The Sullen wedding!!!

To begin, I would like to emphasize that this is a genuine and unpaid review. Working with Mike and his wife was an absolute delight from the very beginning to the very end. Mike's meticulous planning and exceptional attention to detail transformed the entire planning process into a stress-free and enjoyable experience. He demonstrated remarkable patience in answering all of my inquiries, ensuring that I never felt rushed or pressured at any point. Mike's professionalism was truly commendable, and his ability to keep the dance floor lively and vibrant throughout the entire event was simply extraordinary. Without any hesitation, I wholeheartedly give Digital Music Services a perfect rating of 10 out of 10 and highly recommend them to anyone seeking an exceptional DJ for their special occasion.

All-star team!

As of out-of-towners, our difficulty in searching for a masterful and reputable disc jockey for our wedding were put to rest when we found Digital Music Services.  Mike and his wife, Teri, are true professionals and one of the best in the music business.  Only after a short telephone call, we were immediately captivated by the level of professionalism and respect that they had in disc-jockeying our wedding reception. In preparation of our wedding, Mike excelled at going above and beyond to maintain frequent communication through emails and even phone calls to address our concerns, inform us of recent changes in Louisiana law that governed marriage license requirements for out of state newlyweds and worked beautifully with our hotel wedding coordinator to construct a timeline to ensure the smooth and prompt execution of events on our wedding day, making the management of our wedding easily done from afar.  He even pulled a miracle finding a rare version of our wedding song to play for our first dance, designed an absolutely gorgeous purple monogram to beautifully align with the décor of the venue, and concluded our reception in traditional New Orleans style with music for a second line parade.

Mike and his wife, Teri, work seamlessly together. Teri’s attention to detail proved to be an invaluable asset in the management of events for our wedding reception.  She worked graciously with our hotel wedding coordinator, photographer, personal attendant and all our guests to coordinate and ensure the orderly execution of scheduled events for our reception.

We are indebted to Mike and Teri at Digital Music Services for their work in keeping the dance floor hot and coordinating the smooth order of events for our wedding reception.  They made our wedding one for the ages, and will surely makes yours too.

Best night ever, thanks to Mike and Teri!

Mike and Teri are wonderful to work with. They are so much more than a
husband and wife team that DJ's at weddings. From our first meeting over
coffee at their kitchen table my now husband and I knew we were in very good
hands. The VIP website that you get access to when you book with them is
packed with so many wedding resources that really came in handy. They have
packages to fit the variety of needs that will come up for your wedding,
lighting, photobooth. You name it they have it, and if they don't they know
where to send you. Travis and I cannot thank y'all enough for the fantastic
job you did with our wedding. Everyone had a blast!!! So sad it's over

Hiring Mike and Terri was probably one of the best decisions we made. Due to unplanned circumstances with our reverend leaving our church we went from 1 year to plan a wedding to 41 short days! I definitely don’t think it would have went as smooth if we didn’t hire Digital Music Services. They had so many amazing ideas and provided a great foundation for our wedding planning stages that went above and beyond just dj services! We used them for DJ services and photo booth services and we were 110% happy with the outcome! If you’re looking for either service Mike and Teri are definitely without a doubt the way to go.

Ty and I highly recommend Digital Music Services. From the very beginning Mike and Teri provided us with all of the tools and resources to make our wedding happen. They are a wedding encyclopedia. We had multiple meetings with them so they could get to know us better, see our personalities and truly learn our vision for our wedding day. They provided us with checklist and forms for music as well as critical wedding day checklist that covered all other wedding planning details that we would have never thought of. Their love and dedication for making wedding dreams comes true truly showed throughout our journey with them and on our wedding day. They did not make us feel like a client; they made us feel like family. We purchased their package that included up lighting, DJ services, monogram lighting for the dance floor and outside of the building, and their event directing. Both Mike and Teri went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. The up lighting was a perfect touch to our dance floor and many of our guest thought the monogrammed lighting was the coolest thing ever, both being a great add. We did not have to worry about anything for our reception. From the start Teri made sure each of our vendors had all of their items in place and ready to go before guest got to the venue. During the wedding she made sure Ty and I, along with our entire bridal party was ready and prepared for everything you can think of, she had it covered. They made sure our wedding ran so smooth allowing us, our wedding party, and our guest to have fun without any interruptions. Mike kept our dance floor busy and our guest entertained the entire night. We could not have been more impressed with DMS. Our favorite story we got the night of our wedding was from a 90 year old couple. They approached us and said they have never been to such an amazing wedding and our wedding was the first time they stayed at a wedding until the end. We owe a huge thanks to DMS for our perfect night!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! Digital music services and DJ Rex absolutely made our reception and we had and absolute blast! Our guests told us how much they enjoyed the reception and how awesome DJ Rex is! We could not have asked for a better company!

"Mike was the absolute best. My whole wedding planning experience was a
piece of cake, but I really had trouble choosing a DJ. Friends and family
recommended me to plenty of different options of different price ranges. The
music at your wedding sets the mood for everyone there and it is a big
decision. Mike made things so easy and simple. His documents made sure not a
single thing was forgotten and he was there to answer any questions I had
and recommendations when I was stuck. He definitely knows what he is doing.
We choose to use their coordinator services as well. He made sure everything
went as scheduled and adjusted anything that needed to be adjusted. I would
100% recommend to use digital music services. If you are stuck on who to
pick, think no further. Mike is the one to use for your piece of mind and a
great event.

Mike & Teri are truly the best at what they do! When I got engaged and
began the wedding planning, it was a no brainer who my DJ & Photo Booth

My wife and I used Digital Music Services for our wedding on May 12th, 2018. Mr Mike and Mrs Teri did an amazing job, not only are they professional but they are both wonderful people. They handled all of the coordinating for the wedding and the reception. From beginning to end they were attentive and engaged in all aspects of our day. I cannot brag enough on their attention to detail and ability to keep the reception flowing. At one point we were having trouble bustling the dress before the reception and here comes Mrs Teri to save the day and get everything straight. They have an incredible amount of experience and truly make you feel special. Having them help with our wedding was the best decision we could have made. I very highly recommend them for any function or wedding, they are amazing and will give you and your event 110%. Thanks to both of them for helping make our wedding so special.

Mike and Teri were absolutely the best decision we made when planning our wedding! Their attention to detail and making sure everything flowed smoothly was greatly appreciated. Mike was so easy to communicate with and had tons of helpful hints and reminders as we planned for the big day. I could not recommend his team more, they were absolutely phenomenal! (His assistant even jumped on the dance floor to help us when we were struggling with the moves for one of the line dances!)

I'm very thankful that I chose Digital Music Services for my photo booth. Ms. Teri was so nice and easy to work with. Hours before the wedding, I called her to ask a couple questions. Ms. Teri answered my questions and alleviated all worries I had concerning issues regarding her services. The photo booth was an absolute hit! For the whole time they were there, the line was several people deep, but very quick moving. People didn't stand in line for more than a few minutes before getting a chance to jump in. We LOVED the Photo Booth guest book that we were able to take home THAT NIGHT! The guest book included all the photos our guests had taken throughout the night, along with their signatures and well wishes. We also received a photo disk and pictures were also posted on their website, which we didn't get a chance to view yet, but I'm sure it's great! Ms. Teri and her assistant were a great addition to a perfect day! Thanks Digital Music!

Mike was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. I did not know that someone needed to be there to approve the position, so there was a miscommunication on that, but everything else was perfect. I would definitely recommend them.

Mr. Mike & Mrs. Terri are unbelievably good at what they do! They are so much more than just the music at your wedding. I think if anyone is as hesitant as I am when choosing a DJ... this is where they need to come. After meeting the first time, I felt like I could not have picked better. Then after our last meeting, all of my worries and stress (from every aspect of the wedding not only music) went right away! I wanted a specific song to walk down the aisle to and at first, it was not going to happen. My walk was rather long and the only version of the song I could find was short. These two worked so hard to make it happen! After the ceremony, they had the party going nonstop! Everyone loved them and our guests of all ages were entertained throughout the night. Thanks again for everything! Y'all are amazing and two of the sweetest people I have ever met.

I can't thank digital music services enough!! My original photo booth company backed out on me weeks before my wedding. Ms Teri picked up my wedding with no questions!! From the first email to the night of the wedding they covered all the details. All my guests had a blast in the photo booth and we received an amazing album and cd with all photos that were taken night of our wedding!! One of the best companies out there in my opinion.

Sooo when me and my now husband met with Mr. Mike the last thing we expected was to walk out 3 hours later feeling so relieved. Not only does he rock at being a DJ, but when it comes to wedding stress in general he was there to help in ANY AND EVERY way. During my wedding he made sure every single thing for the reception was going smoothly. The music was amazing and the service was even better. People are now saying "your dj was awesome, he was so involved" and I say "I know, he's the best!" I recommend these guys 100%!!!

Mike and Teri went above and beyond for the lead up to the rehearsal and wedding. Having never done any kind of wedding planning before , Mike helped my wife and I navigate the overwhelming world of putting together a wedding. He provided guidance but was not pushy, he reminded us at the end of the day it is our day and our happiness was the goal. Communication was easy and he always had an answer to our questions or could point us in the right direction. They succeeded. From the sound at the wedding to the music at the reception, everything was A+. They made the chaos of the wedding day easy like Sunday morning. He asked us what we wanted to hear and what we did not want to hear. The dance floor at our reception was never empty thanks to Mike. I would definitely recommend DMS.

From the first meeting to the wedding, everything was on point. The time spent with Digital Music services was well spent. Mike helped us with the timing and cues. There is no one that could have done a better job. It was fantastic.

OMG this was, by far, one of the best things about my wedding reception!!! Everyone complimented me on how awesome the photo booth and props were! Everyone at my reception had a blast with it! If ever y'all were wondering if having a photo booth for your reception would be worth it, my answer would be HECK YES, but only from digital music services! I looked around before I picked them because I wanted to pick the one who had everything like at least a 4 hr rental, lots of great props, an album for me to keep, a big enough photo booth and a way for people to go on the website and see all the pictures taken and Digital Music Service had all of that for an exceptional price! They exceeded my expectations! Well worth the money! Thanks DMS!!!

Mike with DMS did a fantastic job at our wedding. He was very attentive to our needs, and as we are big music fans, they were very specific. He was clear on how to properly set up our wedding, cocktail and reception playlist. He had great suggestions when we needed them, particularly with the bridal march. Very professional job at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him for a wedding or any large party.

It was an absolute pleasure having Mike at our wedding. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and made the planning effortless. He has developed a thorough system that enables him to provide the exact experience you are looking for. I would recommend Digital Music Services to anyone needing music for any event. He was especially helpful for us in planning our wedding and he was a huge help at the ceremony. Mike showed up early for us in the rain and helped us to coordinate every vendor and every transition throughout the night. We couldn't have done it without him! He was very thoughtful and completely involved. We definitely would have missed out on a couple of very special memories that night if it hadn't been for his efforts and his sincerity. Mike and his team are the best, hands down. From custom lighting graphics and displays to his ability to adapt to any and all adversities during the night, he definitely saved the day for us. Digital Music Service was extremely professional. Mike and Teri held meetings with us to find out exactly what we wanted. During the reception Mike coordinated to keep the reception moving with bouquet toss, garter toss, money dance, cake cutting and all the other special things that are part of the reception. Teri was wonderful at the photo booth. The guest loved the photo booth. This was one of the highlights of the reception. I would recommend Digital Music Service to everybody planning a wedding.

Digital Music Services was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. From the first day we met Mr Mike he was so helpful and treated us like family. He not only was our DJ but also coordinated our wedding. He made sure that our day was stress free and everything we dreamed it to be. Everything was organized down to the forms we had to fill out. Digital Music Services completely provided my every need in a DJ for our wedding reception! During the planning process Mike was EXTREMELY helpful. Not only did he provide advice for choosing a DJ, but also informed me of other helpful tips for our reception! Each time I spoke with Mike I felt completely taken care of and very comfortable with my decision with DMS. Our DJ Rex was phenomenal! During the reception everything flowed effortlessly. He even followed the schedule of events flawlessly! The entire time everyone was on the dance floor. Most of the time the dance floor was completely taken over by guests dancing to the music. Most couples fear that the reception won' t be fun or people won't get into the music, I was one of them. Rex totally took control and everyone LOVED him! Mike was amazingly accommodating for my wedding this past April! He understands the importance of being organized, which as a perfectionist, I can definitely appreciate! I knew I did not need to worry about everything being under control when it came to Digital Music Services. He was very thorough every time that we would meet, and he made sure to cover every detail. He also was not afraid to lead you in the right direction when your wedding dreams seemed to go astray, which is very necessary when you get really wrapped up in what you think will happen and forget about what might actually happen. As a bride who requires the best, I would recommend using Digital Music Services for your wedding DJ, lighting specialist AND photo booth vendor!!! (I had all three!!!)

Mike and Rex (our dj for the day) made our wedding great! I was scared that having an afternoon reception would result in no one dancing, but Rex was AMAZING about encouraging the guests to get on the dance floor! He even danced a few times with us! From the background music when guests were arriving, to the ceremony, down to the last dance - the music made my day.

The planning leading up to my wedding was made so much easier through Mike's advice, insight, and experience. He made the whole experience fool proof.

I cannot recommend DMS too much! Truly the best in Lafayette!

Mike with DMS was an absolute dream to work with. From the beginning of the wedding planning, Mike was quick to respond to emails and phone calls, which was extremely helpful in the planning process. We ultimately chose DMS over other vendors because of a combination of reasonable prices, services offered, and professionalism in communication early on. Other vendors that we contacted would sometimes not respond to emails or calls, or would dodge certain questions, and we didn't feel confident trusting our wedding day to them. With Mike, he always responded immediately, and was very accommodating to our busy schedules.

After securing DMS, Mike was very straight forward and clear about what would happen and when, regarding the planning leading up to the wedding. We found this very helpful, because it took all of the guesswork out of the planning, gave us a schedule we could stick to for budgeting and other wedding planning, and took away the stress of unknown details weighing over our heads. He was very thorough and specific when getting information from us regarding our wishes for the wedding day, which made us feel very confident that everything would be exactly as we wanted and pictured.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Mike actually contacted all of our other vendors and provided a brief rundown of the schedule for the day, so that everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, he was phenomenal. He was there to guide us every second of the way, all while running the whole vibe of our ceremony and reception with his DJ skills. He was there for so many little things that I would have never thought of ahead of time. Examples are sporadically handing us a glass of water so that we stayed hydrated, and pulling us off to the side immediately after the money dance, so that we could get all that money off of us and get it to a safe place/person. He guided the entire event and it was absolutely perfect!

WoW! What a fabulous night for a great engagement party. The Photo Booth was the hit of the party right after the food truck, food, wine and beer and all that attended. It makes the crazy be crazier and the shy come out.
Every day we see a photo from this event and laugh and enjoy via facebook. It will always be part of my parties from now on. Thanks to Teri and Emily for great pictures and very creative props. It's the morning after our wedding but I couldn't wait any longer to leave this review. Mike was AMAZING!!! I have never heard so many people comment on how much they loved a dj. From the moment I met Mike I loved him, but last night was the icing on the cake. Not only did he play fabulous music but he also kept the crowd involved and entertained the whole night. He was very adaptable to some last minute changes we made and also threw in a few surprise that we loved! I can honestly say that without Mike, our wedding would have not been as fun. If you are stressing your wedding at all please be sure to book Mike!! Not only is he an amazing DJ but i think i would have killed someone if i didn't have him there on my day!!! The BEST decision I made for my wedding was hiring Digital Music Services. I only regret that I hadn't hired them sooner to help coordinate the ceremony and reception. Mike and Teri are absolutely wonderful to work with. Digital Music Services provided the music for both my ceremony and reception, as well as up lights and a monogram. For the ceremony, the music kept everything flowing smoothly, and Mike provided wireless microphone that was very convenient for the officiant. The reception music was exactly what I wanted and had the dance floor filled until the end. The up lights and monogram added to the delightful ambiance of our reception. Mike is VERY organized, professional, and insightful. He and Teri checked in and offered help every step of the way. I also opted for Mike to coordinate the flow of my reception, which was perfect. Mike makes it his ultimate goal to make things go according to plan, however he was very helpful in quickly switching things up when I made a last minute change of plans. His neat wedding planning forms (although overwhelming to think about) were very thorough, and really helped to lay out all details. Meeting times were extremely flexible!! I really enjoyed the VIP section of his website which offers several resources to use when planning a wedding. I highly recommend their services to anyone!

Our whole experience with Digital Music Services was AMAZING! From the up lights to monograms, they provided the atmosphere we wanted for the wedding. Everything was well placed and absolutely beautiful. The DJ service made the reception one of the best experiences according to our guests. He did a great job as MC throughout the evening. I emailed Teri to see if she could do another(we had used her for our son a couple of years earlier & loved her) wedding for us & she responded right away. Always answers back quickly. A pleasure to work with. So easy to fill out paperwork. Payment was done in 2 installments which was nice. Once at the wedding, Teri has as much fun with us as the invited guests. She made everyone feel so welcome in the photo booth. I can't say enough about how nice & fun it was to have them with us that night. I recommend her to anyone who wants to have a great reminder of the wedding guests. the album she makes for the couple is something to keep for sure. My daughter & son-in-law even took it on their honeymoon to look at.

Mike helped us to create the prefect wall lighting monogram for my wedding reception. He matched the color of the monogram perfectly to the colors of our wedding. If your looking to add a little something extra to your wedding or reception definitely look into their wall monograms.

If you're getting married in the Lafayette, LA area and you aren't going with Mike @ Digital Music Services, you're making a HUGE mistake. My husband and I used them for our Ceremony and Reception music, as well as our rehearsal coordinating. We both agree that Digital Music Services was the BEST investment we made on our wedding day, and they were by far the most enjoyable vendor to work with throughout the whole process! We never had a problem getting in touch with them, and never had a problem scheduling a meeting. The rate was VERY reasonable for the amount of time put in, and for the quality of service we received. I was really surprised that they offer to do an itinerary for your Wedding Day, and also coordinate the rehearsal. They were VERY organized, and THOROUGH on all the details. I feel like DMS is the only reason our rehearsal / wedding day flowed smoothly! Haha. They also really make sure you are getting what YOU want. Aside from the AMAZING services DMS provides, they are an absolute DREAM to work with. Mike was very professional, but also almost made us feel like we were family. It was a real blessing to find DMS for our special day, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for the services they provide!

Mr. Mike Schnauder was very instrumental on how the wedding reception flowed. He worked amazingly along with our bride and groom. He sent out his itinerary to all parts of our orchestra so there was no guess work when it was time to enjoy the big day. Our photographer said that was the first time she had a schedule of exactly how the events would unfold at the reception and it flowed beautiful. Mr. Mike has many years of experience in the business and continues to educate himself on the new trends.

We found that Mike and Teri both went out of their way to make us happy and help us in any way they could. The music for the chapel and reception were awesome. Mike found the special song my daughter wanted to walk down the aisle to with no hesitation on his part, he was very accommodating in every respect. Great DJ and great service.

Mike and Teri were such a pleasure to work with. We were so very pleased as were our guest who enjoyed themselves. the bride and groom as well as I were able to enjoy ourselves the entire time and everything was handled because they had the itinerary down to minute by minute.
My guest enjoyed the photo booth and commented they had never been to a wedding with one,....it was so funny watching what was going on behind those curtains the next morning. The memories we will have are because of their great work.

We used Mike and Teri for our wedding and they were awesome!! Mike made the planning process extremely easy and also went above and beyond to help with areas outside of his realm if asked about them! He is very professional, knows his business inside and out, has a very informative website (especially the vip section)and if you ask something that he isn't sure of, he finds out in a timely manner! He listened toaid and have us exactly what we wanted! Teri was also very helpful when dealing with the photo-booth! She took the time to make our logo while I was there so it would be what we wanted and also with our floor lighting!
Our wedding reception was a huge hit because of them and people are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding! The dance floor stayed packed the whole night and there was always a line at the photo-booth! Thank you digital music services for making our night special...we had a blast!!

I was impressed by the professionalism of the whole crew. Right after the first meeting I felt very confortable and at ease. I wanted to have music from the Congo as I am orriginaly from there and Mike included it in the wedding playlist with no problem. I did not have to worry about anything because Mike and Teri had my back all the way. I could not expect a better service. If you need a DJ / photobooth service for your wedding Digital Music Service is teh way to go.

I was lucky to have some great vendors for my wedding, but Mike with Digital Music services was the best. I didn't expect much from the DJ, I figured it was pretty straight forward. Mike went over all sorts of details with me about how the night would flow, stuff I never would've thought about, and it wasn't even dealing with the music. After our meeting I felt very confident in how the night would play out. He was also very interested in making our wedding music tailored just for us. You could tell he's been doing this for a while and he knows what he's talking about. I will always recommend him. Oh, and he was one of the best prices too!

Mike was the DJ at my son's wedding reception. He turned my family into dancing monsters! We had a blast. Prior to that night, he worked with us to ensure he had the names of people to announce correct, the order of the night and versions of songs correct. He worked with the other vendors to make sure they were all aware of the flow of the evening. He did a great job and we had a LOT of fun.

Digital Music Services was the very first vendor that I picked and I'm so glad I did. Mike was amazing through out the entire process. He had forms on his site to help you change your name and other little things that help you that you never really think about. He played the music for our ceremony and reception. Guests were really impressed with the variety of music and he really worked the crowd well. He played zydeco for the older crowd and later in the evening he switched it up to the younger gen. stuff. I absolutely loved him. Such a swell guy and his partner Ms. Terry runs the photo booth which we also booked. We received so many compliments on both services and we were really impressed. Everyone participated in the photo booth and it stayed busy all night. Great Value for everything too. Thanks again to Mike and Terry!! -Rachelle

Mike at Digital Music Services was our wedding reception DJ and was a pleasure to work with. The website was really helpful during the planning process and he was able to answer all my questions! And when I changed my mind (at the last minute!) about our introduction, he was very accommodating. He played a variety of music plus was a great MC. I especially enjoyed how he introduced a "married couple dance/game"! Everyone had a great time on the dance floor at our reception!!

This is the best DJ in Lafayette!! I searched for a long time and Mike was able to fullfill every need that I wanted! Anything that I requested was taken care of! I have no other choice for a DJ for any future occasions ... I will just call Digital Music Services!!!

My husband and I have used Digital Music Services for many parties and of course for our wedding. There is NO comparison to the level of professionalism and care they put into making your special day perfect. They are very reasonably priced, but more importantly - they are experienced. They work with your photographer and videographer (many of whom they know well from all the years in the business) to make sure every detail is accounted for and captured. Nothing is left out. The DJ can create the atmosphere you want for your wedding and I wouldn't leave that up to just anyone. Mike will meet with you throughout the entire planning process and goes above and beyond what you would expect your DJ to do. Digital Music Services helped make our wedding one that our guests will never forget!!!

We used digital music services photo booth for our daughter's wedding. They were great, very professional and loved that they gave the bride and groom an album filled with copies of all the photos taken.

I took off 1/2 pt. because of a mixup between this company and another vendor. Honestly, it really wasn't Digital Music Services fault but I would have preferred not to get involved during the reception.

Everything went smoothly. Planned everything from out of town. The photo booth attendants were very nice and helpful. Great pops. When times were slow a little more coaxing of the guest would have been good. Unfortunately the booth was inside , Reception activities were outside. I wish I made a list of picture to take W/ certain people. to not forget a few special people.
