They were amazing!!

We loved working with this team! Garv was very organized when discussing our timeline and flow of events, and making sure that the team had everything they needed to be fully prepared when it came time for our wedding! Additionally, the emcee and dhol player were HYPE, and the Sax player was the talk of the weekend. We really enjoyed our experience with the Desibel team and would highly recommend them!!!

Desibel brings the VIBE

Garv, Anand, and Anuj were a fantastic trio to work with throughout the planning process and during the weekend of our wedding. We were pulled in by their infamous, large LED display (totally worth it) they offer, but were blown away by their organization, responsiveness, and eagerness for us to get the most out of their services. They encouraged us to make the most of the LED display, giving us ideas for personalized logos, slideshows, and music videos to display on screen.

They have a knack for feeling out the crowd and need only a theme and a few “inspo” songs to craft the musical vibe you’re looking for, and perfectly curated unique vibes for our Sangeet, Baraat, Cocktail, Reception, and post-dinner dancing events. Garv is excellent on the dhol, which add another layer of color and personalization to our events that cannot be understated. I went into the wedding not wanting to have a baraat and all of that attention on me, but with Garv on the dhol, Anand on the music, and Anuj’s hype, I now wish I’d done an even longer baraat!

Desibel couldn’t have been easier to work with, responding to our requests within minutes and through whatever method of communication you preferred. Their event templates were clear and easy to fill out, and gave us a great idea of what was to come over the weekend. If you’re looking for a crew of DJs to put on a phenomenal show, leverage their creative muscles, and be communicative and organized throughout the process then definitely hire Desibel

Best soundtrack to kicking off our forever!

Desibel Entertainment is phenomenal! They did a wonderful job creating a music playlist for our wedding that curated to the vibe of each event and made sure no songs were repeated. We loved the variety they provided and their suggestions made the party amazing. Thank you for everything you did to make this event simply the best!

No Amount of Words Could Do Justice

We cannot say enough great things about Garv Damania, Anand Trivedi, and Desibel Entertainment as a company! We started working with Garv a few months ago for our wedding that took place April 4-6, 2024. Throughout the entire process, Garv was patient, flexible, knowledgeable, timely, and always willing to go above and beyond for us. He is truly an expert at what he does - absolutely one of the best vendors that we have ever worked with for any sort of event. From creating mixes for Sangeet dances to working with us to curate the perfect music selection for not only every event but different portions of every event (cocktail hour vs. reception), Garv was patient and always understood our vision. His process in understanding his clients is comprehensive and very well organized; you know that he really cares about what his clients want. He is easily able to adapt to last-minute changes, which is definitely a quality you want in any and all of your vendors because things definitely do not always go as planned during the events. From the music and dhol to the emcee (Anand Trivedi), Desibel created an unforgettable experience for us during our wedding. Every single one of our expectations was far surpassed by the services that Garv and Anand provided. Even as we write this, no amount of words seem to do justice as to how much we loved working with them. While we do not miss wedding planning at all, we really do miss working with Garv and Anand because as great as they are at what they do, they are also wonderful people overall!

Pure dhamaka and full enjoyment

Played a great mix of songs and was really professional and skilled.

I hired DJ Damaniac for my daughter's wedding, and I was very impressed by his professionalism and skills. He played a great mix of songs that suited the mood and the crowd. He was very responsive to our requests and preferences, and he even added some surprises that made the night more fun. He was punctual, friendly, and easy to work with. He also brought his own equipment and set it up quickly and efficiently. He made sure that everything was working well and that the sound quality was perfect. He kept the party going until the end and everyone had a blast. I would highly recommend DJ Damaniac for any event that needs a DJ. He is the best.

Amazing experience!!!

We hired the DesiBel team (Garv, Anand, Anuj, Harshal) for our destination wedding in Cancun a few weeks ago. They were super organized, easily available and professional from the get go. They helped guide us in creating a different vibe for each of our 5 events. At times, wedding planning was overwhelming for us and we didn't know specifics about what we wanted, so we gave them some general ideas and left the rest up to the team and they delivered! Garv and Anand knew exactly which types of songs to play and when based on the crowd, Anuj was able to hype the crowd up and was an excellent MC and Harshal killed it on the sax. They also offered to help us out with multiple non-DJ related things throughout the weekend and handled all things AV and walk-through related independently, which was one less thing for us to worry about. We would 100000% recommend them to any couples in the future. Our guests are still raving about their team and all our events. Thank you all so much DesiBel!

Amazing Team

Amazing, Talented, and so much Fun!

We hired Desibel after seeing them at a friend's wedding. To us, there were two things that MUST be perfect at our wedding - the food and the music. If these two things are great, most people have little to complain about in our opinion. Desibel went beyond our expectations and catered to a crowd that had babies less than 1 year old to grandparents over 80. Every single guest of ours LOVED them. They read the crowd so well, provided a different yet perfect music vibe for every one of our 5 events, were accommodating when we asked them to run past their scheduled time, and best of all, did it all with a smile on their faces. Thank you Desibel, for making our wedding one of the most memorable weeks of my life!

Best Team!

The entire team was amazing to work with! From the dhol at the baarat to the saxophone at the reception, the music was on point! They were organized, professional, and easy to work with. DJ Damaniac is absolutely amazing!

DJ Garv and his team were absolutely phenomenal. Professional, always available, and organized. They answered all our questions, took time to speak with us throughout the whole process, and were easy to reschedule with due to COVID. We also chose to get large screens and the up lighting package through our DJ. We received so many compliments about our Baraat and reception and have referred them to many people since our wedding. Harshal, the saxophonist, was an absolute hit and was the icing on the cake. I can’t say enough how wonderful their team was!!! Also, I have never seen my father in law dance as much as he did to garv’s dhol!

Wedding DJ

We originally booked Garv and his team for our May 2020 wedding that was rescheduled 3 times. They were so accommodating and understanding each time we had to reschedule. When we finally got to celebrate, they kept the party going and everyone said it was the best DJ they'd ever heard. They did a great job blending the Indian and American music for all the guests to enjoy and we loved all the live instruments. Our non Indian friends had the best time at the baraat as well. We highly recommend Garv and his team!

The most incredible week

Garv, Kush, and Harshal went above and beyond in every way possible to make the week beyond our wildest imaginations. There's great vendors, and then there's one's that pour their heart and soul into everything they do. We could not have been happier with our decision. The whole team is full of just kind people, and they've been very flexible and accommodating throughout the planning process, especially during covid. During the week of events, everything flowed seamlessly and man did they add so much flair to every event from the pre-wedding festivities right up to the big day with the wedding and reception. I've lost count of how many relatives and friends have come up to me about the incredible DJ, dhol and saxophone player I had. The energy was out of this world, and right up until and beyond the last moments of the dance floor they just kept the entire crowd going, dance floor packed, and they themselves felt like part of our guests celebrating to the fullest. I could not more highly recommend Desibel!

desiBel Entertainment was amazinggg!

We had desiBel Entertainment for our wedding in California. We initially had them booked for our wedding in Chicago but had to postpone due to COVID-19. They were able to easily accommodate us when we decided to have our wedding in CA instead. Garv is responsive and worked with renting the equipment, he is also very knowledgable about the equipment and had great suggestions on making the event come to life. He worked well with our planner and other vendors to ensure everything went smoothly and helped us stay on track with timing. Anand was our MC, and he definitely got the crowd going!! Harshal was on the Saxophone and everyone loved his live music during cocktail hour, Baraat and even on the dance floor! We really appreciated the time and effort they all put into our event. We received so many compliments on the music and entertainment! Also, if you're unsure of what music you want or what to dance to etc, they have great suggestions. They also made mixes for our first dance as well as family dance performances.

We would HIGHLY recommend Desibel Entertainment for your future events!!

Absolutely incredible

I don't even know where to start with Desibel Entertainment. These guys made our wedding week(end) unforgettable. Every single event, the music was so memorable. From the dance floor music to the dinner music to the baarat to cocktail hour to wherever else music was heard - these guys killed it. What sets Desibel entertainment apart from everyone else is that Garv and Anand spent countless time, emails back and forth, phone calls etc. getting to know the type of music we like and incorporated it into the entire weekend perfectly. Seriously, we literally sent them playlists, songs, specific random remixes off Youtube, even specific verses from songs that we liked to hear and they put all of that and more. I appreciate that they get to know you as a couple and also ust how hard they work. Even during some of the wedding events, we had last minute changes or obstacles that came up and these guys just rolled with the punches along with us which helped decrease our stress. Most of all though, they just had very contagious energy the whole time and you can tell how much they love what they do. Also, major shout-out to Mike who killed it on the saxophone the whole weekend. This guy had my Indian uncles coming up to me a month after the wedding talking about how great the saxophone player was.

Thank you Desibel for such a memorable wedding weekend. I can't recommend them enough.

Your party is only as good as the music

Book this team! Our wedding was a 3 day event and these guys held it down like true professionals. They were on time, dressed very well, spoke very well and were easy to work with. I had a specific set list that needed to be timed perfectly and they nailed it. From the MCing to dhol playing to getting guests on the dance floor these guys brought the energy that spread to the crowd. I got nothing but praise from all of our guests about how great the music was and how much their feet hurt from dancing and how they lost their voices singing. Djs played everything i wanted and everything the crowd wanted. We went late almost every night and the music never stopped. In the wedding industry you pay for what you get and music can make or break your event, don't pass up on these guys. Oh and did I mention they had a saxophone player.....This guy stole the show and was playing songs we all know and love. Take the saxophone player the dhol player and then add the dj, your wedding will leave your guests breathless. Cant say enough but these guys were great from start to finish.

These are guys are unbelievable! Their work ethic and energy is unbeatable and their choice of music is perfect. We had a 2 days of the wedding that they did the music for and we could not have been happier with the choice. We also had an additional Dhol player, Tabla player and a Saxaphone artist who worked along their team. These guys had our guests on their feet the entire time! My husband and I hired Decibel Entertainment for our wedding events back in October. We were amazed by how professional and fun they were. I would definitely recommend using Decibel Entertainment for your wedding entertainment. Their live music set up was absolutely show stopping. They listened to what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. They were responsive and worked well with everyone that contacted them about dances, skits, etc. They were very organized and made sure everything was in order at the wedding events. I don't have the words to thank them enough. We were extremely happy with all that they did.

DJ Damanic and DJ Kush were amazing!! Our package included a Live Saxophone Player, Live Drummer, and Live Dhol Player.Our guests are still raving about how awesome they were. To quote a guest " I wish I could go back in time and hire your DJ for my wedding." We had a fusion wedding, Southeast Asian and Catholic. The live band along with the DJ music was a great way to fuse the two cultures together. Our party was supposed to end at 11pm and guests were still dancing on the dance floor at 11:15pm. The guest's from another wedding at the venue came into our room to party with us "because our music was really cool." My husband loves Linkin Park and they created a mix that incorporated Linkin Park so we could dance to it. He was overjoyed when they played it!!!! Without them, our reception would not have been the same. They are kind and loving people who really have a passion to make the couple's night fantastic. Words cannot describe how much joy they brought to our reception! We are so happy we went with them! Thank you DJ KUSH and DJ Damaniac for making our wedding so awesome! :)

Simply put these guys are AMAZING! They played outstanding music throughout all of our wedding events and played the right things at the perfect times. What an incredible evening it was and the DJ services made it happen. The live Dhol, Saxaphone and Drums had the attendees completely mesmerized. It was non-stop live entertainment for several hours and the audience was on their feet at all times. The song selections was exceptional. The manner in which live dhol and saxaphone was intermixed with the rituals made for a sublime experience. Never before had Minneapolis seen such kind of entertainment. Great.

Garv & Anand are the best DJs I have ever worked with or even witnessed in action!
They DJed our wedding, and the DJing in addition to the live saxophonist and drummer transformed the dance floor. All of our wedding guests were blown away by the atmosphere that they created. I wanted to perform a song at the reception, and they accompanied me on the guitar with their drums and saxophone, and created an amazing performance!

In addition, they were easy to reach, and met with us several times before the reception to go over details (song requests, itinerary, rehearsal for the reception performance). Above all, they truly enjoy their work, and are dedicated to their craft. Without hesitation, I would recommend these guys to all my friends and family!

We've had the honor and privilege of working alongside DJ Garv's Team and we were (and continue to be!) completely amazed by their talents. From their amazing talent to keep the crowd enthusiastic to their unique approach for providing exceptional DJ services--we have watched Garv and his team produce extraordinary events for their clients.

The whole team was well coordinated and kept communication open throughout the entire planning process. Their talented team consists of DJ's, extraordinary dhol players, a saxophone player and a drum player. The baraat is always live (and not pre-recorded)--that never fails to keep the crowd dancing. From traditional ceremony music to mainstream reception music--this team is on top of it all. In our most recent experience at the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, they literally managed to keep the dance floor (consisting of all age groups) packed the entire night. The DJs performed live on the dance floor, interacting with all guests to make them feel part of something special. They obviously have a passion for what they do and a gift of knowing how to personalize each wedding. Garv and his team were amazing! They were so incredibly fun and easy to work with. They have an amazing balance of professionalism while still knowing how to have a good time. In preparation for our wedding they met with us several times and always sent out detailed meeting minutes summarizing what we had discussed. One time they even met us at our wedding venue which was an hour away on a weekday! On the actual wedding day they were exceptional. My husband wanted to surprise me by playing a live song with his band and they did everything they could to accommodate them.They set up the drums and worked with our event hall on getting all the equipment set up. They didn't have to do that for us, but they are just that type of a team. They also made it super easy and fun for me to surprise my husband with some music/guitar playing during my wedding entrance. For the baraat and reception, they brought so much energy and truly knew how to read our guests and entertain. They had a live saxophone, drummer, and dhol which made our wedding one of a kind and we still have guests talking about how much they loved that. DJ Khush & Damaniac were incredible! Our dance floor was packed all night and we continue to get compliments about how great the music was. The live drummer and sax player add a nice unexpected touch and really help in keeping everything lively.

Not only are they great at what they do, they go above and beyond their DJ role to make sure your wedding is what you want. We met with them a few weeks before our wedding to go over all the details and they were so accommodating to everything we wanted. They offered great input when my Fiance and I couldn't decide the order of our reception program or entrance songs. On the day of they also took charge and made sure everything was running smoothly. They had the order of reception entrances with them and made sure everyone was where they needed to be.

We would recommend them to anyone and were really happy with our decision!

Both DJ Damaniac and DJ Khush were an absolute pleasure to work with. DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac were, hands down, the best decision I made for my wedding. To start off with, they listen to what you're looking for and actually meet with you in person to go over the little details, that you may not have even thought of. Extremely prompt, organized, and FUN!! I had vendors that my wedding planner & I were chasing days before my wedding to ensure that they would deliver what was signed for. This was not the case with these guys- they were prompt and extremely organized from a planning perspective, which made working with them a pleasure and one less thing to worry about. Moving on to the wedding, they did an awesome job at the baraat, bringing in a live dhol player and a portable music player to keep the music pumping from outside the banquet hotel into the wedding hall - and they have an arsenal wedding songs - so nothing for you to search for or hunt down. For the reception, DJ Damaniac also MC'd my event, and he had the crowd pumped and ready to party!! They brought in a live dhol & a saxaphone player, and totally rocked our wedding reception!! And their dance floor lighting system was a huge hit!! They did a great balance of playing a good mix of indian and american music based on who was on the dance floor. They sent us a few samples via email, which we approved, and just with that much information they had all of our friends on the dance floor the whole night. With little direction from us, they were able to cater to our crowd. They literally did not stop the party until the lights were turned on.

If I had to re-do my wedding again, there's a few things I would change, but I would without reservation make sure that I had these guys as my DJ's. They deliver on what they say will do, make your life easier by going the extra mile and being proactive, and most importantly they will ROCK your wedding & reception!

We couldn't more highly recommend DJ Garv and DJ Khush. We mainly worked with DJ Garv for our wedding, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was responsive to emails, knowledgeable about South Asian weddings, provided expertise to help plan the event, and even was helpful on the day of the ceremony. We've received so many compliments about how enjoyable the baraat and reception music were. The group was even able to provide a live, classical saxophonist for the baraat and a live drummer for the reception, both which added to the festive atmosphere and kept people on the dance floor. As much fun as we had and as many services as they provided, I think the best part about DJ Garv was how easy he was to work with and how much he took a genuine interest in making our wedding as enjoyable as it could be.

Garvish and his team were top notch on october11-13 for all of our wedding events! He even met with us and wet over details that were important to our families 2-3 times before the wedding events. The sangeet, garba, Baraat and wedding all had a great momentum and tone which was greatly because of the musical tone the dj set. Each event was unique and the team just never got tired! Everyone enjoyed and felt the positive energy and creative talent from the Dj and his team. Also,They went beyond what even our contract said and provided the best musical team!

When we were looking DJs for our wedding we were nervous because we had had a bad experience before so we did a lot of research. We knew almost immediately after talking to Garv that be wanted to go with him. You will not regret hiring DJ Damaniac and Khush for your wedding!

They did an amazing job keeping our guests on the dance floor for 2 days during our Sangeet and wedding! They did an amazing job with the Baraat also. These guys are amazing and full of energy; they are modern and not the least bit cheesy (which some Indian DJs can be).

Garv was very professional and easy to work with. They will go above and beyond to make you happy (they even helped my mom clear off the mandap/stage after the ceremony).

If you're wedding planning and need a DJ, book DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac today. They met with us on two occasions to discuss music and logistics and were responsive to what we requested. While I'm partial--it was my wedding--this was the best time I've had at a wedding reception. I had two drinks all night b/c of the outstanding song selection. The dance floor was packed the entire night--people just couldn't stop dancing. Two highlights that come to mind: Fresh Prince of Bel Air intro (have you ever heard that at a reception?) and Biggie's Hypnotize, which displayed their prowess on the turntables.

From the baraat to the introductions to cocktail hour and dinner to the reception, DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a great time. They let me beat on the dhol and my sister-in-law play the drums. In talking with folks afterward, the superlatives were many: my 18-year-old cousin, for instance, tweeted that it was the 'best day of [her] life'; the DJs deserve much of the credit for that. Do yourself a favor. Ask them to DJ your wedding. You'll be glad you did.

Our DJs went above and beyond for our wedding and reception!! They did so much more than play music at our wedding. They were very helpful in the planning process as well. They were extremely professional, friendly, thorough and detail oriented. These guys were a huge hit at our wedding and reception and are extremely talented! Our guests were dancing nonstop to their music and we received such great feedback from the guests! We loved the nice touch of a drummer and saxophone at the reception which was really unique and enjoyable! I would highly recommend them for any wedding and reception! Booking DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made!!! They did a fantastic job at my baraat, wedding ceremony, and reception! They even surprised us by bringing in a live Saxophone player at the baraat, and also Drummer and Saxophone player at the reception!!

Our families love to dance and these guys satisfied everyone. We had a 90 minute baraat and these guys didn't miss a beat. At our reception, they played dhole ON THE DANCE FLOOR which was a huge hit! We planned our reception to end at 12am but these guys got the crowed so pumped up that it ended at 2:30am!

They went above and beyond what I expected. In fact, they even helped us plan out our reception program and have us nice ideas. I would highly recommend DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac to anyone!

We were introduced to Garv and Anand when our previous DJ cancelled on us. My wife is Slovak and I am Indian, and for our reception, we needed a complex mix of American, Indo, and European dance songs, as well as some Slovak folk songs to be played during dinner and cocktail hour. Garv assured us that given his experience with hybrid weddings he would be able to provide what we needed. He already had an incredible selection of Indian and American dance hits, and it was easy to provide him with European and Slovak songs that he could not obtain himself. He was able to work with us over the phone and e-mail, as we do not live in Chicago, and were planning our wedding from Los Angeles.

We were drawn to Garv and Anand's service because they include a dhol player to liven up the dance floor free of charge. We decided to also have the dhol player for our Baraat. To make our Baraat extra special, Garv decided to supplement the dhol with an additional dhol, a snare drum, and a saxophone player free of charge. As a result the Baraat was a huge hit with all of our guests.

During the reception, Garv and Anand were able to take our tough mixture of genres and play a set of songs that appealed to the entire diverse crowd. They were very friendly and receptive to our requests. When they brought the dhol player on the dance floor, the crowd went nuts!

Our weddings and reception were amazing, and incredibly fun, and DJ Damaniac and DJ Khush's service was the best part of all of it. We cannot recommend them more highly!

DJ Khush and DJ Damaniac provided their services at our wedding, and they were PHENOMENAL! They are extremely gifted at what they do and were, in fact, flawless in their execution of providing sound at our outdoor wedding ceremony, playing the dhol, DJing the reception, and even MCing the reception.

I know music and sound, and these guys have a very keen ear for even the most subtle musical elements. They can feel a crowd and respond accordingly, evolving throughout the night, like no DJs I have ever seen. We had a half Indian-Hindu, half White-Christian wedding with a crowd that had a great diversity of musical interests and dancing tendencies. Many in attendance were not typically inclined to dance at weddings. Yet, DJs Khush and Damaniac got everyone dancing from the very beginning, engaging all the different people with a perfect blend of music that was the direct result of their rare musical instincts and understanding of crowd entertainment. The energy only increased throughout the evening.

They were extremely professional at all times, including during the planning process. They were quick to respond to inquiries, very thorough in their preparation, and always reaching out to us to discuss new ideas and our preferences. We felt very well taken care of leading into the wedding and could not be more impressed afterwards. I give my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a DJ to seek out the services of DJ Khush and DJ Damaniac.

Anand and Garv were absolutely fantastic throughout the ENTIRE wedding process! They DJd our friends' wedding the year before ours and my husband and I thought that it was the best wedding music we had ever heard (and we go to a lot of weddings). We asked Anand and Garv to DJ our wedding, and were so glad they agreed! They were amazing professionals from start to finish, including planning with us, putting together a list, honoring all our wishes for how we wanted the reception to go, and doing a fantastic job with everything, from the music to the lighting! Everyone had a blast at the reception and to this day our family and friends tell us how much fun they had and that they had never been to such a packed dance floor all night at a wedding. I have since then recommended Anand and Garv to several family and friends, all of whom have worked with them and had fantastic experiences as well. DJ Damaniac was very professional and equiped to handle the demands of a large indian wedding. We were getting compliments about the DJ services for weeks after the wedding from our guests from all age ranges. We decided to go with the package include the dhool and saxophone which was worth it. They did a great job!

Specifically, for wife and my reception entrance I had a specific vision for the song, dry ice machine, and lights and Dj Damaniac was on the the same page as me and made sure he understood the details of my vision and executed perfectly.

We were referred to DJ Khush & DJ Damaniac by a friend and we weren't disappointed. Both guys are young and animated and absolutely on board to make your wedding reception the most fun. First, let me just say that during our reception, our friends kept coming up to us to say that the music was fantastic. That right there is indicative of their quality. More than that though, DJ Khush and Damaniac were incredibly responsive to everything we wanted, especially when we threw requests at them in the last minute. My husband planned his entrance during our reception literally half an hour before the event, and it was pulled off beautifully, with the cooperation of our DJs. They had a dhol player and a drummer for us, and they also helped set up the lighting beautifully. Overall, for the amount we paid for their services, we got amazing results and more. Plus, these guys are really friendly and more than anything want to make sure you get exactly what you want for your special day. I highly recommend DJ Khush and DJ Damaniac to make your wedding reception fun, energetic, and unforgettable.

Before the wedding, they were difficult to get a response from, slow in replying to emails, and hard to get returned calls from. But the weekend of the wedding they really got everything together and it turned it to be a great experience. They really do a good job.
