I would say Ian was the most sophisticated DJ I have ever seen! Personally he is beyond sweet and really cares about what he does. He has very modern technology that don’t look like an eye sore! Ian had awesome mixes that kept people on the dance floor even with the different cultures at our wedding. We were definitely very lucky to have Ian on our special day and made sure the party kept going! I think a very sweet touch is when we did our private last dance, it was truly private. Not only did he get everyone out in a sweet manner but he also stepped away to truly make the last dance private. We would hire Ian for any other event we have!

Ian is our Superman
Ian and his team were the calm in the storm when it came to our wedding planning. Working with them was always a smooth process wether it be via email, phone, or on site in-person. Ian allowed us the flexibility to have our music and event our way, while also providing us with his expertise and best practices that he has used in the past. We were always able to have fun with the planning process whenever we hopped on the phone, and it was always a welcome counterbalance to the stress of planning our wedding. The best of the best
Ian was fantastic to work with and i’m so glad we found him. From the very beginning he was professional, kind, and listened to what we wanted. As we got closer to the wedding, out of all of our vendors (who were also great), Ian was on top of everything the most which was incredibly impressive. He even helped me surprise my husband by playing a secret recorded speech by his best man who couldn’t make the wedding due to being deployed. The day of, Ian made sure everything went smoothly, he speaks well, and kept the dance floor moving. I was adamant about not having constant oldies music and Ian followed my request! We all realized the next day that the venue never turned the lights off and no one noticed because we had such a great time. Book Ian!

Wow! Where to even begin! We would highly recommend Ian as your DJ for your wedding or any event. From the beginning, Ian was great to work with. He was responsive throughout the whole planning process, he listened to our own ideas, and gave great feedback and other ideas when we asked for it. He is extremely professional and highly talented. When it came to the day of, Ian set everything up without any hiccups. All of our entrances, exits, and first dances were exactly as we asked. One of our main goals for our wedding was to keep the dance for bumping the whole night, and Ian helped us do just that! With his music choices, transitions, and ability to read the vibe of the guests, our dance floor was packed from the first song through the last song. We worked with Ian for our September 2025 wedding. From the moment we reached out to inquire about DJ services, he was very responsive and happy to answer all of our questions. He is a true professional- I could tell that he knew what he was talking about, and he was willing to offer his opinion and advice when I asked for it. Working with him was a no-brainer. On the day-of, he was kind and professional. He checked in with us about the order of events and the music we chose. can’t thank Ian enough! Not only for the day of the actual wedding, but also for the amount of coordination and planning he did beforehand. For context, we were a predominantly minority group (Hispanic & black). So this makes finding the right balance of music between the two cultures pretty difficult. Yet, Ian was very accommodating and allowed us to choose a selection of our “must-plays,” while also suggesting to allow him to fill in the gaps in between. So I say that to say for anyone who feels they have to select the entire playlist or handpick every song because you feel nervous about the culture differences, don’t be nervous because you can tell he is a professional! He follows the flow of music choices you provide.
For our wedding- he provided the mic for the officiant, went through the timeline of events as it pertains to songs to play at each event (ceremony, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). For the ceremony, he triple checks the order you have, what song to play for each wedding party member walking down the aisle, and what to play when the ceremony concludes. For the reception-he followed the coordinator’s cues, made the announcements at the right time, and even made quick jokes. Hopefully, this detailed review helps you see Ian is a great choice who made the night remarkable!

DJ Ian at Digital Sound Services was the perfect wedding DJ! From beginning to end, it was a pleasure and a joy to work with Ian. Our first phone call with him was used by both parties to gauge the fit, and when it was determined we were a good partnership, DJ Ian moved forward with a quote for us based on our wedding details. We sent him a list of songs we loved, and based on our overall music "vibe," DJ Ian took things from there. His work was perfect. People were coming up to us all night talking about how much fun they were having and how great the music was. Our wedding with Digital Sound Services
We hired Ian for our wedding this past Sunday and he was truly incredible. We had multiple meetings leading up to the wedding where Ian took detailed notes, asked questions and if we ever sent him an e-mail, he responded right away. He checked up on us throughout the night, making sure we were okay/things were going well/asking if we needed anything. He got to the venue early to make sure everything was set up and worked, which we really appreciated from the peace of mind standpoint. We sent him a list of songs for the reception as suggestions so he could get to know what type of music we liked. He played awesome songs all night and our dance floor was always packed. If there is one detail about our wedding I cannot stop talking about with friends and family, it’s the work of Ian Lade as DJ. Not only does he know music and how to read a crowd and transition from one song to the next, we threw something at him he was entirely unfamiliar with—Arabic music—and he knocked it out of the park. Not only was he great the day of, Ian was responsive and spent time with us leading up to the day to make sure the music at our wedding was perfect and it truly was. DJ Ian is the best wedding DJ on the market. We used him for our wedding and we were left so impressed. We even had our guests say how impressed they were with him. He is very organized, works well with the other vendors, and is great. Super flexible and communicative. Gives the option to create your own playlist and then he works based on wedding vibes and atmosphere so he can add songs as the night progresses. He had our guests on the dance floor ALL Night. Absolutely perfect time and Ian made it easy
Ian was incredible for our wedding! We communicated back and forth to find the right music for certain aspects, and he helped us with songs that are "normal" for certain experiences. So typical songs that are in the "dancing" time, and we got to pick specific songs that were meaningful for us. It was an incredible experience that he made smooth and simple!

Ian Lade - Exceptional DJ
Ian Lade, could not have done a better job as our DJ. He setup calls with us several times before our wedding to ensure that there would be no surprises on the big day. On our wedding day, he made sure to meet with us in person to ensure that there were no questions/concerns.
During the wedding ceremony, the sound was perfect. Ourselves and the officiant were able to be heard very well. During the cocktail hour/dinner, Ian had a great playlist that set the mood well. Finally, once the dance floor was opened up, Ian had a great mix that he approved with us, to ensure that the dance floor was always packed and full of fun.
We can not recommend Ian Lade enough to any couple lookin for a DJ.

We reached out to DJ Ian based on our wedding venue's recommendation, and couldn't have been happier with the result. DJ Ian was responsive and professional, his fees were reasonable, and he was attentive in noting our musical tastes and preferences. On our wedding day, numerous guests of all ages came up to us to tell us that DJ Ian was the best wedding DJ they'd ever experienced, and we couldn't agree more! If you want a DJ who will bring the dance and party, thoroughly communicate and listen to you, read the vibe of the room perfectly, have flawless fading between songs, all without breaking the bank, Ian Lade is your guy! From our very first call with Ian, I knew within the first 2 mins he was going to be excellent. His skill and experience is evident, and he asks all the important, detailed questions that I hadn’t even thought about. Our guests danced all night and Ian was a huge contributor to everyone having the best time! Great Wedding DJ!
We highly recommend Ian Lade as a DJ for your wedding! He took the playlists of music we provided and turned it into an incredible evening of fun that all our guests were talking about for days! It was incredible seeing so many people of different generations all joined together on the dance floor having a great time! Ian is the best person you will ever meet. He was so easy to work with and always so quick to respond. He is open to making you a playlist or using whatever playlist you may have. So much more than a wedding DJ!
Ian is absolutely amazing! As the MOB, I didn’t realize before what a huge impact a skilled DJ has on the flow and vibe of a wedding. Ian patiently talked through every component of the wedding before the event ensuring that he understood the exact nature and order of all of the components of the ceremony and reception. He prompted us to iron out some details that we hadn't thought of with his thoughtful questions. At the reception he made sure that everyone knew when important moments were happening. He kept the flow and the vibe of the whole day upbeat and on track! He also did a fantastic job keeping people having fun and on the dance floor. Ian is charming, professional, a lot of fun and ON IT! His adorable British accent added a nice touch to the occasion too! I can't recommend him enough. He was an integral part of making my daughter's big day everything she had hoped for!

Ian was soooooo great and helped get the party started and kept the party going!! He was very professional and listened to all of our requests-even though it was a bit of a challenge! UK groom and USA bride with a mix of guests from both meant the music wasn't as straight forward as "Wedding tunes" and Ian was able to meld the two worlds together beautifully! Incredible DJ!!
My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Ian!! We actually first interacted with him at a friend's wedding and without realizing it, contacted him during our search for a DJ. We knew we didn't need to look any further because he was a perfect fit!!
Throughout the entire planning process he was very thorough, organized, and professional. We were really impressed that he set up a call two weeks out to run through the timeline and practice name pronunciations with us. That was the first time we ran through our timeline with anyone and it helped us get a really good grasp on the day and make corrections where necessary.
The execution of everything on the wedding day was incredible and our guests were so impressed by the song selection and order of songs. We had a lot of very specific requests (from our processional lineup to our private last dance) and he accommodated every single one!! And not only that - he shared in our excitement in every aspect of the day, which is so important in our opinion. Plus - he just really fun!! Our guests had an absolute blast and we owe a lot of gratitude to Ian!

Ian was wonderful to work with. He spent a lot of time initially getting to know us and connecting with us as people which we appreciated. He was very open and communicative throughout and hit upon the details and timing spot on the day of our wedding. We gave him the vibe and song choices we wanted for everything from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception and he did a great job! Our reception music flowed well and kept everyone on the dance floor all night which is what we wanted. He even coordinated flawlessly with the staff & our videographer to help present a photo montage in lieu of a father/daughter dance since the bride’s father is disabled. We heard about Ian through a family friend, who owns a wedding venue in Bluemont, VA. Ian came highly recommended. From the first phone call, he was enthusiastic, attentive, offered his professional opinion, and really helped us craft the vibe for our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). Ian was always very responsive, especially as we got closer to the wedding. Our reception dance floor was never empty and everyone raved about the music. Ian was the DJ for our wedding and he did a fabulous job! He was very organized and kept things running smoothly for our whole event, along with playing great music to keep the party going! Would definitely recommend.

Northern Virginia Wedding DJ
Ian from Digital Sound Services was the DJ at our wedding this past July 2022. Ian did an INCREDIBLE job! Leading up to the wedding, Ian was very responsive, helpful, and a great person to interact with through the stressful process of planning a wedding. More about Ian as a person, he drove 35 minutes out of his way to our venue to personally introduce himself and meet us at a meeting he didn't have to attend. Right then we knew we made an excellent choice with Ian and Digital Sound Services to be our DJ for our wedding day!
Ian also was a ROCKSTAR at the wedding! He did a phenomenal job introducing the wedding party. He also did amazing DJ'ing the music. He made the process simple. We sent over our favorite / must play songs as well as the type of music and song suggestions we liked and then he tailored his playlist accordingly throughout the night. The dance floor was poppin'. He played all of the songs we loved and everyone had an absolute blast!
We can't thank Ian enough for making our day so special and we would 100% recommend him for any occasion you may need a DJ!!

Simply Marvelous!
I found Ian through another venues recommended DJ list. Made one call to him and was instantly glad I did. Ian is extremely patient and very down to earth. He made sure all bases are covered and knew exactly what our occasion needed. He over delivered. His sound was not too loud as to disrupt guess during the cocktail hour and dinner service and had everything queued up ready to go from the different speeches, slide show, performance dance and singing. He didn't miss a beat (no pun intended). I referred him out to the entire guests that attended. I can't thank him enough for making us look better to our guests.

If you want an AMAZING wedding dance party, then hire Ian!!!
If I could give 6 stars out of 5 to Ian I would - he did an absolutely outstanding job at our wedding! A little about me - I am actually a DJ myself and I have DJ’d plenty of weddings, so I know how things should go. I can be a bit critical of DJ’s at other weddings we attend, so I wouldn’t say I was the easiest customer for Ian. The audio for the ceremony was crisp, clear, and very easy for everyone to hear clearly with zero hiccups. The cocktail hour music was great background music that set a great vibe for people and put everyone in a good mood without being too overpowering. Ian made our wedding party introductions as smooth as possible, and made all necessary announcements throughout the evening.
All of this was great, but wasn’t as great as Ian’s ability to rock the dancefloor. The first song of the night got almost everyone (out of a 170 person wedding) on the dancefloor so much so that they needed to push the tables back. Every single song Ian played kept the dancefloor packed the entirety of the night (which is not an easy thing to do as a DJ!). All of the songs he played were great dancing songs that most of the guests knew. Many of our guests commented after that they had not been to a wedding where all of the songs were so danceable and fun the whole time (which is what we wanted!). His audio equipment was great - plenty loud, clear highs and great bass. In addition to all of his professional DJing and music knowledge, Ian is a super nice, personable guy with a great sense of humor. He was super easy to contact via email and phone and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ. We would enthusiastically recommend that Ian DJ anyone’s wedding!

Ian has been the DJ for all our family weddings - he is simply the best! Although I had met Ian before, he did a great job connecting with me and my husband to get to know us as a couple and what our interests were! He is incredibly professional and positive which is the best addition to your wedding day. The quality of his equipment also matches his expertise. Both our ceremony and reception ran smoothly and all our guests danced the night away. We love Ian and would highly recommend him!

Ian got the party started at our wedding and kept it going through the whole reception! We could not have asked for a better DJ and emcee. The best choice for a night of dancing
Ian did an amazing job as the dj for our wedding. When we spoke to him before the wedding, he did a thorough review with us about each of the songs for different components of the ceremony and reception and wanted to know the backstory behind them. Our ceremony was outdoors, and the volume of the music and the lavalier mic were perfect and easily captured by a camera we'd set up to record a video of it. We sent him a couple Spotify playlists to show him the vibe we were looking for for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing part of the reception, and he ran with it, playing all the ones we had flagged as favorites and using his discretion to respond to the crowd. He catered super well to our group of mostly older millennials, and I was shocked by how many of our friends and family stayed on the dance floor all night. Not a dud in the full 2 1/2 hours of dancing. He was very attentive and professional throughout - would recommend!

Working with Ian was so easy. He is incredibly experienced, flexible, and knows how to MC a great party. We had so many of our guests ask for our wedding playlist, which is the ultimate compliment for a DJ! He also accommodated private musician sound systems as well as a video montage for our reception. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ian's professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail is unparalleled. Do yourself a favor and book him ASAP! We are SO glad Ian was the DJ for our wedding. From our first conversation Ian was professional and gave us confidence. He truly listened to our vision and the type of music we wanted to play, coming up with a killer playlist the fit exactly what we imagined. On the day of the wedding he kept everything running smoothly, from making sure everyone was mic'd up to the ceremony music. At the reception he kept the dance floor going all night! We could not be more happy with our experience working with Ian! He made the entire process so easy for us, from understanding when we might want music throughout the ceremony and reception, to selecting songs and serving as an MC throughout the reception. I am so pleased that we hired Ian Lade to DJ our wedding. Ian was very easy to work with, organized, professional, and kind. He made suggestions where appropriate, and accommodated our requests. In particular, we were looking for someone who would keep the party going without taking the spotlight (in my opinion sometimes DJs can be a bit too over the top when trying to get the guests pumped up) and Ian allowed the music to be the focal point. Fantastic DJ!
We loved having Ian DJ our wedding, he was so easy to work with and extremely prepared! Ian made sure he was familiar with our venue before our wedding to keep the day running smoothly. We had some issues with the weather during our wedding and Ian quickly adapted and made last minute changes when we had to move our cocktail hour location and ceremony timing. He made all of these changes while staying positive and helping ease our stress. Ian then kept the the party going all night! Ian kept all of the guests entertained and did a wonderful job of picking the music to keep everyone dancing and kept the reception on schedule. Our reception was completely stress free and Ian was a major part of that. I highly recommend Ian for any wedding!

Our Dance Floor Was Alive!
Ian was the BEST DJ we could have ever asked for on our wedding day! He was communicative, organized, and paid great attention to detail. He discussed the entire flow of the day and practiced saying everyone's names over a phone call before our wedding. He kept our dance floor lit and fun, EVERYONE was dancing. He also made a special mash up for my Dad and I for the Father Daughter dance. We will cherish the memories forever. Thank you Ian!!

Amazing DJ!
Ian was absolutely amazing... he had people up on the dance floor before dinner was even served! I think that alone says enough! A lot of guests were also impressed that when a song was requested, it was played as the next song. Prior to the wedding, Ian went over the whole schedule in detail to ensure nothing was missed and was of great assistance in picking songs!

All Around Amazing
Our wedding was on 10-31-21 and we are incredibly happy that we chose Ian to DJ for us! He’s the kind of vendor that does such a great job that you want to send a Christmas card to him every year! He was funny, kind and always helpful. Our guests were on the dance floor all night because of the great mix of songs that he played in addition to the songs that we requested. Everything You Want And More In a DJ!!!
Where to start, other than the fact that Ian is an absolutely extraordinary DJ! Ian was recommended to us by multiple people including our wedding venue (Historic Rosemont Springs) and it was the best possible decision we could have made. The first time you talk to Ian, you feel like you have already known him for 10 years. He truly wants your wedding day to be everything you dreamed of and more. He was accommodating during our whole wedding process and always made sure that he was there for whatever we needed. From a Pre-Wedding perspective, he explained his whole process and method of how he keeps your guests engaged and having a great time throughout the night. We also met multiple times with Ian the months before our wedding to go over multiple items including our Spotify Wedding Playlist we created which was awesome as some DJs had told us they wouldn't use a pre-playlist we had created. Another thing my now wife and I appreciated prior to our wedding, was Ian made sure to get the correct pronunciations for all our parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen for Bridal Party introductions. Though that is a minor detail, it shows how involved and perfect Ian wants your wedding day to be. When it comes to the wedding itself, Ian was incredible. He was there hours before the wedding, setting up and performing all the needed checks for the microphone and sound system. He played our Wedding playlist all night, and also threw in a couple other wedding bangers that our guests loved. Our guests didn't get off the dance floor all night and I truly believe Ian was the major reason for that. Ian \made our wedding day truly magical and we cannot thank him enough! We wouldn't recommend any other DJ!

An absolutely incredible DJ! A one of a kind experience!
What an incredible DJ. Ian absolutely blew us away with how fun, engaging, and flexible he was during the entirety of our planning, coordination, and wedding. Ian made every moment with us feel personal and meaningful. Every interaction and planning meeting with Ian was professional yet fun which made our lives so much easier during the final weeks of planning for our wedding.
Ian brought so much energy and excitement to our reception that the dance floor never died! We had so many people come up to us during the reception and post wedding parties that mentioned how incredibly fun and professional our DJ was. Ian really made our night even more special by helping with a last minute (and I mean last minute) song change for the Mother - Son dance. Without skipping a beat he had it handled. That made everything incredible!
The best way I can summarize Ian and his services are that he will make you and your guests want to dance till the cows come home!
