Most fun I've ever had

Having Andrew as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. He was phenomenal from planning to the night of the event. We chatted multiple times to ensure that our playlist for the wedding was perfect and he showed out for the wedding. He was professional and ensured that sound for the ceremony was perfect and then led a blast of a reception. Our songs were mix of old, new, and hindi; all of which he handled expertly. We had people on the dance floor all night long and everyone has told us how much fun our wedding was afterwards. Andrew played a huge role in making that happen.

Excellent - Andrew is the best!

Andrew DJed our small August 2020 wedding and did a phenomenal job on that day, but more than that, Andrew was instrumental in planning our event with lots of changing plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even before we had to consider downsizing our reception and other restrictions, Andrew's thoughtful questions helped us plan things like toasts, dances, and ceremony music choices. Once we had to make some significant changes to our wedding, Andrew took the initiative to talk through how to keep a very small reception both safe AND high-energy. He is committed to the health and safety of wedding guests, communicates reminders about mask-wearing and other precautions, all while playing outstanding music and keeping the dance floor going even with a very small number of guests.

Andrew is a wonderful listener and immediately understood the vibe we were going for, and got on the phone with us 3-4 times in advance of the wedding to discuss our changing plans. His enthusiasm, calm demeanor, and thoughtful planning input make him the best possible choice for wedding entertainment. We look forward to working with him again when we throw a bigger party in the future!

The Only DJ For Us

My partner and I are very no frills people when it came to our wedding. Andrew was the first DJ we spoke with and we immediately booked him. Andrew is professional and easy going, and does everything he can to make sure you are comfortable, excited, and fully in control with his experienced guidance. My partner and I had a long period during the stay at home orders when we didn't think we could go through with our wedding but once we committed, Andrew was *literally* ready to rock. Between my partner and myself, I took on the role of being very musically involved and Andrew brought all my (our) dreams come true in this sense! His questionnaire is detailed and our phone call the week before the big day covered all the finer aspects (name pronunciation, what he should wear to match/blend in, etc). With all that was going on, we were very confident in Andrew's work and he pulled through for us - especially with some day of timeline changes. If you're looking for your wedding DJ, you've found him!!

Small details and great tunes w/Andrew!

From start to finish, Andrew was extremely professional and easy to work with. Let’s be honest: the market for DJs is saturated with "professionals" who hog the microphone and fill your night with sappy jokes, uncomfortable innuendos, or just play really bad music. We did not have to worry about either of these potential pitfalls once we hired Andrew. He was present, but not overpowering; he does other work in the sound/audio space by day, which makes him beyond qualified to DJ. And his playlist had even our older guests on the dance floor during the night!

After a quick phone call and deposit (very competitive pricing!), we didn’t really do much work with Andrew until about a month out from the wedding. We pulled together a list of must plays—and absolute do not plays—and shared them with Andrew. This was all done on a Google Form, which is very convenient, no special software or an app needed. A few weeks prior to our wedding, we had a Skype call to walk through our timeline for the ceremony and reception. Andrew has *excellent* guidance about how things should flow, and ways to really maximize on the good energy of your wedding—we took all of his advice. (And I do not doubt that our reception was better because we took his advice!)

One of my favorite parts of working with Andrew were the small details. I didn’t notice this until after our wedding—and upon receipt of photos from friends—but Andrew physically removed himself from the DJ table so he wouldn’t be in the background photo-bombing during our first dance or the parents dance. All of the equipment he uses has uplighting and covers, which many other companies will offer to you after you sign a contract and for additional $$$. If you pay for Andrew to provide sound for the ceremony, he won’t slap on additional costs for microphones so that your guests can hear your vows. Throughout the night, he was communicative with us as a couple and in order to keep everything on schedule. We had an absolute blast on the dance floor, and we know our guests did too. Andrew was hands down the best vendor we used for our wedding! He was super accommodating to work with and
listened to exactly what we wanted for our desired songs while also making sure everyone was dancing the entire time. He personally set food from our buffet and drinks at our table, knowing how hard that is for the bride and groom to accomplish that themselves, leaving us time to socialize with our guests. He helped my reception run so smoothly without being overbearing with his presence like I’ve seen DJs do in the past. Everyone at the wedding absolutely loved him. No need to look any further for your DJ! Hire him!!

Easiest decision for your wedding: Booking DJ Logan

DJ Andrew Logan was the best, easiest, and most professional vendor for my summer wedding, period. From the very beginning, I always felt like Andrew wanted to know about the guests, vibe of the wedding, and more about us than just requesting a playlist. He was incredibly thorough in our phone calls before the wedding - he wanted to know the ins and outs of the layout, and even made special arrangements with our speakers in our reception space so our older guests wouldn't get their ears blasted :) His setup was beautiful, his script was great, and his online forms for wedding party details and preferred songs is so easy to use - and impressively detailed! We had a tough crowd for music at our wedding (we had ages 2yo - 80+ represented) and EVERYONE was on the dance floor at some point in the night. Even after the wedding, everyone has been telling us how great our DJ was. Wonderful, Professional and Great Song Choice!

We were initially planning to use a playlist for our reception, but a few months prior to our wedding we decided to hire Andrew. One of the best decisions we made!! I received so many compliments about how he kept our guests on the dance floor all night. His song choice was perfect! People danced all night. He also helped with the timeline and flow of the entire day. He was on top of many details we never would have thought of. He was so personable and easy to work with. Perfection!!

We could not have asked for a better DJ!! Andrew did an incredible job with our guests and turned our wedding into a killer dance floor party! Every step of the way, Andrew was attentive and responsive to our song selections, and timelines. His awesome personality showed through, but was not overwhelming! The music fade outs and transitions were perfect! He felt the crowd and chose songs that would keep the party going! Went off without a hitch and we would choose him again 100 times over!

Fun, professional, capable, experienced - Andrew is the best!

Andrew is great! He's easy to work with, willing to tailor the experience to our vision, and able to provide guidance about things we didn't know. He is fun but professional. And if you're looking for a DJ who is comfortable using a microphone to make announcements but doesn't spend half the night cheesing it up, doing karaoke with your guests, and generally being a attention-monger, Andrew is your guy. 10/10 Would Hire Again!

If my husband and I could give Andrew more stars we would! He was, by far, one of the best vendors we hired. ( I wish we had another event to hire him again!) Since the beginning he was so flexible and accommodating to us! He helped us pick some great songs and lay out our time line in a way that made our wedding flow and make sense. Not only was he an AMAZING DJ and MC, but he went out of his way to make sure that every one was having a good time, and even grabbed us a drink at the bar so we could eat. He also took some really cool Polaroids during our send off !! (definitely one of my favorite pictures) Andrew was really great and we loved having him with us at our wedding. DJ Logan did a great job!! He kept our Wedding flowing smoothly and helped keep us true to our timeline. We would highly recommend Andrew for your wedding DJ/MC needs! Before our wedding, Andrew was very communicative and was able to give us great suggestions on our the flow of our reception based on his experience at our venue, Woodend Sanctuary. On our wedding day, heavy rain was in the forecast, so we had to prepare our plan B for our outdoor ceremony in our venue's tent. Because we were utilizing Andrew's uplights for our reception, he offered to come early to ensure that we would have a beautifully lit tent for our ceremony even though we hired a separate musician for our ceremony/cocktail hour. Although we ended up getting the outdoor ceremony we wanted, we thought this was very telling of how committed Andrew is to his clients! We were so grateful! The uplights were a great value and made our reception space look amazing--Andrew even helped us pick out the lighting colors based on our wedding's color palette. Andrew also did a great job as the MC for our wedding, and was able to seamlessly weave in all of our "must-play" songs. He even got some of our guests, who we've never seen out on the dance-floor before at weddings, to dance! Thanks, Andrew!

He was a lifesaver. He knew exactly when to play what songs and was completely receptive to people's song requests. He edited our first dance song to make it fit better with the timing of the events of the evening and did it so well.

Andrew was a PHENOMENAL DJ/master of ceremony/calm-bringer/problem-solver. We threw a lot his way - weird song requests, eclectic tastes in music that aren't exactly 'wedding-y,' a crazy mom, strict no-play list - and Andrew handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude. When we forgot about things, Andrew was there with a solution. There was not a moment during the entire reception where the dance floor wasn't packed. His ability to read the room is incredible! Andrew was amazing!! I was hesitant about hiring a DJ as I had always planned on having a band at my wedding but due to the layout of my venue I felt it was best to go with a DJ. Andrew was, without a doubt, the determining factor for making our wedding a blast. Technically, the first time we met was at the reception, but with our conversations and correspondence, we knew he was going to do a great job, and he nailed it. We're so glad we booked DJ Andrew Logan for our wedding earlier this month! He's amazing. He handled mics for our outdoor ceremony, and our guests say the sound quality was excellent -- even in the back rows. This is easier said than done for a hillside ceremony with more than 160 guests, so we appreciate Andrew's skills! He was also a seamless MC at our reception. Most importantly, he got the party started after dinner. The dance floor was packed all night!

We hired Andrew as a DJ for our wedding reception in downtown DC. Working with him was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Andrew took the time to get to know us and understand what we wanted on the day, but he also provided incredible guidance on things we hadn’t even thought of, as part of the planning process. Andrew provided flawless AV for our wedding ceremony, as well as lighting for our reception venue. It looked spectacular! Andrew was open to everything we wanted on our playlist, but he also knew how to pace the reception, and added in his own complimenting selections. My husband and I are beyond happy we went with Andrew to DJ and MC our wedding. He was very easy to work with during our planning stage, and he was very organized and everything seemed pretty straightforward-- something I really appreciated, having planned our wedding myself and having little idea what to expect. Being a one-man-show, everything on his part turned out flawless at our wedding-- despite us having to completely adjust to our timeline being pushed back almost an hour due to unforeseen circumstances on our end. He was totally flexible-- he remained patient and professional and the show went on without a hitch. He even came to check up on us several times to give gentle reminders with a warm smile (I'm so sorry, I admit I was out of it at times!). He did an amazing job MCing as well and moving guests around from the ceremony to the reception, and getting them ready for our mock exit photo op. He also accommodated to our song requests and played a good music selection. I can tell he has really great taste in music. Andrew is hands down one of the reasons our wedding was a success, and words can't even begin to express how grateful we are. Andrew offers amazing value for his services-- much more than I expected, and I'd recommend him without hesitation, over and over to my friends and family. As a music lover myself, I was in search of a DJ who was open to steering away from mainstream wedding music, could execute on my vision and would throw a killer dance party. Andrew delivered on all of that and more! From day one, he made it incredibly easy to visualize the sequence of events and collaborate through Spotify, and his attention to detail and polished delivery on the big day ensured that all the cues, intros and transitions went off without a hitch. He was discreet when he needed to be and engaged our guests when appropriate. Above and beyond his DJ responsibilities, he worked seamlessly alongside our day-of coordinator to ensure the timeline of events stayed on track. We absolutely would recommend Andrew as a DJ for your wedding! He knew the exact right music to play at the exact right time. He's very responsive to emails and helped guide us through the process. I cannot recommend him enough!

Andrew was a great pick for our wedding! I decided to contact him because I was having a winter wedding and I saw a review talking about how he showed up super early during a snow storm to help other vendors. We didn't end up having snow, but I was very glad to have such a professional to work with throughout the process. He was always on time for our appointments and responsive to emails; did his research about the venue; and provided up-lights exactly as we discussed. I'm not much of an expert on music, so I relied heavily on Andrew's expertise. He put together a great playlist that included our old-school country-music must haves, while also incorporating more popular music for our guests. And because he's a professional sound engineer, the sound quality and volume of the music was great all night. Finally, his price was exceptionally reasonable for the D.C. area. I'd definitely recommend him to other brides!

Andrew Logan is fantastic. He was extremely responsive, organized, and flexible. We wanted music that worked for a multigenerational group with extremely diverse tastes and he delivered. Even my mom, who spent the better part of 8 months pouting about not having a band, raved about him. Also, at one point in the night, a few of my very drunk friends told me they'd tried to get the DJ to play the chicken dance, but he said it was on the do not play list. I had not thought to put this on the do not play list because from my 2 conversations with Andrew I determined he wasn't a sociopath, and appreciated him doing me that solid and not allowing the drunkest of the guests to commandeer the music selection with over an hour to go in the party.

DJ Andrew Logan was not only a phenomenal DJ, but a serious team player as a vendor. He was flexible with our timeline and helped with pieces of our wedding day that most definitely did not fall within his job responsibilities (i.e., moving chairs, managing lights, lending a coat). We are so glad we hired him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a fabulous professional DJ in the DC area!

Andrew was a pleasure to work with and exceeded our expectations. He made our wedding reception flawless and fun. Andrew and I spoke about a week before my wedding to finalize the timeline of the reception. He's very knowledgable and made recommendations that made the evening flow very well but he was also flexible to the things that I wanted. I was concerned about keeping all of our guests entertained because we had a very diverse group with ages ranging from 15 to 75, plus several of our guests were Greek. I had sent Andrew a few Greek songs to play throughout the night that he worked in beautifully between other songs. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and several of our guests commented that it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to! Andrew directed the flow of the evening and paid very close attention to everything going on and switched gears, as needed. I highly recommend.

Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our initial meeting through the followup discussions leading to the event date to the amazing job he did during the reception, everything was perfect. What I most enjoyed about working with Andrew is that he truly cares about what we wanted and didn't push any set agenda on us.

On the day of, he was already setup and greeting guests as they entered the reception, getting them ready for the wedding party entrances. He was able to get the guests attention with his clear announcements throughout the night. His music selections were great and kept a good flow which helped keep the dance floor packed. He was on point with the first/father-daughter/mother-son dances.

I would highly recommend Andrew as a wedding DJ to anyone. He really helped make the night so much more special.

Andrew is awesome. We didnt have a highly planned ceremony and reception, but Andrew made it seem like we actually knew what we were doing. He made sure the flow of the evening worked from welcoming through the last dance. He is good at reading the crowd and making sure the music keeps everyone on the dance floor. He's also super easy to work with. Highly recommend him.

Andrew Logan was an absolute JOY to work with. He was professional, fun, attentive, and a great DJ for our wedding. His uplighting was spectacular, cake display lighting was beautiful, and his equipment was top notch. From the first time we spoke to Andrew through the last song he played at our wedding, Andrew was nothing short of awesome. He offered advice for the timeline of our reception, was super flexible when it came to adding an additional site on our venue where we needed music, and made everything happen so seamlessly (and discreetly) on the day of our wedding. He offers a questionnaire for couples to complete which has a section for "must play" songs, so it was good to make sure we heard the handful of songs we knew we wanted, but without much other direction, he kept the dance floor packed and the party going by playing awesome music the whole time. Also worked well with our coordinator and the catering staff to ensure that messages were relayed over the mic when they needed to be, but was not the least bit intrusive otherwise. All in all, an awesome experience and we would recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a DJ and an all-around cool dude to manage the music at their event. Amazing job!

Simply amazing. Could not have asked for a better DJ. Andrew was great to work with through the entire process and during the wedding he got things started and kept it going all night. Everyone raved about how good the music was and his mixed of genres had guests of all ages dancing all night. I've never been to a wedding that had as many people consistently on the dance floor all night as there was at ours! Hiring Andrew to DJ was a great decision.

When I first met him many months before our wedding to talk about his services, he was very responsive, polite, and professional. He seemed fun and like he could get the party started, but also that he was responsible and reliable to get the job done. We decided to hire him for our ceremony music as well as our cocktails and reception. He was very helpful during the planning process, always professional, helpful, and responsive when I had questions or needed his thoughts on something.

On our wedding day, everything went together perfectly. Andrew is a great balance of an emcee - he maintains crowd flow and energy, but he doesn't talk on the microphone all night. He felt the preferences of our crowd and catered to our tastes, their tastes, and the mood of the night. EVERYONE complimented the job he did and had a great time.

We were honestly so happy with all of our vendors, but even with such phenomenal vendors, I can say that Andrew was one of our best decisions.

In a word, Andrew was AWESOME. He read the crowd, he made great recommendations, he played music for the older guests and the younger guests and everything in between, and he was super nice. And, the icing on the cake is that Andrew's rates are super reasonable. We loved working with Andrew and would recommend him to anyone getting married in the DC/VA/MD area!! Best DJ! :)

After meeting with Andrew for the first time, we instantly knew that he would create a fun atmosphere on our wedding day! He is truly a professional. He gave us good recommendations while listening to our requests. We wanted our DJ to create a relaxed vibe during the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and have fun dance songs during the reception. DJ Andrew Logan is absolutely the best! He met and exceeded every expectation we had. Andrew was our DJ for our wedding at the Josephine Butler Center in October 2015. From our initial meeting with him, he was receptive, friendly, and very professional. While getting ready for the wedding he was very attentive and responsive when we reached out to him; and at the same time he was able to pick up what we wanted without needing a lot of guidance.

He managed the wedding very well by seamlessly transitioning from one song to another and was able to get everyone on the dance floor while not being overbearing. Andrew was the perfect DJ; he kept the party going while not attracting attention to himself. Many of our guests complimented us about how great the music was and how much fun they had! Selecting him as our DJ was the best wedding decision we made. I highly recommend hiring him for your big day.

I couldn't be happier with the incredible job Andrew did at our wedding! Surprisingly, we found that finding the right DJ/MC was one of the harder parts of wedding planning, and we were thrilled when we met Andrew. He went above and beyond for us, from traveling out to our venue with us to get an idea of speaker placement, etc... to sending personalized thank you notes. After a casual/romantic cocktail hour and dinner, we wanted a dance party during the reception, and Andrew played the perfect mix of songs, including all those on our "must play" list, to get and keep everyone on the dance floor. He also provided up-lighting in shades of our wedding colors. He is incredibly talented, polite and professional, and coordinated well with our other vendors. I would recommend Andrew a million times over!

Andrew Logan is the best DJ around. He DJ'ed my wedding at the Carlyle Club and he was a big hit. He likes good music and is good looking to boot! He would be great if you aren't a huge fan of "wedding" music like me, but basically will play anything you want (including typical wedding party music, if you wanted). I would highly recomment Andrew as a down to earth DJ who will put you at ease during your wedding planning process!

There are no words to express our profound gratitude to Andrew, but we'll try: we did a search on several web sites and came across Andrew's DJ services. From booking to event, Andrew has been professional, responsive, courteous, and accommodating. Andrew played exactly the music we wanted and none of what we didn't want (which is to say, he downloaded songs he may not have even had, though being a DJ I'm sure he has thousands). Andrew met with us to discuss our needs initially, then held a confirmation call prior to our event. At the actual event, Andrew ensured everything was seamless, and the crowd loved him. In addition to everything we've already mentioned, Andrew has a great presence, and the lighting he provided was suberb and made our photos all that much better. We couldn't imagine hiring anyone other than Andrew for our wedding, and will gladly recommend him from the rooftops (please note: we had no relationship with/did not know Andrew prior to booking, and, for those interested, this was for a same-sex wedding).

If I could give Andrew more stars, I would. He was a complete pleasure to work with from beginning to end and did an absolutely wonderful job as the DJ for our daughter's wedding. He was consistently professional and responsive to all of our questions/requests and gave us some great suggestions which we followed regarding uplighting and the agenda for the reception. During the reception he guided things seamlessly but without being obtrusive or the center of attention himself. He was exactly the DJ we wanted. But, the thing that really made Andrew stand out was his response to the unique weather challenges that presented themselves the day of the wedding. In short, 8 or so inches of snow fell on that day -- we were concerned that the venue or one or more of the vendors might have to cancel not to mention concerns about guests not being able to come. Andrew, on his own initiative, arrived several hours early to make sure he would be there ready to start. He then proceeded to go way beyond the DJ call of duty and pitched in to help with set up and other details when our coordinator was forced to arrive late due to the weather. In the end, everything important came together and the reception was great -- so many of our guests commented on what a great job Andrew did -- I only later learned from friends of all the extra help he gave. As my good friend who was helping before the reception said "Where did you find that DJ? He was pure gold."

We couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out! Andrew was crucial to making it a success and was a great MC and DJ. Everyone had a blast and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to.

Andrew was organized from the beginning and made sure he knew which songs we wanted to be played. He even made mixes of some of our favorites and had seamless transitions between songs. He was aware of the mood on the dance floor and played a good balance of oldies/modern and fast/slow. The best part was the end when he had our guests encircle us for the last song! It was such a magical night that we will remember forever. We highly recommend having Andrew DJ/MC your event!

DJ Andrew Logan created the BEST DANCE PARTY EVER at our wedding! Everyone was dancing - young and old. And he kept the party going all night with music for everyone to dance to. He took our requests and even created a mash up for our awesome choreographed dance. What I loved most about our event was how Andrew pulled everything together - he was a funny and friendly MC who kept the event moving in the right ways. He is the DJ you want at your wedding if you want everyone on their feet and having a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

My [now] husband and I were looking for a DJ or band to entertain at our wedding for months before our big day. We had a verbal agreement with someone whom we really liked, and he ended up backing out two weeks before wedding day.

I contacted Andrew, and within two days, we had a signed contract and he was already putting together a playlist for us with music that every one of our guests, both young and old, would enjoy.

Now that the wedding has successfully passed, we have received so many compliments from our guests about Andrew's stature in front of the large crowd, including when my husband and I hadn't thought the day's timelime through thoroughly (there were some hiccups in the number of guests we had vs. the amount of food we had bought) -- Andrew stepped up and took control to make sure everyone was happy. He also played such a wide variety of music that he had everyone on the dance floor at one point or another. We celebrated until almost midnight, and he was there the whole time. What a lifesaver.

Andrew did all of the music for our ceremony and reception and made our wedding so much fun. He is wonderful to work with and was really flexible about what we did or didn't want. He even wore clothes that went with our theme and colors! Highly recommend!!

I could not be happier that we went with DJ Andrew for our wedding. He was one of the first vendors I booked and from the very first meeting, I appreciated his low-key, flexible and knowledgeable demeanor. Music & dancing were probably the #1 priority for my husband and I and I knew with Andrew we had nothing to worry about. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we went over the timeline and Andrew provided some feedback to make the evening flow better. He definitely understood our style, was accommodating with our "must plays" and even incorporated Armenian songs for my new Armenian family. I got SO MANY compliments about the music, and the dance floor was crowded the entire night. Friends and family are still saying it's the best wedding they've ever been to. I would easily recommend Andrew to anyone!

Andrew was an excellent DJ/MC for our wedding and also provided music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He was great in the consults leading up to our wedding and at accommodating some of our specific requests in advance and on the day of. His professional and unobtrusive style was exactly what we were looking for. He was also excellent at adjusting at the last minute when we had to move indoors due to rain and on other small details. Above all Andrew played great music that fit what we wanted for our wedding and kept people on the dance floor the whole night!

Andrew was an excellent DJ! Very easy to work with, polite, friendly. Great guy. He was very helpful with song recommendations and advice on how to organize the event. Be sure to be specific about the version of the songs (like which artist) you want played and when you want your must-play list played. Overall, highly recommended just be very communicative on the details.
