date because she is getting increasingly in demand. She was the one and only DJ we spoke to and we knew after the very first time we talked to her that we had no doubts that she was 100% the right DJ for us. She listened to what we wanted and the vibe that we were going for and just "got it" immediately. DJ Christie is a true professional who really knows what she is doing and knows how to read the crowd! She also has a really chill and low key vibe, though, and knows how to handle anything. She is not overbearing at ALL like some wedding DJs are. We were SO impressed with how on point she was in introducing everyone and making sure the entire night went seamlessly. And once the real party got started, she really killed it. Her mixing skills are incredible and she did an awesome job at keeping the energy going. She also listened to all of our requests and recommendations! If you want your wedding to be truly the best night of your life, do not hesitate in hiring DJ Christie! -

DJ Christie and her team are the best! Alicia DJ'd our rock-music wedding reception and it was absolute PERFECTION! Do not hesitate to book her for your wedding! My husband and I did not want the traditional pop music that you hear at most weddings; we listen to mostly rock and metal and have no idea how to dance to hip hop. I specifically hired DJ Christie for her experience DJ-ing rock music at Coyote Ugly in NYC. She was extremely responsive and professional from the first email contact and even followed up with us after the wedding to make sure that everything went well. She not only drove up to walk through the venue with me, she also brought lighting with her so that she could make sure the space was lit the way we wanted on the day of. Two weeks before our wedding, one of Christie's other DJ's became unavailable for his event on our wedding date, and she had to cover his commitment. My husband and I were very concerned about switching DJs at the last minute, but Christie immediately arranged for us to meet Alicia and talk to her about our music tastes and wedding vision. Alicia totally understood what we wanted, and on the big day she could not have done a more amazing job. From the moment the dance floor opened, it stayed full until the reception ended. That's saying something given that our reception was in an airplane hangar and attended by a large population of engineers and plane nerds who had plenty of things competing for their attention. We had so many guests tell us that our wedding had the best music they'd ever heard at a reception, and I personally had trouble tearing myself away from the dance floor long enough to even get a drink. Alicia is the best, and I am so glad we had her as part of our wedding day. -

One word: spectacular
Wow! If I could give ten stars I absolutely would! My husband and I got married in Las Vegas this past weekend and Christie was the icing on the (wedding) cake to a perfect evening. She is professional, attentive, and an all around amazing DJ. Her ability to read the crowd kept the party going at the perfect pace throughout the night. I can't tell you the amount of compliments I got from our guests about how great she was. I think more people complimented her DJ skills than my wedding dress (lol)! There really aren't enough words to describe how important it is to have an awesome DJ at your wedding and DJ Christie MORE than delivered! She never skipped a beat - from wedding party announcements, special songs we requested, or playing the right types of songs at the right times - she knew exactly how to keep everyone dancing and entertained. If you are looking for a DJ who is second to none, treats you like family, and is an all around professional, DJ Christie is your gal! We could've danced all night! Thank you Christie for making our special day that much more special! -

Our wedding was last month, and we are still talking about how great DJ Christie was. She worked with us every step of the way, she was kind and professional. For our wedding we had requests of both Spanish and English music, a blend between family preferences and she delivered. She had us on the dancefloor all night, the transitions between songs was just right, and the consultations before the actual event eased any music stress we had. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a DJ. Thank you again Christie! -

DJ Christie Brings the Party!!!
I cannot speak highly enough about the experience of working with DJ Christie. Down to every last detail, she was helpful, responsive, and just an all around great person to work with. I had forgotten pretty close to the wedding day that I would need separate audio within our ceremony location, which was separate from the reception venue, and DJ Christie didn't blink an eye. She had everything ready to go to make sure our ceremony music was perfect, even on such short notice! When it came to the reception, I cannot even express how much of a good time everyone had. My family likes to party and my dad in particular can be very opinionated about DJs and music. By the end of the night, he was singing DJ Christie's praises and even contributed additional tip money because of how great a job she did. From mixing 90s/2000s pop hits and Latin Pop, DJ Christie did it all with finesse!
Once the dancefloor opened, it was never empty, a testament to DJ Christie's awesome music mixing. I'm a procrastinator, I'll admit, and even though we didn't have all of the music forms (which are extemely clear and DJ Christie walks you through every section to help you out) fully filled out until a week right before the wedding, everything was accommodated and perfect (even a fun father/daughter dance that cut from a sappy song right into Pitbull to get the party going!). It was a blast.
If you want a vendor who will make sure to put your requests and needs first, while also putting her own incredible spin on things to make sure the party keeps going, DJ Christie is a great DJ for you. Not to mention, she's so cool and you just want to be immediate friends with her when you meet her. A great experience ALL around! Cannot recommend her enough :) -

As a lesbian couple, finding the perfect fit for our wedding celebration was difficult. DJ Christie to the rescue! She was easy to work with from the first contact to the final details. She guided us to create our perfect vision. Comparable to other mainstream music companies, producers, and DJs, DJ Christie was knowledgeable, professional, and had everything that was needed, considering the ceremony and reception were on opposite sides of the outdoor space. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Honestly, if she is not considered, it will be a disservice to your experience as she will be the perfect fit no matter the occasion. DJ Christie's cost is ideal, her flexibility with the wedding venue location was superb, she worked with the onsite officiant to review the song selection timing, and her coordination with the photographer/videographer was impeccable. Do not hesitate to contact DJ Christie. -

Seamless from start to finish
I want to give a big thanks to dj christie for her overall quality of work, candor, involvement, excitement, & construction of the music aspect of our wedding. I had a lot of requests and ideas, yet she was very accommodating and worked with me so well. She captured what I wanted for the wedding and it translated so well to the dance floor. When we first started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a bilingual DJ as my husband is Guatemalan and we wanted to be inclusive of all of our families. From the very first moment we spoke to DJ Christie we just clicked and knew she was the perfect fit for us, and wow she proved us right. Our wedding was absolutely wild, and from the moment the dance floor opened it was NEVER empty for a single second. The music flowed perfectly, she mixed and cut the songs at the right time, and it was everything we could have asked for and more. We wish we could relive this night over and over again, and we'd hire Christie EVERY time. We cannot recommend DJ Christie and her team enough!
We also wanted to give a special shout out to Sydney! Sydney recently joined DJ Christie's team as a Live Singer, and having her sing during our ceremony was absolutely amazing. Her voice is beautiful and she is bilingual, so we had her sing one Spanish song during the guest arrival, then my Bridal Processional song and it was such an incredible touch. For me, having listened to my song over and over again, to have the doors open and hear it being sung in such an angelic voice acoustically was such a heartwarming moment for me and made the walk down the aisle all the more sweeter. She is the perfect addition to your wedding package with DJ Christie and you should absolutely book her! -

Christie is an extraordinary DJ - she’s extremely professional, she’s on point with everything, she interacts with anyone that crosses her path and she is full of smiles. HIRE THIS WOMAN! DJ Christie is wonderful, fun, and crazy professional (but like, cool professional). She was such a breeze to work with - she listened to us, brought ideas to the table, and created an incredible playlist based off our requested music. Neither me, nor my now husband, were really sure what to expect when we started this journey of meeting w/ vendors but Christie was everthing we hoped for and more.
