You'd be so lucky to work with Dilven!
Dilven was an absolute delight in truly every way possible. I was so nervous that I wouldn't find a makeup artist who shared the same vision of myself on my wedding day that I did. She was so immediately welcoming, familiar, and talented that I could relax and have fun! Which feels like it should be more of the point when preparing for your wedding day but it's so easy to let your anxiety get the best of you. Dilven's confidence and her ability to innately understand what I wanted to feel in that moment set the tone in such a positive way throughout the entire appointment. I fully recommend any future bride to work with Dilven, especially if you have a specific vision for your makeup on your wedding day! I had been looking for a more natural but sophisticated look and I am so happy to have found Dilven. -

Dilven is truly a gem, book her and be prepared to fall in love! I feel so lucky we found her for my sister’s wedding this June. From the beginning, she made the entire process feel easy and organized. Within a week of reaching out on Instagram, we were in her wonderful home studio for my sister’s bridal trial. Her communication was quick, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. During the trial, we were so impressed not only by her talent, but by her energy. She’s warm, knowledgeable, collaborative, and genuinely listens to what you want. Her expertise made it so easy to trust her, and it was clear she could perfect any vision. She has such a beautiful way of enhancing natural features so you still feel like yourself, just elevated. Her background in wedding photography really shows because the makeup photographs beautifully while still looking soft and natural in person. What stood out most was how comfortable and confident she made my sister feel throughout the experience. After seeing her work firsthand, we immediately knew we wanted her for the full bridal party. Her follow up process is also so thoughtful, including a personalized beauty profile and flexibility to make adjustments before the wedding day. Thank you so much, Dilven. Perfect Experience!
I just had my trial with Dilven and I immediately fell in love with her work and her energy! Super professional, super welcoming, and super fun! She listened to all of my requests regarding how I wanted my makeup to look and she took the time to also get to know me as a person! Highly recommend her! -

5 Stars Isn’t Enough
Dilven is the embodiment of beauty and talent. She is professional, incredibly flexible, and most importantly one of the most talent Mua’s I have ever met. She did my makeup at a friend’s wedding and that’s how I knew I just had to have her for my wedding. I will always recommend her, and do recommend her. If I could give her more stars I would! 10/10 every time. -

Loved our MUA!
I absolutely loved Dilven and her bubbly personality! I was the matron of honor and I gave her full range of what she wanted to do for my makeup and she delivered! I received many compliments on my make up. My daughter was the flower girl and Dilven was soooo good with her! I would definitely recommend hiring her for your next make up event! -

A breath of fresh air and warmth!
On my wedding day, I had a few changes from the bridal trial. I was very much relieved that she understood and even agreed. I loved that she enhanced my face rather than changing it completely. I loved her bubbly personality and it made getting ready worth it especially very early in the morning. She came on time at 4AM and was ready to start! -

Dilven has been awesome to work with! i found her via a facebook wedding group and i took a chance i am so glad i did! she was very professional, answered all my questions and has made the process seamless. I had a great time during my trial, she set the atmosphere with some music to make it fun and we laughed the whole time! I was so happy with the outcome, I received many compliments and it lasted through out the night! my bridesmaids and I are so excited and looking forward to my wedding day , highly recommend! -

Had the best time with Dilven!
I had such a great time with Dilven! She previously did my makeup when I was a MOH last year. So when I got engaged, I knew who I wanted to do my bridal trial with. I mentioned I'm a combo skin girly, and she knew exactly what products to use for my skin type. I didn't know what look I wanted to go for so I just described what I usually go for and she took it from there. Each step throughout the session, she explained what she was using and also answered any questions I had. I loved the final look, she did a great job at covering what I wanted but also let my natural freckles peak out. I mentioned I wanted a smoky eye look and she delivered! In terms of lasting power, it lasted all day and into the night.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and doing a makeup trial with Dilven for my upcoming wedding! Her work and energy exceeded my expectations. Simply amazing
I had such an amazing experience with Dilven. 10/10 would recommend her for your special day. She’s extremely talented, knowledgeable and professional and delivered such a glammed-up look that left me speechless. I felt like a glowing goddess. She’s incredibly warm, friendly and so easy to talk to during the entire consult and appointment. I knew we’d hit it off within minutes of first meeting! Book with her!!
I absolutely loved Dilven! First of all, she was extremely friendly, fun, enthusiastic, and welcoming. I had an event that I needed my makeup done for and stumbled across her page. I booked with her and I am so glad I did. Dilven is so knowledgeable and organized with her makeup artistry. She is also super strategic with the application of her products! I barely felt that I had makeup on all night; it felt so light. I also did not feel like I had too much makeup on my face. I loved how beautiful it looked on my skin (which is very textured) and looked like my skin. When I looked in the mirror I could not look away because I have quite literally never felt so beautiful in my life! Dilven and I chatted and laughed the whole time she was doing my makeup. She made the whole experience so comfortable for me. I loved her and will book with her again and again. -

I hired Dilven to apply make-up to 3 girls at my stepdaughter’s birthday. Leading up to the event, Dilven was incredible professional, flexible, and attentive with my needs. Make-up was a surprise for my stepdaughter and Dilven even played along! Needless to say, the birthday party was perfect. This speaks not only for Dilven's skill but also her cheerfulness personality.
My experience with her was so positive, that since the birthday, I have completed a photo session for my son. Additionally, I am hoping to book with her a new corporate head shot sometime for the winter! -

Loved my session with Dilven!
I had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Dilven for my best friend's wedding. I love the soft glam/natural glam look and I appreciate that I still look like me but just an elevated version of myself. I have combination skin and my makeup lasted really well throughout the day. I got my makeup done at 5 am and it still looked really good by 12 am the next day. She provided a touch up kit which was really nice, the blotting sheets came in handy as well! She is professional and personable, I really enjoyed my session with her. When it's my turn to get married I will definitely reach out to Dilven! ☺️ -

10/10 recommend!
Had my makeup trial with Dilven for my September wedding! I’m not big on makeup knowledge and my confidence could use some work so I was anxious going into an appointment focused on my looks for two hours! Dilven made me feel super comfortable immediately and used her expertise when I didn’t have exact directions to get to what I was generally looking for. She explained every new thing going on my face and asked questions that helped both her and I figure out the look. The result was a natural glam which is what I wanted!
Application-wise, I always struggle with strip lashes due to me eye shape but the lashes stayed on better than any other time I’ve tried them. Even the corners that usually come off. When I took them off it didn’t take any of my real lashes off either.
She was very open to any style adjustments I want to make for wedding day. I’m a people pleaser so I felt bad making any new edits after sitting with it for a while but she makes sure you know it’s your day and wants to give you what you want!
Aside from the makeup itself, she was a pleasure to work with and a generous fun helpful person. She also gave me some skincare tips and product recommendations.
I’m much more comfortable going into wedding day and definitely recommend, esp to anyone who needs a helping hand in figuring out what look you’re going for and understanding makeup in general! -

Dilven is awesome!! I don’t normally wear too much make up so I asked her to help me look natural just a tad bit more lively than bare faced. She is a great listener and made sure sure to ask about allergies and preferences in terms of colors and amount of coverage. I also appreciated her checking in with what I liked and wanted throughout the process. Dilven is a great choice for brides looking for someone who will listen and laugh with them while giving them a beautiful natural look and glow. Definitely recommend! -

The Best Experience!
I had the amazing pleasure of having Dilven do my wedding makeup. She made me look and feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day! I was in love with my look and could not stop smiling! I felt so beautiful and confident. There aren’t adequate enough words to describe what an amazing make up artist and person Dilven is. Amazing and Professional
Wow, wow, wow. Not only is Dilven's talent to be adored, but it's to be respected. Her level of professionalism and talent made my entire experience/makeup session with her fun and run smoothly. She beat all the expectations I had going into the session. It amazed me how quickly she could adjust the makeup look if we wanted to tweak anything. She has such a keen eye. I wanted a glammed-up, but natural look, and she gave me exactly that. Something that I love about her work is that she tries to bring out one's natural beauty and features they already have. Throughout the entire session, I felt comfortable. Through words of encouragement and through normal conversations, her genuity is evident, which made me trust her and the process. Sometimes, trusting someone to perform beauty services can be nerve-wracking because every artist has their own methods. Dilven is a true artist with expert skills and a true professional. I'm very thankful, and I feel appreciated for the time she took with me to make sure I loved the end look. It was an all-around amazing, fun experience, and I will certainly be going back to her for future glam sessions. -

Dilven was an amazing makeup artist for our wedding! From the beginning she was great at communicating and getting back to me quickly. Then at the makeup trial and wedding she was super sweet and did a fantastic job at the makeup. She tailored the look to exactly what I wanted, which I highly appreciate because it is such an important thing to listen to what your client wants (and not all artists do this by the way. I had already tried a trial with another makeup artist prior, and they did not listen to what i wanted at ALL). Finding Dilven was such a breath of fresh air. She also provided us with to-go makeup kits for the whole bridal party so we could touch up throughout the day. She's also super fun to hang out with and she is a gem of an artist, photographer, and person. Highly recommend her for any makeup and photography!! -

Dilven is an amazing person. Not only was she able to be my photographer, she was also my make-up artist. She listened to my concerns and my vision of what I wanted. She also gave her honest feedback and opinion on location, what I wanted, etc. Pretty much will make my vision a dream, but will also give opinions/options to better my experience. My makeup was beautiful and Dilven guided me during photoshoots to get my best angles. She was a pleasure to work with. -

CANCELLED ON ME 9 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING!
"Working" with Dilven was by far the worst experience of my wedding. I do not recommend her services and advise to avoid her at all costs.
I reached out to Dilven in Nov '22 about doing the makeup for my wedding (in Sept '23). Everything seemed great, so I signed a contract with her and sent a deposit. I also asked Dilven if she would do my rehearsal dinner makeup. She quickly agreed. From my perspective everything was locked in.
When booking my trial, I told her that I do not live in the New England area, but I had a few trips scheduled there. I wanted to do my trial during one of these trips. In May '23 I contacted Dilven and booked a trial for the end of the month. It was challenging to figure out this booking as Dilven has a full-time job, but I was happy to accommodate. As a freelancer, I understand the importance of side hustles and was happy to work around her schedule. However, the DAY BEFORE the trial she canceled. I reminded her that I don't live in the area and wouldn't be able to visit MA again before the wedding. Still, she decided to move forward with the cancellation explaining that she had to work her other job when our trial was scheduled.
A few weeks before my wedding Dilven and I were emailing. She said she would need a hotel room for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). This was never fully outlined in the contract. I knew I would be putting her up on Friday night between the rehearsal dinner and the reception, but wasn't told she'd need a 2nd night until now. However, I happily obliged. My venue could only accommodate guests starting on Fri. Dilven wanted to arrive on Thur for a 2-3pm application on Fri (She lives a 3-hour drive away, so this request really made no sense, but I went with it anyway). I told her I would have to book her in a hotel offsite as we didn't have a hotel block in Maine for Thursday night. Even my fiance and I weren't arriving in Maine until Friday.
During our email exchanges, Dilven mentioned that she wanted 2 hours to do my rehearsal makeup and that our time would be used as a "trial" since we never had one. This was contradictory to her earlier emails in which we discussed the option of forgoing the trial, and both agreed to skip it. I kindly told Dilven that on the day before my wedding, I didn't have time for a trial. I just wanted a basic application for dinner.
Then Dilven also emailed me an arbitrary number for her travel. I questioned where this number came from. The contract had numbers for travel outlined and the price she was providing me didn't match those. Dilven couldn't give me a straight answer.
I asked to speak to her on the phone, but received an email saying that she could no longer work my wedding. Here are some reasons she outlined in email: 1) The contract was not "valid" as I had TBD listed in a few places (such as my day-of schedule, etc.) Why would I know all this a year before the wedding when I originally signed the document? 2) Said I "never" booked her a hotel room. I did. And it's not refundable. 3) I questioned her travel rate. 4) I didn't have a trial... Yet she said not having a trial was fine, and she was the one who canceled my trial.
Dilven has yet to answer my phone calls or texts. She's completely ghosted me. I've never encountered someone so unprofessional. Overall booking Dilven was a horrible decision as it caused me an extreme amount of stress on the week leading up to my wedding. I do not recommend this vendor as she was unreliable and gaslit me through the entire process. -
