The best around!

I will literally only use Dhamaka Entertainment for any Indian wedding/ event that comes up. He is truly the best and has amazing lighting and sound. You can not go wrong!!!

Awesome Job

I just had 4 events for my daughter’s wedding and Kamal did excellent job on all four events, can’t complain, very professional ! Thank you Kamal for taking care of all four events and I am 100% satisfied and will call you back for our next event 👏👏👏👏👍❤️

Excellent Dj, service and great to work with

Dhamaka did such a great job!! We can’t thank them enough for DJing our wedding. They really brought the energy during our wedding and our baraat. They were honestly amazing to work with even when we had to change our date multiple times, events, and venue due to the COVID pandemic. We gave them ideas about what songs we wanted, but their own music and remixes didn’t disappoint. Varun and Kamal also gave us excellent music ideas which really added that extra touch.

Thank you so much Dhamaka for working with us! We will definitely be recommending you to our family and friends and will definitely be using you for our future events!!!

DJ Varun is great!

Varun was awesome to work with; he is very helpful and knowledgeable and keeps excellent communication. He is professional and easy to work with and really cares for his craft! We all had a blast at our wedding reception and we owe it him!

Awesome Event Coordinating Company

It was a great deal we had with Dhamaka Productions. Their packages were very reasonable in prices. Event coordinating team was very nice. From the planning phase to the execution, everything went well and it was awesome. It had been the talk of the night and a lot of the guest asked for their details and would like to hire them also on their events.

I am a photographer and I had opportunity to work with Dhamaka Productions DJ Kamal and MC Varun. I have to say I admire there professionalism and performance. From a Photographer’s point of view, it is very important to have perfect lighting at the wedding in order to capture amazing shots. The lighting they provided elegant colors of uplighting with stage wash and pinspots lighting. They were happy to make changes according to my needs.

Kamal and Varun are truly masters of their craft, ie. smooth and seamless transitions, consistent on there sets. Kamal started by Bollywood lounge and R&B music during dinner.
When dance floor open he got everyone dancing from Bollywood, top40, Bhangra, HipHop to Latin music. This was a mixed fusion crowd. I like his ability of reading the crow and modify the music accordingly was remarkable. Everyone enjoyed the night.

MC Varun was skilled and gifted with strong powerful voice. He was humorous and kept things going never a dull moment.
Hands down the best Indian wedding djs in Los Angeles.
This team is very easy and flexible to work with. I highly recommend.

Attended a wedding for my best friend where Dhamaka Productions provided dj services and lighting. Everything looked amazing and the dance floor was always full. LOVED how they Incorporated music from different genres and cultures yet still made everyone dance all night! definitely gonna recommend them to all my family and friends

Attended my friend’s wedding and Dhamaka Productions was providing sound and lighting. Everything was beautifully done, and the DJ was excellent. I never saw the dance floor empty. I will definitely hire them for my next event!

The quality of professionalism was something I have never experienced in wedding, the lighting and music was perfect, I highly recommend both the lighting and djay services.

Great job by kamal and Varun .... they provided dj and lighting for my wedding ... everything was done exactly to my preference ... they responded to my emails quickly everytime ... we had a mixed crowd with Indians, Mexicans, and American ... they mixed all the different music seemlessly and kept everyone on the dance floor .... I am still getting phone calls from my guest about how amazing it was ... I will recommend Dhamaka Productions to everyone

Honestly, as one of the pickiest brides in the world, this team came through 100%. From making sure to keep my crowd pumped and entertained, making sure the quality of the sound and songs were always on point, to getting every lighting detail exactly as I wanted it, everything was perfect. Special shout-out to DJ Rehil for killing it with keeping my crowd pumped and ready and Kamal for making sure each detail was exactly how I imagined it. Thank you Dhamaka Productions!!

Wow so happy with this DJ! We used them for our Mehndi Event and could not be happier. They really know how to pump a crowd up. We had a mixed wedding, and they did an amazing job mixing up both popular American & Pakistani music for our group. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time with Dhamaka. Kamal was great to work with and extremely professional. Hey always was very speedy with his responses to our emails and they did an amazing job with the music and lighting for all of our wedding events. Highly recommend him.

Dhamaka productions is the best vendor to work won't, we have them using them for 15 years and they are the most efficient and friendly vendor. I would recommend anyone.

I wasn't exepecting the best because he was so affordable but he blew my guests away. My entire family and all my friends were on the dance floor all night. Dhamaka rocked the entire night and the music....well everyone is still talking about how great the music selection was. I know I made a part of the list but man, I was really impressed with the additional songs he added to my list. I was very impressed with lighting and professionalism. I was most impressed with the price for the type of service. I highly recommend Dhamaka for and Indian wedding. Kamal was seriuosly awesome!! Thanks Dhamaka for making my reception rock!!

Dhamaka Productions did a great job at our wedding. They kept the party going the entire night. Many quests complimented us how great the music was. I would highly recommend them for any event!

Kamal was great with communication the day of and before hand with helping us select the look and feel we were going for in terms of the lighting, wall patterns and gobo designs. He and his team did a great job transforming the ball room to something more than what we had expected! He was extremely flexible and had a great selection of songs - the dance floor was packed all night long! The mobile DJ and dhol player made the baraat unbelievably fun and exciting! Everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend Kamal and Dhamaka Productions, they did an amazing job and are a pleasure to work with, very easy, fun group of people!! Thanks for making our event extremely memorable!

High Energy, Great Music & Great Value

Kamal and Varun were the perfect addition to our Indian fusion wedding! They added so much energy and liveliness to the entire day and night event! From the Dhol player, Bhangra lessons and the dance offs, Dhamaka kept the crowd dancing and excited. Everything went off seamlessly from the Bharat, Ceremony to the Reception and all within budget.

DJ Kamal is gifted. We unfortunately did not get a chance to listen to his music before our wedding but since our first skype meeting, Kamal made us feel comfortable and listened to what we wanted on our big day.

On the day of the wedding, he showed up early to set up his equipment. Ours was an Indian-American fusion wedding (Indian bride & American groom). We had a baraat ceremony welcoming the groom and his family into the venue. The dhol player Kamal brought along was fantastic! It was so lively and fun that I wanted to leave the bridal suite and join the dancing hehe.

Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, Kamal played almost all the songs I had requested on my playlist and some other excellent songs that were in the similar genre! He understood our tastes which was pretty awesome considering there was Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, soft romantic Hindi songs and also the loud bollywood wedding ones.

I would recommend DJ Kamal with absolutely no reservations. He is fantastic and will not disappoint. He know how to read a crowd and get people to dance. There were people at my wedding who don't usually dance at weddings but they were all on the dance floor thanks to DJ Kamal.

We were very happy with DJ Kamal and would highly recommend him whether you having a Indian event or a fusion one :)

Great DJ! Our guests had a lot of fun at our wedding dancing all night. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I am not indian and the DJ would cut off the songs in english pretty quickly. My friends requested a song on my behalf and it only played for a short while. I'm sure you could talk to the DJ ahead of time to make sure that doesn't happen to you. Other than that, everything went really well with this vendor.

Pretty good work! Very professional, great lighting. Need some preparation, how to pronounce names, make sure songs for dances play at the right spot.

One of the guys that Damaka sent tried cheating me for more money. Note to everyone, write a check, double confirm that the check as been cashed etc. I couldnt trust these guys one bit.

We were have two weddings in one day, so we wanted someone that was familiar with how crazy a Hindu wedding was as well as how intimate a Christian ceremony can be. Our planner had heard of Dhamaka Entertainment so we thought he'd be a good fit. We were wrong. The day started great with the Baraat, which I think is what he does great at! Getting the crowd involved and starting the day off with a bang. The Hindu ceremony was fine, but I didn't think he did anything outstanding. After the Hindu ceremony there was some down time, and instead of prepping for the evening or actually staying in a professional role, we saw them using the amenities of the venue (playing pool, hanging out where the groom and his family were, playing the piano in the living room) which is completely unprofessional. When it was time for the Christian ceremony, we noticed he was playing off his cell phone, which meant the songs would have a harsh cut off when transitioning to the next song, his text messages were going off during the ceremony over the speakers and he wasn't paying attention to the cues of the priest or the wedding planner. At the reception is when my husband finally lost it with him because he was blaring the music at an unacceptable level. We were in a backyard and the music was blaring so loud the speakers were cracking on our grand entrance song! We had such high hopes for Kamal and his parter and were greatly disappointed. If he had no interest in making our Christian ceremony or reception good, he should have not taken our wedding and put such a dark memory on it. Kamal did take the time to come to Santa Barbara and check out the venue so we don't really understand how he was so unprepared for the day.

We went off of a well trusted referral and hired this DJ thinking that we would receive the same level of excellence. He did not provide the standard of service expected for any average DJ. He fell short of even providing a mediocre level of service. If you want an unprofessional, unorganized, complacent, self-serving individual, this is the DJ for you. He did not play any music during the wedding party introductions, disregarded the request for speeches, and blatantly ignored our multiple requests to play specific music. He blamed his short comings on our wedding coordinator. It is said that the best way to judge a professional on their performance is the affect of their actions. Our packed wedding was a ghost town by 10 pm, "self explanatory"!
