When I first contacted Yare, she was incredibly attentive and quick to provide all the necessary information. From the moment we went to pick up our tasting samples, we felt such a wonderful vibe with her—it was an instant connection. That moment confirmed for me that she was undoubtedly the person we needed to create our wedding cake.
We loved how she suggested flavor combinations and shared her best-selling options. Since we planned the entire wedding ourselves, my fiancé had the brilliant idea of trusting Yare to design the cake entirely on her own, in harmony with the wedding decor, without sharing any details with us beforehand. I loved the idea! We had been following her work for over a year and knew she wouldn’t disappoint.
When we shared this with her over a video call, the look on her face was priceless—a perfect mix of excitement and challenge. Walking into the reception hall and seeing our cake for the first time was a moment we’ll never forget. We knew it would be beautiful, but it was perfect.
Yare’s talent and love for her craft are truly admirable. Thank you, Yare, for always being available to us, for answering every question, and for helping make our big day exactly as we dreamed. Thank you for saying yes to being our special surprise. Our guests couldn’t believe the cake was real; they thought it was a display piece! That’s just how much talent was in front of us.

I have had the gracious opportunity to not only see Yarelis' development as a pastry chef, but to also be able to support her throughout the years. From starting in a small kitchen baking cupcakes, to having two full-blown caking studios, I have seen Yarelis put countless hours, as well as blood, sweat and tears into her business. Her love for Baking, as well as her customers, characterizes her as someone who not only loves her craft, but also loves her community.
She has not only baked cakes -as well as cupcakes- for different family occasions for me and my loved ones; she has become our first option when we have a special event, and we are looking for baked goods. Her dedication to taste, to presentation, and customer's satisfaction separates her from the market, and positions her in a league of her own.

No esperábamos que el bizcocho de nuestra boda, hecho por Delighted, quedara tan espectacular como quedó. Pensábamos que, por la cantidad de invitados, terminaría siendo algo más pequeño… pero no. ¡El bizcocho se veía majestuoso! Cuando lo vimos montado en el salón, nos quedamos sin palabras. Era verdaderamente hermoso, superando por mucho nuestras expectativas.
Y no solo fue bello, sino también delicioso. La variedad de sabores que ofrecen en Delighted es sorprendente — mucho más amplia de lo que imaginábamos. Pudimos tener un sabor diferente en cada piso, y hasta diferentes rellenos. Ese detalle encantó a todos nuestros invitados.
Les entregamos tres fotos de bizcochos que nos gustaban y, a partir de esas ideas, crearon un diseño único que quedó perfecto. Fue justo lo que queríamos… y más. Delighted Wedding Cake was a pleasure to work with. Fast response to all our questions. Our cake was beautiful but the best thing was the cake. We tried other cake vendors but the taste and moisture of the cake was amazing. Other vendors could not compare! So special!!!
For our wedding we wanted the cake to be unique and represent what we are passionate about: video games and anime. We wanted a design that would incorporate one of my favorite video games, Final Fantasy XIV, as well as one of my now-husband’s favorite animes, Dragon Ball Z. When I was reaching out to bakeries many of them rejected to make the cake as they weren’t familiar with these themes, or felt the idea was just "too out there." One of them even told us, “that design just won’t work for a wedding.” When I reached out to Delighted by Yare, Yare was genuinely interested in our idea, she even added some extra details to our ideas to make sure both themes stood out on the cake. Her initial sketch for the cake was STUNNING because it not only integrated our 2 themes (Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Ball Z), but jt somehow managed to look like a fancy wedding cake that would go well with the rest of the decorations. When wedding day finally came, I was STUNNED to see the actual cake. The level of detail on those crystals and especially that book art on top…They looked EXACTLY like the video game! I loved the use of color on the cake. You can see from all the other pictures on her page she is able to do quite a variety of cake designs. She does work hard to make a beautiful cake from your ideas. I also want to emphasize our wedding was outdoors on very warm, humid weather. Although some of the color on the cake dripped down (as would be expected, I mean the cake was outside for several hours), the artwork held up quite well. As for the actual cake, it just a bit dry but VERY tasty and delicious! Our main cake floor was guava cake with white chocolate ganache filling, I've never had guava cake before but boy was it good!
I do want to make note that throughout the process of working with the cake design Yare was very nice and easy to work with. She was available for any questions, she also responded fairly quickly to messages. She seems to me to be a genuinely good person who is truly passionate for what she does. She seems to really want her cakes to make a positive difference for a moment as special as your wedding. THANK YOU for making our moment so special!Delighted Wedding Cakes's reply:

Llevo muchos años contratando a Delighted by Yare para sus bizcochos y no ha habido ocasión que no quede encantada con el resultado del bizcocho, tanto el arte como el sabor. Una de las cosas importantes en la boda es el bizcocho y ¡WOW! Sobrepasaron mis expectativas. Un bizcocho HERMOSO, en sabor DELICIOSO, super responsables, super atentos, siempre que le escribo contestan y te aclaran todas tus dudas. Siempre a la disposición, NO LOS CAMBIO POR NADA. Yare from Delighted did such an amazing job on our wedding cake. Every detail, every line, every design was utterly perfect and it served as a beautiful decor piece for our sweethearts table. It also TASTED amazing. We had vanilla cake with guava filling and cinnamon cake with cream cheese. Both were INCREDIBLE and everyone raved about the cakes all night. Yarelis and her team were super easy to work with! I did request traditional Puerto Rican sweets for the wedding and they did exactly that. Llevo desde 2019 siguiendo los trabajos de Delight. Mi primera compra fue en mi mente un simpleza de requerimiento para un bizcocho de cumpleaños y recibi una obra de arte. El sabor espectacular y el servicio al cliente inigualable. Luego sin pensarlo le solicite mi bizcocho de bodas y al igual una simpleza hermosa con un sabor fabuloso. Todos encantados con los detalles y lo bellos; definitivamente le dio el toque que faltaba.

Todo fue increíble
Desde el inicio todo fue excelente, comunicación, ayuda, todo fue muy bueno y sin hablar del bizcocho. Quedaron exactamente como los pedimos y el toque de nuestros bebés perrunos quedó aún más hermoso. En cuestión a precio y calidad nos pareció muy bueno también. Better than what we imagined
I had my wedding cake made with them and also my husband’s surprise birthday cake. My husband & I got married the same day as his birthday. I contacted Yare and asked if it was possible for her to make two cakes, one for the wedding and a surprise cake for my husband with much detail, even though she was almost full of orders for this day December 29th she accepted and I could not be more grateful. The flavors, presentation and elegance of the cakes were just out of this world.
