We had the pleasure of having DJ Axcess, aka Mike, DJ/emcee at our wedding, and we are so happy with how it turned out. From our very first meeting with Mike, it was clear he is professional, organized, and dependable. Mike shared great ideas for our ceremony and reception so there would be flawless transitions between events. By our second planning meeting, Mike’s positivity and can-do attitude made us feel like we weren’t just clients, but friends.
On our wedding day, DJ Axcess exceeded all of our expectations! His sound equipment was top notch, his dance floor lighting skills were brilliant, and his song selections and live mixing skills were phenomenal. Mike knew exactly how to read the energy from our crowd, and he was able to keep our party going until the very end of the night. We received multiple comments from our guests about how he was one of the best DJs they had ever heard, and we would 100% agree! The whole day/night went smoothly without any hiccups.
If you are looking for a talented DJ who is reliable, personable, and a step above all of the rest, then we highly recommend booking DJ Axcess. Our only regret is that we do not have any upcoming events for Mike to DJ! -

Mike was absolutely the MVP of our Cleveland wedding this summer. Music was the single most important thing to me for my wedding day and he took his job very seriously! My husband and I met with him several times throughout the wedding planning process and truly felt like he knew us very well heading into the day. We experienced extreme power outages across Northeast Ohio in the days leading up the the wedding (including our venue & hotel) and when I reached out to him, he remained not only calm, but positive he could throw our party no matter where or how it ended up! Thankfully the power came back on, but I have no doubt that Mike would have made it just as epic if it hadn't.
We truly had the greatest night of our lives and more than once, I looked to the people dancing next to me and said "I feel like he is inside my head!" His MC skills were perfection, his attention to detail was unmatched and I could never say enough great things about him! 1000000% recommend him for ANYTHING! -

Wow - Mike and Jomar knocked it out of the park. Mike’s attention to detail, communication, and execution is everything you need entrusting in one of your biggest days. No amount of stars I can give touches the effort, time, pivot and hustle they put into our wedding day. This team goes OVER AND ABOVE what I would have expected from our DJ team.
Multiple times throughout the night we told friends and family, holy smokes our DJ perfectly captured our vibe. The song selection, stepping in and up with details that count, fielding wild family song requests and helping us catch up when our timeline went out the door without feeling rushed.
Do yourself a favor, book DJ Axcess for your day. -

Best DJ out there!!!
From day one, Mikes organization and planning of our meetings leading up to the wedding gave us so much confidence in his professionalism and business.
My husband and I really don’t have a music style but Mike asked all of the right questions to help us land exactly where we needed to. And not to mention how much he helped with the actual timeline and flow of our evening from all of his wedding experience.
I have been to a couple weddings since ours with guests who attended ours… and every time i have been stopped on the dance floor to say the music sucks but that it would be hard to compare to DJ Axcess!!! And they are totally right, he was absolutely incredible.
Thank you for making our night one we won’t forget, and one our friends and family won’t forget. -

Working with Mike was the best experience for my husband and I! He is extremely professional, personable, fun to work with and has top of the line equipment. We are big into the EDM/Dance music genre and he made our wedding feel like a show. Additionally, he has a great presence for MCing the wedding from start to finish. He made sure guests were seated and where they needed to be through the ceremony. He even let my husband have some time to DJ, which was so special and unforgetable for both of us. Would recommend Mike 1000 times over. -

I can’t overstate how great the experience was with DJ Axcess. Mike was our first DJ meeting and we knew right away we didn’t have to meet with anyone else. When all the other stresses of wedding planning were up in the air, we knew Mike was our rock and had no doubt he would execute our music vision. We had three planning meetings and he asked great questions and provided excellent advice that made the music easy on us. We had high expectations and they were more than exceeded. Nobody left the dance floor all night and people were sprinting to get drinks to make sure they didn’t miss a song. We considered the music the most important part of our wedding and it was beyond our wildest dreams. Booking DJ Axcess for your wedding is a no brainer to take your event to the next level. -

I hired DJ Axcess (Mike) for my wedding in August 2023. If you're on the hunt for a DJ, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire him. He is truly a professional in every sense. His communication is top tier, and truly relieves so much stress in the wedding planning process. We had around 3 zoom meetings between hiring and day of the wedding, and felt extremely confident leading up to the wedding that he knew our vision. Day of he arrived promptly, and was amazing at keeping the timeline on track without being overbearing. Most importantly, the MUSIC. WOW. He took our vision and amplified it 100x. Our dance floor was packed all night and we are still getting compliments that it was one of the best wedding DJs our guests have encountered. Seriously I could go on and on but the TLDR: HIRE DJ AXCESS. -

TL;DR - if you’re considering Mike as your DJ: I promise you won’t regret it and you’ll be ecstatic you did. My wife and I’s wedding was two months back, and to this day having Mike at our wedding was a major highlight. We got so many compliments (during and after the wedding).
Long version. We were pretty undecided on choosing a DJ. A lot of other things competing in the budget and there’s a big range of budget DJ’s vs….the better ones. After a few weddings as guests (empty dance floors, not paying attention to what the guests enjoy) you really get an idea on how important a good DJ is to the wedding. It’s definitely make or break to the vibe of your wedding.
We came across Mike, saw the reviews, and after 30+ minutes of conversation, him asking all the right questions (those that we didn’t even know would be important to be asked) and really just getting to know him — we were all in on having Mike as our DJ.
Over the following year and a half leading up to our wedding, we had 3 zoom calls where Mike got a feel for what music to play, what vibe we were looking for, and all the logistical things that come along for the day of. Mike listened to EVERYTHING, and what we really appreciated in particular is he gave some solid direction when we didn’t know what to to decide on. We only gave Mike ~10 songs we wanted to play because beyond that, we just trusted Mike to run with it.
Day of the wedding: he ran the whole show without missing a beat (pun). He did so without making the reception about him. He let people know when speeches were about to happen, coordinated with my brothers’ best men speech antics, listened to our guests’ requests (not demands) and really had the dance floor going all night long. He didn’t just press play — he was engaged with the vibe of all of us all night long. Considerate and passionate about what he does. I can go on and on.

I interviewed 7 DJs before hiring Mike! Mike was the only one who was passionate about music and won't just play the list you sent him and has mixes to show his past work! (Most DJs won't provide any mixes or videos which is concerning) He will read the crowd, and make sure everyone dances! He studies what is played in Miami and Berlin (If you know music that's where the best DJs live or go). My crowd of guests was international, and everyone had a wonderful time (Latinos, Mid-Western American , French, New Yorkers, etc..) all ages considered. Knowing that my family from France would attend, he made a special note to welcome them which was unexpected but very much appreciated! During our session prior to the event, he got to know us and knew how to "block" song requests from guests that didn't meet our style. I would highly recommend Mike aka DJ Axcess for any event where you want to dance the night away! -

Working with Mike was hands down probably the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Mike is SO incredibly talented and just exceptionally good at what he does. From Day 1, Mike was a complete and total professional. My husband and I had several calls with Mike leading up to our wedding day (which included needing to postpone due to Covid) and we had a ton of time to get to know each other and set the tone for the reception. Mike really went above and beyond to understand our preferences, our style, and how we wanted the reception to flow. We felt so confident walking into our reception knowing that Mike was at the helm. And boy did he not disappoint. Our dance floor was PACKED - Mike played hit after hit and read the room perfectly. I think our guests probably danced for 4 hours straight without pause. The time on the dance floor was honestly something we will never forget - the first thing I did when I woke up the next day was send Mike an email thanking him. I'm not kidding when I say that our guests are STILL talking about how good our DJ was (5 months later) and whether he'd be open to traveling around the US for other weddings - he's that good. We really can't recommend Mike enough and are so, so grateful that he was a part of our wedding day. Mike - you're the best!! -

This will be the best thing you book for your entire wedding!
Mike Salone (aka DJ Axcess) is the best wedding DJ you could ever book. No exaggeration, this is the best choice you will make for your entire wedding. I don’t know where to start. First, Mike does at least 3 planning sessions (equipped with Goggle Doc) to make sure he has a clear vision of what the bride and groom want for their wedding. Then, he stays absolutely true to that vision. He’s not afraid to tell guests no to their crazy requests if it’s not what the bride and groom want. He had our guests dancing the entire night. My favorite part is the way he mixes one song into the next (like a true DJ). It allowed us to hear more of our favorite songs throughout the night and the quick transitions kept our guests on the dance floor. Not to mention he got our guests hyped for our entrances, speeches, Limoncello shot, and surprise performance by my brother in law. It made the evening from start to finish so exciting for all. Bottom line, Mike is the best DJ ever, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone wanting to have a perfect wedding. -

Mike performed at our wedding on 6/22/19. He was the highlight of the night. His professionalism and care for each couple leading up to the big day is unparalleled. He tailors his music to exactly what you want and will make sure everything is exactly how YOU want it. His music kept the crowd on the dancefloor for 3 straight hours and it was awesome. You will regret NOT booking Mike for your wedding or event. -

Michelle Sent on 11/20/2016My fiance and I were unsure of who to book for our wedding DJ based on reviews without seeing he/she actually playing. So when we heard Mike DJ at a friend's wedding, I knew he was AMAZING and we decided to book him. We had total confidence that he would deliver. Our wedding stressed us out because it was multi-cultural and with a variety of people of all ages and hard to pronounce names. Mike traveled down to Cincinnati, was on time to set up, changed into a nice outfit, pronounced all the names correctly, and completely blew us away (not surprised). Even our aunt said she liked him and she does not seem to be the type of person that really cares about music. The icing on the cake was when he played Carmen Ohio and joined us on the dance floor at the end of the night. We have such great memories of everyone having a total blast at our wedding day. We recommend him! In fact, one of our friends just decided they will book him for their wedding next year so we are looking forward to seeing him again. -

As my now wife and I were beginning to plan our wedding, one of the most important things for the reception was having a great DJ. We had been to a ton of weddings where the night was not as enjoyable due to a lack of fun on the dance floor. So when we looked for a DJ we needed someone who really could keep the energy up at the wedding. We were lucky enough to be introduced to Mike and he delivered more than we could’ve even anticipated. There were so many people coming up to me after the reception telling me that this was the most fun they have ever had at a reception and he was the best DJ they had ever seen!
Not only is Mike a great person and made the entire process for us as easy as it could be, he is truthfully the best DJ I’ve ever seen at a wedding. His ability to keep the crowd moving and mix in anything that we wanted was incredible. There were multiple times in the night when me or my wife would request a song that we were feeling in the moment and he would work it in seamlessly.
We strongly recommend hiring Mike you will not regret it. From the planning, the organization at the ceremony, and the actual music it doesn’t get better than Mike!
