Great Wedding Band!
I found Dirty Rotten Scoundrels via The Knot after combing through several wedding bands. They completely exceeded our expectations for my son's wedding reception. Honestly I expected them to be good, but they were even better than I expected! Nicolette did an awesome job as the lead singer that night! Michael worked with us on every aspect and answered all of my questions. I will say the dance floor was full all night and many of us did not leave it! I would highly recommend this band if you are looking for a fun night of dancing with a good variety of music. -

DRS Rocks!
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels were absolutely phenomenal! We love live music and always knew we wanted a band to play at our wedding, but their performance, professionalism, and ability to keep the dance floor packed, exceeded all of our expectations. We had the pleasure to be able to see them play at some bars and festivals prior to our wedding and fell in love with their sound, variety of music (especially those classic punk-rock songs🤘) and overall stage presence. They made us feel very special by including some personalized shout-outs and dedicated songs to our friends and family as requested. From our first meeting, they were always prepared, on time and professional. Michael (DJ Mike) was an integral part of our wedding reception as he emceed the entire night. We never had to worry about our timeline as he coordinated with our venue and took care of all our sound needs like grand march introductions, cocktail hour and dinner music, and microphone transition for speeches. We fell in love with the band from the first time we saw them play and are proud to say we are official DRS groupies and would highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding or event! -

There are not words for how amazing DRS is!! From the simple easy planning and great communication to the way they helped simplify our wedding plan, and just made the day perfect. The minute they started playing it was incredible, I don't think we left the dance floor all night. Song after song was just better and better. Incredible presence, vocals, musicians and customization. Check out their Facebook for videos but 15/10 recommend -

DJ Mike was a lot of fun and very accommodating of my vision! I surprised my Mom with a special dance and he helped me keep it a surprise. All guests were very lively and dancing. My now husband is not a dancer and he was even out on the floor. Thank you Mike for everything and making my vision become a reality! 10/10 would recommend. -

As a wedding planner, having a strong team of vendors is critical to ensure a smooth wedding day for both the couple and their guests. It was a pleasure working with The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at The Carriage House at Lac La Belle this August. They were exactly what I would've asked for in a DJ/band if I had to make my pick of who to work with. Their professionalism and incredible talent makes them such a well-rounded group. They catered to all audiences and had a large variety of music that kept everyone engaged and bringing the energy! I hope that I have the opportunity to work with them in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about DRS. Our dance floor was PACKED all night. There was absolutely no lull. Every single band member was professional, kind, and so very talented. I would recommend them a million times over. We have gotten soooo many comments from friends and family that it was truly an amazing performance and really made the wedding night so much fun. Book them!!!!! -

We couldn't have asked for a better party at our wedding!!! A live band was my one big ask (the bride) and they delivered!! The value for what we paid was unbelievable. Mike (the main contact/manager and lead vocal + DJ) was outstanding. From the initial phone call we had with him and Holly (lead vocals - and overall badass b*tch) to the walk-through calls, advice and final day-of commitment and showmanship was more than we could have ever imagined. DRS will bring it - I promise!
Not only did we utilize DRS for the live band (friggin crushed it) but they also provided audio (mics/speakers) for the ceremony and speeches and managed the music for prior to the ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, grand march, boquet throw - really just everything :) They were outstanding! -

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels made our wedding infinitely better. They helped us have a seamless ceremony, create a plan for our first dance, and kept the day organized. They were progressional throughout the planning progress and brought fun energy to our reception. They have a large selection of set list songs to choose from to help tailor to your taste. We love all of their 90s rock music. If you are looking for a live band, I would highly recommend DRS! -

Mike did a fantastic job coordinating plans with us to pull off a lot of moving parts. He was able to set up his guitar and equipment on a boat for our rehearsal dinner cruise, and was playing live again at our welcome party within minutes of the boat docking. At the welcome party, he brought a second singer who sounded amazing, and the two of them played a wide variety of songs throughout the night.
Mike also played live guitar for us during our ceremony, bringing a second guitarist with him so he could play the vocal Melodies to the 3 songs we requested. All of which sounded better than I could have imagined.
For cocktail hour, he once again brought out the guitar and played live music for us without skipping a beat. The song selection and sound were fantastic.
Once the reception started, Mike did a great job hyping up the crowd and DJing for the rest of the night, including the grand entrance and dancing.
Overall, Mike exceeded all expectations and would definitely recommend! -

They were SPECTACULAR! What a talented band. Adding the live Karaoke was a hit. Our guests loved it and had a blast. Highly Recommend them and will be asking them to perform for us again! -

Mike was our DJ and bandleader for my wedding in December 2021. If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had crazy demands and he accommodated everything.
The planning was impeccable. We had total control of our setlist for the ceremony, dinner, band set and DJ sets throughout the night. Mike has a great sense of what will work and is great at steering you in the right direction.
Our maid of honor got sick and couldn't attend. Mike rolled with the punches and had her record an MP3 of her speech. He was able to play it crisply and clearly for everyone in the 200 or so audience to tear up to. For this alone we will be forever grateful.
The ceremony and dinner went off without a hitch. Songs were perfectly timed and audio was crystal clear for our pastor and all the dinner speeches.
The band ROCKED. The dance floor was bumping all night. The set with us and my friends was perfect and truly a highlight of my life. I CAN'T recommend more highly -

DRS was the BEST!! 11/10
My husband and I knew we wanted a live band to perform at our and we hired Sound Check Entertainment. Mike Grassman and the entirety of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels exceeded all expectations!!!
Mike worked as the DJ and emcee for our ceremony/cocktail and everything went off without a hitch. He was communicative, flexible, and all-around a pleasure to work with.
The band absolutely crushed it. They sounded amazing and were full of energy. Our dance floor was packed the whole entire night (on a Sunday evening no less). Even 6 months after the wedding, our guests cannot stop raving about the band!
I would HIGHLY recommend Sound Check Entertainment, Mike, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!! -

We were so lucky to have DRS help us out with our special day. They were truly responsible for keeping the party alive, we are so lucky to have them with us. Mike was such a pleasure to work with and really was so accommodating with the setlist and my vision. DRS rules!!!!!
