I was a little nervous approaching our wedding because we hadn't talked to DJ Yates on the phone or had an in-depth conversation with him about what we were looking for. We did fill out the questionnaire that he had sent us prior though, which was very detailed. On the day of the wedding, everything. went. GREAT. Walking down the aisle, the music was crystal clear and it was like a movie. He did ready to go and did AWESOME with each song for the recessional, for the bridal party entrance (we had chosen a different song PER couple that entered, and changed them repeatedly before the wedding started) and DJ Yates was a trouper and just went with it and got all the songs perfectly. Everyone loved the music, especially us. He got the exact vibe we were going for. My family doesn't dance, but he got everyone moving, even my dad who has never ever danced before! We even spent some time chatting with him after the wedding when he was packing up and a tear came down his cheek as he talked about all the weddings he's done. We also got to meet his dad who helps him at every wedding, Poppa Yates! We loved working wtih him! -

DJ Andrew Yates did such an amazing job at our wedding. We hired him for our ceremony music and to DJ for our reception. The music was perfectly on point for the ceremony and he knew exactly what to play during the reception to get everyone to dance the entire evening. Our wedding was perfect and he definitely had a part in making it that! -

He was the first vendor I booked, and I’m so glad I found him. I actually never talked to another DJ, I just had such a great feeling from our intro call. He’s easy to talk to, and I was so excited to see everything come together.
I got the top package, which included custom monograms. It looked GREAT on the dance floor. And we had so much fun out there. And Andrew is such a nice guy on top of that! Great day, highly recommend using him. -

Andrew did an awesome job as the MC and DJ for my wedding, which was an outdoor ceremony and reception on an overcast rainy day in May! He was prepared and adjusted to the weather in style! Even though he could not set out all the lighting he wanted to use due to the weather, we did not notice anything lacking. The lighting was still cool, the music was awesome and his upbeat personality, great voice, and adjustments to last minute announcement requests were perfect! He implemented the songs we wanted and sent him ahead of time and he also played our guests requests. We were very pleased and were glad we chose him as our DJ/MC. He was fun, punctual, thorough and so easy to work with. You will not be disappointed! Choose Andrew!!! We would choose to use him again! -

He brought in up lights and totally changed our venue (for the better) He played everything we wanted and everything we didn't know we wanted. He got a feel of who we are in just two meetings. Andrew is really great at what he does! The night would not have been the same without him! -

We met with him once before the ceremony and sent him a few emails back and forth before as well, and without him our big day would not have been such a blast! We loved that he really listened to what both of us were looking for in wedding music, but also for the reception he got a feel for what all the guests were jamming to and went with that. He was easy to work with, adapted some song choices on the fly, and made the party amazing. Thanks Andrew!

User2302674 Sent on 09/06/2015He is amazing to work with! Nicest guy, helpful, etc. He provided some extra lighting for the dance floor. We met up a few times prior to the ceremony to get everything in order. We had 2 songs for our first dance that he mashed up into one and I loved it!!! He was also my Mc for the night. Ceremony, he timed everything perfect. I can't say enough about him! Highly highly recommend him!!!!
