I booked Janet with Designer Faces for my hair and makeup for my wedding and could not have been happier with my experience! I did a trial run first where she was very open, had great ideas and wanted feedback to make sure I loved it. She really understood what I was going for and made it happen. I have very thin hair and she worked her magic without needing to use extensions! Wedding day, she came with another HMUA (Claudia) to work on my bridesmaids. They all got different makeup looks and hairstyles (updo, braid, hollywood waves, half up) and all looked phenomenal. Janet left me with a touchup kit, but I didnt need it as my makeup did not budge all night! If you are searching for a professional makeup artist who is fun to work with, will listen to what you are wanting, and who does an excellent job- book Janet! You wont regret it!

Janet was great! She was super kind and flexible - even redid one of my bridesmaid's makeup after she felt it was a bit heavy for her particular style. I also appreciated that she was one of the few makeup artists I looked at who would do a makeup trial prior to booking her. Everyone looked amazing, my husband was obsessed with my makeup that day, and she was even able to cover up the worst acne breakout of my life. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for perfect makeup on their big day!

I did a lot of research and many trials with other makeup and hair artists to make sure I would be satisfied for my big day and I am so happy with this obvious choice of Janet. She went over and beyond my expectations of bringing out the beauty of hair and makeup. The professionalism was superb with her punctuality and time for the session! If I could give more stars I would! Thank you for taking care of me and treating me like a movie star!
My one regret is that I wished I could had the budget for her entire team for my bridesmaids in the day of my wedding. I am recommending her to all my friends and family and my own upcoming events

I am so glad I chose Designer Faces to do my wedding hair and makeup (plus all of my bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and grandma). I've never been particularly talented with hair or makeup, and it was important to me that I still looked and felt like myself - just an improved version :)

I rarely wear any more makeup than brow pencil and eyeliner and my hair in anything other than a bun, so the whole wedding hair and makeup experience felt quite intimidating! Janet put me immediately at ease the first time I met her at my trial; it was a big plus to be able to see her work without having to sign a contract first. She is flexible, responsive, easy to work with and really listens to your feedback and preferences. Since I have minimal experience with hair and makeup, I didn't know what I wanted exactly, but she worked with me to come up with a final result that made me feel beautiful. On the day of the wedding, she and Cindy worked seamlessly to do hair and makeup for me and my two sisters, as well as my future SIL and MIL; we were all very pleased with the results. Hands down, I could not have picked a better beauty team. Janet and her team were so so sweet on the wedding day. They brought good vibes and made the morning less stressful with their cool, professional attitudes and tones. My girls and I were absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the services and never felt more beautiful in our lives. They worked so well with everyone asking for different make-up styles and hair styles. They worked within their allotted time and created stunning results. For instance, from our bridal trial session, my front hair pieces lost their curl after a couple of hours, and she took that information, made slight changes for wedding day, and my hair stayed curled until the next day. Better Than Expected!
I scheduled a trial with Janet and was very pleased from the start. She is so nice and easy to talk to. Her being open to my own preferences meant a lot to me. I tossed around the idea of a 2nd trial but decided against it. I spent time looking at other artists but ultimately decided Janet was the fit for us. She kept me in the loop and answered any questions I had promptly.
It was the right choice because we all looked great on the big day. Janet and Cindy were on time and so nice. It was a fun experience for all of us girls. Glam on wedding day is arguably the biggest deal for a bride. I'm so happy we looked and felt great the entire night. I recommend Designer Faces and hope I have a different reason to use them again in the future!

Janet was incredible. I am not used to wearing make up or having my hair done. I just came to the appointment with a few photos of what I liked and she made it happen. On top of that, she was unbelievably kind. She gave me makeup tips to keep everything looking good through my wedding day. She also did my moms hair and makeup and did an awesome job. I highly recommend her.

Janet and her team were amazing!!! I had my trial makeup and hair done with Janet and she also did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos. We had to postpone the wedding and adjust the people who needed make-up and hair completed. She worked with me throughout the whole process. Janet and her team (Jaylynn and Cindy) were reliable, on time and completed our hair and makeup in great timing! Janet did my wedding day hair, it stayed perfect all day long! Jaylynn did my airbrush makeup and it was amazing and also stayed perfect all day long! I also received a touch-up lipstick and makeup blotting kit ,which was great to have throughout the day and night! They gave me tips on how to keep the makeup intact, how to place my veil in my hair without messing up the style as well. All the bridesmaids, the flower girls , and my mom looked beautiful! .They were all very nice and great to work with!!!

Ms. Janet made this frumpy mother of 2 very littles feel like a glamour queen! Ms. Janet was prompt, maintained communication prior to services being rendered, was personable, and is truly an artist at her craft. My husband who has no clue about makeup nor does he particularly care if I where any specifically said if we ever have another event or outing get Ms. Janet! She made me feel like a more radiant version of MYSELF, I wasn’t overdone, my makeup wasn’t cakey or heavy and lasted the entire night. Awesome hair and makeup experience!!
We had to cancel and reschedule our wedding plans twice due to Covid. Janet was so accommodating, both times and her price remained the same during all the changes. She is very kind and quick to respond to emails about details. She showed up promptly at 7:30 AM on wedding day to get set up and had a schedule that she was able to stick to so that all 10 girls were made up and had hair done according to our timeline for departure for the venue. Everyone looked beautiful and were happy with the results. Her prices were much lower than other vendors on Weddingwire, but don' think that means you are settling. She is phenomenal and easy to work with. Thanks again Janet for compiling a team that took such great care to make us look amazing!!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Janet and her team is. We absolutely love them. They are prompt, timely, talented, kind. We used them for my brother’s wedding and used them again for mine 6 months later bc they do such an amazing job. My bridesmaids loved their makeup. I can't say enough wonderful things about Janet and Cindy. Janet did the most amazing job doing hairstyles for my mom and bridesmaid plus makeup for my daughter and myself. Cindy did my grandmother and mother's makeup flawlessly, as well as my bridesmaid who is a huge makeup buff and even she was blown away. Do not hesitate to book them. Janet and her team are WONDERFUL to work with - Janet is quick to respond, SO sweet to talk to and truly talented! I went in for my trial with no real clear idea of what I wanted my makeup to look like - her work was absolutely flawless and on the day of my wedding, my makeup didn't budge until nearly 2 a.m. when I went to wash my face. Through sun, snow and lots of dancing, everything stayed in place.
She was so flexible and easy to work with through COVID changes and the number of bridesmaids needing hair/makeup done. I can't say enough great things about how fun she was to have there for the morning of.

I booked Janet for my wedding makeup for my June wedding, well COVID hit and she was able to be very flexible and move my date around a couple of times while we were trying to find a new date that would work. She was very flexible and very responsive. So the day of the weddign I got my hair done somewhere else and by the time I was getting my make up done my hair had completly fell flat, and I was so worried that my hair looked awful. Janet not only did my makeup which was incredible and everyone loved, but she also saved my hair! For my reception next year I w ill definitly be booking her for both my hair and makeup! What can I say.... JANET WAS AMAZING! I was looking to get my makeup done for my fun 30th birthday photo shoot. I came across Designer Faces Makeup Artistry, and she did not disappoint! I would like to say I do not wear a lot of makeup everyday... only wear eye makeup! I was a little nervous, but she reminded me that 50% of the makeup would show in the photos! So happy I went with Janet’s recommendation! She went with a smoky natural look, and I LOVED IT! Book Janet for any of your makeup needs!!

Postponed due to Covid-19
Our guest was reduced from 220 to 30 due to Covid-19. Janet was extremely understanding, and more than willing to work with us after we postponed our wedding from the original date of April 5th to June 7th. She practiced the upmost professionalism, and cleanliness. Our new date was magical and stress-free, because of Janet! Jamet did my hair and makeup, and my bridesmaid's hair.

Loved how it all turned out!

I am so happy with my experience working with Designer Faces Makeup for my wedding! They were on time, ahead of schedule, and did an amazing job which really means a lot on such a big day. Needless to say Janet was able to bring the beauty inside of me, out and into view on my special day. I was able to walk down the aisle and marry the love of my life with confidence and happiness. The amount of professionalism that Janet gave me and my bridesmaids was astounding. Me and my bridesmaids looked stunning and the wedding went exactly as planned with all of our hearts full. It was such a pleasure working with Janet and her team. From the trial to the actual wedding date, she was punctual, professional and the most important thing,,, talented!! Janet did all our makeup and we looked absolutely fantastic. She listened precisely to the look we each wanted and fulfilled it. One of the bridesmaids was so impressed by her because she showed her a picture of the eye look and she did it spot on. Made it look exactly like the picture. My daughter (the bride) looked absolutely flawless. The makeup lasted us all night and we looked amazing in pictures. So impressed by this vendor. If you have any doubts, don’t. They will make you feel at ease and make you look amazing. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup. They will definitely not disappoint.

Love Captured in Exterior Beauty
Janet did an amazing job doing my makeup for my special day. My fiancé at the time got to see me, the woman he loved and cherished on the inside and the outside, become the most "beautiful and the loveliest woman on Earth."
