Justine was the most incredible makeup artist for my wedding day! Her work truly speaks for itself—it is absolutely stunning. She handled a total of nine women across a range of ages, and every single person looked flawless. Her talent lies in enhancing natural beauty; the makeup never felt heavy or "caked on," just perfectly radiant.
Not only is she remarkably efficient (she completed all nine of us in about five hours!), but she is also just a joy to be around. Justine is the ultimate "girls’ girl"—so kind, hilarious, and exactly the kind of energy you want in your bridal suite while getting ready. She made us all feel so comfortable and confident. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Justine was amazing! From the second I booked her to do my bridal makeup, she was responsive, professional & always so pleasant. I can not recommend Justine enough! Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she also couldn’t be more lovely! I have never felt more beautiful than I did at my wedding and I thank Justine for that! It is also pretty rare that you are in a wedding an all of the bridesmaids are happy with their makeup. My bridesmaids still bring up how much they loved Justine and her work. The makeup lasted the entire night and she gives each girl a cute little touch up kit. All this to say hire Justine! You and your girls will be so happy you did! -

THE BEST MAKEUP ARTIST EVER!!!
Justice is so personable from the moment you meet her and makes you feel so comfortable.
I was in a wedding Justine did a few years back and I just knew when it was my turn I needed to have her as my makeup artist!
I gave her the freedom to do whatever she felt would look right and she freakin KILLED IT!! My wedding day was 90 degrees and my makeup did not budge!

Justine was the first vendor I booked when I began the wedding planning process. She had done my makeup for a friend's wedding a few years prior and I knew without a doubt she was who I wanted to use for my wedding. Justine is a true professional at what she does. Somehow she is able to enhance your natural looks without making the makeup feel cakey or too overdone. I loved everything about my makeup and the makeup of my bridal party and mom. I first hired Justine as my MUA for my COVID-style backyard wedding back in 2020. Her work 2 years ago was already amazing! Imagine her growth and skills now - phew - they’re even better!
I loved her personality and work so much that I ended up hiring her multiple times down the road - for my PhD graduation pictures in 2021 and my COVID-delayed engagement pictures in Spring 2022. Both times she MORE than delivered! Last time she did my makeup, I literally was like, “Justine, I trust you - do whatever you want!”
I also hired her for my COVID-delayed big wedding celebration for Sept. 2022. Unfortunately, she got hit with COVID and she told me right away as soon as she found out, and had another MUA she trusts as a backup on standby. She knows my brother has cancer, and I really appreciated this transparent and responsible move - this shows her compassion and professionalism, and she goes above and beyond for her clients. I am definitely still planning on hiring Justine for my future makeup needs - she’s the whole package!
So, just hire her!!! She makes me look like a fierce goddess each time (see the pictures for yourself)! -

Hire justine!
Oh, where to begin with the ever-talented superstar that is Justine Detloff?! I took an instant liking to Justine after she did a flawless job with my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s weddings. At the time, I was newly engaged and knew I had to book her for my own wedding. Not only is Justine very skilled at what she does, she will be your biggest fan and makes your time in the chair go by so quickly because she is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. My entire experience with Justine was so special. She offered flexible times and dates for my trial and was willing to accommodate me on my wedding day however possible. She also took the time to listen to what makeup looks made each of us feel most confident and beautiful and incorporated them into our wedding-day looks. Justine was much more than a makeup artist. She became a friend, a confidante, and my bridemaids’ and my biggest hype-woman. The best part is that even though my wedding is over, I still maintain a relationship with Justine and will most definitely reach out to her the next time I am in need of a makeup artist. If you are considering booking Justine as your makeup artist for your wedding or special event, this is your sign to DO IT! -

Spectacular!
I knew I was in good hands with Justine when we started chatting a few months before my wedding. Her vision for her brides, bridesmaids, and parents are on point! Nobody would know from the pictures that the AC broke at our venue and we were sweating because the makeup never left our faces! She is so kind and friendly. She even brought a music playlist to get the girls vibing getting ready on the big day! My bridal makeup looked very natural and had a soft glam. I received so many compliments. I’d use Justine again anytime! -

Justine is the absolute best! Unbelievably talented and so much fun to get ready with on your big day. I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis and wanted a look that was natural looking but also transforming..and she nailed it. Actually, twice, as she did my makeup as a bridesmaids once before and it was perfect. The look also lasted without a single smudge until I washed my face over 24 hours later. If you're lucky enough to nab her, do it! It'll be one of the best decisions you make. -

Absolutely amazing!!
I could go on all day about how awesome Justine is. As someone who isn’t terrible at makeup and likes full glam, picking a makeup artist on your big day is hard! Justine’s work is amazing and I booked her as soon as I could. I have very dry often difficult skin and Justine made me glow all night. My bridesmaids looked amazing and to quote my MOH “this is some of the best makeup I’ve ever seen”. On top of her amazing work, Justine is so sweet and easy to talk to. She makes you feel so comfortable, which is so important on such a big day. -

Justine was absolutely amazing!! I could not recommend her more! During the trial she took the time to get to know my individual style and the look that I was going for. She also explained the products that she used and what effect it gave. The day of, she was on time and super professional and created a relaxing and fun ambiance for my bride party to get ready in. She listened and incorporated the makeup styles of each individual bridesmaid and exceeded their expectations! She even convinced my mom to try falsies, which I didn’t think would be possible. The Absolute BEST
Justine is by far one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the trial to the wedding day, she was so amazing. I wanted a natural but elegant look, and Justine delivered. I didn’t even have to show her photos of what I wanted, I just told her what I was looking for and she put her magical art to work.
Justine is so professional and has a great personality. There is not a dull moment with her and she is so comfortable to be around. All my bridesmaids loved their make up, as well as my mother, mother In law, and grandma-in-law. Truly not ONE person had a complaint. Her make up also photographs incredibly and lasted all night, even throughout my sweaty night and dancing.
Stop looking for other make up artists and book Justine now. Her pricing is so reasonable considering everything you will receive from her- I have truly never felt so beautiful in my life. Soon I am going to book her for a make up lesson soon for some every day make up tips! -

Justine is hands down the BEST in the game.
My friends lovingly call me a “triple A” personality due to my lethal mix of OCD & perfectionism. So, planning a wedding (then postponing and re-planning thanks to COVID) left me wildly on edge. I am THAT bridezilla.
Thankfully, I was lucky enough to land Justine as my wedding MUA. She is- by FAR- the most responsive, most genuine, most friggin’ TALENTED HUMAN I’ve ever met. Scratch that- she is a superhuman. She absolutely perfected both mine and my 10 (!!!) bridesmaids makeup, plus my mother and very *particular* MIL. Everyone was blown away by her work. I can’t say enough good things about this woman. She is the queen of MUAs, a hilarious friend, and a personal hype woman. I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without her.

I can’t say enough great things about Justine. First of all my original MUA went out of business due to Covid and I was in need a few months before my wedding. Justine was so amazing and professional and stepped in and I’m pinching myself for not choosing her from the start. She is always early, fast, hilarious, amazing to have hang out with you and your bridal party on the day, and does the best makeup I’ve ever seen. Seriously. I have to start by saying that I literally cannot recommend Justine enough! From the moment I met her at my trial for my wedding, I instantly fell in love with her work and personality. I have had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Justine five times and she KILLS it every time. On my wedding day, Justine did a total of 14 girls’ makeup and every single one of them felt amazing and beautiful. Justine is the best mua you could choose! I am *very* picky about my makeup and did a few trials with other artists before booking Justine to find a good fit. Not only was the makeup good but she was able to work with different levels of makeup lovers. Some of my bridesmaids like makeup more natural while others like myself love full glam and she did not disappoint either way! Also she has SUCH GOOD VIBES and really kept things light and fresh during the getting ready process! Not to mention, her goody bag of stuff (aspirin, tums, etc) for any issues that came up. She also is really good at communicating so you know she didn’t forget you and she responds quickly! So, you def need to book Justine the mua queen! -

Simply the Best
I don’t even know where to begin this glowing review. Justine is simply the best. From the ease of booking, rescheduling with covid, to the day of the wedding-- everything was PERFECT. She knows exactly what she's doing with a ton of wedding experience. She kept me on my game, asking about timeline and details when appropriate. Justine was always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. She even did a pre wedding trial for my MIL and worked which her skin sensitivities. As for the wedding day, every single person who received services expressed how much they loved Justine. Everyone loved her makeup artistry, but just as important her personality. She made the morning so fun, she fit right in with the bridal party! We were laughing, crying, but mostly crying from laughing. She has a heart of pure gold, I could not imagine my day without her. My makeup was perfect the entire night! After waiting 3 years, I danced my heart out and all my makeup was sweat proof! We even took nighttime photos at 10pm and it still looked fresh. Justine has pretty much became family after my wedding process! I'm writing this review before Justine even does my full bridal/bridal party make-up. That's how much I vouch for her!
First of all, during all the uncertainty of possibly postponing my fall 2020 wedding, placing soft holds, coordinating with vendors, etc. Justine was incredibly responsive and flexible. When I did finally postpone my big wedding to 2021, I knew I wanted Justine to still do my make-up for my micro wedding in 2020. I'm SO glad I did.
My hair ended up taking twice as long as it should have and Justine waited at my house for me until I got there (she's a saint!). Once we arrived, I was in full anxious panic-mode but Justine calmed me down and was joking around, making us laugh the whole time. She knew we were already late so she was thankfully working quickly - I thought for sure this meant my make-up would be compromised. But I thought SO wrong. My make-up was flawless and I'm not kidding when I say it's one of the things my now-husband still talks about from the wedding. I was complimented all night! We stayed out until 2 and my face looked untouched.
I'm SO excited and thankful I have Justine for me and my bridesmaids again in 2021. Hire her!! -

Justine is hands down the best and you can’t go wrong with choosing her to beautify you on your big day!!! Justine did my make up for my engagement photos, bridal shower and on my wedding day. I did not have any specific photos of what I wanted to look like and let Justine do her thing for all three occasions and she absolutely killed it!!!
Justine also did all my bridesmaids make up, my Mom and MIL and they all could not stop raving about how bomb she is and how beautiful they all looked. Everyone could not stop telling me how beautiful I looked on our big day and how I looked absolutely flawless. If if wasn’t for Justine I wouldn’t have felt and looked as good as I did on our wedding day!
Justine has such a sweet and very outgoing personality, which is what every vendor should have. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and like her best friend.

Justine did my makeup for my engagement shoot, bridal shower, wedding trial & wedding day and I could not be more pleased!!! Each of these days I wanted different looks of course, and Justine has the amazing capability to switch from extremely subtle looks to full on glam depending on your request, which very few makeup artists can do. From start to finish, she went above and beyond every single expectation I had!
On my wedding day, she did myself, 4 bridesmaids, my mother and grandmother. Everyone LOVED their makeup. Even my grandma who never wears anything and was hesitant asked for something very subtle and she absolutely loved it. Justine was able to work her magic and achieve looks on all ranges of skin tones and ages, and made everyone equally flawless!
The day turned out to be a very hot 90 degrees (with an outdoor ceremony), but it was no match for Justine! Everyone still looked beautiful at the end of the night and was picture perfect through all of the sweat and tears. The quality and longevity of her work is unmatched!
Not only does her makeup speak for itself, her attitude and personality is absolutely wonderful. Not to mention, she is always kind, funny and professional. I couldn’t be more happy with how my makeup turned out for each and every event. At this point, I won’t let ANYONE do my makeup unless it’s Justine!!! Thank you! -

Justine was amazing and I am SO happy that I booked her! From the very beginning she was so responsive with my endless list of questions, and really listened to me during the trial. On the wedding day, she felt like part of the girls hanging out, having a great time with us and even letting us use her phone to play Heads Up! Everyone's makeup was stunning and i got so many compliments throughout the night! She was so good that my mom (who had gotten her makeup done elsewhere) asked her to fix hers which she happily did! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and can't thank Justine enough! She'll always be my first call for makeup needs from now on! -

Simply, Radiant.....that is the word I heard the most throughout my entire wedding day. I had the pleasure of having Justine do my makeup 3 times (she runs a Bridal special and I recommend every Bride take advantage of it!) and each time my makeup was beautiful, flawless, and timeless. She uses high quality makeup that feels light and holds up until even the next day- to the point you don't even want to wash it off because it's so pretty! All of the beautiful ladies in my wedding party also felt the same way! I recommend her for any event you want to feel gorgeous for and just be pampered! I will hire her again and again for any event I want to feel extra special for :) -

Justine is absolutely incredible! From my makeup trial to the wedding day, she went above and beyond! It rained like crazy on the day of and my makeup lasted the whole entire day! You need to book Justine for your wedding! She takes so much care in her work, and is incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout every step of your planning from booking to the wedding day. She takes her work very seriously, but is also so naturally friendly that getting your makeup done feels like hanging out with your best friend! (It sounds too good to be true. But trust me, it's not.)
Justine is a joy to work with, and also SO talented! She made me, and all of my bridesmaids look AMAZING. Justine also somehow (very gently) persuaded my 74 year old Mom to get professional makeup and false eyelashes for the first time in her life, and everyone agreed that she was stunning! The makeup sat so flawlessly on her skin, and she looked fresh and gorgeous all day long). She had no problem matching my bridal party's diverse skin tones, and everyone's make up looked perfect all day!
Justine did my makeup before my engagement photos, bridal shower, and my wedding day, and I'm so glad that we were able to work together for all three events, because every time I saw her I walked away feeling like a movie star! -

First of all - you will quickly learn this isn't just business for Justine. She's so incredibly friendly and so dedicated, it's like having your BFF doing your makeup.
Her skills are amazing. I was looking for natural, and she listened. We made tweaks and she never tried to insist on her way, she was here for ME and my girls and how we wanted to look that day.
Second, she has EVERYONE covered. I'm glow- the- dark fair, and two of my bridesmaids were Indian/Sri Lankan, and she made EVERYONE look amazing and natural beauties.
I tell everyone about Justine and how amazing, talented, and professional she is. She deserves ALL the gold stars!! -

Look no further - you have found your wedding makeup magician! I found Justine on Facebook and messaged her about potentially doing a trial for my wedding makeup - she was so immediately responsive, detail-oriented, and organized that she made my decision an easy one.
On the day of my trial, she spent time listening to not only my vision, but concerns as well. She's friendly and upbeat and put me at ease right away. After an hour in her chair, I truly felt like a bride - what an amazing feeling! She continued her flawless service that evening by making sure to message me to confirm that my makeup held up through the entire day and taking note of anything I wanted to change for the big day itself.
Leading up to my wedding day, she made sure to confirm all of the details in advance so that I didn't have to think twice about it. She showed up early on the day itself, immediately bringing her great energy and spectacular getting ready playlists, and got to work. Justine is the BOMB!!!! She uses high quality products and knows how to use them! She did my makeup for two of my friends weddings that I was in, my boudoir shoot, my bridal shower, and my own wedding!!! Every single time I was blown away. She makes me feel so beautiful .... She kept everyone talking and laughing the entire time. Despite the fact that i sent her to the WRONG place by accident on the morning of the wedding she was still on time and so pleasant.
