DJ Alex was absolutely one of our favorite vendors. He went out of his way to perform not just the role of DJ and MC, but also honorary Day of and Week of Coordinator. He helped us with the timelines and organized us in a very hectic week when we felt very scattered. I think my favorite part of the ceremony is when one of our speakers forgot to cue in the next portion, and Alex came in as the perfectly melodic MC to get us back on track.
I haven't said a ton about his DJing, because well, it was expected to be great and it was. He has such high quality sound systems and extras and it made our party so fun. All of this he prepped us for. It was the above and beyond stuff that truly puts him in a league of is own. All of my guests remarked at the cold spark machines, the rave light tubes, and the laser show. It made our event truly feel like the high end event we hoped for. -

We hired DJ Alex for our wedding and could not be happier with our experience! From the very beginning he was incredibly easy to work with and offered very reasonable pricing, especially considering the level of professionalism and equipment he brings.
Alex came fully prepared for our venue with an amazing lighting setup and a huge, powerful sound system that made the entire night feel like a true celebration. He also acted as our MC, kept the flow of the night smooth, and followed every instruction we gave him. He even provided his own timeline template for us to fill out, which included all our special songs and made planning so much easier.
One of the coolest things he did was mix a custom track for our grand entrance, it got everyone excited and set the tone for the rest of the night. He honored every request, kept the energy high, and our guests were dancing literally until the final minute we had the venue.
We’re so grateful for everything he did to make our wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend DJ Alex! -

He was very flexible and in constant communication with us. I appreciated that he valued our concerns and tailored the experience to our unique needs. He even took requests when asked which the guests greatly appreciated. His was quality of service was excellent and very affordable! He was always very organized and highly professional leading up to and at the event. Other vendors at our wedding were even asking for his contact info so they could book or recommend him to their clients. I would highly recommend him as a DJ at any event. -

We have worked with DJ Alex several times for events involving 30 to 100 people. DJ Alex has an amazing ability to understand your needs, guide and direct you through the process, and exceed your expectations.
I appreciate his tech savviness and how he leverages it to engage with guests during the event. For example, he had bar codes shared with guests that they could use to request music, and he helped us set up and project an interactive trivia game that guests could participate in with their phones.
DJ Alex lights up every room, even with a suboptimal setting he has many different light options that can transform and upscale a party and workaround any physical obstacle.
During the event, I could trust Alex to solve any unplanned scenario to keep the event going
Above all Alex is a great person to work with, with an amazing attitude and positive vibe. -

We had Alex for our wedding and he had great equipments such as mic and lightings. He also communicated with us thoroughly to understand what we wanted for our wedding, and was able to join us to rehearsal. We gave him our song list and he was able to get all of the songs to play at our wedding, and we really appreciated that! Overall I would recommend him as wedding DJ! -

DJ Alex was very nice to work with! He agreed to be our dj on very short notice, and accommodated all of our needs with the short 2 week time crunch we gave him! He dealt very nicely with our not so nice venue owner and I only heard about it after the wedding through friends! He only gave solutions and never any issues! -

DJ Alex was fantastic to work with! We had a vision of including a VR segment in our reception, and he was super excited to work with us to figure out all of the technical details. We also wanted to include a Sing-along segment, and we were able to accomplish everything even though it was very non-standard for a wedding! On the day of, Alex managed the emcee duties while making sure all of the slideshows, music, and lights worked smoothly. We absolutely loved working with him, and he really went above and beyond to make our vision happen for our special day! -

The whole experience from beginning to end was great with Alex. He is very reasonably priced and responds quickly. He came to our rehearsal to talk things through and figure out set up and even played the music for us when we were practicing the ceremony. On the day of the wedding he was very flexible and did everything myself (bride), my wedding coordinator and photographer asked of him. It was obvious he was there to serve us and not take control of things. My coordinator and the venue supervisor was very impressed with him.
Lastly, he is also great with music selection. Music was very tough for me and I didn't have all the songs picked out for the day but Alex filled in the gaps with his recommendations. -

DJ Alex provided the sound and music for our wedding in July 2022 in Des Moines. Every part of working with him, from the initial interview to the planning to the actual event, was easy, and he was patient, professional, and flexible throughout the entire process. When we requested some music selections he didn’t already have in his library, he was able to quickly track down what we were looking for. The day of the wedding, our planner had an unexpected family emergency, and DJ Alex was able to easily adapt and coordinate with us to keep everything on schedule. At our wedding, he put on a phenomenal party with an incredible light show. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great wedding DJ.

I had the pleasure of meeting with and hiring Alex to DJ our August 2021 wedding. Working with him has been nothing but a positive experience. Alex's experience in the wedding industry was extremely beneficial to help us with not only planning the playlist, but also the timeline. He was always available via email and phone and helped ease any anxiety I had about the day with his words of wisdom and support. He was punctual, professional, kind, and fun. Overall a great experience! Alex recommended using the area under our tent as the dance floor which worked out way better than the dance floor that we were originally planning to use. Alex created a perfect mixture of songs from 2 different cultures. We enjoyed our experience and would recommend Alex for any wedding. -

DJ Alex was the star of the wedding. We held a fusion (Indian Western) wedding where our guests were expecting both types of music. We were a little nervous about not hiring a DJ with little to no experience with Bollywood music. DJ Alex quickly eased our concerns ensuring that he would take handle anything that he had to work with. He went above and beyond in scoping our the venue a few times before the event so that he could plan on how to setup (this is something very few wedding vendors do w/o charging). DJ Alex was a vendor in which we gave a basic outline of what we wanted and he handled the rest without burdening the bride/groom on anything that could have gone wrong. For example, we gave him a custom precession song in which we were hoping to have the entire wedding party walk down to. I was nervous that the the song would end while the party would still be walking down. Sure enough, DJ Alex had the foresight to take the song and seamlessly loop it specifically if we went long. Just I mention he also played an amazing set where the dance floor was never empty! He was also a bargain compared to all DJs. He was truly an MVP at our wedding! -

Many women-guests mentioned that melodies chosen for bride and groom childhood slides show made them cry.

We hired DJ Alex to work at our wedding and he did an amazing job. He helped us and gave us recommendations and his suggestions weeks prior to the event. On the day of the wedding he was the first one at the venue to set everything up and started playing background music before guests started to arrive. He was so professional and fun at the event. We had a bilingual wedding and everyone was enjoying the music and dancing at the event. I would highly recommend him! He is very easy to talk to and communicate with. But most importantly he is a fantastic DJ. -
Yuriy Sent on 01/17/2018Alex was providing music support for our wedding at Seattle Tennis Club and he definitely over-delivered on everything we discussed before the wedding. Initially we asked stuffers at www.fancyhands.com to find us a DJ for our wedding, but ended up following an advise from a friend to use Alex'es services. Looking back, we couldn't have made a better decision both financially and in terms of the value provided should we have chosen any of the DJ's that the agency recommended to us.
To be more specific, Alex was extremely tech savvy and didn't require any additional guidance on figuring everything out with the venue (this comes in very handy in the last hours before the ceremony when everyone else runs around not knowing what to do). To his honor, he could provide both microphone and music support outside on the lawn where even the venue stuff weren't sure whether their system would work with external equipment. He was very responsive to song requests from our guests and there wasn't a single song he couldn't play, which is quite a feat given that our guests were coming from 9 different countries. All in all, we would definitely be having Alex for our next party and would certainly like to recommend him for your next event!

Dmitri Sent on 01/08/2018My wife did most of the planning, but hiring DJ Alex was the best decision I made and he pretty much made the night. Everybody was dancing and having fun no matter the age. He asked us just the right questions, helped with planning, he acted as MC when needed and his Russian music selections were perfect. Even our American friends loved it. Alex, thank you so much.

Price made sense, was very clear on what was included and did not try to upsell anything that we didn't need. Made sure to check in at regular intervals and very timely in responsiveness. Only thoughts were that some songs didn't make it to the dance floor, but this is likely due to high volume of song requests on the day-of from guests. Overall, fantastic DJ and would recommend!
