Gorgeous flowers

Bernadette did a wonderful job on the flowers. We started planning this wedding around June 2019 and met her around November- December. We were supposed to have out wedding July 2020, but due to the pandemic, we pushed our wedding back twice, each time Bernadette being flexible and acomidaiting! We kept changing and adding things that we wanted, and Bernadette followed exactly what we wanted! The centerpieces, the bouquet, the boutonnieres and the flowers for the arch turned out beautifully! I loved the bouquet so much, I'm going to hang dry them and press them so I can put it in a picture frame! I want to keep it forever! I just wish I could keep the flowers for the arch! My mom took it and is displaying it in the kitchen! Lol! Thank you so much Bernadette for adding the extra touch that made our wedding that much beautiful!

Exceeded Expectations

My husband and I got married on 12/14 in Port Gamble. We found Bernadette and met with her in June. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, kind, professional, and an artist. She helped us cut costs without sacrificing quality and our wedding arrangements exceeded our expectations. If you can hire her, I 100% suggest that you should.

You will have a Blast with Bernadette!

We tried to invite the florist to our wedding. This is how much we loved her and wanted her to just spend time with us on our big day. She is not only hilarious, but just all around a great person to work with. I showed her my pintrest board and let her know what I was looking for. She did an absolutely amazingly stunning job, and the day would not have turned out so amazingly beautiful without her. The venue we picked out was already gorgeous, so limited work was needed. However, the work Bernadette did, was just jaw dropping. Everyone was floored by the décor, and they will be talking about our wedding for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for making our wildest dreams come true. I will recommend Bernadette to everyone and anyone, heck, I just want to go hang out with her and get a drink! Haha, but that is how amazing of a vendor she is. Thank you again!

Pacific Northwest Elegance!

How do I even begin to express how much I loved working with Bernadette? She brought our vision completely to life and then made it better. I wanted to have lots of PNW greenery and some white blooms, but I didn't have many specifics in mind other than local and seasonal. The proposal she put together for us was amazing and we said yes right away! Everything from the eucalyptus to the blue thistles was just so perfect. She even put into words what I was looking for in all aspects of the wedding "Pacific Northwest Elegance". Bingo! She was so easy to work with, flexible with last minute changes, and so cheery and fun to chat with. I loved my bouquet, the boutonnieres, the garlands, the centerpieces, all of it! And our flower girl was overjoyed by her beautiful crown. I could gush about her forever!

I could not recommend Bernadette's services more! She did the floral and decor for our wedding in September 2018. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted everything to look, but had difficulty articulating it. Bernadette was able to take exactly what I was thinking and make it a reality. My bouquet was very pretty and unique! Not to mention, she is professional and kind. On top of all that, extremely affordable for the quality!

Bernadette is amazing! She did a great job executing the vision I had for our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased with how all the floral arrangements turned out. Considering with how much of a planner I am, there were lots of Pinterest ideas I wanted to incorporate for our wedding. She was incredibly responsive and flexible with meeting with me whenever I had a new idea to make sure we were on the same page. The bouquets and boutonnières were stunning as well as table decorations and the arbor center piece was breathtaking! Bernadette pulled together beautiful greenery and white/ivory flowers that I would've never thought to do on my own. She has an incredible eye for design and the level of detail she put towards our wedding was one for the books. I can't express it enough how wonderful everything turned out and how much compliments we received at our wedding. We highly recommend Diamond Custom Floral!!!

Working with Bernadette (Diamond Custom Floral) was fantastic. During our first meeting my fiancee (now husband) and I had no idea what kinds of flowers or arrangements we wanted and Bernadette was super helpful and made some great recommendations. She took what ideas I had, mainly pictures from Pinterest and created beautiful centerpieces, aisle pieces, and bouquets. I loved every piece and I am so happy how everything turned. Bernadette was so amazing to work with. She truly is an artist with flowers, and she managed to create exactly what I wanted even when I wasn't 100% sure myself! She worked with me over the phone and over email and made the whole process so fun. I only used her services for the ceremony flowers, but I was completely blown away by the bouquet and floral crown that she made for me. Owner Bernadette helped me to establish and execute the vision for our wedding in August. We had quite a few items (custom arbor, aisle runner, votives, and lots of table arrangements) to design and lots of family in need of flowers. Bernadette was responsive and comfortable using Pinterest to really 'get' our vision. She also included little personal touches, such as incorporating green hops into our boutonnières since my father is an avid home brewer.

Bernadette from Diamond Custom Floral is absolutely THE woman you want by your side in order to plan your dream wedding. She loves what she does and has a true passion for her work. Her floral creations look like art pieces, so much so that my family and friends all took the centerpieces home and displayed them long after the wedding festivities ended. More importantly, she has a calm, yet forward way of working with you that really helped me to clarify my vision. I was the bride who got suckered into the world of Pinterest - thinking that it would give me so many good ideas for color scheme, theme, tone, and flowers of course - this was not the case. Rather, it felt like I was falling down the rabbit hole of wedding DIY, craziness and what not. In my first meeting I showed her my Pinterest page and explained my confusion and difficulty narrowing my vision. Within the hour she had helped me achieve something that I had spent weeks and weeks thinking about. She has such a fine tuned eye for what looks classy and elegant - how different styles, decor and floral pieces work together. We settled on a romantic, classy feel will a touch of elegance and color scheme of blush, marsala, greenery and a bit of gold. We got together a few more times before the wedding to confirm table numbers, theme, colors and what not - whenever I started going down the rabbit hole again of 'Oh maybe wine cork picture frames would be a nice touch...' she carefully would redirect me towards my vision and help pull me out again! I should mention she gets all her flowers from local organic flower markets and all of my guests remarked on how naturally fragrant all of the flowers were - something we dont realize is missing from the typical Safeway everyday bouquets. She also puts a touch of mint in the bouquets making them extra fragrant and beautiful. In the end, our wedding turned out amazingingly beautiful and the bouquets, centerpieces and everything were absolutely lovely!!!

At our very first meeting her friendliness and charm put me at ease, and I knew I was in good hands. She was always very friendly, super accommodating with our planning schedule, meeting times, and locations, and very quick at responding to ANY and all questions I had (via phone or email). She was helpful and knowledgeable about flower options, to try and obtain the look I wanted, with different flowers that still matched my look but were in season. On my wedding day my flowers were absolutely perfect. They were arranged and displayed beautifully, and were completely stunning. I hired Bernadette to do all the florals for my wedding in August 2016. Bernadette was amazing to work with and is incredibly talented! I met with her to discuss florals for my wedding at the beginning of my planning process and later on decided to completely change the direction of my wedding. Bernadette was a dream come true to work with. I was referred to her via my wedding planner (A Piece of Cake Events). Holy moly, my planner did not lead me astray - Bernadette truly delivered and went way, way, WAY above and beyond! She helped with not only flowers, but also the overall tablescapes and venue ceremony and reception decor (she has a studio filled with decor options - centerpieces, candles, you name it!).
Bernadette was more than just a florist to me - she worked with me countless times when many other florists probably would not have done so. I met with her several times in person to discuss and craft my vision, and I bounced so many ideas off of her throughout the wedding planning process. Bernadette’s execution was literally picture perfect, and she exceeded my wildest Pinterest dreams of a sophisticated, feminine, yet whimsical wedding. In addition to her being an outstanding florist, she is a beautiful, sweet, and thoughtful person inside and out. She will immediately put you at ease and will have you laughing in no time! I wish I had an excuse to work with her every month - she is that amazing and so much fun to collaborate with. She also included a toss bouquet free of charge, as well as a bud vase with some gorgeous flowers in honor of my mother, who passed away before my nuptials. Bernadette even placed a flower in the bud vase which was designed for me to to pluck into my bouquet after being pronounced husband and wife, for the purpose of taking my mother down the aisle with me. How sweet is that?!
Numerous guests at my wedding commented on how her flowers and design touches were some of the best they have ever seen - coming from such picky friends, this means a lot! Bernadette had me absolutely smitten and awe struck with her work - thank you thank you, thank you Bernadette!

Diamond Custom Floral is amazing! I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted for my wedding flowers. I showed Bernadette a few picture from Pinterest and let her know some of my favorite flowers. From there she created beautiful arrangements that were above and beyond anything I could have imagined! Bernadette pays attention to the small details. After noticing some Irish jewelry I wear Bernadette used flowers to highlight our Irish background. She was one of the few vendors that was in regular contact. She constantly checked to make sure we were still on track and was willing to make any changes I needed. Bernadette is amazing! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and has a huge passion for what she does. I told her that I didn't know anything at all about flowers, and she walked me through everything; what flowers come in what colors, what flowers are in season during the month I was getting married, what types of flowers would fill the shape of the bouquet I had envisioned, everything! Although our budget inspired our own DIY magic... Bernadette's wisdom, input and lending of her studio supplies was more than generous and demonstrates her goodwill and kindness! Bernadette is a master of her craft and a true pleasure to work with. I would like to review what an amazing human being Bernadette is. I was lucky enough to come across Bernadette half way through the planning process. When I first contracted Diamond Custom Floral I had a huge budget for flowers because my mother was paying for it. I had grand plans of extreme extravagance and huge flowing centerpieces on candelabras and grand bouquets for my bridal party but sometimes life happens. My mother owns her own business and as income decreased so did my flower budget. It broke my heart to always have to change things and Bernadette was absolutely understanding and supportive. There was never a time where I felt like she was disappointed that things were changing. She made me feel better about the changes and offered amazing ideas for us to still create something breathtaking for our day. Bernadette was always cheery, upbeat and wonderful to talk to. She understands that sometimes things happen and is ready, willing and able to roll with the punches. She was never selfish or put herself or the though of the money first.
Bernadette is a beautiful person and truly made the horror that is wedding planning a dream. Thanks to Bernadette's creativity and huge heart I had the most beautiful and biggest centerpieces I have ever seen. Gorgeous white hydrangeas and roses in tall gold vases accented with pearl strands.
The best part of it all was her recommendation for my mother to carry a little bouquet when my husband escorted her down the aisle. I am the first in my family to get married in over 60 years and for my mom to have that experience was very moving for all of us.
I know that this day would not have been as special as it was if it hadn't been for Bernadette and Diamond Custom Floral. I am actually sad that this is over.

Bernadette was my favorite wedding vendor. She is truly talented at what she does. I had some ideas for the wedding and she provided some recommendations and the day of the wedding she exceeded all my expectations. Bernadette was wonderful! After putting at ease an anxious mother and a nervous bride she helped flesh out the theme my daughter wanted for her wedding...a nature walk. With flowers, ferns and other greenery she beautifully enhanced the birdcage centerpieces for the guest's tables. Statement pieces at the chapel and reception were gorgeous and were able to serve dual purposes. The bouquets were breathtaking. She brought to life the calming features of nature. Bernadette was flexible and kept us on track with our budget.
All our guests expressed their delight with the pretty wedding. Most of all, my daughter had the wedding she dreamed of! Thank-you Bernadette!

Bernadette was able to make a vague idea a reality. I absolutely loved how she decorated the chapel and reception area for our wedding. It was a great experience working with Bernadette! She is the nicest person and was so helpful in decorating my ceremony and reception venues. I didn't know very much about flowers so she helped me choose beautiful in-season blooms, which allowed me to get gorgeous full centerpieces while staying on a budget. On the wedding day, I didn't have to worry about a thing because she was so prompt with getting everything set up. She even had time to show me and my maid of honor how to hold our flowers to make them look perfect in the pictures. The way she wraps bouquets is absolutely stunning! She even used the lace material from my maid of honor's dress to wrap her bouquet, which looked perfect. Without a doubt I would choose Bernadette to be my wedding florist again!

Who knew that when we hired a florist that we would get an event planner, and artist and so much more! Bernadette really helped make our whole day truly magical. Ordinarily I do not write reviews; However, when I receive such exceptional over the top service I am compelled to take the time to do so. Bernadette was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had about a year long engagement, with a very unique situation- I am in the military and had to plan the entire wedding from AZ. Bernadette was so flexible with the fact that i could not be there in person and continuously worked around my schedule. She was always available and adapted to email/phone/and text conversations. Because I could not be there, she sent me a plethora of images of her work and ideas she had based off of my lose flower/design ideas. I was very concerned with the budget and Bernadette was able to suggest many cost saving ideas- like reusing some of the aisle flowers in the reception area. It is such a breathe of fresh air to have someone as concerned with your budget as you are and does not try to over stretch your wallet! Finally I was home for my wedding and the day before I got to see some of the beautiful arrangements that Bernadette had dreamed up for me. I wanted a fall feel, with lots of rich oranges and yellows with hints of grey- and the outcome was spectacular! Not only did Bernadette provide me with flowers, she did the table arrangement and the overall design. She did all the linens, candles and accents throughout. My country-chic wedding came together beautifully and could not have been done with out Bernadette, she filled the void in every area that I dropped the ball without me even asking. Hands down the best person I worked with throughout the whole experience. Lastly, I found out that my only living grand parent could not come to the wedding at the last minute & I was absolutely devastated. Right after I got zipped into my dress, Bernadette knocked on the door and came in with my beautiful bouquet. Wrapped around it was a crystal necklace that Bernadette had requested from my grandmother, so she could walk down the aisle with me.

Bernadette, the owner of Diamond Custom Floral, provided outstanding service for my wedding. She was easy to work with from the very first moment to the last. She is a complete pro, and will design beautiful arrangements for you if you aren't sure exactly what you want, but is also very open to your own vision and ideas if you already know the kinds of flowers and arrangements you want. I simply shared with her things that appealed to me on Pinterest and she took over from there. She was completely available any time I had questions, and never made me feel like I was asking a stupid question. It was very personalized, special service, and I really did not know much about flowers. The bridal bouquet, corsages, and bouttineares were all unique and beautiful, and the mason jars with flowers hanging from shepherd hooks going down the aisle were gorgeous. Even when I decided the reception table centerpieces weren't going to fit in my budget, she did not make me feel cheap, but instead readily offered several lower cost options. I ultimately ended up using hydrangeas from my neighbor's garden for the centerpieces (free) and she was totally ok with that. She added some rose petals to the tables to complete the decor. Everything about the experience was great, including Bernadette's friendly, warm, and enthusiastic personality!

The rating should be a triple x5. Bernadette is a remarkable person and she did a beautiful/stunning/striking/fabulous/gorgeous/dazzling/lovely job with our wedding.

The first florist that we had met with advised us that she did not do flowers and/or business for same sex weddings. A few other WA florist had also turned down same sex couples so we were a little apprehensive about speaking to another flower vendor. We contacted our venue coordinator and they highly recommended Bernadette because she had done some amazing work with them before. I contacted her via email and asked if she provided services for same sex couples and her response was "ABSOLUTELY". Highly recommended is an understatement!

We instantly loved her; she took the time to get to know us so she would have an understanding of what kind of personalities she was working with! (god love her) We provided our colors, photos of the wedding party outfits, decoration ideas and what flowers we absolutely didn't want in our bouquets and then gave her "artist decision" to design our flowers. Since our wedding was going to be outside, she assured us that if the wedding had to be moved inside, for us not to worry, she would ensure that everything would be beautiful.

WOW, WOW, WOW (fireworks inserted here) were we ever happy with our flowers and decorations! She knew exactly what we wanted without us giving detailed instructions. Everything she put together was beyond beautiful.

If you want an adorable lady that you will love instantly and will ensure you have beautiful wedding, please use Bernadette’s services! You won’t be sorry!

Literally a five star service. Everyone who met Bernadette loved her. The flowers were beyond perfect. Bernadette made my wedding day happen. A close friend surprised us by ordering all our wedding flowers from Diamond Custom Floral for our very small, intimate waterfront wedding. Our friend met with Bernadette at Diamond Custom Floral and provided her with a description of us, our likes, dislikes, and interests. Without ever meeting us or speaking to us Bernadette custom designed the most PERFECT bouquets, corsages, and arrangements which we both absolutely loved. They were so fresh and long lasting, one the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen full of soft greens and rosy pink colors, along with creamy whites. It included dogwood, ranaculas, roses, wild geraniums, and other greenery. The flowers were so fitting for our Pacific Northwest waterfront ceremony, she selected everything we like and arranged it in a manner we would have chosen (hand-tied satin ribbon bouquets) had we been the ones to meet with her! It was incredible that Bernadette could create something so unique and beautiful for us without even meeting us!! We were highly impressed and would definitely recommend her to anyone considering a wedding in the area. We later had the opportunity to meet Bernadette and thank her in person, we also learned that ours was not the first same-sex wedding she had created arrangements for, we were happy to learn that she provides floral services to same-sex and opposite sex couples. Bernadette is wonderful. She has an amazing talent. I loved my flowers so much they were exactly what I dreamed and more. In our meeting together she really got a good visual of what I was looking for and when I received my flowers it showed she really listened and understood what I wanted. After I chose my flowers I ended up deciding on something different and she was super flexible to change my order. The professionalism and kindness is unmatched she really cares for her brides and wants them to have a magical day. Everything from our first meeting to the delivery of the flowers was perfect. Bernadette was absolutely amazing! We had originally found her in a wedding directory and looked up reviews to see what people thought. The reviews were not kidding when we met Bernadette. She was the first and last florist we interviewed. Total at impressed from the second we met her. I am a designer myself and had a specific taste for what I was looking for. She knew exactly where to go with my vision through floral arrangements. It's so important to not just have a florist, but to have a florist with a great design eye.

We were absolutely blown away with everything she offered us. She not only put together beautiful floral arrangements, but she set up all the flowers before the wedding and stayed for when we flipped the ceremony room to the reception room and out together all the center pieces! Of all the people that were involved with the wedding, she was the one person i knew I could trust to pull my wedding concept out onto the tables.

Honestly, Bernadette is the sweetest lady in the world. She was totally like a loving mom and just wanted to take care of us on our big day. We had regular check-ins and we worked together to create such a beautiful day. I would recommend Bernadette to ALL future brides! She had the experience and the expertise you need and her prices are very competitive. We were amazed what we could afford with everything she did for us. Bernadette was amazing to work with! I can not say enough good things about the experience of working with her on all of my wedding flowers. She was always very prompt with communication which is something I really appreciate. I never had to wonder if/ when she would get back in touch with me. After meeting with her the first time I knew she would be amazing to work with. She listened to everything I had to say in order to get a vision for the wedding as a whole and what my specific ideas for flowers were. What was also great was that she knew exactly what I was envisioning from the vague general ideas I gave her about kinds of colors and styles of flowers I liked. She gave me so many opportunities to make sure every step of the way that we had exactly the flowers we needed, and was helpful with reminding me of arrangements and boutonnieres I might have forgotten.
The flowers she delivered the morning of the wedding to 4 separate locations were all above anything I could have ever imagined, everything from the bouquets to the boutonnieres to the church flowers and centerpieces were gorgeous and the best part was I didn't have to worry about any of it I knew it was all going to be amazing and where it should be on time. We got so many compliments on all of the flowers and the just tied everything together so well. I really do feel that Bernadette deserves all 5's!! Not only is she just a most wonderful person, but she was also very sensitive to me. I am sure there were times that I must have caused her frustration (I was not a bride that had it all planned out -- more "I don't know" is what it was), but Bernadette listened and offered suggestions and ideas that helped me to at least be able to give her a direction to go. In the end I just gave it to her and said make it beautiful and that is what she gave us....a couple of tears there as I think of how beautiful the wedding was and how Bernadette was a part of that beauty. She even helped my daughter with finding the right color of Maid of Honor dress -- shhhhhh..I am sure that is not one of her normal services (LOL).

Bernadette from Diamond Custom Floral is a gem! She gave us the most for our money and even went above and beyond the call of duty for me and husband. Our bouquets looked amazing, she even gives you a complimentary bouquet for your toss that has ribbons attached so it looks beautiful for photos when it is thrown. She came to set up everything and even goes through what needs to be done to take care of the bouquets so they last the entire day of pictures and events. I also liked that she was the one to call and meet with you every month prior to the wedding to go over all the details and make sure that everything you decided is still the same. Being a bride that likes to be in control and is very detail-oriented, I really appreciated this about Bernadette. Another great thing about her services, is she will tell you up front what might cost more and what you could substitute to get the most bang for your buck. She is not trying to sell you anything, she is more about getting the vision that you have for your wedding right, and that was something we really loved about her.

My daughter and I were delighted with the boutineer Bernadette made for her Tolo date. As it turns out, Bernadette made my daughter's corsage as well and she coordinated the flowers. The corsage and boutineer were unique and absolutely beautiful! My daughter carefully dried her corsage after the event and has it as a keepsake. Bernadette was just as excited as the kids were for the evening and it was a joy to work with her!

Diamond Custom Floral was a pleasure to work with once again for the annual St Cecilia dinner auction. I simply described the color scheme, style and budget for table floral center pieces, and received works of art, far beyond my expectation, down to the beautiful (yet affordable) smokey glass vases, very classy!

Bernadette was absolutely amazing. She was kind and did everything I had imagined for the flowers. Would recommend her for anyone who wants something beautiful that you cannot get at a regular florist.

I just can't say enough good things about my experience with Diamond Custom Floral. Even with last second add-ons they were able to come through on time and transformed my venue into an incredibly beautiful wedding/reception space for us. I will hire Diamond again for any upcoming event if I have a say in the decision! Theresa Patterson (bride) event date 8/27/11.

Bernadette was AMAZING! We were so happy to work with her. She was on time and delivered to two locations for us. All of the flowers were beautiful and lasted well beyond the day of the wedding. She understood our need to stay within the budget and gave us creative ideas for letting all our flowers do a double duty. My bouquet was stunning and every detail was perfect. I would recommend her to anyone!

Bernadette is just amazing! She really cares about your big day and makes sure that your flowers are just the way you want them. She's so easy to work with too! I would definitely recommend her to anyone not only for weddings but any occasion!

Bernadette is amazing! The arrangements were beautiful and she listens to what you want incorporated in your event. Her pricing is very reasonable and on top of everything, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

We were so pleased with her outstanding and impressive centerpiece arrangements and many, many other creative and distinctive floral touches, transforming the stark "Top Of The Hilton" downtown Seattle, into an elegant dream-wedding venue. She was easy to talk to and work with, so professional, having serviced countless weddings on every budget. She walked us through the bridal party floral maze, making sure every detail was covered in a tasteful, personal way. She interpreted our vision, created and delivered a product beyond our wildest dreams. Having beautiful flowers for our wedding was very important to my husband, who is a professional landscaper, and myself. As soon as we met Bernadette from Diamond Custom Floral, we were put at eased and impressed with the quality of her work. She listened to what we wanted and was able to bring my vision to life without charging a huge amount. On our wedding day, everyone kept commenting on how beautiful the centerpieces looked, and my bouquet was more beautiful than I imagined.

Bernadette was very professional to work with and very accommodating. She even met at my workplace. Her floral arrangements were beautiful for our son's rehearsal dinner and the wedding cake flowers looked fabulous. I definitely recommend her and will use Diamond Custom Floral again!

Great company for floral arrangements! Very helpful and responsive to ideas and visions. Bernadette was wonderful to talk to and made quick decisions to change some of my flowers last minute to ensure the highest quality was presented. She offers reasonable prices for elegant bouquets.
