The best!!
From beginning to end, Delicious Designs was very professional. We had an issue with another bakery in the area but once we started working with Delicious designs, all of our worries went out the window. They made everything so easy!! I am vegan so I wanted a vegan wedding cake and regular cupcakes on the side. Everyone RAVED about the cake and had no idea that it was vegan. We did a marble cake with vegan buttercream frosting. I'm drooling just thinking about it! I might even get cookies shipped to me in San Diego because it was that good. They even delivered the cake and cupcakes to use from Reno to South Lake Tahoe. 10/10 I would tell everyone that's getting married in Reno or Lake Tahoe to work with this company. -

Just Amazing!!!
We cannot recommend Delicious Designs enough. Leigh Anne was an absolute joy to work with! It's SO hard to find someone who can make the cake look gorgeous, taste great, and be affordable, but that's what Delicious Designs does! We got married in South Lake Tahoe and were originally looking for bakers in that area so that we wouldn't have to pay a delivery fee. However, everywhere we looked was SO expensive. Then we stumbled upon Delicious Designs and are SO happy we chose to order not only our cake but other desserts through Leigh Anne. We went to the shop in Reno to do a tasting and got to choose 8 different flavors to taste. They were all so delicious that deciding was pretty hard. We ended up choosing to do two flavors for our two-tier cake (there was no price difference), one being my husband's favorite and the other being my favorite. For my design vision, I wanted to have an ombre effect and had been told by other bakers that this would mean I would have to have a fondant cake, which is more expensive. Leigh Anne was able to make the ombre work with buttercream so that we didn't need to do fondant, and it was absolutely beautiful AND tasted delicious. We also ended up ordering cookies, mini cupcakes, and brownies as well. These were so great and our guests raved about the cookies. Leigh Anne was so flexible because while our venue wasn't able to provide dessert platters for these items, she gave me a fixed price to pay (it was very reasonable) and ended up ordering platters for me that went with our design and decor and were enough to fit all the dessert items. We also got a figurine of our dog made that we wanted included on the cake. We mailed this to Leigh Anne and then she set this up on the cake before delivery. It was SO cute!! She had a delivery fee from Reno to South Shore that was very affordable, and delivery and setup went so smoothly. We cannot thank Leigh Anne and her team at Delicious Designs enough for contributing to our special day! -

Meghan was so wonderful to work with when planning our wedding and deciding how we wanted our ceremony to go. She is so warm and kind and made us feel comfortable and at ease. She was very helpful in guiding us to decide what was important to us and was very thoughtful in her questions in order to create the perfect ceremony for us. She made planning our ceremony easy and meaningful for each of us and did such a wonderful job officiating our wedding. Would highly recommend Meghan. -

True to their name!
Leigh Anne was so wonderful to work with! Very friendly, fast response, and reasonable price (and she gives military discount, thank you). She pays close attention to detail and exactly what you’re requesting in a cake. All my guests ranted and raved about our delicious and beautiful our wedding cake was. Thank you Delicious Design!
I’ll definitely be using delicious design in the future for special occasion desserts. -

We choose Delicious Designs for our wedding cake and dessert bar from recommendation from our venue and reading reviews. From the initial phone call we were sold by how sweet Leigh Anne was. When we did our trial tasting we fell in love with all the flavors that she had, we choose lemon blueberry for our cake and till this day we still drool over how delicious it was. We then did cupcakes(strawberry shortcake and chocolate peanut butter flavor), cookies(chocolate chip and snickerdoodle), vanilla cake pops and pecan pie tarts for our dessert bar. Our guest loved ever dessert we had and kept asking where they can go to get some more. I definitely will be a repeat customer in the future for birthdays and any other parties. Truly the best baker in the Reno-Tahoe area! -

I could not have loved our wedding cake more! We chose a pumpkin cake with cream cheese between the layers and a buttercream frosting. We added pecans because yum. I can't stop eating the cake! It's soooooooooo good. The cake was moist and delicious. Not to mention Leigh Anne is a total sweet heart and was so lovely the whole way through the process. We got to sample several flavors and she really went above and beyond. Im a very anxious person so having someone who was so understanding and sweet really meant a lot. -

I feel like it's rare to have cake that looks beautiful AND is delicious, but Delicious Designs has figured it out (affordably too!). For my wedding, we ordered a 2 tier cake (top tier was funfetti and bottom was lemon), cookies and churro cake pops (the owner created those especially for me because churros are my favorite!). The cookies were gone before dinner was even served. The cake pops were phenomenal. And the cake tasted great that night and for breakfast the next day ha.
I also super appreciate how flexible, creative and kind the team was during the decision making, ordering and delivery process. With two postponements and a change of venue due to COVID, the journey to our wedding day had not been easy but Leigh Anne and the ladies at Delicious Designs were angels. Their kindness and flexibility in the last 2 years has meant everything. They always went above and beyond to make each interaction from the cake tasting to a simple phone call, a positive experience. They took the time to discover our personal style and tastes to create a dessert plan that is unique to us. It's been two months and I'm still getting comments from guests! -

Leigh Anne was wonderful to work with for our wedding cake. We went over exactly what we wanted and got to taste a bunch of her delicious flavored cakes and frostings. We even got a second tasting after we had to postpone for a year because of COVID! The cake was delivered and was beautiful and delicious on the day of the wedding. We'd definitely recommend Delicious Designs. -

I loved working with Delicious Designs. They let us do a free cake testing and sold us right away. Leigh Anne was an absolute sweetheart, and I plan to commission another cake from her for our first anniversary (we didn't freeze the top layer, that's gross). We told her how we envisioned our cake, and she created one that exceeded my expectations. It was also delicious, as advertised! (The fresh cake was also better than at the tasting, so keep that in mind.)
I would highly recommend her. She was so easy to work with, and I felt good giving her my business. -

Leigh Ann was a joy to work with from start to finish! The private tasting takes place in her beautiful bakery, and she has so many wonderful flavors, it was hard to pick! We ended up going with three different flavors: two for each tier of the cake and one for the sheet cake. She was always available, very organized and responded quickly when we had any questions, and was very communicative leading up in the last few weeks before the wedding. We are counting down until we can pull our anniversary cake out of the freezer and enjoy her baking again! -

Lauren Sent on 09/17/2018Delicious Designs creates the most delicious treats I've ever tasted! The owner was a delight to work with - one of the most kind and genuine women I've ever known. She went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. We will not order cakes, cupcakes, or cookies from anywhere else after working with Leigh Anne at Delicious Designs! Since our wedding, she has also made birthday cupcakes for our daughter and also cakes for my coworkers birthday parties! She has such an incredible variety of flavors and a passion for baking. She even made our daughter her very own cupcake for our wedding reception!! I recommend her to everyone. She worked with us on payments and helped us figure out the best options to fit in our budget. As far as design, she did all the work! We just gave her a basic idea of what we liked, and she made us a cake beyond what we could've ever dreamed. She's the best, and I'm so grateful she came into our lives!

Morgan Sent on 01/31/2018Leigh Anne is amazing. We knew instantly at our tasting appointment that she was our wedding cake maker. The most exciting part was getting to simply choose which cakes we wanted to taste and test at our appointment.
She had everything laid out perfectly and super cute on the plates for my wife, myself and two of our close friends to try. After sampling flavors and working through how to make everything pop with Leigh Anne we knew exactly what we wanted at the wedding. We also were able to decide on cupcakes and cake as the way to serve those delicious flavors to our guests.
However, as luck would have it, we decided to change some flavors just before the wedding. Leigh Anne, was not worried one bit, changed the one cake tier we were plotting a change on and never showed an ounce of concern about getting things done. She is a true professional and made everything work just how we wanted.
She also delivered the cakes to the reception and saved us the worry of dropping something and ruining the day. She made sure everything looked perfect and not only that, the cake and cupcakes were amazing. The main flavor was lemon and blueberry which is basically the best thing ever in case you needed to test out a flavor.
We highly recommend Leigh Anne for wedding cakes, birthday cakes, random Tuesday desserts, etc. She may not be the cheapest at times, but she makes amazing cakes and you'll know every penny was worth it. -

Malia Sent on 01/01/2018I can't say enough about how much I love Delicious Designs. Leigh did an absolutely wonderful job with my wedding cake and cupcakes. They were all the rage at my wedding. Seriously. People were putting cupcakes in boxes to take home after they had already eaten several. We don't have the top to the wedding cake any more because it was so good we ate it the next day. My husband and I were on a budget and Leigh worked wonders with what we could afford. My mom and I made several other desserts for the dessert table and Leigh incorporated them beautifully with her creations. I would highly, highly recommend her for your wedding. You will be very happy! -

Ashley Sent on 10/05/2017Leigh Anne is amazing! I live in Virginia and was planning our wedding from afar and she made the process so smooth! She was very attentive and made a perfect two tier naked cake for us, and two sheet cakes! We got red velvet and a strawberry flavor, and they were a huge hit! It also looked beautiful and she added a silver coloring to it per my request, and then added some florals from the florist to it. It was perfect! Even before the wedding day she offered that once we or family was in town we could still do a tasting if we wanted. She was so flexible and we so appreciate all that she did for us. Guests were ranting and raving all night long!
