Incredible Wedding DJ!

10/10. DJ Casanova (Jamie) was incredible at our bilingual (spanish/english) wedding in May! We absolutely recommend him. Throughout the process Jamie was very communicative, kind, and helpful. He is easy to talk to and confident. His services are affordable.
His setup was perfect for the ceremony and reception. The mix of Hispanic songs and American was spot on and literally everyone danced all night long.
When we wanted a specific speaker setup for the send off, Jamie was accommodating.
He took our music considerations into mind as well as added his own.
He effectively made announcements during the night.
His planning/timeline sheet helped us feel like everything was accounted for.

Excellent Wedding DJ

Jamie (DJ Casanova) did an amazing job for our August 2025 wedding. I needed a bilingual DJ who would be able to keep both our Spanish and English -speaking families on the dance floor, and he did just that. There was not a moment in the party when the dance floor was empty! Our guests have been raving about his work since the wedding. Jamie also put a lot of care into the music for cocktail hour, ceremony and dinner time, which was very important for me. He was super organized and supportive in the planning process, too. He answered all our questions kindly and promptly, and was very easy and fun to work with.

DJ Casanova for the win!

Jamie Alberti, aka DJ Casanova, was the BEST DJ we could have possibly chosen for our wedding. He was incredibly helpful in the lead up to the big day and met with us in advance to discuss the details, the vibe we were going for, and the types of music we definitely wanted played on our big day! On the day itself, he had all the tech set up and ready to go for our ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception itself - all of which were spread out in different locations across our venue. He definitely got his steps in on our wedding day but he was certainly up to the task. He did a great job with the announcements for the evening and we're so happy that we went with him! Highly recommend!

Best dj ever!

He was absolutely phenomenal!! It was a must to have a bi-lingual DJ, but Jamie went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and everyone knew what was happening!! He was so easy to work with and very reasonably priced. He really exceeded all of our expectations!

Our Guests LOVED the music and Jamie was so easy to work with!

If you want a DJ who is easy to work with, great at his craft, and cares about you and your needs, Jaime (DJ Casanova) is your man! My wife and I come from very different musical backgrounds, so making sure all of our family and friends had a good time and felt well-represented during the party was really important to us. From day one, Jaime made it feel like we were working with an old friend who just wanted the best for our wedding and he absolutely delivered! Everyone had so much fun and guest after guest commented on how much they enjoyed the music during the party. It’s also worth mentioning that Jaime hung with us after we had to reschedule our reception twice over two years (thanks, COVID) and worked with the rest of our vendors to make the long-awaited day as memorable as we could have ever hoped. Thanks, Jamie!

Highly recommend Jaime!

We had an amazing experience working with Jaime (DJ Casanova) for our wedding in October 2022 (been meaning to write a review for so long)! Jaime was very professional throughout the whole planning process. We actually hired him in 2020 but we had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid (he was very flexible and made the postponement process very smooth). We met virtually/over the phone a few times and he assured us he was available to meet as many times as we'd like. Closer to our wedding date, we had a more formal meeting where we went through the timeline of the whole reception detail by detail. He had a form where we put in all the information, which showed he was experienced at the job. I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to be played at our reception and he was super easy-going about it and assured us that he was there to implement our vision. On our actual wedding day, everything went as planned and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined! I love to dance and so do many of our guests, and thanks to Jaime, the dance floor was never empty even for one second! He knew how to read the room and change the music accordingly. Even after our wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fun the party was! In sum, I highly recommend Jaime and already have recommended him to some friends looking to get married soon! Thank you again for everything, Jaime!

Favorite Vendor at Our Wedding!

Jamie was one of our favorite vendors to work with! He was professional, kind, thoughtful, and never made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. We worked so well together, and I had so much fun collaborating with him on music decisions and making amazing playlists for every part of the wedding. He even helped with special requests, such as altering some of the music we were going to use and make them appropriate for certain parts of our wedding. During the wedding, he was one of the only vendors I didn't have to worry about. I cannot recommend DJ Casanova enough!

Amazing, kind, and fun DJ

DJ Casanova was recommended to us by our venue and we could not have been happier with our decision to have him DJ our wedding reception. He is extremely organized and responsive. He shared a wedding planning sheet with us that allowed us to build our timeline and reception playlist. He also allowed us to create our own playlists for cocktail hour and dinner music (though he has some of his own playlists that we 'stole' some songs from too). What really made DJ Casanova stand out was that he met with us virtually (we don't live in the DMV area) multiple times before our wedding. His main focus during the first session was to learn about us as individuals and a couple, as well as our families. The second session was focused on logistics, name pronunciations, etc. He was extremely receptive to our requests and made the wedding day exactly what we wanted. Many of our guests asked us how we found our DJ because they were so blown away with the musical selections he played and how friendly he was during the reception. We give our highest recommendation!

DJ Cassanova was great!

DJ Cassanova was great---he went above and beyond for the mid-range package--(which he discounted because we also had a salsa band.)

He mixed our first dance songs together and was super responsive. Great DJ!

Amazing DJ!!

Jamie was fantastic!! We have been to so many events where a DJ just plays a playlist and we knew that we wanted our reception to be a great atmosphere for dancing with a real DJ. Our wedding was also multicultural and we wanted a lot of different genres represented at our reception. Jamie was able to smoothly blend traditional Jewish, Latin, and other American wedding classics to create a lively fiesta. Our dance floor was packed all night and we continue to receive lots of compliments on the music from our guests. Beyond DJing, Jamie is extremely professional and kind. He was accommodating when we had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, and continued to express support and commitment to our wedding. We would highly recommend DJ Casanova Productions.

Amazing Experience!!!

I want to start by saying Jamie is an absolutely joy to work with! He is incredibly patient, understanding, and will work with you to create your vision within your budget. He came to the venue to test out the up lights ahead of time, so everything would be right for our wedding day. He even worked with us to incorporate both of my wedding colors in the uplights. I would absolutely work with Jamie again and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for quality work! Thanks again Jamie for making my day incredibly special!

Best DJ in the DMV!

DJ Cassanova was very professional from the start. During our initial meeting, he came well prepared and provided my wife and me with precise details of what he brings to the table. He brings a lot! He was very responsive during the planning phase of the wedding and took a lot of pressure off our shoulders. On the day of the event, Jamie was early and on time with his setup all set and prepared at two locations of the venue. He really brought life to our party and had everyone on the dance floor. He knows a large selection of music that he can fit right into any party. If you're still deciding which DJ to book, don't look any further cause DJ Cassanova is the perfect DJ for your event!

Professional and Versatile

We hired Jamie for our Company holiday party and we were thoroughly impressed. A few things that I thought exceeded the level of service expected were:

1) Timely - Jamie arrived hours before the event to set up his equipment and lighting, which set a really nice ambiance.

2) Versatile - Jamie was able to help with being an "MC" for a few program items we had planned. He learned of the program at the start of the event and improvised well. Very Professional!

3) Music selection - Our office has staff with many varying nationalities and Jamie was able to find and play music per request that met the needs of everyone.

4) Added value - we forgot to organize a proper camera for the event and Jamie, on his own accord, took photos with his own camera and shared them with us. This was completely above and beyond what he was required to do and now we have memories for it.

We are grateful to have worked with Jamie and would highly recommend him to others!

A Family DJ

Rey catering to our needs

DJ Casanova was very attentive to our needs the whole night. From our conference call to the day of my wedding, he was professional and very helpful. DJ Casanova did an amazing job DJ’ing my wedding. He was thorough with his preparation prior to the reception. He confirmed timing of each of the 1st dance songs and sent us the edits to the songs for us to confirm. DJ Casanova was a hit at our wedding! I haven't been to many weddings, but our guests were very complimentary of his music choices and overall presence at the reception. Get's the party started!

I am a Wedding Planner that hired DJ Casanova for a few events including my own wedding. He really knows how to get the party started! He really takes the time to make sure all of the name pronunciations are right and confirms all of the important music choices with you. What can I say. My husband and I were amazed at the level of dedication Jaime and his team put into our wedding. He went above and beyond expectations to make sure our night was unforgettable. DJ Casanova was the best! Coming from Miami, we wanted to make sure we booked a DJ well versed in latin music as well as the classics and he did not disappoint. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, especially during the Hora Loca. In addition to being a dream to work with beforehand (we spoke to him several times on the phone to make sure we went over the schedule, the music we wanted and did NOT want, the announcement and the vibe that we were trying to achieve), he was also very flexible at the end of the night when we wanted to extend our reception at the last minute. The uplights and mood he provided was everything we hoped for. I would recommend Jamie for anyone looking for a lively event and a super fun, easy to work with DJ!

We interviewed quite a few DJs around the area, and are so thankful to have chosen DJ Casanova for our special day. Our wedding was unique in a way that might scare some DJs away, as we wanted to have not only a good DJ, but a bilingual MC that could provide translation from English to Spanish and vice versa. Also, the music selection had to be suitable for both American and Latin American guests. From our very first meeting with Jaime, we knew that he was the DJ for us. He not only displayed full knowledge of his work as a DJ, but also his prowess as a bilingual MC. He addressed many of our questions immediately, and provided us with a wedding planning spreadsheet that helped us organize our wedding timeline from start to finish. His packages were complete, and offered services such as MC, translation, uplights, and a gobo light set up. He was very flexible with our various requests, and even showed up to our wedding rehearsal to prepare for the wedding. He is very responsive, reliable, kind and loves what he does. He did an excellent job with all the sound, music, and announcements during our ceremony and reception and we received many compliments about his work from our family and friends. He kept people on the dance floor all night long. He has a very nice style as an MC, as he doesn’t sound like a radio host or like he’s announcing a sporting event. You will not be disappointed with his work. We highly recommend DJ Casanova for your event! We give him five stars out of five.

We used DJ Casanova for my daughter's Quinceañera, he worked with her choosing the music and make her feel special thru the whole process.
When you have an event usually things can be stressful, he is very professional and keeps you informed the entire time.

Jamie did a wonderful job! He was so easy to work with during the planning process and gave excellent suggestions whenever we needed help. He did the music for the ceremony as well as the wedding reception. He arrived on time, had everything set-up on time. If I could give him more than just 5 stars I would I'm so happy we found Dj Casanova we had the best time of our lives he kept the party going from beginning to the end I never saw the dance floor empty everyone danced non stop. 50% of our guest were Spanish speaking and the other 50 English speaking he made sure everyone at the event knew what was going on so yes he took the time to speak both and I appreciate it since I wanted everyone there to feel comfortable and know what was going on since a quinciañera is a lot about traditions We had a schedule for the night with him but I had to change almost the whole schedule through the night he was patient and professional to make last minute changes not once I saw an attitude like o gosh here she comes again lol. We loved Dj Casanova we for sure will recommend to everyone that needs a Dj and wants to have the time of their lives. I could write so much more thank you DJ Casanova my daughter and friends still talk about the event.

Book him! From the very initial conversation to the execution of his services, the experience was great! He is very knowledgeable about all different music genres, which was very important for us since our marriage is a mix of cultures. I requested certain music, which not only was he very familiar with, he made some fantastic suggestions. Equipment, sound quality, lights, entertainment was all excellent! Very friendly and professional, was very willing to work out a price that would work with our budget (we had 3 different set ups [ceremony, cocktail hr, reception], lights, MC). I recommend him without any reservations! People are still telling me how fun the wedding was!

DJ Casanova was AMAZING!! He met with us twice to go over the music and wedding day schedule. He played everything we requested and felt the crowd to keep everyone on the dance floor. We had a mix of different genre likes from Latin to Rock and he was able to mix the music and it was flawless. We would hire him again in a heartbeat. After inquiring and booking with DJ Casanova Productions, we were set up with DJ Tyso for music coverage throughout our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He hit it out of the park, our goal was to have everyone dancing as soon as dinner and speeches finished, and we were not disappointed. Super professional and very cool looking DJ booth set up. They also included uplighting and a cool light effect to make things look like we were underwater (under the sea theme, no shame). It was just perfect. We had a few song requests that we wanted to make sure were played but otherwise we just wanted him to do what he does best, DJ and play to the crowd. It was perfect.

I had my daughter's 15th birthday last week and DJ Casanova really made it spectacular! He was very professional from beginning to end and even arrived earlier than anticipated to set up prior to the event. I hired him because he answered some questions I asked him to determine whether he was the type of DJ I was looking for and he delivered even more than I expected. He kept the music varied which kept everyone, teenagers and adults, dancing and having a great time the whole night. We had an excellent experience with this vendor.

Quality of Service- the sound system used sounded awesome, his set up is sharp-he sets up a wall that covers the DJ table making his set up look very nice with the wedding decor and ambient lighting. The music mix was seamless and smooth, very experienced DJ. He definitely kept the dance floor full of energy.

Responsiveness- He was very responsive and on top of the requirements. We (I) was slacking due to other life events and he continuously sent reminders and even worked with us up to the last minute to make sure our event was memorable.

Professionalism- Well spoken with an outstanding professional but very friendly demeanor. Very easy to communicate with.

Value- I don't have much experience with contracting DJ's so I can't honestly judge the value but with my interaction with him and the quality of service he provided I can say his value is worth the five starts.

Flexibility- We didn't require him to be too flexible but he managed to be flexible with me since I procrastinated with the music list. Based on his personality and professional demeanor I'm sure he'll work with any reasonable request.

Jamie is awesome. We had him do the DJ / MCing for our wedding and I recommend his work very highly. Jamie was very responsive through the planning process, taking into account our musical tastes while putting together our playlists. We had two ceremonies, including a relatively complex hindu ceremony, and Jamie was totally on top of the different songs that needed to be played at different points of time. We also had different people singing with backing tracks - and Jamie had everything lined up perfectly. The dancing was a blast, and all the guests had a great time.

Jame was reliable, responsive, on time, on top of what he had to do, and also was fun and relaxed to work with. HIghly recommended.

DJ Cassanova was amazing to work with!. He worked with us to customize the music selection, even finding sources for some very esoteric songs. He then put on a multi layered show at the wedding. We were hosting the wedding at the Ritz - and DJ Cassanova blended in perfectly. He gauged the audience very well, playing slow elegant numbers to first get them to the floor, and then slowly ramping up through the course of the evening. By late night, we were partying it up and burning up the dance floor. He even humored our Indian guest by putting together a slew of Bollywood hits on the fly. Everyone had a blast. I would not hesitate to recommend DJ Cassanova's service to anyone looking for great value.

My review is a little late, but it's better than never writing one! I highly commend Jaime's professionalism. Everyone at our wedding had a great time. We barely left the dance floor! Our wedding was almost crashed by another group at the hotel because of the quality of the music that was playing the whole night. I definitely recommend his services. You tell him what you want (and don't want) to play at your wedding, and he'll definitely deliver...actually, better than what you'll expect.

Finding a DJ for a wedding is hard, esp one that needs all types of music to be played, Hispanic music, old school music, hip hop, top hits, basically everything! And Jamie provided just that, everything! He was amazing. From the time we met him we felt comfortable that he understood what we were looking for and then on our big day he delivered. Jamie Salomon Alberti was our DJ and MC at my daughter's Sweet 16 party, which lasted almost 5 hours. He impressed me from the very first meeting with his professional manner of dress and communications. He established a great rapport with all of us while planning the event. We wanted a mix of Bollywood Indian and Western music for the event. On the day of the event, he completely exceeded our expectations by arranging awesome laser-lighting for the dance floor and using his technical skills to allow for karaoke singing as well as expertly weaving the Bollywood music with Western music in order to keep all the attendees engaged. He was very good at reading the crowd and getting them to participate with the right music. The dance floor was packed until the close! The party was a huge success in large part due to him.

We used DJ Casanova for our daughter's Quinceañera celebration. Salomon was excellent from start to finish. He met with us twice before the event. The first time we discussed some details of the event, and the second time we talked about the evening's agenda. The agenda was altered at the last minute, and Salomon adjusted accordingly. The day of the event, he arrived very early to set up the devices. So early that he even stand up when other musicians failed to be on time!! The music he played was nice and everybody had an awesome time!

We found Jamie a.k.a. DJ Casanova because we wanted a bilingual DJ who could bridge our two cultures (white/hispanic). Jamie really delivered. In addition to DJ'ing, he was able to provide a speaker and microphone for our ceremony and get it set up on short notice. He listened closely to our requests for songs and for how to pace the reception. He had a great song list of classics, latin tunes, and modern hits that kept the crowd moving. His energy level never dropped, and he continually exhorted our guests to get into the music. I'll admit, I wasn't anticipating his forthright style - he's got a headset mic that he used a lot to call out to the crowd. But it made for a very fun night. Also, the volume in our small event room was a little much for some of the old folks (but I blame myself for not bringing it to his attention earlier, and when I did, he was quick to adjust).

A great wedding with DJ Casanova!!!

We had a wonderful wedding reception for my daughter Shannon and her husband Jairo in Rockville Maryland and DJ Casanova played a HUGE part in making it a great success. They provided great music (and cool lighting under out tent) for the ceremony and especially for the reception. The guests were rocking all night long to the dance music. DJ Casanova even "customized a song" for the daddy-daughter dance so my older daughter could sing it - and, everyone loved it cheered loudly, and half of them were crying with joy. Everyone Danced All Night long!

It was a pleasure to work with Jaime and we have gotten nothing but compliments on the lights and how much fun everyone had dancing. I had many changes and last minute changes to my playlist, lights, and even the day off the timeline of events but Jaime stuck with us and made the entire process stress free! Our family and friends were on the dance floor all night which is what we were hoping for! Thank you Jaime!!!

DJ Casanova did an excellent job of serving as a DJ and MC at our wedding (10/19/13). At first I was not sure, how well he would cater to an all American crowd, but he assured me he had excellent experience at all American weddings, and he delivered!!! He was an excellent MC keeping things in order and organized (dances, announcements, etc.). His dinner music was beautiful. And when it came down to partying, he played some hot tracks. I recommend him for your event. Hire him!!!

DJ Casanova knows how to help facilitate a wonderful time for all your guests - young and old alike - by finding the right mix of music for any audience. Nice guy but a lot of issues during the wedding.

DJ Casanova is a nice guy but he unfortunately had a number of errors throughout the day. He left the venue the venue for over 30 mins without telling anyone which put us behind schedule. There was miscommunication between him and our coordinator so the right songs weren’t cued up and ready during the ceremony. The first dance songs had a some incorrect starts. He also changed the bouquet toss song without letting us know ahead of time. Maybe it was just an off day but not the best performance.
