  Best DJ We Could Have Hoped For!

  Alex was the most professional, courteous, kind, entertaining and over the top DJ that we could have possibly hoped for! His services made our wedding 10 times better than we had ever imagined, and I'm positive that he will do this for your event as well. This isn't a "he did a good job so let's give him a good review" review. I truly mean what I said and I can back it up with multiple examples of how Alex made our wedding go not only as smoothly as possible, but helped us organize it in a way that made sense, and made it so entertaining that everyone just couldn’t stop dancing!
  
  
  1: Alex received an odd sounding voicemail from our food vendor, and realized that something was off about it. He reached out to me and ended up settling a miscommunication that would have left us without food on our wedding day! Alex could have let the voicemail go, but he was organized enough to check his voicemail often, and also realize when something seemed amiss. Alex went above and beyond, and stopped a wedding day disaster from happening right in its tracks.
  
  
  2: Alex did such a good job at DJing, that our guests didn’t want the fun to stop! They danced the entire time we paid Alex to be there, and when it was time to go, they still wanted more! I ended up asking him to stay later for more money and he happily obliged. We understand how much extra work this is, and we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. From a vendor’s perspective, they need to arrive early for set up, stay late for tear down, and they’re working the entire wedding. It’s a whole lot to ask someone to stay another 30-60 minutes working, then they have to finish tearing down, drive home, etc. We can’t believe how above and beyond Alex went and we think it made for the most memorable night of our lives.
  
  
  3: From the day we hired Alex, he helped us organize our entire wedding timeline. Having never set up a wedding before, this was vital to the flow of our special day. He helped us understand when things normally happen, how long they’ll take, and what we should expect. This helped us get our bearings when we needed them most! Not only did he help prior to the wedding, but up until, and on the day of the wedding. When we were behind schedule on our family photos, Alex took the liberty of reaching out to us to let us know we were running behind. He was very professional, not trying to push us along or take control of the situation, but merely letting us know that we were behind, and how much we were behind. In my opinion, I don’t believe this is even in his job description, but he knew when to step in and make sure we were aware of things we should be aware of. This helped out tremendously, because the last thing you want at your wedding is hungry guests! It helped our wedding move along smoothly, and we can’t thank him enough!
  
  
  4: DJ services: We worked with alex to put together playlists of music we liked, music our guests liked, music for cocktail hour, dinner, etc. He incorporated all the songs we wanted to be incorporated. Not only that, but we practiced our wedding dance to a youtube video, that had a specific edit of a song we couldn’t find. We were able to send Alex this song, and he was able to duplicate the exact song! Whatever you need him to do, I’m positive he’ll find a way to make it work. He’s just that kind of person.
  
  
  In the end Alex isn’t just a good DJ who did a good job. Alex is an over the top, go extra mile type of person, who will make your wedding the best one it can possibly be. If you can book him, do it and you will be extremely satisfied with the work he does. If you believe he may be slightly out of your budget, book him anyways. The entertainer at your wedding is more important than you think, and they have a lot of control over how much fun the guests have! I would recommend Alex to literally any person ever, that’s having a wedding.

  Alex is amazing!

  We hired Alex for our New Year’s Eve wedding and I am so glad we did! He is fun, professional, and super easy to work with. My husband is a huge music fan so he wanted to make sure that we had a DJ who would play music at our wedding that represented us appropriately as a couple - Alex did not disappoint!
  
  I wanted to do something special for our bridal party so we actually created our own playlist for cocktail hour and dinner to include each of their first dance songs. It was such a special touch and some of them even got up to dance when they heard their song. I was really glad Alex was open to us choosing specific music during those times.
  
  At what felt like the very last minute, we added on a photobooth and audio guestbook through his other company itsLIT RI. The best decisions we made! I created my own template on Canva and sent it to Alex in lieu of one of the pre-made ones he had and it ended up printing so beautifully! I really appreciated the flexibility on literally anything. Everyone loved the photobooth so much. Every time I looked over there, there was a line! And the audio guestbook was a huge hit! We got some hilarious messages and quite a few Chinese food takeout orders (is that normal?!). I couldn’t believe how fast the turnaround time was for the digital versions of both. I think he got them to us within two days! We got to relive parts of the wedding while we were still riding the high and it was awesome. It was also super convenient to bundle the three services together rather than have separate vendors for each.
  
  In addition to DJ/ Music services, audio guest book, photobooth and all the other services Alex offers, he also has a planning organizer that is incredibly helpful to gather your thoughts. Slightly different than a timeline that you put together with your coordinator or photographer. I feel like this one gave us more of a preview/ vision of what the night would look like, maybe because there is emotion involved with the songs we chose? I don’t know, but it was great. Part of the organizer was contact information for your other vendors like photographer and coordinator. He actually reached out to them ahead of time to confirm that they were all on the same page and all had the same timeline so there was no confusion the day of. If you don’t think this is a crucial contact to have - you are so wrong! Could you imagine Beyonce’s “all the single ladies” starts playing for a bouquet toss when you are standing there for father/ daughter dance? This obviously did not happen with us because he was so prepared =).
  
  To anyone considering Alex as your DJ for any event - DO IT! Do not let that baby face fool you. He is a true, experienced professional and you will not be disappointed!

  We would recommend Alex to anyone looiking for their event DJ, especially wedding. He listened to our recommendations so the music fit our style, had the dance floor full all night, and helped keep us organized in planning and on the day of. You won't be disappointed booking Alex!

  Amazing DJ!!

  Alex is an amazing DJ!! I had no idea how much influence a DJ has throughout a wedding day- providing structure and making sure the day flows smoothly within your timeline, and Alex did a phenomenal job. He asked thoughtful questions and provided helpful insight throughout the planning process, and he took care of logistic details that I never even thought of throughout the wedding day. We had our ceremony outside on a public beach, and he provided the ceremony sound setup that we needed- ensuring that microphones were working and worn correctly, making sure the speakers were at the optimum angle so that all guests could hear, and just generally taking care of all the logistics that were necessary in creating the perfect ceremony space out of a public location. He ensured there was a smooth transition to the reception venue (located 15 minutes away from the ceremony location) and generally just made sure that the reception flowed smoothly. He kept timing on track with speeches, cake cutting, first dances, etc. and then kept the people dancing allll night long! Also the photobooth was a HUGE hit with guests. I HIGHLY recommend Alex!!! Thank you for everything :)

  DJ Alex is absolutely amazing, he works with you from beginning to end. He’s always in contact and really gives you every ounce of his attention. He is thoughtful and helps you with any difficult choices you may have. He goes above and beyond from music, to up lighting, and the Photo Booth. He found me dry ice for my dancing on the cloud, which was an amazing touch. He is considerate on price points, and will never over charge for anything. If you need a DJ for any event, trust me as a very satisfied bride that searched for months. This is the man you want running your show. My husband and I can’t thank him enough for providing us the absolute dream come true wedding.

  Look no further!!

  We hired Alex Brown for my daughter's wedding after vetting many different DJs. We cannot say enough good things! Alex was in continuous contact with us throughout the months leading up to the wedding and kept us on track. He goes above and beyond expectations. The uplighting, tower lights, lighted batons, photo booth and markee lights created a great party atmosphere. Our guests were shouting for more at midnight!! Do not look any further!! He's the bomb!!

  DJ Alex did an AMAZING job for our wedding. We had a very eclectic mix of music we wanted to play, some very specific songs for the introductions, and a surprise for the bride, all of which he helped accommodate while making sure the whole reception was a blast!   Alex DJ'd our wedding on 09/10 at Bonnet Shores. He handled the sound system on the beach for the ceremony and the reception.   A young star on the rise!

  We hired Alex as a DJ for our wedding on 8/6/2022 and he was by far one of the BEST vendor choices we made for our day! He was INCREDIBLY organized, professional, and communicative with us right from the start and throughout the entire planning process (even gave us a ton of very helpful tips about wedding planning that had nothing to do with music). There were a number of songs I had chosen that weren't exactly "mainstream" and Alex went out of his way to make sure he could get every single one of them I had asked for. From pre-ceremony to the end of the reception, Alex appropriately set the mood and kept us engaged and dancing the night away! He definitely helped make our wedding day so special and memorable, we can't recommend Alex enough!

  Alex was the best Wedding DJ ever! If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or any event, I cannot recommend Alex enough. From our initial conversation over a year before our wedding day, Alex was always professional, quick to reply, and very easy to communicate with. He made sure that every detail was carefully planned out and was always in contact with us leading up to our wedding. Alex took care of the microphones, music, and speakers for our outdoor ceremony, had a perfect cocktail hour playlist, and did an incredible job with the uplighting and music during the reception. All of our guests loved his music choices, he kept everyone entertained and dancing all night long. Alex also provided an amazing photo booth that was a hit with our guests. Everyone receives printed copies of their photos from the photo booth and the bride and groom get a digital album of every photo from their guests as an additional special memory.   Loved working with DJ Alex for our wedding. He was super professional and did our ceremony audio and full reception. He was the perfect mix of "throw back hits" and "traditional wedding songs" to keep our wide range of guests happy.   Alex was great at communicating from the beginning. He was quick to answer emails and texts and so helpful in planning the day of timeline. We added on the photo booth with prints and our guests loved it! When dinner was running a little behind Alex kept us updated on what was going on and kept the flow moving. And he definitely nailed the playlist and got our guests on the dance floor immediately with some Backstreet Boys (perfect for our age group haha).

From initial call to the wedding day Alex has been high energy, transparent, available for a chat, flexible, professional and genuine. He customized a package for us that included ceremony, cocktail hour, reception music as well as up lighting and a super cool spot light with our names on it.

  Awesome Photobooth

  We hired Alex for our photo booth and it was such a hit! I saw guests inside it all night. Alex was so easy to work with and always offered to help in anyway that he could. I so appreciated having a stress free vendor experience with Alex!

Alex stepped right in and helped us with all our DJ needs and the services he offers were great! His monthly to weekly check ins kept me on track. Everything was exactly how we imagined and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! One week after our wedding we received our monogram necklace in the mail and it had all the memories of the night dancing through my head again. We couldn’t thank Alex enough!

  Alex may have been our best vendor! He was the most diligent and helpful person we hired, and did more than just DJ our wedding. Not only did he play THE BEST MUSIC EVER, but he consistently communicated with us giving us tips throughout the entire wedding planning process. And to top it off, I found him because of his great rates. Alex went above and beyond leading up to the wedding, and knocked it out of the park the day of. We couldn't recommend him enough!!!!

  Awesome time

  Alex recently was the dj for my moms wedding on 7/31 and it was awesome. From the very beginning until the end of the night. The music was great and everyone was dancing and having a good time. So many compliments the next day saying it was one of the best weddings they had been too. Alex is an awesome kid and a great DJ. You would be crazy not to hire him for any event you have !!

  Wedding postponed

  I was suppose to get married in July however due to Covid and a health issue, I was forced to reschedule. Alex was so understanding and made everything as easy as possible. He quickly sent me a new contract to secure my new date and I was all set. It was that easy.

  We had to postpone our wedding two times and Alex stood by our side the entire time and supported us! We couldn't of asked for a better DJ for our special day.
