The perfect DJ for the perfect wedding
I met DJ American Chris at a wedding expo and my (future) mother-in-law and I fell in love. Chris was professional, kind, fun, relatable and catered to our every need. The communication was on point, and it never felt like we had to do or say to much. He just knew what we wanted and executed it flawlessly. His wife also runs a pop up photo booth which we added on to our package. I couldn't recommend them enough! The price point was great for the Austin area and the service cannot be beat. 10/10!

Very happy with EC entertainment’s services. I love their package options so you can tailor it to fit your needs and your budget. We booked DJ American Chris, and he kept the party going all night!! He communicated right after booking and leading up to our wedding day. We added on the photo booth, and it was a huge hit!! Loved that they have that option so it’s one less vendor we had to hire separately. Hire them if you want your reception to be the best party ever!!!

DJ American Chris is a professional and someone who I would not hesitate to recommend. Seamlessly orchestrating our wedding night, DJ Chris was able to match the vibe of the party the entire time while keeping things on schedule. DJ Chris did an amazing job dj-ing at our wedding! We sent him playlists for different parts of the day as well as specific songs to play during the ceremony, cake cutting, etc. and he followed through will all of our request perfectly. Not to mention the sound quality was amazing! We also used the cold sparks & photo booth he rents which was such a nice added touch. Overall I was highly impressed with the service and my expectations were exceeded in all areas. We had 0 issues and our night would have definitely not been the same without him!!! my biggest fear was that we would end up with a DJ that completely missed the mark. the MOST important part of the whole night’s vibe is the music. And Chris exceeded our every expectation. He knew how to read the dance crowd, and kept the party going. He was very thorough and communicated throughout the planning process. I had some specific music cues throughout the day and he did them no questions asked. The package I had came with a photobooth which was a huge hit. We created our playlists on Spotify and gave him access to them. He is also willing to go traditional djing, all you need to do is give him some guidelines. My wife and I cannot put into words how amazing DJ American Chris was during our wedding. Immediately from contracting with him all the way through the night of the event, he was kind, helpful, encouraging, and kept us excited. Chris helped us get set up and walked through use of the companies phenomenal client portal, which was a life saver for us.
Come wedding night, we didn’t have to have a single thought about what Chris had going on, he was perfectly on time, all the microphones worked as they were supposed to, our guests were actively using the Photo Booth, the uplighting was awesome, and truly not many people were sitting down. We were pumped our entire wedding night to see our guests having an amazing time, and more so that Chris was 100% playing music from our hand selected playlist to fit the vibes. There was no interruptions to the party.

Take a Seat b/c This Review is a Novel
I experienced DJ American Chris’ expertise at two of my friends’ weddings before ours, and I tell you what, that guy can not only get a dance floor going, but he can keep it going ALL NIGHT LONG. We never saw a lull in dancing. We got so many compliments during and after the wedding on how fun our dance floor was, and that’s because our DJ was so incredible. We met with Chris a few months before our wedding and he gave us so many things to think about that we never would have without his tutelage. His DJ form was also so incredibly helpful, because it was so organized and detailed and had places to provide extra notes. I’ve seen weddings where the DJ was not prepared or messed up, and I now know that’s because they didn’t have Chris’ amazing professionalism and organization. So incredibly grateful for that! Then we met a couple weeks before the wedding to review our mock playlist and DJ form with Chris and he was able to give us pointers and help fill in the gaps where we were lost. And if you are ever worried about giving your DJ creative liberty to play what they think is best or something that you don’t know, you don’t have to worry if you hire DJ American Chris. We told him we completely trust him to mix songs, play different versions/remixes, and to add in whatever he thought would go well with our dance floor and what we wanted. And y’all…he KILLED it! He completely blew our expectations out of the water. We trusted him to make it all great, but WOW. We had no idea just how great he’d make it. He also catered to other specifics we wanted, like minimum slow dances and no line dances. He respects your wishes and wants your dance floor to be exactly how you want it and will tailor it the experience you want. Hire DJ American Chris!!!! You won't regret it!

Dj american chris!
I highly recommend DJ Chris for all your DJ & MC needs. We spent a year planning our wedding and booked Chris early in the process. Throughout the year he periodically checked-in and made sure any and all questions were answered. Through Chris we booked our DJ/MC services, uplighting, cold sparks, Photo Booth and all the additional details that I personally would’ve never thought of but so glad he did. His packages are detailed and have everything you need for the day in regards to entertainment. We never had any doubt about Chris and his services because he kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. It always felt like he had everything under control. I gave Chris a list of songs we wanted to hear but told him to play whatever kept the dance floor alive…. He did just that! Our dance floor was full from the start to the end of our reception. You can tell he has a lot of experience within the industry and did an amazing job. Our guests loved the Photo Booth and we absolutely loved getting a photo book full of all the photos our guests had taken throughout the night. His prices were incredible and his work was professional. The best way to describe our experience with Chris is easy, he was easy to work with and talk to which allowed us to put trust in him and spend time focusing on the rest of our planning. Which means a lot when planning a wedding. I can’t imagine a smoother experience! We owe Chris a huge thank you for making our day so special. We hope to use Chris again for future corporate and personal events. If you want an easy and smooth DJ experience, hire Chris.

Sooooo much fun!!
Dj American Chris was a blast to hire!!! Him and his wife helped make our night so special. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Chris was on top of reading the room and playing the right songs to keep people dancing! Our family can’t stop talking about how much fun they had, would 100% recommend him for your wedding!

Amazing dj
Do y’all want to party? This is your guy! Chris absolutely KILLED it! We met with Chris a few months before the wedding, and spoke on the phone days before. He went over everything thoroughly with me and made sure I had music for every part of the wedding day! I had some outlandish requests (like having different music for every bridesmaid/groomsmen couple during reception introductions) and he absolutely accommodated my every request. I want to say a huge thank you to Chris’s wife, Krystal, who was also there capturing some awesome videos! Chris did an amazing job keeping the party alive on the dance floor. If he noticed that the floor was emptying out, he would put on another song to keep everyone moving. People have told me that our reception was one of the best they’ve ever been to, and a huge part of that was Chris. You will not be disappointed with Chris!!!

DJ American Chris was Amazing!
We worked with DJ American Chris and he did such an amazing job at our wedding with music, MC, uplighting, speaker placement, and brought his photobooth team. Communication was clear and quick which led us to have full trust in Chris for making our playlist. He was also very flexible with us, even helping to keep the father-daughter dance song a secret from everyone except the Father of the Bride. We highly recommend Chris and his upbeat personality! He certainly got everyone on the dance floor.

Chris was incredible. His experience was absolutely awesome to have. Not only was he great with song choices and flexibility in his dj work. But he was so so helpful with setting up the microphone for the ceremony and was able to deal with my very stressed and panicky self. We often talk about how amazing our wedding DJ was when we're at other weddings. Loved it!

Wedding DJ
Chris and his wife did an AMAZING job at our wedding! We got all the music we wanted, and everything he chose outside of what we listed was great! I got compliments from family members about how much they liked him, and thought he did very good. His wife ran the Photo Booth on our wedding night, and also did a great job. The majority of our guests used it for photos throughout the night, and really enjoyed it. Great selection of props too! Everything from booking with him to the end of the wedding night was easy and perfect. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Attitude & Great Beats
DJ Chris was super communicative with us throughout the whole process. We had a different genre of music than a lot of weddings and he was willing to work with anything and everything. The dance floor stayed full and he listened to all of our request. The dancing on the cloud & cold sparklers were beautiful. He also set up our photo booth which was a huge hit. We used a photo guestbook and it was so much fun for all. The photobooth attendants made sure every photo ended up in the book and asked people to sign.

Great experience with Chris!!
Chris was so great throughout the whole experience! Super easy to book and communicate with! He met with us a few weeks ahead of time to clarify all details and music, which I really appreciated as a stressed bride. He helped us coordinate with our musician to make sure they were going to be able to hook up the keyboard to Chris' mixer. All of the music we gave him (on 2 playlists because I am extra) was played, and everything went really well with timing and announcements! He is definitely a lower energy DJ compared to some as far as his announcements went, but we honestly preferred that he wasn't overwhelmingly over the top. We are super happy with his work and would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding DJ!

My guests came up to us and said they love the DJ's music choices. DJ American Chris definitely made the night more fun! Also, the dancing in the cloud thingy was amazing! Our DJ, Chris, was available to talk or consult any time. He used our suggested songs and built an amazing Playlist. I loved every single song that was played and they all flowed together so well. I can’t say enough about Chris! As a bride planning a wedding, one thing I loved was quick replies and organized feedback/information. Chris was a 12/10 at both of those things. He helped me figure out exactly what was needed and what we wanted as I was pretty clueless about how to put together all of the songs for the ceremony. He made the whole process a breeze! He kept the crowd dancing and was simply so fun and great to work with the entire time! You won’t be disappointed!

DJ American Chris did a phenomenal job on our wedding day! He was very easy to work with and kept his positivity throughout the whole experience. We had trouble deciding some songs and without hesitation he found songs that worked great with our style.
I highly recommend American Chris for his hard work and great packages. We chose the biggest package which included a video highlight and photo guest book. The guestbook was a hit and we loved looking back at everyone’s photos on our honeymoon.

We loved working with Chris! From our initial consultation call he was very caring, professional and accommodating. We had to change our wedding date like many couples did in 2021 and Chris was extremely helpful. He is very responsive and patient and will craft the perfect playlist for your wedding day. Chris and his wife Krystal handled the DJ duties as well as the photo booth for my son’s May wedding and daughter’s October wedding. To say they did an excellent job would be an understatement. They were, quite frankly, one of the greatest vendors with which I have ever had the pleasure of dealing. They were so friendly and professional, responsive and delivered a perfect product for both weddings. I have two more daughters and look forward to using them again for the next two weddings. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ and photo booth. I would not use anyone else for these services. Chris and Krystal are the best!!! Higher them and he will not be disappointed.

Great DJ for our wedding!
Chris did a great job as our DJ. He gives you a detailed packet to fill out on how you want the night to go and music preferences. Quick to respond to any questions we had and was easily able to make adjustments the day of the wedding. His prices are great, one of the reasons we went with him, and he doesn’t charge by the hour. Definitely recommend him!

I honestly cannot recommend DJ American Chris enough!! My husband and I booked him for our wedding in June, and I'm so glad I did!! He was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. He was always just a phone call away, and acted with professionalism in every encounter. He timed every moment perfectly, and did an amazing job at reading the energy of the crowd and playing off of it accordingly. He was one of the easiest vendors to work with because of how well he communicates with clients. You can tell he really cares about his clients and he truly understood how important the day was for us. The day after my wedding he even sent me a highlight video of all the special moments of our day, it was so special to us and made waiting for the photographers footage much easier. Please hire him for absolutely everything!!!

Dj Chris made the entire music planning process so easy, and executed it perfectly on our day!! He was so patient and flexible in letting us pick out as many songs as we wanted to be played throughout the night, and then perfectly filled in the rest of the time with his own selections that matched the vibe of ours. We had the best time, everything went smoothly, and he gave us the wedding reception dance party of our dreams!

We were so thankful to have Chris DJ our wedding! All of our guests (including ourselves) had a blast during the reception! Chris did an amazing job with understanding our music preferences, and playing all the right songs to keep our guests on their feet all night! He was at our wedding from start to finish. He had music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. We all know the DJ can make or break a wedding celebration, and Chris absolutely made our reception so fun! DJ American Chris was top notch. From the support during the planning phase to the execution on-site, he was amazing.
Previously, we were booked with his business partner DJ English Chris, but due to COVID, we had to reschedule our reception and English Chris was unavailable. American Chris came in guns a' blazin' ready to make this the celebration of a lifetime for us. And he delivered. We only held one planning call, about a month out, to recap our song selections and timeline but we had already previously set a lot of this up with English Chris, so it was simply a run through of the details. However, we knew and felt confident that we could contact him at anytime with anything if the need were to arise.
Day of: He and his assistant, Jason, showed up at the time he promised and made sure to get everything setup and tested well in advance of the ceremony itself. He talked through certain pieces with my wife and I and made sure we were good with all of the details. He was always smiling and interacting with our guests and beyond attentive to any needs or requests we had. He would confirm with me certain things as the night would go on (song selections, requests from our guests, etc...). I would even catch him calming me down at certain times throughout the night, which was very much needed from someone who wasn't a guest at that moment.
In the end, I would recommend him to anybody needing a fun and enthusiastic DJ who seems to genuinely love his job and care about his clients. He truly felt like a friend by the end of the night.

One of the the things that led me to this deejay were all of the positive reviews to begin with, but once I read that there was no time limit on the experience I was completely shocked! Everyone else gives you a set number of hours and you have to pay for additional hours. I do not like a cap on my party time. That is super annoying and Chris even said, “Once I’m there why would I leave and cut your happiness short? I’ll go as long as you do.” For me that says he genuinely enjoys what he does and cares for his clients more than anything else. That’s huge for me! On top of that, Chris and his staff are just incredible! Thanks to Covid I had to reschedule a few times and he continued to follow me and make things very easy for me. He is very organized, asked questions I never thought to ask, was always easy to get ahold of and quick to respond, and he made sure he had the exact songs we wanted and not just versions of the songs. He also paid attention to who was in the room during our requested songs otherwise my son may have missed his requested dance song since he was often inside the house playing with other kids. He didn’t miss a beat, on ANYTHING!! I cannot do his service justice with these words...just know he is AMAZING and will not disappoint you!

Superb DJ experience
DJ Chris did a phenomenal job at my daughters wedding. He and his partner arrived early enough to get things set up. They were quick and efficient in doing both the chapel and the reception hall. My daughter chose package A and added on UpLights, monogram and video guestbook. Ask the add ons were beautiful and the video guestbook was a hit.
My daughter didn’t stick to the timeline she gave him, but he rolled with the flow and made each toast, dance, announcement seem flawless. Once the first dance was done, he did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor, even those of us with two left feet. Once her requested playlist ran out, Chris played the perfect mix of songs to keep the party going for young and old. He even had a guest singing along on the microphone.
If you’re looking for a dj, you can do no better than DJ American Chris. From his prices to his talent. We will definitely choose him for future events!

Chris was great! He was so good about getting to know the music we liked and what we didn’t want. We have a covid wedding so he was so flexible with all the last minute changes we had to make. We were a small group but he put us on the dance floor and kept us there. Chris was the perfect DJ from start to finish. He met with us via Zoom before the wedding, he was a great MC, he got all of our songs we wanted, and even was able to accommodate a last minute (literally 2 minutes before) song we wanted to play! Chris made the best of what seemed like an impossible situation
Chris went above and beyond...due to covid we had to restructure our wedding. I’m doing so our original DJ backed out. From the first conversation with Chris we got nothing but solutions to our problem and personal service we’ll beyond what a typical DJ would provide. Chris actually did our wedding remotely from houston. Our wedding was in chicago. He provided service via zoom. A stressful situation created by a chicago DJ that had nothing but excuses for keeping our deposit and not providing services during covid Was instantly resolved by Chris with nothing but a great personality, polite exchange, and constant solutions to anything that got in our way.
