Delicious and stunning!

Wow, wow, wow - words cannot express how happy we were with how our wedding cake turned out! From start to finish, the entire experience working with Ben and the Delicious team was amazing. Months prior to the wedding we went for a cake tasting which was SO much fun - we had one-on-one time with Ben to tastes and discuss flavor combinations, and we gave him some pictures of our vision. He was so communicative throughout the whole process. Come wedding day, we were blown away with how they brought our vision to life! We wanted a two flavor (lemon and strawberry) cake, with white icing and gold foil going up the side.... it was stunning. My jaw hit the floor, and then I stuffed it with delicious cake. We cannot recommend Delicious enough - we were big fans of the bakery before needing to order a cake, but now we are cake customers for life - I'll be finding any excuse I can to order a cake from here. Look no further, couples! You won't find a nicer team, better quality, or better price than here.

Bakery/ Wedding cake

Ben at delicious was so easy to work with. We went in for a cake tasting and we didn’t have to make any final decisions then which was a huge relief. Everything we tasted and tested at the bakery was so delicious! The cake was moist, and sweet, but not overly sweet. We ended up with red velvet, lemon, and regular wedding cake cupcakes, all perfectly decorated and positioned at the venue on our desserts table to our liking.

Delicious and beautiful cake

Ben and the team at Delicious Cakes were super easy to work with and really accomodating to our requests. Also, the flavors were off the chain. Our bottom layer was butter pecan, middle was lemon, and top was buttercream. We had people wanting multiple pieces of cake, haha. And they did a beautiful job with the decor of the cake based on our wedding theme. Timely, professional and kind. Everything you could want from a wedding cake vendor. :-)

The Name Says it All

Our wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious! I had some pictures of what I wanted and Ben and his team made my vision come to life! The cake was exactly what I wanted and everyone raved about how good the cake was even going back to make sure they tried both flavors. We went through many bakeries trying to find something my husband who doesn't like sweets would enjoy and Delicious was the right fit. Even he loved the cake! I would certainly recommend Delicious to any and everyone!

Delicious Wedding Cake

The wedding cake made by Delicious Bakery was just that- delicious! It was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and looked so perfect for the wedding. We’ve purchased other cakes & treats here and everything is always fantastic!

Delicious and very affordable!

We visited multiple bakeries prior to choosing Delicious bakery to do cakes for our son's Eagle Scout ceremony. We were thrilled to find they worked with the venue our daughter chose for her wedding! Their cakes are amazing, and the prices can't be beat. They did a wonderful job creating exactly the simple, elegant, and tasty cake my daughter wanted for her special day!

Wonderful choice! If you want a down to earth staff that produces great cakes and desserts this is it! I really felt that the staff was honest and professional. The quality and price were amazing. I am still very impressed when I look at my pictures from the event. It was beautiful and I received many compliments on the taste!

I ordered our groom’s cake from Delicious and it was absolutely perfect. It was a giant 12” round cake with a huge star wars storm trooper on top in fondant. They executed it perfectly and had it ready for pickup exactly when I needed it- all within 2 or 3 weeks notice. It was the best tasting cake I’ve tasted (chocolate with cookies and creme filling) and my groom LOVED it.

Delicious baked the perfect cake for our wedding. The worked with me to find something in my price range but captured everything I"ve dreamed about for my wedding cake. The cake was so delicious and moist. We have had most of our guests message us and as where we got the cake from so they could pick up their own dessert for their event. The flavors were amazing. The decorations were stunning. It was quiet a centerpiece in our reception hall. I absolutely love our cake and recommend Delicious to all considering working with them.

We were very happy with our choice in using Delicious Bakery! They have a wide range of flavors that let us pick some unusual but wonderful combinations (our layers were lemon, chocolate/raspberry, and white/raspberry). Ben was easy to work with and called to follow up/confirm everything in the weeks before the wedding. They delivered everything as expected and the price was reasonable for the quantity and quality we were looking for.

We could not have asked for a more perfect cake! Ben was patient and flexible and really helped us come up with a design that was both modern and classic. He was also instrumental in helping us select the most crowd-pleasing flavors, and the end result was as beautiful as it was delicious. Our 8/13/16 wedding cake was DELICIOUS! It was also beautiful, affordable, and exactly what I envisioned! Working with Ben was really easy. He's an "email guy" so he always responded to my emails promptly and professionally. Our tasting appointment was so fantastic that we actually decided to cancel the other tasting appointment that we had scheduled with another bakery in town! Ben was very honest and upfront with us throughout the whole process. All our wedding guests loved our cake and kept telling us that it was the best they have ever had. delicious bakery is well-known is this area and has such a great reputation. I will never buy a cake from anyone else.

From consultation to clean up, Delicious bakery was just top notch!!! At our cake tasting appointment, we were given many suggestions that helped us tremendously in picking out our cake flavors. Our cake was a 4 tier wedding cake with 4 flavors (chocolate top, Lemon, strawberry and traditional yellow base layer) The strawberry appeared to be the crowd favorite. We had so many guests compliment and ask who the bakery was. Most all of the cake was eaten and we boxed the rest to take home. The cake was so beautifully decorated that several of our guests thought it was fake!!Delicious totally lives up to their name!!

We went to our cake tasting here and fell in love! Ben was very nice and super helpful. He made us comfortable and reassured us that we were in great hands! They have a variety of cake flavors and the flavors we tried were amazing! I'll definitely be visiting them again for a slice before the wedding. I can't wait to see the final outcome of our cake on our wedding day!

Working with Ben was a seamless and painless experience, not something that can be said for other bakeries that we visited! Our cake arrived perfectly on-time, looked stunning and tasted delicious! They also provided the groom's cake at the rehearsal...equally delicious

Delicious did an outstanding job with the cake for my daughter's wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing! Ben is so easy to work with and helped us decide favors and design for the cake. We have used them for all three of my children's weddings! Love them!

We used Delicious Bakery for both our wedding cake and groom's cake and could not be happier! Since we moved cross country a year before our wedding we were appreciative when Ben let us do our cake tasting over a year before our ceremony, that was a huge help to us. Not only that, but Ben worked with our budget to get us a groom's cake that everyone loved! Their cakes are also so tasty so it was great to have a product that not only looked great but tasted great as well.

This is the best bakery ever! I made my parents get my cake in Greensboro and drive it all the way to Kitty Hawk. Everything was perfect, though! The cake was delicious (no pun intended), all in one piece, and looked just like I wanted! I can't say enough good things.

Our cake was beautiful! Ben was such a great help, we live out of state and got married in Greensboro and he was great about emailing me promptly. I sent him two pictures and the cake turned out better than I imagined! It was also delicious!!! They do live up to the name. Ben was very up front about practical concerns, it was a pleasure doing business with him.

Delicious made my wedding cake for my wedding on October 4, 2014 and all I have to say is OMG!!! I have an extreme sweet tooth so my wedding cake was very important to me. I spent many weekends traveling around to cake places in NC sampling cakes. When I tasted the cake at Delicious, I knew my cake had to come from there. Their cakes are amazing! I looked at a lot of wedding cakes online and didn't see anything that was quite what I was looking for. I set down with Ben and we designed my cake from scratch. He was very nice to work with. The cake turned out beautiful and exactly how I had pictured it. It tasted even better than it looked and I received so many compliments on it! They even did a groom's cake for at the last minute and it was a huge hit. My husband loved his golf themed groom's cake and was very surprised! Delicious was great and I will definitely be going back for more cake!

I had the pleasure of working with Delicious Bakery on my wedding day. They were accommodating, friendly and very responsive. They listened to what I wanted and delivered the cake of my dreams! They did an absolutely amazing job. All of my guests told me how wonderful the cake tasted. It was more than I could have asked for. They also made the grooms cake and it was a stunner. I went to Delicious Bakery 2 weeks before my wedding. I was afraid they'd say it's too late to order, but they welcomed me. I met with Ben, and he was very nice. I went back after 2 days to taste the cakes, and I chose red velvet, coconut, and strawberry.
The cake was beautiful and delicious. People are still talking about it :)

I LOVE DELICIOUS.
WHERE to start? I met with Ben to set up an idea for a cake. He was so nice and accommodating, even when it got so close to the wedding and I was frustrated because I didn't know what I wanted. Finally, I just gave him all the pictures online that I found of cakes I liked, and said "do what you want, this is the style I like, I can't choose."

So he chose for me.

Brides (grooms, whoever else planning a wedding)--TRUST their artistry at Delicious. Just trust in them. Give them a color scheme and let them run with it. It was the BEST DECISION I have ever made.

They do require a delivery fee (Not sure if thats because my wedding was at the Castle in Jamestown or not). Whatever you do, let the bakery deliver it for you. I couldn't imagine carrying that gigantic cake, and it was only four layers. If you're having a larger wedding, PLEASE LET THEM DELIVER. That never would've fit in my car!

I will always recommend Delicious Bakery. Great value for such a phenomenal looking cake. I hope someone got a picture of it (I didn't). We ordered a buttercream cake (no fondant) and it was delicious. No flaws. Nothing. Was just delicious. All of our guests commented on it, they loved it! It wasn't overly sweet--JUST RIGHT!

I have been ordering cakes from delicious bakery for years and when it came time to choose my wedding cake vendor I knew who to choose. I had high expectations with a lace covered dome topped cake wonder. And did they deliver! My cake was phenomenal! And the gluten free cupcakes with lace frosting over the top to match the cake were beautiful and delicious! Cake arrived early and perfect at the reception venue! And the bakery also provided a separate cake top already frozen that matched the top of the cake! That way no one would forget to save the top of the cake to eat on our one year anniversary! Such a great experience! Beyond delicious cake!

We were so happy with our decision to have Delicious Bakery bake our cake as we as our cake pop wedding favors! A friend I work with recommended Delicious, as she always uses them when she needs yummy treats. Ever since she started bringing their cakes to work, I knew that I wanted Delicious to bake our wedding cake. Ben was fantastic and very easy to work with. This is the best bakery. Not only do I eat & have coffee here in the morning, but they made THE BEST wedding cake and cupcakes I've ever had. They were extremely professional, tons of help and just truly delicious to eat. Highly recommend.

I didn't order a formal wedding cake, but chose two cakes and an assortment of cupcakes. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I wanted to add two dozen cake pops last minute and they pulled it off during a holiday weekend (I've made cake pops since, so I know why they were just a bit hesitant to guarantee I would have them). I got several complements about the cakes and many guests took slices home.

I live eight hours away, but anytime I'm in town, I'm sure to stop by. They have a customer for life!

The perfect wedding cake--need I say more? You can do a tasting of a variety of cakes and pick the kind that you like. We chose to have 2 different flavors for our cake and it was amazing. Everyone at the wedding loved it and it was more beautiful than I even imagined!!

Ben is a genius!

His hummingbird cake was delicious!!!

When I initially met with Ben, I brought in a ridiculous photo of a Fondant cake, that would have been gorgeous, but horrible! He talked me off that ledge!

When I settled on a cake that I wanted, Ben helped us stay in budget (ok, we might have splurged a smidge) and still get the cake of my dreams!

With blue and yellow, and bows and waves of ribbon, my cake was the most GORGEOUS cake I had ever seen!

Ben was the best cake guy in town!! He did my bridesmaids luncheon cake, my husbands grooms cake, and our wedding cake each a different flavor and I cannot complain about any of them. Each were beautiful and delicious and I wish I had some more of all of them. Our wedding cake was very simple and done just the way we asked for and I could not have asked for a better design in the world. Ben was so amazing from the tasting to the delivery I am very happy with what we got and would not have had anyone else do our cake!

Our wedding cake was amazing!!! They were wonderful to work with. They took a picture of what I liked and made the most beautiful wedding cake. I was very impressed and most of all…the cake tasted great! I would highly recommend Delicious Bakery for your wedding cake!

Ben at Delicious Cakes was terrific. Our cake was simple, but very tasty. My husband and I planned our NC wedding from NY, so we were not able to do a tasting. Despite this, Ben and his staff were very helpful and responsive during the planning.

Fantastic Job! We tried a few of their cakes and cupcakes prior to even choosing them and have always been pleased. When we did choose Delicious Bakery the professionalism, the service and the flexibility was always there. Ben was our main contact that we worked with and the customer service he provided was most excellent from day 1. He worked with us every step of the way even when we decided two weeks out that we wanted to make a slight change in the choice of Flavors. Oh my goodness, what a fabulous cake this bakery does make. I have purchased wedding cakes for both my son & daughter, as well as personal family celebrations. For a sweet tooth craving, you can't find a better butter cream frosted cupcake anywhere else.

If you want a beautiful, grand cake with out all the hype (and price) like that from some other stores in town, choose Delicious. This is a great local business that recently expanded - obviously because of their great cake! Ben sat down with us several times to help us choose our wedding cake. We must of tried at least 4 of their flavors on several different occasions with out any charge to us. On the wedding day, our three layer cake showed up as perfect as we'd imagine it. It was huge! And our guests ate almost the whole thing, we had very little leftovers besides the top layer for us!! The cake was amazing and we got so many compliments about how great it looked and tasted.

They were incredible! My husband made our cake topper and they designed the cake around it with no problem. They followed up with us several times to see if we had any changes and were very punctual about delivering the cake. The quality of the cake was amazing, the best cake I've ever had! I have several friends asking me where I got it so they can check out Delicious.

I got my rehearsal dinner cake and wedding cake from Delicious - they do gorgeous work that is very affordable, and most importantly, it really is DELICIOUS! They have the best cake I tried in the Triad area! Many of my guests asked about the cake, and one couple plans on getting the same flavors for their anniversary cake in August.

AMAZING cake! Everyone loved the cake and we didn't have that much left over because it was so good. It was not overly sweet but just sweet enough. Many people came up to me and my mother to tell us how good the cake was. It also looked spectacular and was exactly what we had talked about.

I loved working with Delicious. They were very helpful and flexible. They worked with me to come up with ideas for the cake and allowed me to change my mind. The tasting included three types of cake and three types of filling. Everyone at the wedding noted how very delicious the cake was. I will definitely go back to them for any other bakery needs.

Ben (the owner) met with us to help us plan our wedding cake. We had gone to MANY different bakeries in the area, and just so happened to stumble into Delicious Bakery on the way home one afternoon. Many other bakeries that we had been to had your "typical" taste and feel when it came to wedding cakes... however, Delicious Bakery had the BEST cake I have ever had in my entire life. As soon as I tried a piece, we knew that we wanted to use them for our wedding cake.

Ben met with us for a tasting and spent a long time with us in order to go through all the details. He was very responsive and flexible. We made our final decisions for the wedding cake at the very last minute (a little over a week ahead of the wedding) - so we were concerned that we had waited too long. However, when the cake was delivered - it blew everyone's mind. The cake was absolutely incredible in apperance... and the taste was just as good. We got a lot of compliments on the cake choice, both in terms of cake type and look.

Even though Delicious Bakery is over an hour and a half from home - one thing is for certain - we'll be running to them whenever we need any sort of cake in the future. We've already made a few trips to Greensboro JUST to have a piece of their cake... so I'm looking forward to continuing that relationship well into the future. You've GOT to try a piece. I high recommend their white cake with raspberry preserves and toasted almonds... it is to DIE FOR! :)

I ordered a cupcake tower from Delicious for my wedding. Everyone loved all the flavor options and Delicious decorated the cupcakes to match my wedding colors. It looked very cute and everything tasted great! I also ordered a groom's cake which looked and tasted great, too. The only thing I was disappointed in was that when they delivered and set up the cupcakes, they did not set up the grooms cake. They just left it to the side in the box. The caterer ended up having to set up the grooms cake. Otherwise everything was great.

We got cupcakes and cheesecakes for our wedding in September of 2015 and had a wonderful time working with Delicious Bakery. The desserts were wonderful and the vendor was very professional and responsive. We didn't have to worry about anything and everyone commented how wonderfully the cupcakes were decorated! We would highly recommend them!

Ben at Delicious was so great to work with. My parents and I had different views on the cake, and through it all Ben listened to me (the bride) and made sure that my opinions and desires trumped the day. I came in with a photo of another cake, he matched it. I wasn't sure of the colors, he brought out thousands of paint color sets to find the exact match. The cake was also so delicious! Our top layer is a few states away being frozen and I have been longing to eat it since the big day, sooo delicious!

It would be a cliché to say that Delicious lives up to its name, but sometimes, the path most traveled is most traveled for a reason. Though Greensboro is no slouch in the bakery department (as patrons of Maxie B’s or Easy Peasy can attest), Delicious’ combination of crowd-pleasing cake and confidence-inspiring customer service puts it ahead.

For starters, the flavor selection is impressive: about three dozen flavor combinations are available. Schedule a tasting, and you’ll get to sample your top four. After we settled on a lemon raspberry and a chocolate for our cake, Ben, the owner, helped us figure out design and other particulars. He was up front about what could and could not be done, gave a clear estimate, and was all-around fairly easy to work with.

When wedding day arrived, our cake was delivered and carefully set up prior to our event. The finished product looked the way that we intended it to, and the taste matched our expectations. The lemon and raspberry added a bit of tang to offset the sweetness, and the chocolate layer was rich and dense, but not overly so. This cake did not come cheaply (close to $300, including the tasting and delivery), yet the enthusiastic reception from guests as well as our own (ongoing) enjoyment of leftovers suggests that it was money well spent.

Delicious isn’t the cheapest game in town, and Maxie B’s partisans may shake their heads, but for us, this place takes the cake.

I ordered quite a bit from Delicious for my wedding day. The good is that the mini desserts and my cakes were wonderful. Everyone enjoyed them and we got so many compliments on them. They did a great job of decorating them and matching the color swatches we gave them. However, I asked for flowers on one cake and they did not add them. This made me a little annoyed because I paid my florist the money for the flowers, my coordinator provided Delicious with the flowers, yet flowers were not added. The head baker, Ben will come off a little stand offish and definitely strictly business, not much personality in the meeting. He may even be a little slow are responding during the planning process but for some reason I trusted that he would do a good job and he did (besides the flower thing) and that's all that matters.

We had Ben design both the groom's cake and our wedding cake. The groom's cake was a burger with fries. Everyone was floored at how realistic it looked! My husband was so pleasantly surprised! Our wedding cake was also a show stopper but simple. The cakes were so moist and delicious!!! We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I recently had Delicious Cakes bake our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing. Not only did the cake look incredible, but it was hands-down the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had.

We had such a great experience at the cake tasting (they provided us with 3 mini cakes to taste!). We were able to mix and match flavors and fillings to create a combination that fit our styles. The staff were super accommodating and very professional throughout the entire experience.

I would highly recommend Delicious Cakes to anyone in the Greensboro area looking for wedding cakes, they were still slightly expensive, but not nearly so much as their competitor, Maxie B's.

I have given kind of mixed reviews here because of the way the set up took place the day of the wedding. Again just like with the caterinf company we were caught in a pinch and they were very eager to work with us and even gave us 4 minature cakes to sample. We stayed closely in touch and 2 weeks before the wedding we spoke on the phone and I was left with the impression the cake would be delivered at 4pm the day of the wedding. Mind you the wedding did not start until 6pm which was plenty of time however when it started getting 4:30 and 4:45 and I could not get an answer on the phone it did not make mother of the bride feel good. It finally delivered at 5pm and it ws not until the cake was cut and the top layer came off that I learned, A-the box for the top layer was too small and B-there was no other box for any left overs and they delivered the cake completely put together. Neither of these I found to be satisfactory with the cost of wedding cakes. Even though I was not happy with these facts the cake was good and I would recommend them to someone else.
