Desi Junction and DJ Chani are absolute superstars in the wedding industry! When it came to our wedding, music and sound quality were top priorities, and we scoured the market for the best. Desi Junction and Chani came highly recommended by our planners, decorators, and other vendors, and we're thrilled we chose them. From the first call we had with Chani, he understood our vision and our tastes, putting us at ease and sealing the deal.

Now, looking back post-wedding, we couldn't be happier with our decision. The music was beyond extraordinary - the dance floor was packed all night long, and Chani mastered the art of keeping the excitement alive, understanding the mood of the crowd, and playing amazing mixes with unique and seamless transitions between songs. MC Anish was exceptional and kept the party in full swing - he brought so much energy and heart to the whole affair. My husband and I remarked after the event, we would in a heartbeat buy tickets to a music festival/club with Chani as DJ headliner to dance the night away.

But what truly sets them apart is their expertise beyond just DJing. Their special effects and LED screen added a whole new dimension to our wedding. They collaborated with our photographer who we had done a previous Jaipur engagemenet shoot with to create numerous graphics using our photos and videos for the screens. And he worked with our decor team to bring it all together. The sound and microphone quality were flawless, ensuring that every guest, whether in the front or back of the room, heard everything crystal clear, even during our outdoor ceremony. We had been to a few weddings where this was not the case, or when being too close to the speakers was too loud, or when people in the back couldn't hear the microphones or it was muffled. Chani and his team are experts with the room, the space, and the sound needs.

We had intricate song change requirements for entrances and dances, but Chani, Anish, and their team executed flawlessly. We can't express enough gratitude to Chani and his team. We wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone who wants to dance the night away to unforgettable music. Choosing them was one of the best vendor decisions we made, leaving a lasting impression on our wedding. Now we hope all our friends and family book them so we can have this incredible quality and fun many more times over again. Thank you for making our special day unforgettable!

Absolutely amazing! Best in the game!

Chani and the team were beyond fantastic! The whole team was extremely helpful and professional. It was a breeze working with the gang from start to finish. Amrita does a great job being responsive, supportive with suggestions and organized! Chani, went over and beyond to make our event memorable in every way possible. Absolutely fantastic! Great energy and flow!

DJ Chani and the Desi Junctions team is absolutely fantastic! They truly did a great job in entertainment of our wedding festivities. They are a high quality, fully functional team and their equipment is superb! They did a great job of keeping the audience engaged and on the dancefloor! Desi Junction DJs bring THE PARTAY!

They have some TALENTED Djs & dholis. DJ Chani & Anish were at our baraat, wedding, & reception. We had a blast & the dance floor was packed the entire time. They were amazing! They have some really cool equipment, too, that can truly enhance any party. The dholi with the the light up dhol (sick) & the huge LED Dj booth were great additions. Excellent communication & easy to work with.
We ran into a bit of an issue during the baraat due to the chance of rain...the DJing started late & I know my groom was feeling unhappy about it then, but Dj Chani more than made up for it. He went above & beyond to make sure we were having a good time & absolutely killed it at the reception. Ive heard them play at other weddings as well & they put out an excellent mix of sound. 5-stars!

Amazing! Knocked it out of the park!

These guys are amazing! I had DJ Chani and MC Anish at my wedding who killed it at the baraat, the wedding, and the reception. Our crowd was mixed and everyone danced their buts off as the music was great all night. I even had a mishap with my mandap (altar) and wind knocking it out and these guys were nice enough to try to get the mandap back up. They kept the baraat pumped up with music and dholi and even at the reception. Everyone including my husband and I had an amazing day thanks to these guys. On top of getting the music and energy right, they're organized and will get on the phone at anytime you need to ensure the schedule is perfect. Highly recommend them!

Amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Chani is hands down the best DJ we could have worked with for our wedding. He was familiar with everything we asked for and gave some great recommendations as well. He kept the party going the whole night and it was because of his awesome spinning skills that everyone had such a good time. I can’t say enough good things about him. Chani is definitely now our go to for any events we have in the future.

Fact: You are looking for a DJ.
Fact: You’re the groom planning your wedding/event and all you want is MAJOR BANGERS.
Fact: You’re are the bride and you just want everything to be “lit for the ‘gram”.
FICTION: There are other DJs than Desi Junction DJs.

If you keep looking for a DJ after reading this far, may a divine spirit intervene. The team at Desi Junction made every step feel like a whip. DJ Chani made my husband move like a cross between MJ and JT. In all seriousness, there is no other option. There is nothing this company can improve on. There is nothing this company can’t do. They are in the business of making your event pop. To DJ Chani, DJ Paras, MC Anish, and Gurukaran: Thank you from the bottom our hearts. We can’t stop thinking about the great time we had. You made us wish time-travel was a thing, we want to go back.

Over all a complete package provided by Channi. Not only is he professional and talented, he made me relaxed by taking over the coordination with the singer that was added towards the end. Add that to a great honest character he has, definitely reommemded for folks who want to have an epic wedding.

I was referred to DJ Chani from a friend who used him at her wedding. My wedding was multicultural with 60% of the guests from North Texas and the rest of the guests from the U.S, Nepal, Trinidad and India. Everyone had a great time! Chani was great at getting everyone on the dance floor and including many different genres of music. I’ve received many compliments for my wedding with guests stating it’s been the best wedding they’ve attended! We had guests dancing from 9pm -1am non-stop. I also liked how Chani has a meeting with you a week before the wedding to go over details of the wedding day and also allows you to send over song requests to play during the reception. I highly recommend Desi Junction they will make sure all the guests are dancing and having a great time.

It was an absolute pleasure working with DJ Chani! He was very responsive to any texts and emails throughout the planning process and was on top of everything, which I really appreciated. Of course the most important, he is an AMAZING DJ! We loved all the Desi and American music he played throughout the events. Our guests raved about how much they enjoyed the music, especially the reception - the dance floor was always packed! We would definitely recommend him!

DJ Chani and his team Desi Junctions are the best! From the moment we met him, we were very impressed with his professionalism and how involved he got in the wedding. He’s the type of DJ where you mention something once and he will remember it. He was also very responsive to our phone calls and texts which we appreciated. All of our guests raved about him and said that he did a really good job. His mix of Bhangra, Bollywood and English music really pumped up the crowd and kept the party going all night long! He was always willing to meet or speak with us and also helped create song mixes throughout the entire weekend. Overall, DJ Chani and his team did an amazing job and we would definitely recommend them!

Our wedding would not be the same if DJ Chani and his team were not a part of it. Each and every moment was special because of how great this team is when it comes to entertaining. In the planning process they were so helpful to give us feedback. We were planning on having a destination wedding and they accommodated all of our special requests. DJ Chani and his team went above and beyond our expectations! They are so diversely ranged in all genres of music so each and every one of our guests had a blast. DJ Chani was referred to us by our wedding coordinator and also by one of my best friends. Accordingly, we had high expectations for him and his team. Simply put, we were not disappointed.
I’ll touch on a few qualities that I believe Chani embodied. Firstly, he was very organized. He tried to understand what type of music we liked and disliked through a music selection sheet. Beyond just music, he worked with our emcees for each of our events to ensure that the two parties were on the same page. With respect to lighting, he chose ambient lighting that complimented our decor, but did not take away from its appeal.
Secondly, Chani and team were punctual. They were where they were supposed to be long before they needed to be there. For instance, the groom’s side was supposed to arrive between 2-3pm, but Chani was set up by 1pm. He did not operate under Indian standard time.
Thirdly, he was about customer satisfaction. Our Sangeet was supposed to end at 10:30pm, yet, we ended up going on until 11:30pm. Despite the longer than expected event timing, Chani kept going strong and towards the end, it seemed that not even he wanted to stop! He was feeding off of the crowd’s energy. A similar situation happened with our Reception too, we ended up wrapping up 1 hour later than expected and again, he had no issues with it. He was just having fun.
Outside of the three soft skills discussed above, Chani’s music selection was amazing. I thought he had a tough task ahead of him with our events since our preferred music selection was made up of House and Indian. I could not have been more wrong. He found a way to get creative and mix songs in and out very seamlessly. His ability to manage the crowd and keep everyone engaged was very impressive too.
I highly recommend Chani to anyone looking for a DJ who can perform at a high level, is easy to work with and is damn good at what they do. In my experience, not all DJs are created equal. Chani rises above most, if not all.

Desi Junction did such a great job at my wedding in March. They were very responsive and flexible during the whole process. DJ Chani was great at pumping up our guests during all of our events. Everything was flawless, especially the reception!!!! He kept the dance floor busy all night, was very easy to work with, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Go with Desi Junction DJs! This vendor was the most responsive and organized throughout my entire wedding process. His team was always responding to my constant questions in a timely manner and he made sure my fiancé and I were comfortable leading up to our wedding date. He was also incredibly friendly and gave us advice and modern ideas to make our special day truly special.

Desi Junction did both our wedding and reception in June 2017. Throughout the entire process they were very responsive and flexible with meeting and responding to questions. My wife and I felt like they were always on the same page with what we wanted in our events. In addition DJ Chani and his office staff were always happy to meet with us in person or phone. Overall, they made it a fairly stress-free process. On the day of our events they definelty delievered! The entire and wedding and reception went flawlessly. DJ Chani was amazing during the baraat and lit dancefloor on fire during the evening. My wife and I were not too selective on music, so it was great to see how they brought the music to life with their own touch. Their lighting, TV/ AV, and sound quality is top notch and reasonably priced for the service they provide. Desi Junction provides the best quality of services no matter how big or small an event is, and they make a strong effort to listen to customers. We would definitely recommend Desi Junction and DJ Chani.

Just do it. Just go with Desi Junction DJs. They’re the best and it’s not even close. With the number of so called DJs floating around searching for one for your wedding could be hard. There are so many choices! If you want someone to just take a laptop and plug it into some speakers then these guys are not for you. Each time Chani was on the turntables and Anish had the mic it was just awesome. The groom was especially impressed with the mobile Bharaat system. After all the stress of the wedding was over Chani made sure that the bride and groom had the chance to really enjoy the reception. All the music was awesome and the sound system was insane (they had to add more power in the ballroom to support it; just think about that!). Any request we had was as good as done and afterwards we got so many compliments on the entertainment. Don’t play yourself when it comes to entertainment. Choose these guys.

Chani and his team are phenomenal we got married in 2012 and till this day our friends and family tell us how much of a good time they had at our wedding and how much they loved our DJ after all these years knowing Chani and his team all I can say is they are extremely hard working and always make it happen no matter what keep it up love you guys.

DJ Chani is absolutely an AMAZING DJ!!!!!! He came out for my wedding in January 2017.
Everyone has priorities at their wedding and mine was amazing music. To do that, you need a good DJ. If not, your entire wedding is going to be boring. Trust me! Therefore I did a plethora of research of good wedding DJ's. I contacted multiple different DJ's and when I talked to Chani he took time with answering my questions and was very prompt. The main reason I booked him is because he sent me a small mixtape and when I heard that...(I actually listened to it about 10 times lol) I WAS HOOKED!
When he came for our wedding he did a whole day event: music for bharaat/wedding/cocktail hour/reception and he absolutely nailed it. He is a DJ that you basically give your music preferences and he will do the rest. The reasons you should book him:

a.) For my bharaat it was 28 degrees outside out of all the days and he STILL got people to dance!!! THAT has to tell you he knows what he is doing and can get the crowd to dance no matter what.
b.) prompt and prepared with the best music equipment (The reception was rocking out until 1 am.....and finally people started to leave) IT WAS AN AMAZING night.
c.) fits the "look" of a DJ.....! He is young and looks the part of a DJ! YES This matters...!
d.) he will play what you want- half trinidad/half desi wedding- he did his research and played all the right tracks for trini part
e.) he can read the crowd- he knows when to play rap vs. desi music....trust this guy he knows what he is doinggggggggggggg!!!

I have had people come up to me and say " that was one of the most fun weddings Ive been to" <<< people from california/florida/everywhere....telling me this....I know my wedding would not have been what it was without DJ CHANI.

Thank you again DJ Chani for coming out to my wedding. Words cannot explain how much I appreciated what insanely awesome party you helped me throw!!!!!!!!

DJ Chani and his team with Desi Junction DJs was truly incredible. They did lighting and music for our wedding and reception. The wedding was lit up beautifully. The reception was perfect as well and matched extremely well with the decorators colors. Chani put in the effort to talk to my family the week before about the program and plan for the evening so he would be prepared. He checked all of the powerpoints/sounds/music we needed for our reception prior to the event, so there was no stress about it working the day of. This was all on top of his job to DJ the reception which was phenomenal. He kept our friends and family on the dance floor all night until the wedding venue shut us down and the music was always upbeat and great for dancing (and when I requested anything he always played it with a nice transition from whatever he was playing before!). What a great group to DJ our reception!

DJ Chani was a vendor we definitely knew we wanted long before we even started planning our wedding and I am sure that is the case with many people! He is a reliable, hard working, sweet, and talented guy who we’ve become good friends with over the years as he has DJed at most wedding we’ve attended. We provided Chani a different format and style for each of our events based on the mood and atmosphere we wanted to create and he executed this flawlessly. We have never partied so hard in our lives! More importantly, we saw friends and family who NEVER dance get on the dance floor and enjoy themselves… this just speaks volumes about Chani’s ability to gauge his audience and bring the party to life! His team also deserves a big kudos as they were on time with their set-ups and tear downs and super helpful all around. We are just thrilled we got DJ Chani to spin at our wedding before he becomes world famous! ;) Thank you so much Chani!!!

5 Stars seems a bit too good to be true, nobody is perfect, right?

Well, Chani and his team LITERALLY CRUSHED my reception. Here is how: First, he uses the highest grade of sound and lighting equipment. He will ask if you want intelligent lighting, you need to get that. He asked me which song genres we liked prior to his arrival. You need to tell him. He intertwines different songs from different time periods so freaking well! The intelligent lights move in concert with whatever music is playing! Honestly, everyone was dancing THE WHOLE TIME for 3.5 straight hours during my reception. We would have kept on going but we had to leave by 1am! The freaking place looked and sounded like a club! He literally has everything you need for sound and lighting, a true one-stop-shop. Nobody is going to remember the chairs you used, the colors of the fabrics, your centerpieces, how your cake looked like.....they will remember your PARTY. Your MUSIC. Your DJ. Don't mess around...hire this man and his team.

Deejay Chani and his team are the BEST DJs in the biz. From the start, he was so friendly to talk to and listened to the ideas we had in mind. He is the one vendor out of all of our vendors that was so accommodating and helpful and he was genuinely excited about our event. Most other vendors treat your wedding like its just another business event for them whereas Chani truly loves what he does. On the wedding day, him and his team provided the best mobile baraat and his MC got everyone so crunk! In the time between the wedding and reception, Chani and his team were hard at work to make sure everything was set to go for the reception. He went out of his way to add more lighting to make the place to place look spectacular! A wedding is usually a stressful time but if you hire Chani and his team, he will take a lot of that stress away because you know the entertainment will be on point! You can tell that him and his team love with that do and they make the night a blast! As soon as we got in our car when we left the reception- the first thing we said to each other was "Chani was awesome!" Our guests still talk about how awesome he was and I strongly recommend hiring him!!

My only advice to you all is to hire him first before you hire your other vendors. Chani and his team do so much more besides DJ services like amazing lighting and dance floors etc! I wish I would have done this!!

Thank you to Deejay Chani and his whole team at Desi Junction! You guys are the best and made our night so memorable!

DJ Chani an expert DJ and a gem of a person too. Throughout my wedding planning he provided me excellent advice on lighting, music, and guided me towards other premium vendors when I needed assistance. He helped me in so many ways with his professionalism and genuine interest to ensure that my wedding was a hit. Chani made sure that the crowd kept on dancing away both nights of my wedding events and especially at the reception. Everyday since my wedding I get at least a few calls and or text messages to ask me who my DJ was! Chani even had my 67 year old aunt on the dance floor for hours. Chani will forever be our DJ from now on for any and every special event. Thank you Chani, we are so blessed to have had you be our preferred DJ and friend!!!!!

I don't even know where to start! It has taken us months to figure out how to thank Chani and his team! We have tried writing reviews and letters but we had no idea how to even start to thank him. So here goes nothing!

They completely made our wedding! From the music, dhol player, tabla player and lighting! Everyone has raved about it for months and hands down it is due to Chani! Thank you so much for not only going above and beyond for us but treating us with such love! Not only did DJ Chani provide amazing services, he went out of his way to make sure that the program for the reception was stellar and fabulous by cutting music or any other odd request that my friends/famliy had. He made all of it happen and we got to sit back and enjoy it all! We absolutely would recommend DJ Chani and his team for your event! Amazing! Dont know how to thank you enough!

Dj Channi made our wedding party ROCK! Our guests enjoyed him just as much as we did. He is very professional, reliable, and easy to work with. Whenever we met with him, he was eager to help us make our day special and had great ideas to contribute as well. My Husband and I definitely recommend DJ Channi and we know our wedding would not have been the same without him!

The Desi Junction team did a great job with our event in Minneapolis, MN. They were accommodating, responsive, and professional. On top of all that, they had the party rocking all night! I'd recommend them to anyone, especially if you are having a desi wedding!

We are so thankful to have had DJ Chani at our wedding! We booked the uplighting, live feed, speaker set up, projectors and star lit dance floor through Desi Junctions. Everything looked so beautiful when we got there and they did such a great job entertaining our guests on the dance floor! The star lit dance floor was such a hit with all of our guests especially the little ones! My husband and I had a few special requests with the music and DJ Chani was able to edit our entrance music the way we wanted and make it sound good at the same time. DJ Chani was able to make our event such a success, and we are so happy with how everything came out on our wedding day!!

Chani is AWESOME! Oh my gosh, he did such an incredible job! First of all, he is a gem of a guy and very nice to work with! Secondly, he knows what he is doing. Total professional - his whole team. He kept the dance floor packed all night long. I got so much positive feedback on him!

We got a sound system for our band at the sangeet, mobile Baraat and dholi, and DJing, sound, and uplights.

We had to modify Baraat plans due to a very cold and rainy weekend, but I know everyone danced their butts off even with the modified plan. The dhol player was the bomb (well, by what the groom's side told me :)), and Chani even added a guy (Sibin) who helps pump up the crowd with dancing, a mic, etc - he was a big hit too!

Chani really listened to the information I gave him about the type of music my husband and I like, and the end result matched that and even went above and beyond. He is so talented and reads the crowd so well! The uplights at the reception were gorgeous (loved how they changed colors during our first dance!), and I loved his DJ booth and the whole set up.

I would say that he ties with 1 other vendor as my favorite vendor to work with out of the MANY I worked with to plan my big fat Indian wedding. He made a stressful time less stressful - thank you Chani. He made himself available AND he proactively gave me a heads up that he was going to be out of town the weekend before my wedding and let me know how I could get in touch with him. Even my planner didn't do this!!! Seriously, if you are even thinking about going with him, just go for it!

I will never forget how much fun I had dancing my butt off with my new hubby, friends and family all night long. THANK YOU Chani!!!

If you want a guaranteed good time at your wedding then you need Desi Junction DJs. Chani is very professional and takes care of everything. Just tell him the kind of music you like and he will take it from there. I didn't have to worry about anything when it came to music. Best DJs in Houston!!

Desi Junction rocked our reception, hands down! Leading up to our big day, it was difficult to get in touch and response time was lacking, but the team definitely came back with an answer and delivered everything we had discussed with them. The MC did an outstanding job, and we had never even met him prior to our reception, but by the end of the night he was embraced by both families! The DJ had everyone on the dance floor for 5 hours, and it was never empty!

Desi Junction also provided our room lighting for the reception and flipped the room inside out. We got to see the hall before guests came in, and the transformation blew my mind! All services provided, they created a great atmosphere and we had an amazing time watching our dearest guests have an amazing time! I highly recommend this team!
