Mike is the bomb! He took the official wedding photos of my best friend for her Epcot wedding, and his constant stream of jokes and wisdom was a nice foil to the many stresses and overwhelming feelings that can consume you during the day's events. I deeply appreciate his simple instructions, professionalism, kindness, patience, and easy-going manner. I would hire him for my own wedding if I wasn't already married! -

Couldn't have had better photographers to capture my Disney wedding. Ali, Jacob, Amy, Kevin and Stephanie are second to none and made us feel so comfortable!!!! -

Magical experience
We booked an in park photoshoot 2 days after our wedding. It was a quick and easy process from start to finish. They were helpful when I called with questions, to inquire about dates, and change my resort. We got to request our photographer, but didn't find out who it was until he called to confirm pickup details. We received a questionnaire where provided information on which parts of the park we were interested in, poses, overall feel, etc.
We got our pick, Jacob, which I was super excited about. He picked us up promptly, did a great job in keeping us moving quickly and getting shots from different angles. Matt, his assistant, helped with my dress and veil. I wish I had him around on my actual wedding day! The were both friendly and professional.
I was a little nervous because I had heard some not great reviews, but I couldn't be happier with our photoshoot or the pictures we got! -

Louise Sent on 03/16/2016Beth Demund was our primary photographer for our wedding day and park shoots EPCOT and DHS. I had done research on the various photographers that work at Disney Fine Art Photography and found a couple that were really me and my style. Beth was my first choice and I was thrilled to get her to work with on both days. She is for a start really fun. She's not over the top or pushy but she really does know what she's doing. It was one of my favourite experiences ever.
I have a friend who's done wedding photography and I think it's really important for the bride and groom to be comfortable with the style of who they choose so when the person says...pose like this...they know the photographer is doing it for a great reason. I had no qualms about the posing (it made me laugh or smile more if anything I think) and anyone who moans about that doesn't get how great shots are made. Trust me this is normal!
I honestly just had so much fun.
Honourable mention 1 goes to Mike Strikland who was the second shooter on the Wedding day. He got a really lovely shot of me at the piano which I'll always treasure.
Honourable mention 2 goes to Jacob who was Beth's assistant on the Park shoot day. This guy was a great assistant (and funny) but he also does great photos. -

Our photographer, Amanda was PHENOMENAL - absolute ARTIST!
I would have expected more from the two "helpers" that accompanied the photographer around the park. The two helpers should have been fluffing my wedding gown and ensuring it was picture perfect for the shot - however, the helpers really didn't do anything and I was not sure of their purpose. So my gown could have looked better in some shots. If anyone fixed my gown for the shot, the photographer did...but the helpers should have been doing that so the photographer could focus on just the beauty of the shot. -
User2326278 Sent on 09/21/2015Disney puts on the most amazing weddings, it's a shame that their photography department does not match their quality. My photographer, Stephanie, could not capture one decent close up of my husband or I. She would pose us, and then make us hold the pose for 5 minutes or more while she fiddled with the camera and gave no warning when she was actually taking the photos, so our faces always had a look of "did she take the photo yet?" She offered no direction or feedback as if expecting us to pose ourselves correctly without seeing the viewfinder. Also she obviously paid no attention to the background of the photos because instead of getting the beautiful Grand Floridian resort we got a hideous concrete wall. Even during our portrait session at the Magic Kingdom she managed to make it look like we weren't at the magic kingdom... Why would we pay all this money to get married at Disney if our photos make it look like we were anywhere else in the world. If it weren't for my sudjestion, she would have totally skipped any photos on the grand staircase at the Floridian, and I also had to say I wanted a Cinderella style photo with the shoe left behind which she forgot about... My name is Cindy... It's not a huge leap to think I wanted a Cinderella photo. The only decent and interesting photos she did take were extreme wide shots that you can't even tell who is really in the photo, they're so far away it could be anyone. My mother in law's reaction was Cindy is a pretty girl why did the photographer make her look ugly?! Such a disappointment! Get married at Disney it's amazing, but bring your own photographer!
On a side note, the videographer from Disney was awesome but we were unable to get still images from them to make up for the photos.
