Dan and his team were fantastic! They were excellent in their communications prior to the wedding and made it easy for us to provide required information. They did music for both the ceremony and reception and I was a bit worried since they weren’t part of the rehearsal and we had many different songs to play for the ceremony procession. It was done perfectly!!!
They arrived on time and had everything set up and had all that they needed. He handled our announcements and had a fantastic, professional yet fun attitude. The music was great and he ensured all were having fun. He provided uplighting (in our tent and our trees) which really made the event come alive. We highly recommend Dan and his team!!!

We had an incredible experience with our DJ! From start to finish, he kept the energy high and the timeline on track.
One of the things we appreciated most was his ability to cater to multiple generations and music tastes throughout the evening. He seamlessly blended genres and eras, making sure our youngest guests to our oldest family members, felt included and had a great time. We received so many compliments from guests about the music selection and overall atmosphere.
Beyond the music, his emceeing was outstanding. He was professional, engaging, and kept the reception flowing smoothly without ever being overbearing. Every announcement was clear, timely, and helped make the evening feel organized and stress-free.

Best Part of the Night
Dan did such a great job DJing our wedding. The communication from the first interaction was spot on. We booked him almost a year before our wedding and he provided great insight into how the night should run and even sent us a playlist of other weddings he had DJed in the past. He knew details about us as a couple and where our guest flew in from to attend the wedding which I appreciated. The pyrotechnics that he provided in his packages were definitely a show stopper! I wish I could host another big event to have Dan DJ again. We definitely would recommend him to anyone looking to make their wedding day extra special

Amazing!
DJ Black Wizard really blew us all away! From the moment the music started, our guests were up dancing and having a blast. We told him the vibe we were going for and he executed! He played a mix of songs as we are a multicultural couple and it flowed beautifully. He also engaged with the crowd on the dance floor which added a fun touch! The lighting, monograms, and the video playing of pictures of us in the bar area were top notch!!! Can't recommend him enough!

Best DJ Experience - Wedding December 2023
We were just married on December 29, 2023 and DJ Black Wizard was the best DJ we could ask for. He worked with us and talked us through everything up until the day of. He was always available for ideas or questions and was very open and personable. The music from ceremony to reception was absolute fire. Everyone loved the dance floor and is still talking about how great he was. We even had a cloud dance and beautiful uplighting. 10/10 recommend!

The best dj everyone loved him

A night you won’t want to end
From the start of planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a DJ. As soon as we met Dan, we knew he was the DJ for us. He was very organized and professional and took the time to understand the vibe we wanted. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was flawless. The guests said they were enjoying the music even during the cocktail hour. At the reception, Dan made announcements that made us feel special as a couple and got our guests excited. There were people that never dance that got on the dance floor. Any type of music from rock to hip hop, Dan can blend seamlessly. All the guests kept saying it was the best DJ they’ve even seen, and we agree!

Endless Fun and Dancing All Night Long
Dan was incredible to work with. He created a photo montage for our cocktail hour for free. The music at both our ceremony and reception was flawlessly timed. A Magical Wedding Experience
Dj Black Wizard is not just your ordinary DJ. He did so much other things for our wedding that made for a complete package and a wonderful experience at an affordable price. We had ceremony music, processional music, cocktail hour music, dinner music, reception party music, uplighting for reception areas, monogram reflected on the main reception wall and a cloud machine for our first dance. EVERYBODY is still reeling over our wedding it was almost a month ago now. Dj Black Wizard also created a Slideshow with our Wedding photos and an "In Memory of Section". All of his services added the finishing touches and took our wedding to the next level as far as excellence.

DJ Black Wizard (Dan) was awesome! Very responsive, professional, and friendly. His song choices matched perfectly with ours, our guests were on the dancefloor the entire time. His equipment worked great, from the speakers to the wireless mics. He offered up-lighting instead of Dancing on a Cloud, and it transformed our space so nicely, he even was switching the colors throughout the evening. DJ Black Wizard made our wedding perfect!

Loved my experience with our DJ! He was super responsive throughout the process, set up a google for us to add songs and details, checked in on us periodically throughout the months of planning, was on time courteous and engaging with our guests. 10/10 would recommend and I only wish I could afford him for all my backyard cookouts. Music was on point, and set up was seem less. The most impressive thing was that he was a full package DJ. Provide music, uplighting, monogram, cloud dance, sparklers, mics, slideshow for cocktail hour, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some on the other things. But it was a FULL package. The only thing he couldn’t do was a photo booth but even then he was able to recommend someone and handled all the arrangements with him so I didn’t have to. I was so happy I chose DJ black wizard, and I am sure you will be too!

DJ Black Wizard was amazing. He did the pre-ceremony music, ceremony music, and our wedding reception. Our goal in planning our wedding and reception was to have a celebration and a big party. D J Black was so amazing. He was the only vendor I never followed up with or called prior to my event. Yet he arrived promptly and had everything set. I could see him standing on his feet the whole time for hours. Looking all calm and not anxious a bit. Which also made me feel very relaxed. I wanted Dan for my wedding after I loved him at my best friends wedding! He is so laid back, prepared, helpful, and is fantastic with a crowd! Omg!! DJ Wizard(Dan) was amazing. My guest did not even want to eat he had them on the dance floor from the start of the reception. He was so professional I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. I had an outside wedding on 12-8 and it was cold and by the water and he sat up an extra sat up so that guest could view from inside if they didn’t want to sit in the cold. Thank you so much for making Leonard and my day so amazing. Any events I have he will always be my DJ.

Best Wedding DJ Ever!
Oh my gosh - I cannot say enough good things about Dan. From the beginning, he was willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had about a wedding DJ. He also changed dates with us twice (thanks, COVID) an was always responsive to emails. Dan let us create the base of the playlist and then he played songs that went with the playlist - all of which we loved! He definitely knows how to get a party started, keep the party going, and made everyone sad when it was time for the party to end. He also coordinated everything for the photobooth that we included in our DJ package. Dan was way more than we expected and I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a great DJ who wants to give you and your wedding guests a fantastic time!

We came across Dan via Wedding Wire and it was the best decision we made, he provided us with the best customer service and very accommodating when the pandemic hit back in March 2020.
We were finally able to have our beautiful wedding on July 23rd and man the crowd loved him.

COVID brought a lot of uncertainty and last minute changes in terms of wedding planning, but Dan was super understanding and accommodating through it all and gave us an amazing wedding experience. He kept the wedding lively and everyone dancing; we couldn’t have picked a better DJ and will use him for any future events. If you’re trying to have a good time, this is your guy!

Since the first initial contact I had with Dan he has been amazing. He responds promptly and answers any questions you have. Dan was the only vendor for my wedding day that actually checked in with us before we even got to reach out to him as the day approached, which means a lot in the hustle of everything else you have going on. Most importantly the day of the music was AMAZING, and he got the crowd moving! Literally everyone complimented how great our DJ was from all ages he was a hit with the entire wedding and so easy to work with. He made our day better than we could have imagined. I can’t recommend him enough.

DJ Black Wizard was amazing. From the start he was incredibly on the ball and responsive. He helped us create a Playlist, and structure our nontraditional wedding in a totally enjoyable way. There aren't enough words to say how amazing Dan is. Dan went above and beyond for our wedding day! We met with him a year from our wedding and mapped out certain things that we were looking for. A few months before our wedding he shared an online document where we could write songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. Everything was mapped out and just so easy to use. Dan also responded very quickly to any questions we had. The day of, he was completely flawless. He was on time and set up way before the start of the ceremony. Microphones were great, the cocktail hour was a hit, and everyone was up dancing the entire reception. He was just very well prepared and on the ball with everything. We hired DJ Black Wizard for our wedding on September 29th. He DJ'd the wedding, the cocktail hour and the reception. He was absolutely fantastic for all three! Not only was the music outstanding he had all the extras we needed as well such as ls
Lapel mics, an audio system for our vocalist and uplighting that truly transformed the space. He played every song when it was supposed to be played and even surprised us with the best ending ever by playing Melodies From Heaven at the end of the reception. Our guests formed an impromptu circle and it became one of the highlights of the night! He was incredibly responsive leading up to the wedding and made sure everything was on point for our big day. Music is everything and he definitely made the event fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend hiring him for your next event!

20th Reunion
We hired DJ Black Wizard for our 20th High School Reunion. He did a fantastic job! Music was great and he played a variety everyone could enjoy. The lighting he put up around the venue really helped create a good atmosphere. DJ Black Wizard was very affordable and he was flexible and willing to work with our budget. DJ Dan was definitely the best choice for our wedding! His responsiveness and flexibility is something to emphasize on. Upon our first meeting, Dan came prepared with sample playlists, uplighting, and monogram samples ready to show us. Having visuals of what he offers and what we might like to incorporate in our own wedding was important for us since it helped us envision of what our BIG day would look like. Moreover, my husband and I were interested in a fog machine for our first dance and Dan quickly delivered contact information and even reached out on our behalf to get a quote. Dan didn't have to go that extra mile to contact other potential vendors for us but he did anyways, no questions asked. Also, we decided to do a choreographed first dance last minute ( 2 weeks before our big day) and Dan was able to make a quick mix of what we wanted within that same day. With such a quick turnaround, we were able to practice our dance right away. Now for the day of... Dan played all of our "must play" songs, had our guests on the dance floor all night, and got a feel for the crowd and went with the flow. Even though there was a minor mix-up with announcing a few names, that is something we can easily overlook since he did a fantastic job overall which deserves praise and recognition. We received many compliments with Dj Dan and we definitely recommend him to all couples looking for the right DJ for them. We hired DJ Daniel Ridley from Wizard Entertainment and could not have been happier with our choice! Not only did his prices beat his competitors, but he also offered so much more than most! He offered set-up in three separate locations, 16 up-lighting color choices, microphones, a slideshow of our pictures, and a monogram! When we met with him for the first time, he was very down-to-earth and knowledgeable! He showed us videos of his past engagements, and also showed us how he keeps in contact with his customers to build the perfect playlist via dropbox and google docs. I loved that we could work jointly online, updating the playlist and giving feedback, and Daniel absolutely nailed it at our wedding. We loved him, and so did our guests! He played everything on our must-play list, was on time with every transition, was a perfect MC to announce us and all other wedding activities, and he stayed on pace with the wedding coordinator and really helped bring our wedding together. I was highly impressed with Daniel, and highly recommend him for any and all your DJ needs!

We had a great time with DJ Dan Ridley ! He was fantastic to work with! Everyone stayed on the dance floor the whole time; especially the children who were part of the wedding party! Our grandson (7) and great niece (8) were the ring bearer and flower girl; they stole the show along with our 85 year old Aunt! Even the workers at the Forum were singing and dancing to the music. People said that it was the most fun that they had at a wedding! Thanks for a great time!

He was phenomenal. Dan showed up on time and went above and beyond. He did all the announcements as well as help the wedding go in the right direction. We starting the wedding late so I was afraid everything wouldn't fit in but somehow the DJ made it happen with us having time to spare. We highly recommend Dan! From the first correspondence, he was thorough and very responsive, which assured us that he had everything under control. We were doing our own wedding coordination and dealing with a lot of vendors, so it was a great feeling to know that the DJ we didn't have to worry about at all. He requested our song list well in advance and let us know that he got the direction of the music and he really did have it! The reception music was an eclectic mix for our eclectic guests and he got it just riiiiight! Everyone was dancing and celebrating and we got tons of compliments on the music. Dan also provided sound for the ceremony, which was outside, and mics for the reception which was inside and the set up was bell clear and audible by all 170 guests. I've never heard sound so clear outside. And to be priced so economically also. Whoa. We will use Dan again and recommend his services to everyone. Top notch.

My husband and I really enjoyed our DJ. He was very attentive to the music that I wanted from the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception!! He offered great ideas and choices. My guests stayed on the dance floor from beginning to end. With our permission he called all of the married couples on the dance floor. There were couples married from 1 year to over 45 years up and dancing. It was great!!! He arrived at the venue early and was the last to leave. I referred a good friend to him who got married a couple of months after we did. She was pleased as well.

Dan was the DJ for our wedding at the American Visionary Arts Museum. Despite Dan's services being very reasonably priced, he brings top notch gear and does a great job. He had us select a number of songs to be indicative of the mood we were trying to achieve, and he filled out the rest of the playlist. He did a great job of matching the vibe regardless of our diverse array of choices, and kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night. We had some unscheduled toasts and blessings, and he was quickly able to accommodate them. Whatever minor hiccups may have occurred were not hindrances to the night in general. I highly recommend Dan as a great DJ!

I recommend dj black wizard because he was organized, responsive, and flexible. He sent us a detailed spread sheet of songs we would like to be played and he mixed them very well.

So Glad you sent me the floorplan the venue had me setup in in the wrong location but we were able to work it out. Glad i was able to create the mix for the special Father Daughter Dance. Great Wedding DJ
Dj Black Wizard is friendly and will cater to all your needs. He is professional and made sure everything was set up perfectly. Even when there were minor hiccups he made it flow smoothly.
