Simply Stunning

Angelina and Raphael were fantastic to work with for my daughter’s wedding. From the bridal bouquet, corsages, boutonnières, arch piece's, various arrangements, and greenery, the final look far exceeded my vision. It was simply spectacular! I highly recommend their expertise and floral design creativity.

Beautiful Florals

Jenny really fulfilled my floral desires. After sending a few ideas I trusted her and knew she would arrange something so pretty. The bouquets were not your typical roses and greenery but she really did an outstanding job adding in a variety!

My daughter and I could not have been happier with Destin Floral Design for her September beach wedding. Jenny and Raphael are true artists, as reflected in their absolutely gorgeous creations! The bridal bouquet and the coordinated (but not identical) bouquets for the bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids were were breathtakingly beautiful. The decorations at the beach wedding site and at the reception venue were awesome. Because of the threat of Hurricane Irma and the cancellations of some of our guests' flights, the number of guests and reception tables were reduced at the last minute, but Jenny and Raphael responded by upgrading some of the decorations in lieu of reduced numbers of centerpieces. The expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness of Destin Floral Design exceeded our expectations!

Jenny with Destin Floral Designs was so very helpful! She helped fulfill my wedding dream even with me only speaking with her via telephone. My wedding in Santa Rosa Beach, FL was so gorgeous and I owe a lot of credit to Destin Florals! :)

I loved the floral arrangements! I wanted my bouquet to be big and sparkly and Raphael gave me exactly what I asked for! My floral centerpieces were the highlight of my wedding.

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous and more than I had hoped for!! My flowers and arrangements were waiting for me at my venue when I arrived and were just perfect. Jenny was a pleasure to work with and quick to respond to any questions that I had. I would recommend this florist to anyone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jenny and Raphael at Destin Floral Designs! They are super sweet and easy to work with! My flowers: WOW, just WOW! Everything was above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. I had guests asking me about the decorations at the ceremony because everything was so beautiful. Jenny was also super helpful about helping decide what flowers to use and how to do arrangements. Every aspect of my wedding flowers was perfection and beyond! I highly recommend using Destin Floral Designs for your wedding!

Jenny did a FABULOUS job for our wedding!! I originally chose a florist in town and after having her be very rude to my husband and I, we stumbled upon Destin Floral. Jenny was SO helpful. I came in with a color and no clue about flowers or floral arrangements. From the very beginning Jenny was focused on getting the colors together for me along with the best flowers (for the season and for my liking). If I wasn't sure about a type of flower, she would literally get a sample of the flower from the back for me to view and we would go from there. She came up with a few different arrangements and I finally decided on colors/flowers. We also used Destin Floral for our dinner the night before and she did an amazing job with those large arrangements also. We had compliments starting the night before and running into the wedding reception on how beautiful the flower arrnagements looked. Jenny also created our centerpieces for our reception site. Again, I only told her flower types and colors and she made it happen! To top it all off, when I got to the church in the morning to get ready, my mom brought in my bouquet and I realized that Jenny had sent me TWO bouquets! She knew I was having such a hard time decided that she went ahead and created two completely different arrnagements with the same flowers/colors! I would highly recommend Jenny to any bride or for special occasions. In the world we are in now, everyone is so grumpy, unfriendly, or out to screw you! Jenny really is a nice, down to earth person, who made my wedding day extra special!

Although there was a miscommunication about the actual event date, the owner went out of her way to leave the boquets next door so that I would still be able to recieve them. She was very thoughtful and the flowers were perfect.

Sally did a really great job of providing beautiful flowers for our wedding day. We did a medley of tropical orchids, and everyone complimented us on how great they turned out. Sally was on-time and gave us exactly what we ordered.

I was presented with three other florists by my wedding "coordinator" (handled by Grayton Beach Catering LLC - NOT RECOMMENDED) which would not respond at all, before having to find a florist on my own.

I was fortunate to find Jenny at Destin Floral Designs. Not only was she prompt to respond, but she was open and receptive to everything I was looking for. There were issues with delivery due to my "coordinator" but Jenny's husband and co-owner handled everything and allowed me to avoid dealing with yet another issue from that vendor.

The flowers were absolutely exquisite and were exactly - if not better - than expected. Thanks to you both! We would recommend Destin Floral Designs without hesitation.

I was highly amazed from the flowers from Destin Floral Designs. They specialize in designing affordable Real Touch and Silk Flower Wedding Bouquets, complementing boutonniere's, and corsages. They have a huge variety and their service is great. However it can be a bit pricey

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! The flowers were delivered without issue and on time. They handled my bridal bouquet and the corsages/boutonnieres for our parents. The only real hiccup is I asked that fuchsia be the primary color and the fuchsia I got was more of a deep purple and not the pink I thought it would be. Ultimately the flowers blended in with the overall tropical theme but it would have been better if they matched my wedding colors. If I had to do it again I would have at least had the flowers delivered a day earlier or better yet actually gone into the shop to see the flowers beforehand. Unfortunately with planning the wedding from Georgia I just didn't have time to meet in person by the time I arrived in Florida.

Also, there were a couple of times I waited 4-6 days to get a response to an email but typically getting Jenny or Raphael on the phone was easier.

At the end of the day, they did an incredible job working within my budget and producing a high-quality product.

The flowers on my wedding day were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! But, I had a ton of communication problems with this vendor. No one showed up to our original meeting, tried calling several times and no one answered. I still decided to go with this company but they did not answer back emails, I had to call a couple of times to make sure they knew the changes I had made. Overall, they did a wonderful job with my bouquets and center pieces and I would recommend them.

We used Destin Floral Designs for our flowers, our officiant, and arch. Our officiant, Joy, gave us a beautiful ceremony. She was easy to work with but a little hard to get a hold of at times, which can be a little stressful to a bride, especially when planning an out-of-town wedding. Once we got in touch with her, however, we had an easy time planning our ceremony and vows. She was very professional and her vows and readings were lovely. Our flower arrangements were absolutely stunning, I used cala lillies. We had a bamboo arch that was beautiful, however, we noticed about a week later when looking at our photos that they forgot to add grasses to the back of the arch. In the photo of the bamboo arch on their website, it shows grasses on all for sides. No big deal I guess, just a little disappointing. There was some confusion the week of the wedding when I called the shop to book Joy for our rehearsal the day before the wedding, we were told by the gentleman over the phone that our officiant had another ceremony booked on the day of our wedding, and that ours was never booked because we didn't send in our deposit in time (which we were never told there was a time limit on our deposit for the officiant). When I frantically called Joy, she assured me that she was doing our wedding and there must have been some confusion at the shop. It all worked out, but that almost gave me a heart attack a week before the wedding. Overall, I think they are great, the flowers and arrangements are beautiful, and we had a very wonderful ceremony.

Destin Floral Designs did a beautiful job with our flowers and decorations. They were a little bit expensive, but everything is in that part of the state. They really tried to work with us to fit our budget.

The overall out come of the flowers and arrangements were absolutely what we were looking for! They were beautiful. Getting a hold of them threw out the processes was a challenge.

We had a change of plans less than 24 hours after we place the order and it was hard to figure something out that worked for both us and them. They have a no changes no cancelations policy that were not told about. He told us it was printed on the reciept that had been mailed to us, but we never recieved that! So we did end up making a change, we just bought the stems of flowers and made our own boquets and crousages and bouteniers, instead of having them make them for us. in the end i was very happy with my flowers!

After the initial estimate, the price over doubled. Therefore, I cut back A LOT. It initially upset me that this happend, after all that is more than a slight increase, but they did work with me. Sally was very helpful. Destin Floral provided the arch on the beach and me and my girl's (6 of them) bouquets. They also provided small arangements for the mothers (2) and grandmothers (2), as well as a cake topper. The cake topper was wrong-it was roses instead of gerber daisys. No big deal though. I did not use anything else as it was expensive. I am told it is the whole area. The flowers arrived on time and were beautiful. However, after the ceremony, which was only 15 minutes, the flowers started to die. We kept them in the water until the last minute too. So they were beautiful flowers, but they died too quickly (mine were roses, the 'maids were hydrangeas and gerber daisys). Hope this helps~

We had the hardest time with Joy of Destin Floral. She was completely non-responsive to phone calls or emails. We weren't able to finalize our contract until 10 days before the wedding because we could not get updates from her. When she finally sent us the next-to final version, we tried to call 4 or 5 times and couldn't get a hold of her. When everything was finally settled and the balance had been paid, she sent an email saying we had to get everything finished or it would be too late. Talk about stress!

Two hours before the reception was to begin, there was not a flower in the reception hall.

The only positive thing I can say is that when everything was finally in place, the arrangements were beautiful. I think the rentals were over-priced, and I would not call it a good value for the cost, but they were pretty. Not worth the headache though.

JUST SAY NO TO DESTIN FLORAL DESIGNS. NO ONE WOULD RETURN MY REPEATED CALLS OR EMAILS. WHEN I PHONED I GOT THE COLD SHOULDER OR JUST PLAN RUDNESS. IT WAS LIKE THEY DID NOT WANT MY BUSINESS, DID THEY FORGET IT WAS 2009. JOY WANTED ALL THE MONEY MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING. THEY LACKED ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER. THEY EVEN GOSSIP WITH THE CUSTOMERS!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL IS THE CREEDO AT THAT PLACE. AND THE FLOWERS WERE NOT EVEN NICE. NOT RECOMMENDED. STAY AWAY LIKE A CASE OF THE SWINE FLU.

I booked Destin Floral approximately 7 months in advance of my wedding. I met with the owner to discuss types of flowers, decorations and cost. I shared with her the total amount that I wished to spend and she told me that she could definitely provide me with everything that I had requested and could do so within my budget. I made a downpayment of $500. A month later, I scheduled an additional appointment to make final decisions and hopefully to go over the contract and review total cost. This time I met with someone else; she was rude and tried to rush me through some of my decisions. She also did not provide me with a quote, not even an approximate figure. I did not receive the quote until a month prior to my wedding. When I did, it was sent via email and the amount was triple my budget. It took me two days to get through to someone at the store in order to discuss the contract. After some research, I found that the prices given were highly inflated compared to other local vendors. For example, Destin Floral charges almost triple to hang lights in a tent compared to Kents and Kent's price included a 45 min drive from Pensacola. I cancelled my contract with Destin Floral and thankfully was able to find another florist in Pensacola (Consider the Lily's) that was able to do my flowers within the tight timeframe and within my budget. In fact, they gave me double the flowers that I was originally going to get from Destin Floral. I wouldn't however be writing this review if it weren't for the fact that after I cancelled my contract with Destin Floral, they hasseled me about my $500 deposit. They were only willing to give me $250 back, This doesn't sound like much but when you're planning a wedding, every cent counts. They promised me that they put my check in the mail. After I had not received the check within a week, I called the store and talked to the owners son. He told me that he wasn't sure they would be able to refund me my money because of the late cancellation. I told him that just a week prior, I had been told the check was in the mail and that I wouldn't have cancelled if they had kept to my budget. After much discussion, he promised to send me my money. Another week went by and I still did not receive the check. I called once a again and was told the check had been mailed. Another week went by, no check. My wedding day came and went. Finally my new husband had to stop by their store. After a heated discussion with the owners son, we were told that he would cut me a check and mail it the next day. I finally received my money two days later but only after my husband had to make an appearance in their store. The fact that I did not receive the quote until 6 months after I had booked this florist (your florist should be able to provide a quote within 5-7 business days) and because I was continually lied to (your check is in the mail...) was very upsetting. I'm sure that if you're the type of bride with endless amounts of money to spend on a weddding that this sort of thing wouldn't matter. However if you're like me and are trying to stick to a budget, I would not suggest this vendor.
