Heaven sent! This place is amazing! We had our wedding here! Our first venue which I won’t name, canceled our wedding 3 weeks before our wedding. Patricia was a heaven sent! She and her group were so accommodating and made sure that a heartbroken bride to be had the most amazing wedding. The food was amazing, as a chef and having a lot of industry people at our wedding they were raving about the food! This place is a gem! If you’re looking to have the wedding of your dreams, a place that truly cares about you and your day and not making a buck, this is the place. Greatest day of my life and I thank everyone at Dellwood for being amazing.

I couldn’t have asked for a better venue! The planning process was very easy. We also used their in house catering which was delicious. The venue is also very affordable and they can customize details to fit your budget.

Had our wedding here on 6.3.17, and it could not have been more perfect. Patricia and her staff are incredibly easy to work with, and the venue was in top condition for our day! I couldn't have asked for more!

We did catering on site, and Patricia's daughter-in-law (Serena Rose Flowers) handled our flowers. Staff were happy to answer my questions throughout the planning process, and provided me with some great ideas for various things where I either didn't have an opinion or wasn't sure what would work best logistically. All of our guests had a fantastic evening. I wish I could do it all over again!!

It was the perfect venue that made for a perfect day!!! A hidden gem! Gorgeous scenery and decor. Very affordable. Staff were such a pleasure to work with! Very flexible and accommodating. So happy our friend recommended it.

If you are looking for a place for your special day, look no further. I highly recommend Dellwood Plantation for your wedding day. October 8, 2016, my husbands brother got married at Dellwood Plantation and this vinue surpassed my expectations. It was nothing less than flawless. Even though Hurricane Mathew did not received an invitation, he decided to show up. It literally rained the entire day but the staff did everything in their power to make sure the rain have as minimal of an impact as possible. For example, they pulled their tractor out and helped some of the guest whose cars were stuck get out. The staff was also seen the entire night running around with no umbrellas soaking yet. They did not care if they were getting wet the only thing they cared about what making sure the groom, bride, their family, and friends were happing and enjoying themselves. They even offered us their venue again to take pictures, if our pictures did not turn out good because of the rain, to come back and take pictures free of charge. Again, I highly recommend Dellwood Plantation for your special day.

The venue is beatifully decorated and well maintained, exactly as was promised. Very flexible and willing to create the day you desire for your event.

Dellwood Plantation really provided everything we needed to have a perfect wedding. The venue itself is beautiful. When you book with them, they reserve the entire weekend for you and your guests, so even though they're a B&B, there will not be any strangers or wedding crashers. We priced a lot of places, but the best value by far was Dellwood. Everything's included- chairs, tables, linens, tableware, tent for the reception, even accommodations for me and my husband the wedding night with breakfast the next morning. Patricia really went above and beyond to help us plan every detail for the wedding. Jaime at Dellwood was our florist as well as a day-of coordinator, and her prices are WAY better than anyone else we could find, and all our flowers were gorgeous. We were able to drop off all our decorations earlier in the week with instructions on what we wanted, and they ran with it. We also were able to use the house for our rehearsal dinner the night before, for just the cost of catering. There was a fire pit they offered to keep lit if we were interested, for free, so we made a s'mores bar to go with it for our guests. We were a very DIY couple and they made certain to be careful with everything we made, and to highlight all of our details.

I notice that reviews from two-plus years ago mention not being allowed to taste the food, and I can't say if that was the case then, but they definitely welcome tastings now. The only downside was that the food at the actual wedding did not taste quite as good as that which we had in our tasting, but the difference wasn't a complaint- everyone still ate, and it was fine.

All our guests commented about how beautiful and perfect the venue was for our wedding. The staff go above and beyond, by far. I can't say enough about their kindness and willingness to help, and we had a wonderful time. It was a perfect day and we have Dellwood Plantation to thank for that!!

I was very happy with the way everything turned out at Dellwood Plantation. The staff were kind and accommodating and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. They gave us a beautiful backdrop for a wonderful day.

We found the staff to be exceptional with providing us with all the details we asked for.{and believe me I had a lot of last minutes changes].
The venue is a beautiful Historical plantation that is a true testimony to what hospitatily is suppose to be.
They provided us with flowers,linens,food and our bar. Everything was amazing!!

Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding and reception at Dellwood Plantation in September 2012. It was absolutely beautiful. The accommodations for the bridal party to get ready for the event were great. The staff served light refreshments to everyone while they were getting dressed and brought appetizers after the ceremony for the bridal party to enjoy while they were getting pictures. Pat and Jamie were our hostesses at Bellwood and did a fabulous job. They did a beautiful job on the flowers for the wedding party as well as the reception. Pat and Jamie kept everything organized and on schedule. The food was delicious and the service was great. They responded to our every request or concern with immediate attention. They also helped us to prepare beforehand with their expertise and knowledge about all aspects of preparing for a wedding. They were helpful with suggestions, but never intrusive. Their staff was right there to assist with anything and everything. Everyone at Dellwood Plantion worked hard to ensure the day was truly a wonderful memory. We certainly appreciated all of their efforts to make it a stress free and beautiful day. They took care of everything so we could relax and enjoy the day. My husband and I both agree it was worth every penny to have someone else take care of all the details and preparation

This is the place to have a beautiful,and fun wedding day.Patricia Jamie and Victoria were wonderful!They listened to my every little detail as to how I wanted my day to start and end and it was exactly what I ask for.

The flowers,food and cake were delicious and the service was exceptional.
My guests are still talking about the horse and carriage and what a beautiful place to have a wedding.

The site was beautiful and quite.They only do one wedding a weekend,so we enjoyed the privacy that it gave us and our guests.
We had the whole day free to relax while they did all the work.
The food exceeded our expectations.
They were there before we even knew we needed them.
I would highly recommend Dellwood Plantation,they made my day a dream come true.

Let me start off by saying this is an absolute beautiful wedding venue. I got married here in Sept. 2017 and it was the best day of my life! Patricia and her staff were great to work with. We had them cater since in the beginning she said she was the cheapest you would be able to find.. so we took her word and went with it.. that was a mistake. We had a very casual wedding so we had BBQ, mac and cheese, green beans and some cold slaw.. served as buffet style. Well.. the BBQ was a canned BBQ that you buy at Costco and looked like pig slop basically. Green beans had no flavor but the Mac and cheese was pretty good. She charged $28.95 a plate for that gross canned BBQ. Also, I would advise you not to add fruit and cheese before dinner because for 110 guests it added up to be over $500... other than whole food issue everything was great. I did hear a few complaints afterwards about Patricia being rude to some of my guests which I was upset about. Pretty venue, owner is not so nice, her staff is AMAZING, food is terrible!

Overall we loved this venue and I would recommend to others. The only things I would say Is as far as food, skip the bbq dinner. The bbq was very watery and not good at all. Also, make sure you are VERY specific on the drinks you would like provided as well. Other than that, the service and staff were great. We were able to meet with Pat and staff and email with needed things and she always got back to us. Things were set up beautifully and things went totally according to plan! Thanks for making our special day so special:)

My wedding day turned out beautifully at Dellwood Plantation. The site, gardens, and house are gorgeous. Patricia was very helpful in many ways. I was a little stressed about thinking that things would not be exactly how I wanted them. Things were not EXACTLY the way I wanted them but I didn't let it bother me and the day was great. I emailed her A LOT to let her know what I wanted and to ask specific questions. We did buy two kegs which were $350 and $375 each. This price is a HUGE mark-up and seemed unfair....especially because we had a big group of drinkers and both kegs were gone before dinner. We heard that it was mostly foam and we also heard that one was a pony keg. I'm not sure if either was 100% true but the beer was gone quickly and we could have bought a lot of cans and bottles for $725. I also had Dellwood do my cake and it wasn't exactly like the picture I gave to them. I wanted each square layer to be turned and none were turned. We were able to taste the cake beforehand (which was very good!) but none of the food. The rehearsal dinner food was delicious but I hardly ate the day of the wedding so I really can't tell you about it. I did have Dellwood make the groom's cake and it was awesome. It was a big huge golf ball with chocolate covered strawberries around it. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the equestrian manor the night before the wedding and had a great time! My husband and I spent the night at the pool house on our wedding night. Several others in the wedding party stayed at Dellwood that night and we all had breakfast the next morning. It was all very nice. Besides the beer and cake issue, everything was perfect. I didn't dwell on either issue and everyone kept telling me how it was one of the most beautiful (and HOT!) weddings they have ever been to. Thanks for everything Patricia.
