Incredible, Unique Wedding Addition

Randy is incredible. I reached out to a few bagpipers in Denver and he was the most responsive, best bang for your buck, and clearly the most experienced. He played at my wedding as guests entered the ceremony and then played again during cocktail hour. We loved having him and would recommend him to anyone planning a special event.

Randy was very pleasant to work with - Aside from a wedding venue snafu we were very pleased - He was to arrive 45 minutes prior to get a good feel for the area and location and play as guests arrived Loved that as the wedding ceremony was over he leD bride and from away , Then he walked to the venue and played a few more songs as guest were arriving and having cocktails .

Randy is the best!!!

Randy was such a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly responsive and professional through the whole process. He greated my wedding guests with the sounds of the beautiful bagpipe. When my wedding was delayed, he played a few more. He really brought my Scottish wedding to a whole new level. Book him! You won't regret it.

Best Bagpiper Ever!

Great Experience!

We used Randy for our wedding ceremony last month in Estes Park and he was fantastic! We had him play music as guests arrived and throughout the ceremony. He has tons of experience playing ceremonies and was a very helpful resource during planning and lead up to the big day. He was also very responsive over email, we always heard back within 2 days or so. Would definitely recommend him!

He was very informative and personable while also staying professional. He respond in a timely manner and was extremely helpful in deciding on the tunes he would play.
He was able to fit us in with very short notice with no problem and was very friendly!

Great Bagpipe Tribute!

Amazing! So thoughtful!

My parents had reached out to Randy to ask if he could play during my wedding ceremony. While Randy was not available for our day, he went above & beyond and found a fellow bagpiper that WAS available for our day! It's difficult to find that level of care sometimes these days. Randy put my parents in contact with Ian Jackson. Ian was phenomenal, our day was perfect and we can't thank Randy and Ian enough for making our day so memorable.

If you want to have a bagpiper at your event, look no further than Denver Bagpiper! I found out at the wedding rehearsal that the father of the bride wanted to surprise his daughter with a bagpiper. Randy was available which was great and flexible with his time and everything worked out awesome! Both the bride and groom were surprised and the wedding guests loved it as well!

Randy was great! Our guests loved the bagpipes. I heard from some of my guests that guests from another wedding at the same venue, came to our ceremony because they heard the bagpipes. Randy played the bagpipes during our processional, recessional, and for the father daughter dance. He also played as guests were arriving to the venue and getting seated. In addition to being a great bagpiper, he was also very helpful and flexible. He suggested a couple of songs that really hit the mark for each of the times we wanted him to play. It was exactly what we were going for and it turned out great! All the guests loved the bagpipe and it also has special meaning for my family and father. The only time my Dad said he choked up during the whole ceremony was when the bagpipes started playing when he was walking down the aisle. Randy was also super flexible with the timing of when we had to play. We were running a bit behind schedule and he patiently waited to play the father/daughter dance which was a lively jig. I would definitely recommend Randy for those wanting to hire a bagpiper!

Randy played the bagpipes at our wedding. He did a wonderful job. I contacted him and another bagpiper. Due to Randy's quick responses, I chose him over the other piper, and he did not disappoint. He played Highland Cathedral for the processional in honor of my Scottish grandmother, and Murdo's Wedding along with some other tunes for the recessional.

Randy was an excellent choice! He has more than 30yrs experience and was very helpful when trying to choose music, etc. He was very flexible and even came to our walk through at the castle, which he did not have to attend and did not charge anything extra. Speaking of price Randy seems to price himself very competitively and is excellent at what he does. Look know further Randy is your guy!

Randy is top notch! He kept in touch with me during the planning phase, helped with song recommendations and offered to play something special should I have a request. He was very helpful in guiding us through the ceremony and piping the wedding party down the aisle. It was so much fun, unique and everyone loved it! Randy was so easy to communicate and work with. He had great insight about how the typical wedding procession flows, and that helped take the planning responsibility out of our hands! He was also very open to our zany ideas and was easy going and went with the flow. His bagpipe skills are excellent and, per his suggestion, he wore an outfit that matched our ceremony perfectly. My husband and I recently had a wedding at the Dunafun Castle in Evergreen, CO. We decided to have a Scottish ceremony and include the bagpipes. We got Randy Arent's information from the venue, as he often plays for the weddings there. We were not disappointed. The bagpipes sounded beautiful and we got many compliments. When we first emailed Randy, he got back to us right away and set an apt. to learn more about what we were looking for. He always got back to us right away and answered any questions we had. we also decided to add in a second bagpiper, so he included someone else he knew who was also great. Both went out of their way to make sure everyone knew what songs they would play during the ceremony, so our wedding party was on the same page. Having the bagpipes at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. They were beautiful!

Randy was wonderful. His talent is clear. We had minimal contact with him prior to the wedding as we had a lot on our plate. With the bare essentials he did exactly what we were looking for. In a moment I will never forget, I walked out of the gondola building at mid-mountain in Steamboat. Together with our officiant, I walked up toward the overlook, where the wedding would be held. A few steps off the deck and I was hit with the sound of Randy's beautiful pipes. I walked alone up toward the empty chairs and a beautiful view of the Yampa Valley. While I've never been to the Scottish countryside, Randy took me there. I got to my spot and looked back at the guests walking the 200 meters or so to the overlook. All the while, Randy provided a magical soundtrack to it all. Soon enough, my bride-to-be began her walk up. The pipes made it very special. After a wonderful ceremony, Randy played a recessional and then, very kindly, asked if we wanted a photo with him. On our way back from having taken some portrait photos, we had just said to ourselves, "darn, I wish we would have had a photo with Randy." Somehow he read our minds. Randy and his pipes, as well as his professionalism and thoughtfulness are top notch. We recommend him highly.

Randy played the bagpipes for my son's wedding. Unfortunately there was a change of plans due to the weather (raining) but Randy improvised and continued to play for our guests at another location, without me discussing it with him. Literally, he played in the rain!! Thankfully we could still hear him.

We were located in a very remote mountain ranch called Midnight Ranch north of Steamboat Lake. Randy was on time! We heard his pipe from the house and my wife started to cry. Wonderful music in a beautiful setting! It was a Celtic wedding and Randy and his pipe really made it authentic! Great job!

Randy Arent played the bagpipes at our June 21st Dunafon Castle Wedding. It was an Irish affair with the wedding party all dressed in kilts as well as many of our Irish relatives. Randy was the perfect addition to the clan. He played wonderfully and flawlessly for our guests as they arrived. I could not have asked for a better bagpiper to pipe me down the aisle! Randy brought his own ideas for how the wedding party should be introduced and I was thankful for his suggestions that worked marvelously. Randy made me feel comfortable and was always warm, friendly, and responsive. Our day would not have been complete without him.

Randy was so very helpful on music suggestions and worked well with our schedule and adding additional pipe and drum to make the ultimate surprise for a special part in our daughters wedding ceremony. the SURPRISE came off without a hitch. :-) Our guests were very excited and enjoyed the music/jigs Randy played for them while we had our pictures taken inside the church after the ceremony. He was wonderful!!! :-)

Randy was outstanding in every way. First of all - very easy to make arrangements with, especially from a long distance. Very prompt in responding to emails and questions. Randy recently played at my wedding ceremony, and he was perfect! All the guests loved the music and I believe it gave our wedding a special touch. Randy was great to work with as well. My father enjoys listening to bagpipes so as a surprise to him I called Randy. Randy arrived on time and gave a fantastic show according to my dad and neighbors. My father e:mailed me on my vacation that Randys surprise was "my birthday, christmas and new years all wrapped up in one!"

Amazing! Our guests loved being welcomed into the church by bag pipes. We also were escorted back to the venue by Randy- simply wonderful. Randy was professional, on time, kind, respectful and VERY talented! He was dressed in traditional attire and played beautifully. I would recommend him to anyone interested- he was extremely easy to work with and was an awesome addition to our wedding!

Randy was great to have at our Olympic themed birthday party - his bagpipe music was exactly what the party needed. The event was outside and terribly hot but that didn't slow Randy down at all. He played for about an hour and half and did everything we asked (i.e. follow us around during the Olympic walk, sent the party off as we got on our bus). He even shared stories with us about his authientic Scottish gear. The music sounded great and would recommend him for any event that needed some Scottish flare.

I rented this bagpiper for my birthday party, where we went to a few pubs downtown and had him play tunes for my friends, as well as the other patrons in the bar. Definitely a great time and definitely something that I would recommend to anyone looking for a phenomenal time!!

Randy played the bagpipes for our production of "Brigadoon" at Town Hall Arts Center. The production was well-reviewed and played to sold out audiences for 6 weeks and Randy's music added greatly to the authenticity and flavor of the show. As the choreographer of the show, I worked closely with Randy and found him to be enthusiastic and extremely professional. We were very fortunate to have him as part of this production.

Randy did a great job. He meet with the wedding couple before the wedding a couple of times to go over the music. Music was wonderful. He even brought a quake for my son and his bride to toast from. He was wonderful. I would use him again.

Mr. Arent was professional throughout the entire process. He was flexible, accommodating, and punctual.

Mr. Arent did exactly what we asked for, and actually even delivered above that. Our expectations were exceeded. He is an extremely talented individual. The music was well-played and very beautiful. We had a guest who submitted a photo of him to their twitter account during the ceremony! Everyone was so impressed with his music and we received numerous compliments from our wedding guests. I hired Randy to play for our wedding cocktail hour as a surprise for my husband. Randy worked with me to keep the surprise a secret and his sense of humor about the whole situation was invaluable. I can’t give Randy enough praise for his role in our wedding. His level of professionalism and attention to detail were amazing, right down to a toast of fine Scotch whisky before the ceremony. The pipes sounded excellent leading us into our ceremony; the mystic of bagpipes can’t be matched. I highly recommend his service.
