Denise is absolutely perfect and we feel so lucky and fortunate to have her photograph our wedding. Leading up to our date, Denise was super responsive and helpful, holding multiple calls with us and ensuring us that she’d capture all of our important moments. She is very organized, creating and sticking to a timeline on our date. She is incredibly kind, treating us, our families and guests with respect, love and kindness. The photos she took came out incredible - we’re still obsessing over them and viewing them everyday. Overall, we cannot say enough great things about Denise and highly recommend her for any wedding or event. -

Denise was so incredible from the moment I first reached out to her to later when she delivered the gallery of our photos. She was so accommodating and so professional. We couldn’t have been happier with how the photos turned out and we absolutely loved working with her! She was so sweet and made us feel super relaxed and comfortable. Her style of photography is what drew us in and she did not disappoint. She is the greatest and i highly recommend her and her talents! -

Cannot say how much we love Denise!
If you are looking for the perfect photographer, Denise is your girl! Not only is she insanely talented, but will capture the most perfect moments of your special day. She has a real eye and her photos are testament to her work.
We've received so many compliments on how beautiful our photos were and we could not be happier with our decision to work with Denise. She'' a true professional and extremely responsive as well as attentive to our needs throughout the planning process. We had a large wedding party (26+) and she was able to manage the group and get every shot.
If you are thinking of hiring her, DO IT. You will not regret it. -

I truly can’t say enough good things about Denise as a photographer and now friend. From our first call and engagement session last October I could tell Denise was an incredibly kind and passionate person, with an amazing eye for art. Little did I know that she would help me in more ways than just taking our wedding photos! We, like many other couples, decided to postpone our big reception to next year and get married in a micro wedding this year. Although a difficult decision, Denise made everything super easy and was extremely considerate and flexible through the whole process. Not to mention, she even mentored me in my own photography through quarantine which has been an incredible new hobby that has kept me sane through the stress of 2020. That brings me to our wedding day a few weeks ago. Denise brought such a good energy and excitement to our day, and you can just tell how much she loves what she does and loves all of her couples. Our wedding sneak peeks are AMAZING and we’ve gotten so many compliments on them already! She has such quick turn around time and knows how anxious everyone is to see photos after their wedding. We can’t wait to see the full gallery and can’t wait to have Denise there for our big day round 2 next year. AMAZING on every level!
I truly have no idea where to begin. Adam and I were meant to marry on March 21, 2020 - less than a week before Philadelphia and many other parts of our country shut down due to COVID-19. The uncertainty, confusion, and chaos that we found ourselves in was overwhelming to say the least. After postponing our big wedding, Adam and I decided to have a very small, intimate backyard ceremony with only a few family members in attendance. Regardless of everything going on around us at the time, Denise was with us every step of the way. She was comforting, empathetic, and willing to be by our side through thick and thin. She captured our ceremony beautifully and we are so incredibly thankful for this as this backyard ceremony eventually became our one and only wedding. Her generosity and willingness through these crazy, uncertain times is unparalleled.
Fast forward to now - after two more postponed wedding dates and eventually a cancelled wedding, I cannot believe the lengths Denise has gone to in order to be flexible with her time and commitment to us as a couple. From making us feel at ease at our engagement session back in November 2019 to helping Adam and I navigate through a once in a lifetime pandemic, Denise is who you will want by your side every single step of the way on your wedding day or for any other event! She is incredibly passionate, genuine, and the sincerest human being I have ever come in contact with. Her light and infectious positivity shows in her work and tells a story of its own. Trust me when I say this, you need to contact Denise right now.

The wedding day goes by so quickly and much of it is gone in an instant. The one item that lasts a lifetime is photography. That’s why when we began to plan our wedding, booking a photographer was one of our top priorities.
After searching all over, I stumbled upon an acquaintance’s wedding photos by Denise and never looked back! She works in both digital and film, providing this beautiful ethereal quality to her work.
From our first phone call meeting, we just clicked. She makes you feel like you’re talking to one of your close friends. And you can feel the pride and passion she for has for her work.
As a couple that doesn’t frequently pose for photos, Denise had quick the job to make these two awkward turtles look relaxed and natural. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement session by walking us through the process. Her boyfriend Josh is works as her second shooter. Their passion for photography, respect for one another and love for one another help subsided any awkwardness we felt.
Unfortunately, like many couples who planned a wedding for April 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. Denise outreached to me right away and offered so much support and compassion during a heartbreaking time. She was so flexible and helped us quickly identify a new celebration date.
While we’ve postponed our wedding celebration to April 2021, we’re hoping to elope on our original wedding date. Denise is working with us to shoot this special moment as well. We can wait until our wedding day to see what magic she is able to capture!
This review does not do Denise justice. While her work speaks for itself, there are not enough words to properly express what a kind and compassionate soul she is.

From the beginning of our planning process my husband and I knew that photography would be the most important part of the day for us. We also knew, after our first phone conversation, that Denise would be the one for the job.
We were lucky enough to meet with Denise and her shooting partner, Josh, before our big day and because of that our wedding day was stress-free and full of so much fun and happiness. Their wit and humor allowed us to relax in front of the cameras and their INSANELY talented eyes made us confident that we were getting the wedding portraits we’d always dreamed of. They connected with our guests and made sure all of our family and friends’ photo requests were fulfilled. Their work ethic and the quality they provide is absolutely unparalleled— we feel so, so honored that they photographed our wedding.
We started our wedding planning process wanting a top-notch photography team and we ended it with that, absolutely breathtaking photos, and two new and truly magical friends. WE LOVE DENISE AND JOSH!!!!Denise Marie Photography's reply:

Denise and Josh were absolutely amazing. They were not only professional but kind, warm and heartfelt. Everything you want and more
YES, book these two!!! These two photographers captured our day perfectly. Both Denise and Josh made what could have been uncomfortably forced pictures into a beautiful fun playground for us to run around on. The pictures are so real and gorgeous I can’t stop staring at them. Not to mention the turn around on the sneak peeks are so quick I can’t wait for the final group of pictures! Denise’s eye for a special moment never seized to amaze me, she’s beyond talented (and the sweetest most beautiful person you’ll meet). Josh is just as talented and I couldn’t stop hearing how well he fit in with the men during their shoot; I’m just dying to see those photos. They captured our love perfectly and the two of them have turned into friends. What more could you ask for! So yes, book them! You won’t regret it!Denise Marie Photography's reply:

I wish I could put our experience with Denise into words that would actually cover all bases and explain accurately how amazing she is! From the beginning of our wedding planning til the end of the reception everything was perfectly planned and executed. Denise was so responsive throughout the whole process and made it so easy. Josh, her second shooter was incredible as well and made my groom and his groomsmen feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We received our sneak peeks and could not be more obsessed- waiting on the rest of our photos now- Denise and Josh truly are magical people who have an innate talent for photography and it shows!! We are so happy we met them!!! -

Denise is the best. She was the photographer for my sister's wedding and I was sold on her from that experience alone. For my wedding- she was just as great! She is responsive and reliable. She knows how to take control of a group (we had 18 in our bridal party and took many large family photos) and how to make an area work for a great shot. She is a master of her craft- her photos and work speak for themselves! My friend is already using her for her May wedding and many of my other bridesmaids are interested in her services in the future. Thank you Denise! Denise is an absolute dream to work with! Being in the wedding industry I get to work with a lot of photographers and Denise is definitely one of the best! Choosing her to capture our special day was definitively one of the best decisions. She was so kind, fun, and easy to work with. She really took into account the photos we were most looking forward to in order to make sure we got them! She also was amazing at directing our families to get the family photos done. She was direct while being kind and friendly which is definitely what you want in a photographer! I had the pleasure of working with her not only for our engagement and wedding, but also for a boudoir shoot. At every single shoot we did, Denise made us feel so confident, which definitely translated in each of our photos. Her artistry and professionalism were a welcome addition to every interaction we had!
Additionally, Denise's attention to detail is truly something special, she captured such unique and special moments in all of our sessions. Photos we didn't even think to ask for are some of our absolute favorites!
When you are building a team for your wedding you want people who are true artists in their field and will make you feel like the most important people in the room (because you are!)!
