The best photographer!
If you are looking for a wedding photographer I cannot recommend Delano more. He is so kind and responsive and really listens to what you want to capture! His talent with the camera is incredible and his eye for detail in those special moments is unmatched. He captures all the intimate moments of your day and I feel like I can relive our wedding day over and over again through his photos, and I can’t wait to print as many of them as I can to fit all around our apartment! Truly the best there is! -

Delano recently shot both our engagement and our wedding. 5 stars is simply not enough. He is so warm and composed. He makes you feel very comfortable and allows you to be yourself. The photos and video he captured will be my most treasured possessions for the rest of my life. There aren't enough words in the English language to adequately thank or recommend Delano. If you ever have an occasion to photograph, choosing Delano will be the best choice you ever make. THANK YOU! -

Honestly, look no further and book Delano, he’s hands down the BEST photographer !! You’ll be lucky to have him shoot your wedding or engagement. I have absolutely no regrets while working with him. He was punctual, showed up for 1hr ahead of time to scout, and he made us feel comfortable by working with our awkwardness! I’m so amazed at the results, the photos were breathtaking!! -

During our time in DC we decided to do our engagement pictures because traveling together is something that we find important in our relationship. Delano did such an amazing job capture the monuments while also getting me and my FH personality. I would recommend hi to any in the DC area! -

We LOVE our photos! We worked with Delano, who was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He captured all of the important moments that day, and we love the photos he took. He managed to photograph almost all of our guests at the reception, so it's been really fun to share those photos with friends and family. Would definitely recommend Delano Scott Photography! -

We really enjoyed using Delano Scott for our engagement session! He was prompt and very easy to work with. He is great at giving little nudges here and there, but overall he lets the couple be their natural selves. He shoots both film and digital and we absolutely loved the result. Timeless, elegant pictures for us to enjoy for many years to come. -

Delano is fantastic! He was so great to work with and was able to get me and my photo-phobic fiance to actually have fun during the shoot. That would be enough, but then we got the photos back and wow, so incredibly beautiful. I was hoping we would like at least one, but we like so many that we can't decide which we like the most! Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend! -

I had the absolute honor of having Delano photograph my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results! After reviewing countless portfolios, Delano’s work stood out immediately—his artistry and ability to capture genuine emotion set him apart.
From the very first interaction, everything was seamless. Delano responded promptly to my initial email and patiently addressed all my questions with care. He was incredibly flexible, accommodating our specific needs for coverage and customizing the package to include only what we wanted. His clear communication about the planning process and style discussions made the entire experience stress-free.
On the wedding day, Delano arrived punctually and brought a calming presence to what could have been a chaotic morning. Despite the challenges of our getting-ready location—a cramped two-bedroom apartment filled with 25 people—he worked magic, capturing beautiful, intimate moments in less-than-ideal conditions. I’m especially grateful for the precious photos of my elderly grandparents, who traveled all the way from Korea, and of our beloved dog.
The ceremony and reception photos exceeded all my expectations. Our outdoor garden venue, with its stunning fall foliage, was the perfect backdrop, and Delano’s ability to highlight both the natural beauty and the joyful interactions with our guests was remarkable. Every shot feels vibrant, authentic, and full of life.
I feel so fortunate to have had such a wonderful celebration with my family and friends, and I’m deeply grateful to Delano for preserving those cherished moments. Thanks to his incredible talent and dedication, I have photos that I will treasure forever. -

I appreciated the flexibility of his wedding photo packages as it addressed my personal circumstances. His associate photographer was also very professional and talented! Caitlin Sent on 10/20/2021My overall experience was pleasant with Delano. His work is uni like any other photographer I have seen. They’re amazing.
Delano was very nice, professional, and supplied absolutely beautiful photos for our wedding. My only complaint is it was hard for me and my husband to reach him through text during our planning process which made it a little stressful since we were planning our wedding from another state. I would definitely recommend setting up calls. However, I understand the wedding industry is very overwhelmed this year with all the rescheduled weddings from COVID.
