DJ BFG DJ'd our wedding and I am not exaggerating when I say that EVERYONE was asking us who this amazing DJ was for months afterwards! Gabby kept our guests on the dance floor from start to finish with seamless transitions, endless energy, and the best tunes. Their communication was top-notch, keeping us in the loop and ensuring every detail was covered. Gabby’s music taste is impeccable—they seamlessly blended our requests with their own expert selections, creating the perfect atmosphere throughout the night. What really stood out, though, was how they could read the crowd and adjust the vibe accordingly, keeping everyone on the dance floor. I was especially impressed with the smooth transitions between songs; they were flawless and kept the energy high all night long. We had an incredible experience using Gaby for our backyard wedding with 120 guests. She was so professional from the very first call and I knew after that first conversation she was the right DJ for us. The acoustics were great during our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and everyone was on the dance floor for the majority of the reception. She played it seems like EVERY song on my request list (which was vast mind you) and kept the energy up throughout the entire evening. Never once did she play a song we hated, kept the vibes high always, and many people commented on how nice it was to have a "Real DJ" who was spinning for the event. I couldn't recommend her more for your wedding and am so happy we went with her. She really captured the sentiment we wanted for our big day! -

Our dance floor never cleared the entire night! As a couple, we love to dance–and were really looking forward to that piece of our wedding—and DJ BFG used her incredible crowd-reading skills, excellent taste in music, and seamless transitions to keep us and our guests on the dance floor the whole night. So many people came up to us both during AND after the wedding to compliment our choice of DJ. Many guests were also very appreciative of Gabby's impeccable management of audio for both our ceremony and toasts. Everyone could hear perfectly and there were zero issues. She made it so easy to focus on the moment and not worry about anything she was in control of (e.g., she perfectly handled our first dance).
After speaking with Gabby, we knew that she would be the best for our wedding—we didn’t even bother interviewing anyone else. If you want an incredible DJ, do not hesitate and work with Gabby. You and your guests will be out there all night, dancing and grooving, smiling so much your face hurts.

We cannot say enough good things about DJ BFG! Right off the bat, when we chatted on the phone, we knew Gabby was the right DJ for us. Her presence and energy was amazing to be around, she was incredibly helpful and she is just SO TALENTED and EXCELLENT at her job.
She seamlessly incorporated all our requests, her transitions were works of art. Many guests remarked how incredible the DJ was. It was so hard to leave the dance floor, even for a minute. We had also asked for a transition to a calmer vibe at the end of the night for talking and hanging by the fire, and that was done so expertly. Cannot recommend Gabby enough! -

From the very beginning we trusted Gabby to be intuitive, reliable and so incredibly skilled at what she does. Gabby was flexible, came equipped and prepared for what we needed and created an incredibly warm, fun and special atmosphere for us from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. Gabby reads the room, communicates clearly, is such a wonderful presence and was simply the best. We feel so lucky to have had her skill as our wedding DJ. And that dance floor? DJ BFG was ABSOLUTELY amazing and kept the party going alll night! She has the most incredible way of reading the room and blending all of the different genre's we requested together. I kid you not, about 10 people after our wedding reached out to get her information. She listens to your requests, provides top-notch MC services and is such a professional in the field. Amazing DJ!
Gabby was THE perfect DJ for us! We both love music and it’s very important to us, so having the right vibe on the dance floor at our wedding and throughout the day was one of our #1 concerns during the planning process. From the first phone call with Gabby, we felt confident that she would be able to get it exactly right! She instantly got what we were going for musically, keeping it true to ourselves but also needing to mix in some crowd-pleasers. On the day of, Gabby was super helpful with mics/sound systems/etc. and never missed a beat with the music throughout the day. We and the majority of our guests were on the dance floor all night! Gabby was even able to mix in some very last minute, kind of out-of-left-field requests from our parents that we had totally forgotten to tell her about without making it seem like anything was amiss. Everyone said it was the best party ever and that is mostly thanks to Gabby – we couldn’t recommend anyone better!!! -

What an amazing DJ! From our first phone call to the last song of the night, Gabby helped make this a perfect experience for our wedding at The Mount in Lenox. She listened to our wants for our ceremony music and also added her thoughts when asked. We totally trusted her when it came to the dancing portion of our wedding and she delivered! Disclaimer: my brother and sister in law also used Gabby as a DJ at their wedding and we loved Gabby so much we hired her for ours as well. Gabby is a perfect DJ because she isn’t an over the top MC and she is great at picking music that gets people going.
Gabby set up three different stations for us: the first station was in our ceremony space, the second station was outside during cocktail hour, and the third station was during our reception. She picked great songs for the crowd we had and was able to use all the songs we sent. She is absolute great and we would definitely recommend; she’s super low-key and reliable! -

My husband and I both met Gabby/DJ BFG when we lived in the Berkshires and danced the night away at many of her dance parties. When we decided to get married in Rochester, NY we did not hesitate to reach out to Gabby and hire her for our wedding. She managed pre-ceremony music, ceremony, cocktail hour, the dance party, and made MC announcements thought out the night. She played the styles of music we wanted and integrated some obscure family tradition songs and requests from the guests. It was a non stop dance party. Our guests raved and our venue coordinator commented on how professional and experienced Gabby is. She’s also a great person, period. Hire her! -

DJ Gabby made our queer dreams come true. We hopped on a zoom call before the wedding and discussed the flow. We made a spreadsheet that noted songs we wanted played, songs we did not want played, and our important songs. We also made a Spotify playlist of songs that must be played at some point throughout the evening. I was so grateful because Gabby did not mess any of this up and truly listened to our recommendations and got a vibe for the wedding and the group that we were. She played the perfect songs at the perfect times. She kept the party going and she knew when to give people a rest. We 100% recommend her. Could not imagine our wedding with another DJ! Thank you Gabby!!! What a gift to the DJ world you are. -

We hired Gabby because everyone said she is the best in the Berkshires, and everyone was 100% right. Gabby absolutely rocked. Our dance floor was full all night long and she played such a range of music that everyone (kids to grandmothers) was dancing. She also read the crowd perfectly and played the exact right songs at the exact right moments. I cannot recommend Gabby enough and would hire her for any event. You should too! -

Okay, I'll be honest, our wedding went pretty much flawlessly. The venue was perfect. The food was great. All our favorite people came. The ceremony had people in tears--most of all, us. But the absolute highlight of the wedding was the fact that EVERYONE was on the dance floor having a great time for pretty much the whole night--thanks to Gabby's great music and excellent service.
Gabby was great to work with. She was responsive, thorough, and flexible the whole way. We talked to her when we booked her and she told us to make a Spotify playlist and every time we heard a song we thought we might want at the wedding over the next six months, to just add it there. Then we sent that to her, plus some general thoughts about what we wanted, two weeks before and did a video call with her to work out the details. She was super responsive and her thoroughness and professionalism put us at ease--a hard thing to do a week before a wedding!
Come wedding night, she was amazing. She hadn't played our venue before, but she was thorough setting up the mics for the ceremony and speeches and so the acoustics were perfect. She did an awesome job with our introduction and first dance and setting up the speeches. After that, she didn't talk too much (except the things we had requested) and instead just played GREAT music all night that got people up and dancing. She also is really good at transitions and mixing between songs that get people pumped. (You can tell she's a dance floor DJ as well as a wedding DJ--it shows.)
After the wedding we have gotten a lot of compliments, but the #1 compliment was about the music and overall fun and lively vibe of our wedding, And I really credit Gabby greatly for that. If you can book her, you definitely should! Other than choosing to marry each other, this was probably the best wedding-related choice we made.

Shawn Sent on 12/29/2017Seriously, stop looking and book DJ BFG right now. Gabby did a phenomenal job with the music and sound at our wedding ceremony and DJing our reception, and she was a pleasure to work with from our very first phone call. Our family and friends are not all big dancers, but the dance floor was full all night, and everyone from my 4-year-old niece to my parents' college friends were getting into it. Apart from "congratulations," the most common sentiment people came up to share was "this DJ is amazing!" She takes the time to get to know your musical tastes, but also reads the crowd and always has the perfect song for the moment. For example, before the wedding we had shared our disdain for the cheesy macarena/chicken dance/electric slide genre of wedding songs, so you can imagine how we felt when - horror of horrors - our guests spontaneously started a conga line. However, Gabby threaded the needle perfectly by playing Harry Belafonte's "Shake, Senora," catering to the crowd and to our musical snobbery at the same time. We can't recommend her highly enough and will be on the lookout for events she's working when we come to the Berkshires in the future!

He was easy to work with, and went the extra mile in regards to making our wedding a reflection of of us. The dance floor was constantly packed, and have been told by more than a few guests that our wedding was the most fun wedding they've been to. Gabe, thank you for all your hard work! We highly recommend you to any and all future Berkshire brides :)
