The Diamond Empire Band was fantastic and one of the best parts of our wedding! The dance floor was packed up until the last song and had everyone chanting for an encore. They were incredibly easy to work with and very thorough on communicating their needs, suggested timelines, and other details to think through. -

Having Diamond Empire Band as our wedding band was the best decision we made. I was so impressed with their organization and attentiveness leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day itself, they were professional and adaptable when scheduling issues appeared or when last second changes were made on our end. Their calm and confident attitude made me feel calm. Speaking of the bands performance…WOW. They are so talented, energetic, and passionate about their music and performance. I have never seen my friends and family dance harder than they did at my wedding all thanks to the band. I truly never wanted it to end. I could not recommend Diamond Empire Band more to anyone looking for a band. You will not regret it. -

Diamond Empire Band provided the live music at our wedding and defined the night. They performed a string duo for our ceremony, and provided music for our cocktail hour and reception. They played a huge variety of music that was matched to our theme. We had a seven piece band for most of the night - having a violin meant we got the unique Devil Went Down to Georgia experience. The energy DEB brings was great, even for a group of people that aren't big dancers. We got everyone to get out onto the floor and have fun! -

We worked with Dee and his band for our wedding in November - and it was absolutely amazing! Dee was great to work with leading up to the event, gathering all the right information to make the performance during our weekend perfect and uniquely us. We got the 7 piece band because we really wanted the horns - and have no regrets! They were a huge hit with our family and friends, and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. Highly recommend! -

We had the absolute best experience with The Diamond Empire Band at our wedding! They were incredible from start to finish. We didn’t give them a music list at all—just told them our goal was to keep everyone on the dance floor all night… and they delivered perfectly.
The energy, the talent, the flow of the night—everything was on point. They read the crowd effortlessly and kept the party going without a single dull moment. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the band was and how much fun they had.

Everything from start to finish was perfect - including having Zakk as our Event Producer was GREAT. Julius and Devon AND OF COURSE the rest of the band were AMAZING!!!! They were able to get us out of a little pickle with 'walking in music' which was SO SO APPRECIATED and WE DANCED ALL NIGHT!!!! We gave them little direction insofar as music goes - just stated we wanted to dance - AND DANCE WE DID!!!! We had one request for The Hora and they pulled it off seamlessly!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS!!! We wanted to do it all over again it was that good!!! -

As I start this review, after the most magical and wonderful wedding ever, it is truly hard for me to articulate just how incredible the Diamond Empire Band is and how they made such a big impact on our wedding! Oh my goodness, each band member is so insanely talented! I could listen to them all night! Zakk is wonderfully organized and the planning portal was great to get all the information, chat with the team, and see the details of the night. Throughout the planning process, I appreciated Zakk’s consistent and prompt correspondence, whether through email or phone call, and all the answers he had to my many questions, all answered with a positive attitude and willingness to help.
On my wedding day, I was so excited to see The Diamond Empire Band and the rest of the team. From the moment they arrived, they were on task and ready to go! The team was so professional, on time, and had a vast knowledge of knowing how the wedding process flows from transition to transition. They played our songs for our ceremony, had a beautiful guitarist and pianist for our cocktail hour, and our eight person band ROCKED the night with insane vocals, incredible musicians, and an energy that captured everyone from song to song.
The Diamond Empire team is efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and a joy to be around the day of my wedding. Everyone around me was so impressed with their poise and kindness, making the day feel even better. The team was flexible with timing, positive through every step of the way, and so talented in their work. I found that their genuine compassion, love for their art, and kindness made everyone, including me, feel at ease and we all had the best time from start to finish! I cannot recommend The Diamond Empire enough and am grateful for, not only their expert and fantastic performance and music, but also their genuine desire to make our day wonderful and their kindness through every step of the way. Thank you Zakk and Diamond Empire Band, we are forever grateful to you! -

We hired the Diamond Empire Band for our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the very beginning, they were super communicative and incredibly accommodating with every request we had, which made the whole planning process so much easier. Aubrie, in particular, was wonderful to work with — she took care of every detail and made sure everything ran smoothly. The band’s performance was phenomenal and truly made the night unforgettable. We are so glad we hired Diamond Empire Band to play at our wedding!
After seeing them at a wedding in 2021, we KNEW we had to have them. The energy they bring is unmatched. Our dancefloor was packed the entire night!
We hired at 5 piece band. They played great music during cocktail hour, curated a great playlist during dinner, and then brought the heat during dancing! The MC was a 10/10, as well!
We received so many compliments on the music and so many questions on who the band was and where we found them.
Dee was responsive to all our questions and the online platform was super easy to use.
If you're thinking of hiring a band for your wedding, Diamond Empire is the way to go! -

DEB rocked our wedding! We had so much fun and they were amazingly easy to work with and flexible to make the most of our package across the different parts of the evening (cocktail hour, ceremony, reception, etc). Great musicians and a perfect choice if you want the energy of a stellar live band that will play all the jams. So many of our guests said the band and dancing was a true highlight of the wedding! -

If you are looking for a wedding band, look no further! Diamond Empire Band put on an amazing performance. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! We had so many guests telling us that this was the best band they have ever heard at a wedding and that they loved dancing the night way. We went with a 7 piece band and an MC for our wedding. DEB helped make our wedding day perfect, everything I imagined it would be. Our coordinator, Zakk, was also amazing to work with. From our initial first call to the final call, he was so detailed oriented, answered all our questions and helped ensure the day of would run according to our timeline. He went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect! -

Diamond Empire Band was recommended to us when we were looking for a band to hire for our wedding in Santa Fe, NM, we hired them not hearing them play ahead of time. They were worth every dollar we spent on them. Before the wedding they were professional and organized and great at answering our questions. At our wedding they had everyone at our wedding dancing to great music and they kept the guests dancing during their breaks with tailored playlists. They played classics and current music that had all ages of guests enjoying every moment of the music at our wedding. Dee handled the whole event so that we did not have to worry about any of the music/MC during our event. Diamond Empire Band was helpful in making our wedding an epic event! -

From the initial planning, Elijah at DEB made coordinating the band performance easy and extremely organized (their online planning dashboard is excellent!). Even with the challenge or traveling to and setting up at remote Piney River Ranch, the band was on time and very professional. They put on an absolutely amazing performance that still has our guests talking about how much fun they were. Coming from Texas, my wife and I had lots of country song requests from artists like Chris Stapleton, Wade Bowen and Kacey Musgraves that were out of the band's normal playlist. However, they took the time before to learn these new songs and play them in a way that just blew everyone away. They also played plenty of fun rock and pop songs that had everyone out dancing and singing along! A huge shout out to lead singers Rachel and Hunter along with all of the other band members for truly making our wedding reception extra special. Your renditions of Golden Hour and Tennessee Whisky were especially meaningful!!
As a note for those considering DEB for an event away from Denver in the mountains, be sure to factor in hotel costs for the band members when budgeting. This is a very fair requirement from the band to to ensure their safety from getting on the road for the long drive back after a long, amazing night of playing great music. This extra cost was around $1500 dollars for the required hotel rooms during peak summer season in Vail. -

We had the best night of our lives thanks to the Diamond Empire Band. Dee was a prompt communicator and wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and then braved snowy, winter weather in Telluride for our March wedding. Our guests had incredible things to say about the music for our cocktail hour and reception. We will be reliving it for a lifetime. THANK YOU! -

If you're getting married and considering a live band, you need to stop what you're doing and book Diamond Empire Band right now. They are truly the reason that we had the best night of our lives and kept the wedding dance floor moving all night long. Our friends and family have still not stopped raving about how much fun the band was. Before the event we went through what kinds of music we like with them and they customized an entire set list for the event. They also learned our first dance song for us and made it such a special moment... I even saw some tears from my parents during that song. The singers can also be your MC through the night and keep a perfect timeline, this made ALL the vendors very happy and on the same page. The price is absolutely worth it considering they are only a few hundred dollars more than a normal DJ. I could go on all day because they were truly the highlight of the evening. -

I honestly did very little research and was going off of a single friend's recommendation when booking Diamond Empire. And wow, I am so happy I did! They brought so much energy, sounded fantastic and played music we all loved. I would book them a thousand times over. -

Diamond Empire Band kept the energy going all night long for our wedding! We had the 7-piece band and they were incredible!
The band played songs that kept the party vibes going all night, everyone smiling and dancing the night away.
Despite having to postpone our wedding four times due to COVID-19, they were accommodating to work with, so forgiving and easy going! Excellent partners to us throughout the planning process.
They’re also extremely organized and experienced. Their experience shines through during the planning process, mad MC skills, singing and musical variety. We couldn’t be happier with the evening! They made it so much fun and our guests were smiling and dancing all night long.
The evening was effortless for us and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We couldn’t have asked for a better band to work with for our wedding. We wouldn’t change a thing! 🤍 -

All communication was clear and Zakk was great to work with, it was clear they knew what they were doing and were very organized. We had heard them at another wedding and decided to book them (we booked the 6 piece band and MC service). The band at our reception was INCREDIBLE, people cannot stop talking about how amazing they were! People were dancing all night! The drummer even gave our 1 year old daughter drum sticks and let her play with him during a song! If you want a band at your wedding, we 100% recommend you use Diamond Empire. The band members were fun, energetic and so nice! We wish we could hear them play more often! -

All in all, Zakk was very accommodating leading up to our THREE planned events... lol. We weren't very easy to work with because we had to cancel two wedding attempts and Zakk did a good job making us feel like the band cared enough about us to continue willingly making every change we threw at him. That includes us ultimately cancelling everything after the second reschedule and then Zakk being open and willing to reinstate the agreement and put a third party together. He was professional and up front about the needs of the band through this crazy process and I consider it a positive experience through to the end - which was unbelievable. When it finally came time to actually execute this party, the communication was prompt, the band was prompt, the setup was flawless, every member of the band was accommodating, and the performance was everything we'd hoped for and more. We'd recommend Diamond Empire to anyone who is serious about having a serious band represent them at their party and put on an unprecedented show. All good things and all good feedback from everyone in attendance. Thank you to the upmost sincerity. We truly loved it and so did everyone else. -

Diamond Empire is great to work with and helps make the process of planning a band super easy. We loved having them make our day all the more special with live music during the reception. they sounded amazing and added to all the memories we have of our reception. Live music kept everyone dancing and enjoying the night all the way till last call! We had a six piece band with sax and it was definitely worth the price. Elijah and our band were OUTSTANDING. We had very specific requests for the band for songs/artist we did/did not want to hear and they nailed it. We requested songs ranging from Talking Heads to Van Morrison and every song was executed so beautifully. I've been to so many weddings and there wasn't one guest not on the dance floor for our band. I cannot rave enough how amazing this band was and would hire them again in a heartbeat. I would HIGHLY recommend the 9-piece!! We had a great experience with Diamond Empire Band. I was pretty "in the zone" before/during the ceremony, but all the guests said the ceremony guitarist was amazing. Then a jazz trio from the band played during cocktail hour. It was a really nice addition to that hour. Then the full 5-piece band played a few sets throughout the reception and they were a ton of fun. Lots of high energy songs that guests of all ages enjoyed. Many of the guests later told me how happy they were with the band. I would definitely recommend! -

My one “must-have” was a live band. We had a destination wedding so we weren’t able to hear the D.O.B. before booking but we went on a limb based on previous reviews and it was 100% worth it. Their band manager Elijah was lovely to work with. He gigs a lot so don’t delay on communication, but he makes and keeps appointments and is easy to talk to. The band received info and needs from you in an organized way and the day of the wedding was extremely smooth and a lot of fun. Plenty of varying genres of music and they were so talented! -

Hands down one of the best parts of our wedding day! The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone complimented us on how great the band was. I seriously can't get over how amazing DEB was and how much fun we had because of them. They even performed a live rendition of baby shark and everyone, not just the 2 year old ring bearer, absolutely loved it! The little stuff like that really made our night. DEB managed the crowd extremely well and we enjoyed all of their music.
Elijah was very easy to work with during the planning stage and is very knowledgeable. There was a lot of information provided up-front, but we appreciated the transparency and having all of the information, pricing, and details at the beginning. DEB really knows what they're doing and we are so pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend them! -

From the start they were great with communciation planning. We were able to select specific musicians and they learned a song for our first dance. We had them do a jazz trio for our cocktail hour and 8-piece band for the reception. They brought a great energy and got everyone young to old on the dance floor. We got so many compliments from our guests about them. And they were so nice and professional to work with. We recommend for sure! -

Oh my gosh, this vendor is kick ass. I had relatives who I never knew could dance and the night of my wedding, everyone was getting down on the dance floor. Truly amazed as my grandparents at 60 years of marriage had never ever ancestor together before but even they were on the dance floor. You guys made my night so special. They really coordinated my entire after party with the bouquet toss, couples game and all. Made it stress free. Love those guys! Amazing bassist, charismatic lead and backup singers, everyone was laughing and smiling the entire night. -

We heard them play at the Hard Rock Cafe earlier and new this was the one. Scheduling, payment, communication was so easy. The band was amazing, each and every member. They know that it's the most important day for everyone, and they didn't skip a beat. Special thanks to Olivia and Hunter! You will not go wrong choosing the band. After listening to the sample CD they sent, we had to have them. We booked the 6 piece band for our reception. They were very upfront with all their prices and were very accommodating when I asked them to learn a few special songs for us. As the event got closer, they were easy to work with to add in a PA system and setup for our ceremony (no easy task considering the ceremony was on top of a mountain that required you to take a gondola up... oh and it was winter during peak ski season), as well as cocktail hour music. During the reception, they kept the dance floor packed and moving! They are professional and amazing performers. You will not regret hiring them!

Vocalist/manager Emily Merrell is fantastic to work with -- super responsive, helpful, and flexible. She worked with us to find a way to get the most bang for our buck as far as the ensemble we hired, and then she worked with us on song selection and notes for MCing. Most importantly, the reception was a blast thanks to DEB! Our guests have been raving about how awesome the band was. I'm so glad we decided to go with live music and with Diamond Empire Band.
