We absolutely loved working with Darren from Divine Creations. We had so much FUN at our wedding and I completely credit him. He kept the dance floor going all night long. He listened to the type and style of music we wanted but then also incorporated the stuff everyone wants to hear! We had the best time and our guests are still talking about it. He is going to be the DJ at my brothers wedding this year and I can't wait to dance the night away with DJ Darren Cruz! -

We hired Divine Creations Entertainment to be our wedding DJ. Darren, the owner and our DJ, was absolutely incredible. He was attentive, thoughtful, collaborative and extremely responsive throughout our planning process. We are a very musically inclined couple, and he helped us handpick our wedding soundtrack down to the smallest details. When it came to the day of our wedding, he and his assistant were early and set up all of our microphones efficiently. We had musical performances and Darren even went the extra step to run those soundchecks on our behalf. Darren was a fantastic MC and really kept the dance floor fun through the end of the night. We highly recommend Divine Creations Entertainment!!! -

I don't even know where to start with Darren. He was absolutely amazing to work with, so personable and what an awesome DJ. He knew all the right songs to play & when to play them. Everyone was in the dance floor! He was absolutely awesome to work with. I even had a vision of doing a dance mashup with my father and he mixed up the perfect music & got it to me before the wedding so we could practice. BOOK HIM NOW! He will not disappoint you! -

We found Divine Creations and DJ SmoothBee on wedding wire for our daughter's wedding. To say that they were amazing would be an understatement. First, communication throughout the process was quick and smooth. Brian helped us to navigate the process and coordinated with the caterer on site at the reception. During the evening, he kept the fun going and we were all sad that the night was ending. Absolutely amazing DJ and couldn't recommend them more. -

Wedding DJ
Darren will probably be the best choice you make for your wedding (other than the spouse)! Not only did he keep the party going and people were constantly on the dance floor, he is extremely personable. Darren felt like he was already a friend and was extremely easy and fun to work with. His mixing of music was amazing and blended together smoothly. He even accommodated us and helped with an amazing dinosaur dance! I cannot recommend Divine Creations Entertainment enough! -

Darren was absolutely amazing! He hands down made our wedding the most perfect day. Darren was so kind and responsive. From the very beginning, he cared about us and our special day. He was so organized and made sure everything went smooth and that all our requests happened. He went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect. I never realized how many tasks the DJ takes care (not just the music). Darren handled everything from mics, lighting, aisle music, first dance, speeches, literally everything. And of course our dance floor was packed the entire night. We still have guests telling us how amazing our DJ was. Darren was truly the star vendor of the night! -

Darren exceeded all expectations! We have a pretty eclectic taste in music but he was able to seamless play songs that were personal favorites of ours but also kept people dancing throughout the night. -

We hired DJ Cruz to perform at our wedding and if we had the chance to go back and choose a DJ again we would make the same decision! DJ Cruz catered to all our needs! He was professional at all times and really set the mood for our wedding reception! -

Not only is Darren a wonderful person, but he’s an awesome, one of a kind DJ! From our first interaction to the date of our wedding, Darren gave us his undivided attention and made us feel comfortable throughout the planing process. Even though we had 30 guests at our wedding, it felt as if there were 200 people in the room because no one left the dance floor!! Darren’s choice of music and his personality in general made our wedding tons of fun! Overall, Darren helped us create lasting memories and we’re so thankful!! -

Devine Creations Entertainment and DJCruz were simply amazing to work with. He was a true professional starting with our initial meeting and this continued even after the wedding. We were always impressed with how prepared he was for our meetings and phone calls. He was always more than accommodating to hop on a call to answer any questions we had and he always put us at ease when we were stressing out. His years of experience and passion for what he does is clearly evident in his work.
DJCruz played the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He also provided up lighting and a photo booth (both were great!) He did all of the introductions and perfectly announced all of the names and a few were rather challenging. He tied in all of the songs we wanted for introductions and key moments throughout the wedding.
DJCruz provided great recommendations that helped our wedding day go smooth. He held control of the party’s heartbeat and we could not be more thankful he was the person in charge.
We would 100% recommended DJCruz and Divine Creations to all of our family friends. -

The BEST decision we made for our wedding day!!!
Hiring DJ Darren Cruz and Divine Entertainment was the BEST decision we made for our wedding day!! I can’t encourage people enough to hire him! He made our special day absolutely perfect!! He has so much experience and it shows. He had all 200 of our guests on the dance floor all night long, which is exactly what we wanted!! He provided all our music from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and our reception. Not only was everything seamless and easy but DJ Cruz brings so much amazing energy and excitement! He goes above and beyond for his clients and he will do everything in his power to fulfill all your requests. I can’t tell you how many of our guests commented on how great of a job he did! He knows exactly when to hype the crowd and when to sit back and let the music take over. He also provided us with beautiful uplighting which he customized for our venue and colors. His photo booth was so much fun and the pictures we received from that showed us how much our guests enjoyed themselves. I’ve been to so many weddings over the years and I have never seen a DJ get people (young, old, dancers, non dancers) up and moving the way DJ Cruz did. Not only does he do such an awesome job but he has fun doing it! If I could do it all over again, I would hire DJ Darren Cruz and Divine Entertainment in a heartbeat without hesitation! I have no doubt that he will be the BEST decision you make for whatever event you are throwing! If you want to have the time of your lives and dance all night long with everyone around you, make sure you have DJ Darren Cruz!!! He absolutely kills it!!! -

We found DJ Darren Cruz through the Knot and trusted other reviews as to his quality – and we are so happy we did! He was absolutely fantastic at our wedding in October 2019. We gave him a long list of songs that we wanted to hear (really long) and he was able to play them all at the perfect moments. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor and was able to get everyone to sign together at the end – it was magical. One of our engaged friends even asked us for his information because they wanted to use him at their wedding – he was that good. We strongly recommend DJ Darren Cruz for your wedding or other event. You will not be disappointed! -

DJ Cruz is absolutely INCREDIBLE and we would recommend him for any couples planning a wedding!!!! We had an absolute blast at our wedding and DJ Cruz played a huge role in making that happen. He had the entire wedding out on the dance floor the entire night, dancing and having a BLAST! It was truly an unforgettable night largely thanks to the environment DJ Cruz created. The uplighting was gorgeous and set such a beautiful tone and look for the venue, and the photobooth was a HUGE hit - it was so much fun looking back through awesome guestbook with photostrips from the guests the photobooth operator put together for us!!! DJ Cruz was unbelievably professional and responsive, taking out as much time as we needed to walk through the wedding plan throughout the wedding process. He was always available and easy to talk to and work with. He has clearly been around the block and been doing weddings for years! We would not have done anything differently!! He also was an amazing, energetic, professional MC, helping keep the entire wedding moving seamlessly. All the guests were saying how great he was!! If you have special requests, he goes above and beyond to try to incorporate them into the wedding - whether it's a family tradition or a meaningful song to the bride and groom - he really made sure these were played making the wedding even more special and meaningful. Thank you DJ Cruz!!! You are absolutely amazing, we loved having you, and are so grateful we got to work with you. Definitely choose him for your wedding - he goes above and beyond to make the bride and groom have a perfect night and all guests have a blast!!! -

Darren is kind and a total professional. He was very responsive and helpful with the planning process and was so great on the day of. Not only did he come hours early to set up in order to make sure everything was perfect and guests didn’t see him loading any equipment, but he was nicely dressed, kept things moving even when there were major scheduling issues that were not his fault, and he played some great music. Highly recommend, great value. Thank you Darren!! -

This is the one! Trust us, Darren is amazing! He literally made the night. From start to finish Darren made the experience feel easy, even for a couple who had no idea what we were doing. He helped us display our sense of humor and unique personality, all while getting our guests out on the dance floor. He was even somehow in cahoots with our bridesmaids and groomsmen for a few surprises throughout the night! You will love his warm, caring personality and his sense of humor. Ashley Sent on 11/25/2017Darren was the DJ for our wedding located at the Grand View in Mendon, MA and he was more than amazing and beyond accommodating. My husband and I had a hiccup in our wedding plans – long story short, Hurricane Irma destroyed our U.S.V.I wedding venue 6 weeks before our wedding, leaving us little time to re-plan for that weekend. Finding Darren on such short notice was a true a blessing, he’s professional, punctual, organized, easy to work with and as mentioned above, extremely accommodating. The day before our wedding we decided we wanted a photo booth at the wedding (yes, day before) and Darren hopped right on board, made a few calls and within the hour, we had a photo booth! Additionally, Darren’s playlist is incredibly diverse and covered all the requested genres at our wedding, from Soca, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, 90s R&B, House music, Funk/Motown, Old School/Freestyle and Jazz – Darren covered it all! We utilized Darren’s services for our ceremony and reception. His equipment was set up (indoors/outdoors) and prelude music was playing in the background well before the wedding guest arrived. His transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception were seamless. And as you can see from the pictures, our guest had an absolute blast! Darren easily read the vibe of the room and made sure the dance floor was never empty. If you are looking for a professional, easy-going DJ with a diverse playlist to keep your party jumping, Darren’s your guy!
