There are not enough good words in the world to properly describe how amazing DJs David and Chauncey of Denver Sound and Color were at our wedding this September! They absolutely hit it out of the park and made the whole day PERFECT! My goodness did they help us throw one incredible party and they danced with us too! All of our guests have been absolutely raving about the music and DJs!
From ceremony to dinner to dancing all night, David and Chauncey nailed every single aspect with the perfect balance of professionalism and fun! All the planning leading up to the wedding with the DS&C team was seamless and so stress free. They’re all the best!! Oh and they ran the photo booth and made us a special guest book full of the prints and notes. Thank you thank you thank you!

Zack was our DJ for our April 2026 wedding and he crushed it! The process leading up to the wedding was super easy - Zack is organized, professional, and communicative. He was very clear about everything he needed to be successful on the day, and we knew we were in good hands! On the wedding day, Zack kept the vibes up and the party going. Everyone had a great time - the old, the young, and the in-between! Highly recommend! -

Our DJs (David & Zack) were amazing! They took the time on an initial call to really understand the type of music and vibe we were going for and then did an amazing job hitting the mark on the day of. We had some special requests (like ceremony songs we needed timed correctly and a surprise song) and everything went perfectly. I had the pleasure of working with Denver Sound & Color for a recent wedding, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a wedding planner, it's crucial for me to collaborate with vendors who are professional, adaptable, and truly care about creating an unforgettable experience for the couple and their guests—and Zack & his team exceeded all expectations.
From the very beginning, they were responsive and easy to communicate with, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the event, Zack arrived on time, set up seamlessly, and worked efficiently with the rest of the vendor team to ensure everything flowed perfectly.
The music was spot-on! He kept the energy up throughout the evening, reading the crowd beautifully and making sure everyone—from the couple's grandparents to their friends—was on the dance floor. The transitions were flawless, and he even managed to incorporate the couple's special requests in a way that felt natural and fun.

Zack was absolutely amazing! From start to finish Zack was informative, organized and professional. The booking process was easy but thorough and Zack was super fun to work with. Words really cannot explain how amazing Zack and Eric were! I was hesitant to get a DJ at first, but I cannot imagine if we didn’t. They were absolutely professional, talented, and so much fun. I'm a wedding photographer who's had the pleasure to work with Zack from Denver Sound & Color at a couple weddings.
His lighting and audio skills technically impressive, and you can tell that he gets to know each couple to create a custom experience. He's sure to play music that gets everyone on the dance floor!
I highly recommend Denver Sound & Color to any couple looking for a professional and reliable audio/visual experience.

The DJ that showed up could not speak English. For example, to announce the new bride and groom to the guests, he said something like, "Chair get out stand, for Mr. Mrs, xxx". The wedding coordinator was beside herself trying to help them follow the agenda. During toasts, the DJs routinely didn't know who was supposed to be speaking even though the wedding coordinator had just told them. They couldn't find the right song for the Father-Daughter dance; so, we awkwardly stood in the middle of the dance floor while they searched for it. The only saving grace was the wedding coordinator. I do not recommend hiring them.Denver Sound & Color's reply:
Hi Scott,
We've asked you to edit your review due to it's inaccurate description of our services. In your original post, you mentioned that we "bait & switched" the couple which is absolutely not true. Jessi & Mitch were informed at the time of signing an agreement with us that their DJ would be assigned to them 30 days before the wedding. Omar, who also speaks perfect English, met with them weeks beforehand over a Zoom chat and they had a significant amount of time to express any concerns they may have had.
We were not made aware of the multi-room setup - the service you're referring to - at any point before the wedding. In your original post, you said we charged you $300 for this. This upgrade is only $200 which we originally discounted $75 for a total of $125, and eventually the entire amount for you.
We've now refunded/waived over half of your bill and have offered to refund the entire amount. We've also offered to provide additional services for absolutely free. In short, the details of this review remain highly inaccurate on several points. We strive to provide an absolute outstanding DJ/MC service which can be shown by all of our other existing reviews to date.
