We hired Designs by Ella Rae for our wedding at the War Memorial on June 28, 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, Kay was a dream to work with—professional, responsive, and incredibly creative. She took our initial ideas and inspiration and somehow elevated them beyond what we even imagined.
We ordered bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arch florals, aisle arrangements, and a few custom touches—and every piece was absolutely stunning. The flowers were fresh, artfully arranged, and completely aligned with the look and feel we wanted for our day. One thing we especially appreciated was Kay’s flexibility with the venue’s timeline. There was another event just before ours, and she coordinated setup seamlessly without causing any stress on our end.
We received so many compliments on the flowers during the wedding, and honestly, they’re still looking gorgeous days later. The quality and care that went into each arrangement really showed.
We found designs by Ella Rae through a friend’s recommendation, and we’re so glad we did. She’s talented, kind, and truly delivers. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for wedding florals -

Kay is AMAZING! I was a little nervous to meet at her house, but she is professional and the outcome was worth my hour drive for each meeting. I had a lot of pictures from Pinterest as "visions" but nothing of what I REALLY wanted--Kay made it come to life. She was quick to answer emails and texts and really put me at ease for the setup on the day of my wedding. My bouquet was gorgeous and my husband even commented on how the boutonnieres complimented our theme for the day. Beautiful arrangements by a wonderful designer! -

Choosing Designs by Ella Rae as our wedding florist was the best decision we made! Kay is very responsive and easy to contact whenever you have questions. She really worked with us on getting exactly what we wanted for our budget. Beyond the beautiful flowers she brought to our wedding space, her team also set up the space wonderfully. For any bride who might be second guessing flowers or a flower budget - the flowers enhanced my big day and brought everything together. I could not imagine my wedding looking or feeling as beautiful without the flower arrangements and pieces by Designs by Ella Rae. -

Kay went above and beyond our expectations! We gave her our vision for our recent August 2019 wedding and she delivered. All of our guests complimented how we had one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended! Kay took care of everything from set up to tear down and it couldn't have turned out more perfect. She was professional and always looking to make our lives easier and provide suggestions. She met with us multiple times at the venue and at her house to make sure she had everything just perfect for us. Always quick and friendly with communication. We HIGHLY recommend Designs By Ella Rae, she makes planning your wedding flowers fun and a breeze. Thank you for helping our dream wedding become a reality, Kay! Beautiful job -

Amazing Florist!
Where do I begin? Kay was amazing to work with!!! From the start it’s so simple with her, she’s so organized, and so knowledgeable in flowers she gave me exactly what I wanted. Kay did my centerpieces (tall, short, and candles), she did my greenery at head table, and also 2 large flower arrangements for my ceremony & 2 corsages for the moms. Everything was so effortless, she explained it all worked with our budget, and she accepts Venmo. Everyone was in awww of our centerpieces at the reception. they look good in her pictures, but omg in person they are absolutely stunning!! Wow!! She’s so organized and detailed too. We rented the vases and she had super easy to follow instructions on how to return and everything!!! We are definitely pleased & happy!!!! -

I met with Kay a few times leading up to my wedding and while I don’t know very much at all about flowers, she took my color palette and overall vision and created such gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out. I still have my bridal bouquet because I was able to get it in water and I am going to dry it out this weekend. I’ve so enjoyed just getting to look at the gorgeous bouquet an extra week! I thought Kay priced very reasonably for the quality of her work. She did 14 centerpieces, 4 full bouquets, 3 single rose arrangements for moms/grandma, 11 boutonnières, a unity candle arrangement, cake flowers and a few other single rose accent flowers/greenery throughout the reception all for under $3000. And that included all services, delivery and pickup. I really don’t know how you can beat that! Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

It was evident from the beginning that Kay hoped to make my wedding day as beautiful as I imagined —and she exceeded my expectations immensely! Kay will work with any budget, and spend time drafting different ideas to help every bride have the most gorgeous day. I received countless compliments on our flower decor, even weeks after our big day. If you choose Designs by Ella Rae you truly will not be disappointed!

Working with her was a breeze, she was always available via phone and email. We met in person at her home to discuss the details of what we wanted and the budget we were comfortable in.
She did an amazing job bring our visions to life. Everything was breath taking and very reasonably priced which was bonus!
I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a florist for their wedding! -

I loved it all.. my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquet, the flower girl ball, the buttonnieres, the mantle, the unity candle arrangement and ALL the setting up/decorating you did. Amazing. No complaints here at all :). I will be referring many people to you.
