Best florist in ny!

I cannot stress how amazing Denise is. When picking a florist, it was very important to me to work with someone who was passionate about their work and not just a cookie cutter wedding mold. Denise went above and beyond my expectations. Our first call I instantly felt connected with her. She was also a recommendation from my photographer! When we started talking about my vision, she completely got what I was trying to say. The day of my trial I couldn't believe these were going to be my flowers! She took what I wanted and brought it to another level I didn't know was possible. Our wedding flowers were beyond my dreams. Her work is romantic, classic, chic, and all of the above. She has such an amazing eye and I trusted whatever she was doing. She was so easy and kind to communicate with via e-mail or the phone... if there was an "issue" or I had a question she went above and beyond to fix it. I am so appreciate for Denise and she truly made my wedding everything I dreamed of. Her work is amazing!!!

The BEST floral designer

To say that I love working with Denise is the biggest understatement. As soon as I was engaged (and even before) I knew that I wanted to hire Denise to create the magical floral design for our wedding. She consistently transforms venues with the most beautiful flowers. I sent her a few inspiration images and she immediately understood the overall look and I trusted her 110% to make it all happen. She outdid herself and everyone was beyond impressed. I am so lucky that I get to work with Denise on other clients weddings to see her talents shine.

Beyond Brilliant!

Denise is SO WONDERFUL. If you are thinking of hiring her for your wedding, think no more!!!!!

From our first conversations she put me at complete ease that we were in good hands. Through every iteration and change throughout the process of planning she took everything in stride and completely "got" our vision.

When I walked into our reception room for the first time I actually burst into tears seeing what she had created. It was everything I imagined and more. Dreamy, romantic florals, straight out of a story book. Denise is a true artist. Give her your inspiration and let her do her thing - you won't regret it.

Spectacular design and flawless flowers

Denise was completely responsive to the unique preferences of my daughter, the bride. She created magnificent textural designs. And she was delightful to work with as we adjusted the size and location of the wedding due to Covid restrictions.

Love Denise's artistic vision!

We worked with Denise for all our flower needs for our wedding in October 2019. She was very responsive and very easy to work with. We gave her a few guidelines and asked that she create her vision for our day based on those guidelines. All flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful, Denise used in season flowers and created arrangements that fit our venue and the season perfectly. It's clear that Denise loves her work and pours her whole heart into it. We loved her artistic vision and would highly recommend her!

I loved everything about working with Denise. The flowers were truly beyond my wildest dreams. I loved the centerpieces, bouquets and the escort table. Our chuppah was dreamy and magical. She was sweet and kind and willing to meet and work with my mother and me. She listened to what I wanted and somehow gave me an even better version of it!

Denise did an amazing job on our May 2017 wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns! She was a pleasure to work with and took the time and effort to really understand my vision for the space! She also was open to our budget and was committed to achieve our vision with what we were comfortable spending.

Denise was incredibly responsive, but most importantly, the end product was just beautiful. Denise was completely open to my ideas, especially when about halfway through the wedding planning process my vision for the flowers and décor completely changed after choosing the bridesmaid dresses.

Flowers are such an important part of any wedding and really set the theme. Denise nailed it and I really could not ask for anything better. I highly recommend her!

Denise is an amazing talented floral designer! She brought my vision to life in a way that was better than I even imagined. Everyone at my wedding was just blown away by the STUNNING flowers and candles. Denise is warm, responsive, and extremely easy to work with. Flowers are a notoriously expensive wedding item but Denise managed to create the lush, organic arrangements we wanted (even with peonies!) without being outrageously priced. She invited me to shop the flower market in NYC with her a couple of weeks before the big day to browse the types of flowers and colors that were in season which was fun and helpful. The bouquets, ceremony decor and table arrangements were all perfection! Highly recommended!!

Denise was our favorite vendor from our wedding. At our initial meeting, she was so friendly and warm, and came up with some beautiful ideas of flower types that would be in season and fit within our fairly broad color scheme. Though we met with a few other vendors, she made the best impression on us by far. And through the hectic months leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive with our questions and when we finally saw the space it was even better than we could have ever imagined. The arrangements were stunning, and and really transformed the space into something quite special. Thanks Denise for your amazing work. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Denise did all the flowers for our Hudson Valley barn/farm wedding on October 1, 2016. Denise is so lovely, gracious, accommodating, patient and professional. Working with her was the easiest part of our whole wedding. When we first met at her awesome studio, I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted, but I showed her pictures of my venue, my bridesmaid dresses, my dress and some color schemes and descriptive words like "autumnal and organic". Denise pulled up these super organized folders of her favorite autumn flowers, greenery and color schemes and completely hit the nail on the head. She was very flexible even up to the week of the wedding in adding certain touches and taking away certain things as details fell into place. Everything she did for us was absolutely STUNNING!! I felt like I was in a fairytale!! I got so many compliments on the flowers - even my other vendors were impressed by how gorgeous the flowers were. We already have friends who are asking for Denise's information because they loved her work so much. Thank you, Denise!

Denise was able to accomodate every single one of my picky needs and was super kind and graceful throughout the whole process of ordering, confirming, and delivering!

Denise was definitely one of our top vendors at our wedding. She went above and beyond all of our expectations! Denise is super accommodating with budget, and nows how to pack the punch you want without being outrageously expensive. She was also a completely doll to work with, and handled my mother in law like a champ.Highly recommend!

Denise could not have captured our wedding vision any better. Her flowers were extremely fresh, and she picked beautiful seasonal ones. She was also able to incorporate some last minute decorative requests we had like using a chalkboard for our wedding menu.

Seriously, look no farther. Working with Denise was a dream and we cannot recommend her enough!

Flowers were definitely one of our top priorities when it came to décor. My husband and I got married on a rooftop terrace and wanted to create an enchanted garden feel for our fall wedding.

We gave Denise an idea of what look we were going for, at which point she invited us to her office to review a mood board that she put together. After many conversations and a visit to the flower market (how fun?!), we finalized the look together and she brought it to life. My husband and I couldn’t believe how incredible the space looked when she was done with it – everything we dreamed up and more.

Another thing that I have to mention – my dress was unique in that it was pretty extravagant with a lot of beading detail, but still very soft. I had a hard time explaining the texture to Denise, which I thought was super important when designing my bouquet. Denise, who is based in Brooklyn, came to the UES Monique Lhuillier salon with me for one of my fittings to see my dress in person. Talk about going above and beyond. She’s the best in the biz!

Denise Fasanello was an amazing florist to work with! She was incredibly quick to respond to our initial inquiries, and after meeting her in person, we knew that she immediately understood what our ideas were. We had wanted a more casual, natural and free-flowing/organic feel to the bouquets, flower crowns and boutonnieres (no roses, no lilies, no “formal” flowers) and she immediately was on the same page. We provided Pinterest and internet pictures as well as our color palette and she was able to list out several types of flowers that were textural, colorful and unique while still maintaining seasonality which helped with our budget. She was even willing to incorporate more greenery and help work within our budget when we told her that another vendor’s initial quote was lower but that we had hoped to work with her. Throughout the process, she kept us updated and instead of charging us for samples (which would have been expensive and out of our budget) proposed for us to shadow her one morning about a week before the wedding to scout out the seasonal flowers available in the flower district. It all felt very collaborative and when I shadowed her, she made note of all the colors, flowers, textures and sizes that I did or did not like, which made me incredibly confident of how the flowers would look even though we didn’t see them until the day of. On the day of the wedding, the flowers looked exactly like what we had envisioned and everything from our altar flowers to the boutonnieres to the bouquets was exactly like what we had hoped for. Not only is her style and taste level amazing, but she was very open to collaborating with us, and always responded in a very timely manner (never more than 24-48 hours later, but more often less than a day to respond). Denise Fasanello is an outstanding florist is who incredibly talented, creative, professional, warm, sweet and friendly. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Denise for our recent wedding in October 2015 in Brooklyn, NY and were beyond thrilled with her floral decorations for our big day. Everything she designed was stunning – from the simple yet elegant table centerpieces, to the colorful bouquets and boutonnieres, to the gorgeous chuppah. Everything looked tasteful, modern, whimsical and classy, just the right combination we wanted and more. Denise has a great sense of style and décor, with an eye for picking out beautiful combinations of flowers. She helped curate a very autumnal palate for our fall wedding, using local and in-season flowers and plants. In addition to the floral arrangements, she used a variety of mercury glass vases and candles to help bring out the rich yet rustic and natural character of our night time venue space. From the beginning of the vendor selection and planning process, Denise was very welcoming and gracious, asking lots of questions to learn about us as a couple and to get a sense of our vision, as well as following up promptly to provide us with an initial proposal. She was very supportive of our ideas and added lots of collaborative options to help introduce other design elements we hadn’t necessarily thought of ourselves. We quickly found we were on the same page with the vibe we were going for and we for the most part after that simply trusted her artistic integrity to present a great finished product. And she delivered an amazing display of colors, textures and looks to all of our floral decorations. Her attention to detail is impeccable as she went the extra distance to tuck small sprigs into our guests folded menus and napkins, as well as include tiny apples among the tablescape centerpieces (a touch that mixed perfectly with our Apple Bourbon Cider signature cocktail theme.)

I am from New Zealand and my fiancée and I decided to get married in NYC. Consequently we had to organise everything over the internet. I somehow stumbled across Denise and her work and I am so thrilled that i did.
I had a vision of wanting something unique and I particularly like terrariums. Denise was immediately on the same page as me and suggested some wonderful belljars as lids and as alternatives to the usual round glass jars. The result was truly magnificent and all of my guests commented on how stunning the arrangements looked. Each jar was created with inspiration from an initial flower and then added to so that they created miniature gardens. I gave Denise pretty much free reign to create and her creativity and visions were outstanding. I cannot thank or recommend Denise enough!

Denise was absolutely amazing to work with - I have nothing but the most positive things to say! She was organized, responsive, and executed our vision for our wedding perfectly. When we made a few small changes to the seating arrangements at the last minute, Denise figured out how to make the floral arrangements work.

Bottom line: Denise is lovely, we received dozens of compliments on the floral arrangements from our guests, and I was totally awestruck when I saw the final setup. You can't go wrong with her!!

I was so happy with Denise and her floral design. She did a beautiful job with all seasonal flowers. She faithfully kept to my budget and she demonstrated such immaculate taste that I just let her run with her vision and everything turned out beautifully. She is also a lovely person to work with- truly one of the only vendors who was totally stress-free for me. I can't recommend her enough!

Denise is amazing to work with. She really listened to what I wanted for my wedding and produced beautiful flower arrangements that fit perfectly with my outdoor garden wedding. I received lots of complements on the flowers, especially the men's boutonnieres. In addition to arranging the flowers for the ceremony and reception, she helped set up the escort card table and arrange other decorations. She really helped bring my vision to life.

Denise did the flowers for my wedding in August 2011. She was fantastic. I had found her mentioned on a wedding board as a talented florist who will work within a bride's budget. I looked at her website and was completely impressed by her work - she's not generic at all and I felt that her style was perfect for our wedding.

Denise met my fiance and me at her studio and helped us come up with a color scheme for our wedding. She worked within our budget and told us how we could save money. All of the flowers were beautiful, but I have a special place in my heart for my bouquet, which was just breathtaking. I got so many compliments on it. And the colors she helped us choose were different and complimented the venue perfectly.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Denise was responsive to my questions and concerns. She even helped me pick out the color of the tablecloths for the tables! She really went above and beyond and was one of my favorite vendors for my wedding. I recommend her without hesitation.

Denise did all our centerpieces and bouquets and was fabulous! She absolutely delivered exactly what I wanted and more! The bouquets were more beautiful than I had envisioned and I received MANY compliments on the flowers. She and her team went above and beyond- they totally got the vibe of our event, worked with our budget, and were very professional.
Highly recommend!!

After-note: We had potted orchids as centerpieces and they are all still thriving in everyone's homes!

Denise's flowers were incredible. She is a real artist, and her designs were above and beyond what I hoped for. I didn't have a specific palette, just gave her a general idea and some pictures, and I suggest doing the same. She has such a great eye and so many ideas that really worked so well with the venue and feel we were going for. She was also very willing to work with our budget and very realistic about what each option would cost. I really appreciated her practical approach in a sea of people eager to up-sell you once they hear "wedding". I had no idea I would care so much about my flowers, but denise's designs were so special and such a delight that I teared up when I saw them. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Denise Fasanello was a pleasure to work with. I love all of her designs and I especially loved what she created for my wedding. She took my suggestions into consideration and used them to create designs that were each a little bit different and that worked in the venue perfectly. She delivered my flowers early to my venue and everyone loved them that most went home with my guests. There is an ethereal and organic quality to her work that is unparalleled. I'm so glad that I found Denise and that she was able to work with my budget. The flowers are still fresh (four days later) and being enjoyed. What a breath of fresh air to find a vendor who makes your life easy! : )

Denise provided the flowers for my wedding on July 29, 2011 in Manhattan. She is so kind and patient and I knew after our first phone call that I had to book her. I had seen on her blog her previous work and decided to give her minimal input/thoughts and let her use her artistic talent. Boy, did she deliver! I literally cried with joy when she brought the bouquets up to my bridal suite. Stunning, romantic, vivid, playful, classic yet modern, and elegant! All of her work including the boutonnieres for the men, cocktail hour flowers, reception and center pieces were out of this world gorgeous! I cannot recommend Denise enough!! Denise, thank you for helping to make my wedding a dream come true!!

Denise is SO talented. I could tell from her portfolio that she was what I wanted - great sense of aesthetic, modern but not "out there", unique, bold but pretty. She created beautiful arrangements for the ceremony and reception. Her attention to floral details (one of my favorite pieces were the boutonnieres for the guys - tiny little things but perfect) was something I really appreciated. I didn't see her the day of the event, but all I know is things were wonderfully packaged and setup perfectly when I reached the room. You plan and prep with Denise and the final result is also Denise, which I really loved - as it made the floral elements really much more personal. Thanks Denise!

My daughter wanted the impossible for her wedding: blooming water lilies in December-Denise made it happen and they were absolutely beautiful! They were stunning in their simplicity-purple blooming lilies set in river stones in low and high glass containers-Denise knows how to take the most basic materials and make them beautiful. I highly recommend her for a memorable wedding.

She stepped up to every challenge: she made herself available for our quick-turn around event (we started planning in July); she brought flowers with her from New York and worked with some local suppliers which was important to us; she put everything together for our outdoor wedding on a very foggy, misty Maine day without complaint or stress. She designed gorgeous autumnal floral arrangements and bouquets by selecting beautiful seasonal and local flowers to perfectly capture the intimacy of our event. She worked hard to meet our impromptu schedule and budget goals, but most important, she created an environment for the oceanside ceremony and the tented brunch afterward that brought elegance and sumptuous color to the party. I dried a large arrangement and my wedding bouquet and they are still beautiful! I have seen other work by Denise and I love it all. I heartily and wholly reccommend her for your wedding!

Denise did the flowers and decor for my August 2008 wedding at Pochron Studios in Brooklyn, New York, and I was absolutely thrilled with her work. I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted, and it turned out all the better because of Denises smart input and ideas. Her warm, gracious, no-nonsense manner was very refreshing compared to the starchy false enthusiasm I encountered in many other wedding vendors. Even my husband, who knows nothing about flowers except to buy me some on Valentines Day, remarked on how beautiful my bouquet and our table arrangements looked. Kudos Denise! She has my highest recommendation.

I was married in August 2004. I have no knowledge of floral designs so I told Denise exactly what colors I wanted and she gave me names and pictures of a variety of flowers that were exactly what I envisioned. It was as if she read my mind. A variety of greens with a hint of peach for a summer wedding. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful! She was professional yet made you feel like a friend.

Denise designed a bouquet for me that was more stylish and gorgeous than I had any idea it was possible for wedding bouqets to be. She was prompt and organized, willing to do whatever I wanted, and happy and able to take the initiative to make some gorgeous design choices that I didn't even know I wanted, all while being conscious of my budget.

Denise is an artist, and that came through in her floral design for my wedding. The colors, the flower choices, the arrangements, it all came together beautifully. She's a lot of fun to work with and had many good suggestions from listening to my vague ideas. Dependable as well. I recommend her highly!

So thrilled we worked with Denise for our Brooklyn wedding! After meeting with 6 or 7 potential floral designers, we settled on Denise because I liked her taste and attitude. I'm so happy we did. She was amazing to work with and the flowers were absolutely stunning. Denise was great to meet with, creative but also open to my ideas and a great listener. Together we came up with a direction and color scheme that I was excited about, even taking a trip together to the flower market to brainstorm and refine. The flowers she created for our wedding were incredible. I can't tell you how many guests were raving about them and asking for her name. Amazing colors, variety and textures. They were so beautiful and I felt like our budget went really far with her in terms of there being flowers EVERYWHERE. They added so much to our venue and the feel of the event. And our photos turned out incredibly because of what she added to the space. The venue even asked for our name and mentioned they had rarely seen such great flowers in their space. Denise is amazing and I would recommend her for any event. Such a talent and a lovely person.

Denise was just starting out her business when we hired her for our 'budget' wedding. I had seen her work online and felt that she understood our aesthetic the most out of everyone we interviewed.

The personal flowers were really pretty and the color scheme was great. The small arrangements for the tables at our reception place were great. But I do feel that since her business got bigger, our budget wedding was less of a priority and a few things fell through the cracks.

First, the delivery guy got lost and we got the flowers 10 mins before the ceremony after I was on the phone with Denise and the delivery guy for 15 mins, time that I would have rather spent taking photos, spending time with my family and doing final touches. I now have 20 pictures of me looking stressed out on the phone getting my makeup done because I was giving the delivery guy blow by blow directions.

Second, the boutenierres for the guys were cheap looking. I'm not going to mince words, but I was surprised.

Last, I asked for a dramatic piece for the reception site when we met and it was in the budget. About a week or two before I emailed Denise about concerns that the piece be colorful because our place cards were going to be black (subway theme). When I got there, I didn't see the dramatic branch piece, which bothered me because it was a couple of hundred dollars...well, it was there, but the staff at Bubby's thought it was too morbid next to our place cards. They placed it on the gift table in the corner. It was really dark...and morbid. I'm glad they moved it.
