A mutual friend recommended Binh to me when I was searching for DJs back in the early days of wedding planning, and I will forever be thankful that she did. Binh was not only extremely professional, kind, attentive, organized, and responsive during the entire planning process, but he DJ'ed my ceremony, dinner, and reception flawlessly. He kept the music going through seamless mixing and transitions and chose the perfect music to go along with the songs that I'd given him. He provided the exact atmosphere that I was hoping for—maybe even better—and so many guests complimented me on the music selection and noted how they had never wanted to stay on the dance floor so badly at a wedding before. He easily made the reception one of the best and most memorable parts of the night, and I know I will absolutely be requesting his services again should I ever need them for another event in the future and recommending him to everyone in need of a DJ. -

We were looking for a DJ that could give us the low key wedding reception that you might expect for a pair of 60-somethings. When our event landed in the middle of a pandemic, DJ Binh Nguyen proved to be the best choice we could have made. DJ Binh was a perfect fit for us. He was very flexible in accommodating our musical preferences for the evening and his calming voice throughout provided the perfect tone for a socially distanced event. With no dance floor due to COVID concerns, DJ Binh entertained our 34 guests after dinner by emceeing two games that kept the mood light and cheerful; just right for this festive occasion. We heard many positive comments about DJ Binh during the reception, and we would heartily recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ for their event!

Got married 4 years ago and posted the following review on the Silver Sound page. Came back to say that, 4 years later, we still talk about what an amazing job Binh did! I don’t remember what we paid him but, in hindsight, I’m sure he deserved more.

We had a great experience with Silver Sound and DJ Binh, specifically! The company was very easy to coordinate with in the beginning stages while we were booking. Before the wedding, we shared a song list with Binh and had a phone call with him to discuss what we wanted. He listened to our vision and preferences and immediately understood what we were going for. He was flexible to meet our requests, but also respectfully told us when he didn't think our ideas would work. We wanted people up dancing and partying the whole time and Binh achieved that! He played the songs we requested and added in some of his own, which fit perfectly with the genres we wanted. He mixed the songs really well so everything transitioned smoothly and there were no awkward breaks in between. We had so much fun and guests even commented afterwards that they've never before been at a wedding where so many people were dancing for so long! We highly recommend Silver Sound and DJ Binh! -

While wedding planning, I let my now husband pick our DJ. It was really important to him that we had a DJ who was also fluent in Vietnamese, so for us, that was a main selling point when we found DJ Binh. The week of the wedding, we chatted to go over song choices and the timeline of events. Since DJ Binh has done hundreds of weddings, he had great suggestions for the timing of everything. The day of, he surpassed my expectations as the emcee and DJ for our reception. He read the crowd and kept people on the dance floor, which was probably hard with what he had to work with (our diverse crowd liked a mix of rock, country, Kpop, and more). But he made it work! A DJ can really make or break your event. Everyone raved about how great DJ Binh was at our wedding! -

Emily Sent on 07/29/2018Binh did an amazing job at our wedding and made the whole night stress free for us! We told him ideas of what we wanted and he rolled with and played great music all night. Nothing cheesy all just great dance music and perfect for the entire crowd. -

Mary Sent on 05/02/2014We cannot say enough good things about DJ Bihn Nguyen. He absolutely made our big day special! Binh worked with us during the weeks leading up to the big to day to make sure that he had the right schedule, the right songs, and the correct pronunciations of everyone's name in our bridal party. He was even able to find some songs that were special to us in time for the big day. There were many hard to find latin songs that somehow he tracked down. On the day of our wedding, Binh arrived early and made the place look and sound absolutely incredible! The uplighting he provided was not only a great deal (we thought we wouldn't be able to afford it until talking to Binh), but it was very beautiful. When it came time in the evening for the bridal party entrance, he was able to wrangle our rowdy bridal party and get them lined up in the right order. Our reception was a huge success and all of our guests had a blast. We would recommend Binh to anyone for their wedding or other event. In addition to being an absolute professional and a fabulous DJ, he's super friendly and easy to work with! -

We told him songs we were dying to hear, and he made sure they were played and filled in any extra time with requests or popular songs to get the crowd up and dancing. He operated as both DJ and MC and we were more than pleased with his services. Uplighting provided an additional incentive and helped create an atmosphere that made our guests want to get up dance. All correspondence was easy and we had no issues whatsoever with this vendor. I would highly advise booking this vendor, I promise you won't regret it. Binh helped make our wedding a success and we are so thankful! -
User2214587 Sent on 07/07/2015DJ Binh was amazing. From the beginning stages of the planning process to the last song, he was a pleasure to work with. He was always available to talk and gave us a call a week a head to run through all the songs for each occasion (Ceremony, First Dance, Cake Cutting, etc.) He really kept the party going all night long and the dance floor was never empty with his song selections. He also MC'd our wedding and that really hyped up the bridal party and guests. We are 100% pleased with DJ Binh's services and would recommended him to anyone who would like a professional and experienced DJ. -

Lisa Sent on 05/19/2010I would definitely recommend Binh as a DJ for any event. He was extremely easy to work with and also very professional and polite. Though we gave him very little in terms of requests, Binh masterfully controlled the flow of the evening and made sure that the dance floor was packed throughout the event. He’s smart and has a very nice speaking voice. We’re looking forward to our neighbor’s wedding next weekend in which Binh will be Master of Ceremonies once more.
