Dennis was truly amazing throughout the entire process. He got to know my husband and me and was able to make our ceremony personable. Dennis was so professional and poised and made our service feel so calm and intimate. He made sure to utilize our meetings to get the exact feel and wording that would fit us as a couple and provide the best guest experience. Dennis even asked what color suit he should wear in order to match our wedding colors. After our ceremony so many guests made sure to come up to us to say how wonderful Dennis was! They thought the ceremony was absolutely perfect. My husband and I are so grateful to Dennis for exceeding expectations and honestly being the best officiant we could have asked for. -

A Thoughtful, Personalized, and Seamless Experience - The Best Officiant!
We truly cannot recommend Dennis enough! From our very first conversation, we just clicked - he made everything feel so easy and stress-free, which was such a relief since I was planning the entire wedding on my own.
Dennis guided us through the process with genuine care and professionalism. After we filled out his questionnaire and shared a few elements we wanted to include, he came back with a first draft of the ceremony script that completely blew us away. It was clear that he really listened to us.
We envisioned a very intimate ceremony that included a prayer, our love story, our shared values, and some meaningful personal touches and readings - and Dennis brought it all to life beautifully. His professionalism, warmth and presence on the day made everything feel even more special and heartfelt.

Throughout the entire process Dennis was by our side ready to answer any and all questions we had regarding the day. From our initial phone call to the questionnaire, he was fun and attentive. He explained in detail what we would need to do to get our marriage license and walked us through the entire process leading up to the day he signed it! During our rehearsal, Dennis took the reins like a true professional, talking the entire wedding party through what the ceremony would be like so there would be no hiccups!
The next day, Dennis showed up calm, cool, and collected. He greeted both of us and calmed any nerves we had. He even took the time to dry off the bride's and bridesmaid's bouquets before it was time to line up for the ceremony and worked with our DJ to make sure that the song cues lined up PERFECTLY!
He was so well spoken and was able to convey our love story to our guests in such a way that you would've thought he was a fly on the wall during our entire relationship. He even stepped out of view when we exchanged our rings and read our vows (we had previously only considered having him step aside during the first kiss!) When we mentioned to him that we wanted to do a "unity shot" before our first kiss, he knew just what to say to segway seamlessly into it and finessed the pouring of the shots ON SITE (everyone was impressed)!
We would absolutely recommend Dennis again and again! -

My husband and I had gone to a friends wedding where Dennis Thomas was the officiant, and he was a natural talent! We reached out to him to see if he was available on our wedding date and all roads aligned. Dennis took the time to get together and with my husband and I and actually get to know us and our love story, it wasn’t untill then he wrote the most personal, intimate, romantic, yet funny script to our ceremony and Sent it to us to allow for any changes we wanted (which were none)! dennis is charming and nothing but professional to work with. He engaged our guest and provided us with a ceremony we couldn’t have written better ourselves. Let me first start by saying Dennis is one of the most down to earth, easy going people I have ever met. Personally we did not want a traditional pastor or priest. We were looking for a modern short ceremony structure that included both some tear jerking moments and some laughter. Dennis brought exactly that and more. Dennis was so easy to work with. He met with us, got to know us a little bit, asked us questions and poof just curated the most perfect ceremony structure. He also showed up ON TIME to our rehearsal dinner and guided everyone through a quick run through with ease. Some comments I received from wedding guests were that Dennis spoke in such a clear, eloquent manner. He grabbed your attention and made you feel like you were immediately being spoken to as a friend. He has a way of making a connection with the guests right off the bat. There wasn't a dry eye during our ceremony and there were also many laughs. I would highly recommend Dennis to any couple getting married! -

We lucked out with having to postpone our 2020 wedding. We wanted to hire Dennis per a recommendation but he was booked for our Oct. 2020 date. When we reschedule to 2021, he was available and could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
In December 2020, we decided we wanted to elope in Annapolis, just the 2 of us. Dennis was so helpful with the entire process. He was flexibly and quick to respond, and wrote us a beautiful ceremony for our special day. He was available to answer any and all of our questions, and help us plan still for our Oct 2021 wedding. Dennis married us on August 29, 2020! He stuck it out with us after having to postpone from March 21, 2020 and having to change venues 3 different times due to COVID. He didn't complain once and was happy to do anything to make our day happen and to make it special, which he certainly did! He wrote the script for our ceremony and personalized it to us perfectly. I would highly recommend Dennis!! -

Great Experience!
Dennis was the easiest choice we made for the whole wedding. From our very first phone call we knew he would be perfect. He was very friendly and had a great personality. If you’re looking to book an officiant for your big day- your search should end right here! As soon as I sent an inquiry to Dennis, we had a phone call set up; as soon as our phone call was complete, I venmo’d him the down payment because I knew he was perfect for our day! Dennis was in touch many times before the wedding and rehearsal (even when he got married AND was on his honeymoon a week or so before our day). He showed up to our rehearsal early, had everyone in order very quickly, and let us test out different orders of events, we left the rehearsal KNOWING we booked the perfect officiant. Our day was 11/16/19; it was 34 degrees and windy but the length of our ceremony was short, sweet, and perfect thanks to Dennis! He had prepared an amazing script that described our relationship perfectly; and the lightness and airiness of the ceremony had people crying, smiling, feeling joyful, and even laughing towards the end! He was so professional, knowledgeable about the wedding industry, and overall a nice calming energy. He even reached out after the wedding to remind us to obtain our legal certified copy of our marriage license! Dennis was one of the vendors we hired who totally had our minds at ease. I would 500/10 recommend him to friends, family, and any other person looking for a smooth and perfect day! Thanks a bunch Dennis! -

We have known Dennis for many years, and it meant the world to us to have him officiate our wedding. Dennis is so professional, and is very passionate about his career. He truly was invested in our requests for our ceremony. We wanted a short ceremony, focusing on our love, and he delivered beyond our expectations! We received many compliments from wedding guests saying how great, and well spoken Dennis was during the ceremony. We would recommend him to anyone. There is no doubt in our minds, if we were planning our wedding again, we would chose him every time. Dennis was a great officiant at our wedding and we’ve had a few guests tell us how lovely the ceremony was! He was easy to talk to when we first met for a consultation, and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding ceremony. We wanted a short ceremony, focusing on love and not so much on religion, and requested a unity candle at the ceremony. He delivered! The script for the ceremony was well-written and he took our suggestions to heart (not that the script needed much changing, it was great from the start). We also loved having him at the rehearsal to show everyone the ropes, since neither we nor our wedding party had ever been involved in a wedding. Dennis was easy-going, fun to work with, and was a great speaker at the ceremony for us. We’d definitely recommend him. -

We knew we wanted to hire Dennis the first time we saw him! We had our consultation at a local brewery which was so cool. Dennis is someone I would recommend to anyone I knew was going to get married! As soon as I contacted, he responded the next day! Dennis was our officiant for our wedding on 6/7/19 at Turf Valley in Ellicott City. He and Rachel were absolutely wonderful. We pretty much had not a clue what we were doing and Dennis helped us organize everything for the ceremony. He wrote beautiful words that were exactly what we wanted. Dennis was absolutely the BEST. We had initially thought we wanted a friend to officiate but after months of no follow through on their end, I found myself scrambling to find someone. I AM SO GRATEFUL that I found Dennis! From our first chat, in my slight state of panic, he put me completely at ease and we immediately clicked. It was clear how important his work is to him and I felt it instantly that he was the perfect choice to facilitate the most important part of our wedding. He nailed every detail. Dennis is a dream! From the moment I contacted him, I knew he was going to be excellent. Dennis is warm, kind, and just an overall delightful person. He helped write our vows and was totally on board when my husband and I wanted to incorporate a little humor into them. On the day of the wedding, Dennis was charming, incredibly well spoken and had great timing - keeping our ceremony just as we had planned it. My husband and I couldn't be happier about our decision to hire Dennis. He was the first and only person we interviewed for the job and after our first meeting with him, my then fiancé an I were firm on our decision to hire Dennis. He was very responsive throughout the process and answered all of the many questions we had! Dennis did an incredible job officiating our short ceremony, and his friendly demeanor made a lot of our guests think that we was a close family friend.

Professional, Gracious, and Collaborative
We were outside of Dennis's regular range, but he was willing to meet us half way for our consultation and gladly came to our venue. He collaborated with us regularly on our ceremony and made it easy for us to include personalized elements that were important to us. Efficient Officiant and Orator
Our experience with Dennis was very positive as he was the consummate professional we expected in an officiant. From our first communication, he was attentive, well-spoken, and thorough, which made us feel at ease with the process of getting married. Dennis took time to make sure we understood the process and paperwork, gave us clear responsibilities, and worked with us in a timely manner to create a unique script which incorporated our history and desires. As a part of his all-inclusive pricing for a customized ceremony, he offered to meet as many times as necessary for our comfort and to ensure that we were satisfied with the presentation of the script, and was even willing to reasonably accommodate his attire to suit our request. During the ceremony, Dennis was a clean, clear and concise orator, helping to create an atmosphere and tone for our wedding that allowed our vows to be showcased.
Dennis was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend his services to friends and family.

Shana Sent on 07/17/2018Dennis Thomas did an amazing job as our officiant, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional officiant to deliver exactly what you want on your wedding day. We were sold on Dennis from the moment we met him at the consultation. He has a very calm demeanor and knows his stuff! He walked us through how he would stay in contact and what to expect, and we booked him right away. Dennis provided us with a google doc with a script already tailored to my liking based on the consultation, and he invited us to change anything and everything so that we had 100% exactly what we wanted in our wedding, which was great for me, because I’m a bit of a control freak. We were able to edit out sections and add others, and Dennis printed it all out and put it in a very nice, official-looking book, which was very pleasing to the eye. He also made sure that his attire matched the wedding party, which was a great detail I hadn’t even thought about!
Dennis came the evening before our wedding and directed us at the rehearsal as well, and was able to give us a run-through of what to expect and how the ceremony would unfold, and he even took our marriage license to the courthouse for us, as we immediately left for our honeymoon the day after our wedding (and it’s a time sensitive thing). Dennis did a superb job on our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a professional that will adapt to your style and work with you to make your ceremony everything you want it to be, look no further than Dennis! -

He had suggestions, he informed us of the us of traditional ceremony routines and helped to personalize ours (which was short and sweet, as we requested) . His presentation was nothing less than professional and this includes his demeanor.
I’m sure that this is not of importance to many but he is extremely handsome. My bridesmaids had a hard time focusing and his natural charm doesn’t help.
I can promise you Dennis will make your special day nothing other than what you imagine. -

Dennis Rocks!!
Dennis was the perfect person to help us articulate our love for each other. During our consultations and ceremony script discussions, Dennis was so easy to connect with and so upbeat during the whole process. He came to the ceremony ready celebrate and even helped find a different spot in the park for the ceremony when things went a little sideways with our original spot!! Seriously, he is worth it! Definitely made us feel comfortable on our big day! -
