    Delaney Vineyards Dazzled

We received so many compliments on the venue! Another reviewer was correct - the venue itself is very elegant from the brick walls to the wine casks to the chandelier to the strung twinkle lights to the large, arched wooden doors to the 2nd floor stairs. Plus, the veranda was perfect for our guests to be served beverages while the room was being flipped. In addition, the venue included the round tables and matching white wooden garden chairs and black linens that saved us from having to rent those separately. They allowed us to use their black lanterns which were at the end of every other row for the ceremony and then doubled as table centerpieces for the reception. They also had some rod iron candelabras we used for the ceremony and gold charger plates we used for the reception which helped dress up the tables even more. Our venue coordinator, Pamela G., ensured proper coordination with our vendors (caterer, florist, signage, cake baker, photographers) pre-wedding and day of. We had a photo booth, too, and the brick walls looked great so we didn't have to set up drapes or the like for it. All in all, Delaney Vineyards helped us have a lovely wedding with many lasting memories! Venue photos attached to this review are professional* and amateur shots pre-wedding. *Our engagement photos were professionally taken in April 2019. Our wedding was in October 2019.

    Highly Recommend Delaney Vineyards

Getting married at Delaney Vineyards was simply perfect. The venue itself is so gorgeous and doesn't require much incremental decoration. The covered patio overlooking the vineyards is perfect for cocktail hour during a ceremony / reception room flip. The stairs from the 2nd floor allow a grand entrance for the bride which definitely sets this venue apart. My wedding guests were raving about Delaney's wine. Finally, I cannot compliment Sunny Abercrombie enough. She was so incredible throughout our whole engagement / planning process. She is responsive, organized, flexible, and overall just so warm and delightful. She seems to want nothing more than for the couple to have the wedding of their dreams. Thank you Sunny and Delaney Vineyards!!

Amazing, Amazing, and Did I Say Amazing?

Absolutely loved my experience with Delaney and I enjoyed working with Sunny (and the previous Event Coordinator, Ana). They truly know how to make theirselves available to you whenever you need them. The venue is gorgeous and very romantic! It definitely makes a difference seeing it in action. Thank you to everyone for making our special night spectacular!!

Delaney Vineyards was the venue for my son's wedding ceremony and dinner reception on May 05 2018; and it was WONDERFUL! Thanks to Sunny Abercrombie and the rest of the staff at the Vineyard; they were really courteous and attentive thru our many visits to ensure everything would be perfect. Sunny was very responsive to the many questions and concerns we had - and everything she promised came through! The staff helped us with the rehearsal for the ceremony. And they were wonderful on the day; helping with our suppliers, preparations leading up to the event, and the actual ceremony and wedding reception - we could not have wished for a better and more collaborative partner. The setup for the ceremony, the bride coming down the stairway, the professional flip of the setup between the ceremony and dinner reception, cocktail hour on the patio facing the vineyard, the ambiance for dinner, and the sparkler sendoff on the patio - all WONDERFUL!

We found Delaney Vineyards by accident, when we had to change our original wedding venue. And we had our doubts on the authenticity of a vineyard next to the highway. When we decided on the venue, the vineyard was bare but Sunny assured us it would be green and lovely by the time May 05 came around. It was a lovely setting. Our guests loved it and we got a lot of compliments. Everyone had a lovely evening and I must credit Delaney Vineyards and their staff for helping make it special. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I had our wedding at Delaney vineyards last weekend, and it was the wedding of my dreams. Everything turned out so beautiful! The room is flipped after the ceremony to turn in the reception, and the turn around was so quick! In the mean time the guests were guided to the outdoor patio to enjoy drinks and apptizers. The wedding went so smooth all thanks to Sheridan and the Delaney team. Wouldn't change a thing!

We had our holiday event at Delaney Vineyards. The holiday décor was amazing, the staff was great and you just can not beat the ambiance of this location. Great value for the $ - the wine selection was good, it was just an overall great experience working with them. I would not hesitate to book another event there.

I was very happy with Delaney Vineyards. They were very responsive from the beginning. There was a staffing change but it worked in my favor. They used to charge for little extras like lighting, lighting, cake bases, sparklers, etc, but the new protocols make it easier and all inclusive. You can also bring in your own champagne for a toast and your own sparklers fro your departure. I received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. I coordinate everything, with quick response, with Denise. The day of coordinator helped a lot and the girl, Sarah, who waited with me to walk down the aisle was so nice. I love this venue and would highly recommend it. Its worth the money.

I loved having my wedding at Delaney's. They were friendly, professional and very flexible when my husband and I moved our wedding date. The atmoshphere is romantic. Several guests thought the wedding was romantic because it was candlelit, in a winery, and the building is gorgeous. You choose from their list of caterers who have amazing food and from their wine and chapagne. You can also choose your invitations there as well.

I had a little girl about the age of 12 come up to me and tell me that she was going to get married the same place I did because of how beautiful it was and then asked me if I had there business card on me. It was the cutest thing and I would not mind if when she gets married I would come back to this venue. It's absolutely beautiful and they work with you really well. If you do opt in to have the wedding coordinator, go for Denise, she is the absolute best!

We used this venue for our reception and it was fantastic. The on-site staff the night of our event were incredible and working with their event planner throughout the planning process was smooth, responsiveness was excellent. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the crush pad overlooking the vineyard before going inside to sit for dinner and dance during the reception in the cask room. Gorgeous venue inside and out. Highly recommend.

We fell in love with this venue because it is just beautiful and the perfect setting for a wedding. They were very accommodating throughout the planning process. My only "issue" that is not really an issue because everyone knows wedding are expensive, is that there were a lot of little extras that you can add (and we did, because they were pretty) but they are a bit pricey in my opinion. Overall having our wedding there was a great experience but be prepared to be on a strict timeframe for the rehearsal and wedding day. Also if you don't use one of their recommended caterers there is a surcharge, surcharge for bringing in beer, etc. I feel like we spend a lot of money for a wedding venue, but the pictures are beautiful and our guests really had fun and it will be a memorable experience.

Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous and everyone was so impressed with the facility. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and offered beautiful pictures of my dress and bridal party. Kimbrah was excellent in helping us make decisions in our pre-wedding meeting and quick in responding to and making any changes up to the week of the wedding. The wine was amazing and everything on our day went well! They do have new pricing now that is more of a package but slightly more expensive... however it will be easier to estimate since everything is now included and just based on your number of guests! I was disappointed that the two staff covering my event were fairly rude to my coordinator and close friends who were helping with setup and flow throughout the event. They also delayed and tried to stop my sparkler send off at the end of the night due to wind. While I understand their concern, there was no danger anyway, and to add to it my husband and his groomsmen are all firefighters! Once we convinced them to allow it, the send off went well with no fires :) Overall, so glad that I chose Delaney. The event was everything I hoped, and our photos are beautiful!

Delaney Vineyard is such a beautiful, old Italian style vineyard. I really enjoyed having my ceremony and reception here. It's dark, wood atmosphere calls for an intimate setting. Staff members were helpful for the most part. It would've been more helpful if I had to only deal with one person who knew all the in and outs of renting the location for a wedding. I dealt with 2-3 people through the whole process and got mixed information at times.

You have to buy there wines only and you have to match cases of wine for cases of beer. There is a formula you have to go by to figure out how much wine/beer you can buy. We went to Costco and bought the beer. Also, you have to buy their Champagne if they have it which they charge around $20/bottle. That is very expensive. Luckily for us, they were out so we got to buy our own Brut!!!

    Overall, you will love it!!

Delaney Vineyards provided the fun different atmosphere that we were looking for in our wedding. Their Grand Barrel room was the perfect space we needed to accommodate our party and having the entire floor as a dance floor was just perfect. We definitely experienced some sticker shock but everyone absolutely loved our venue. Their pricing scheme is a little strict with the venue costing a certain amount and then you are required to rent the table and chairs separately and are assessed a fee if you use an outside vendor and can only choose from their approved caterers. They were reasonably responsive to our requests and all in all the wedding turned out beautiful. We liked the idea of a vineyard and decided early on that we liked Delaney best of the vineyards in the area for their space and we enjoyed their wines much better, especially the Sweet Texas Red.

We had our wedding reception at Delaney Vineyards in December 2010. The venue is very pretty and having it at Christmas time meant that it was even prettier with the lights and decorations. I do think they are a bit overpriced for just renting a venue but you can save money by bringing in your own beer (we had priced hotel ballrooms and would have spent more than double what we spent on beer and wine at Delaney). We had issues with them when we wanted to use fake snow for people to throw on us as we got into our car leaving the reception....they told us we couldn't do it because it was too hard to clean up. We paid extra money to do it and they still sent us an invoice for $300. We ended up getting out of the money but only because I had to call and prove we had already spent extra money and had permission to use the snow. So make sure you save all receipts and correspondence just in case.

Delaney Vineyards was the perfect backdrop for our wedding recpetion! The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for...romantic and fun! We were extremely happy with our decision to use Delaney! The staff seemed a little to reluctant to help out. They did really come through in the end, helping us with some minor details such as lighting our votive candles and placing pictures out. Be sure that you make lists of exactly what you need done. Also the vineyard gets to be a little pricey as you have to pay for all additional table and chair rentals. Overall happy with our decision! We recieved soooo many compliments on the location of our reception!

Delaney Vineyards is beautiful and I loved getting to get married there. It is so beautiful you don't have to add too many decorations. The venue speaks for itself. They do weddings all the time so they really know what they're doing and can help answer any questions. The only thing is your guests have to go outside (to a great side patio area) while they switch over the room (same room for the ceremony and the reception) and my March wedding happened to fall on the weekend of the huge ice storm. So that wasn't exactly ideal but they can't control the weather and they switch over the room very quickly!

Delaney has many wonderful things going for it, but a few things that can be tricky to work around and surprise you along the way if you're not prepared. I loved the overall look and feel of this venue. With the beautiful brick, barrels, vaulted ceiling, lighting choices, very little else was needed to add to the overall look I wanted to achieve. Your pictures will be extraordinary here! Parking is super easy, and we used buses to transport our guests, which worked very well in the large parking lot. They allow you to use sparklers at the end of the night and it made for a lovely exit. An added bonus--if you're a "Delaney Bride" you can take engagement/bridal photos in the vineyard at any time between booking and your wedding. I definitely took advantage of this and was very happy!

On to a few of Delaney's little secrets. I reserved this location for my reception only, as I wanted my ceremony to be in a church. If you do both ceremony and reception, be advised that all guests are asked to move to the crush pad (patio), while they change over the inside space. It is beautiful outside, but could be a problem depending on the weather.

Their pricing can be a little confusing. During my planning process these moved from a "pay for what you use" plan to one that was all inclusive. My mom and I priced out the difference and were pleased in some ways, but other minor costs appeared that weren't previously there. We were able to negotiate since we had booked my date during that window of transitioning and ultimately got exactly what we wanted. I would advise any bride to ask questions, look over the details and price out the costs for the venue. You do have to go outside for almost all additional vendors, decide if that is something you want to do or not. There was certainly more planning involved with using Delaney, for the slightly OCD or very hands-on bride, this may be the perfect fit for you!

The vineyard would hesitate to new ideas at first, but then became flexible and did great the day and week of the wedding. Books up fast.

Beautiful place. You will need to bring in vendors. Limited on caterers you can use but all the other vendors can be your own.

Delaney is a beautiful venue that we used for our ceremony and reception. It is a little pricey and they require that you pay more to rent chairs, tables, etc., and extend your time beyond 4 hours, along with using the upstairs room for getting ready. They also don't really give you enough time in the room upstairs to do bridal hair and make up. The wine is decent and reasonably priced with the discount they give to those that are using the venue. They don't give a lot of direction...so it can be confusing at time. We had troubles with one of their recommended caterers (there are only 4) so be sure to interview carefully.

Beautiful Place with awesome wine. However, the people sometimes have no idea what they are doing.

Gorgeous facility and property grounds. HOWEVER. The hostess or event coordinator, Denice, was not professional. I was a guest at a wedding here. I overheard several other guests who were complaining and upset with her attitude and behavior. We observed her yelling at the bartender and wait staff. The face that she did this in front of guests is absolutely appalling to me and not at all what I would want people remembering from my wedding if I were to get married here. The look on the bride and grooms face when she yelled at some of the staff will always stick with me when I think of Delaney Vineyards. With so many other gorgeous and available options in the area, I would definitely recommend considering booking else where in order to avoid this embarrassing ordeal in front of your friends and loved ones on your special day. After all, the day is supposed to be remembered about your happy celebration and not for a coordinator's unprofessional behavior.

We just got married at Delaney this past weekend. I wanted to share some of our experiences.

First off, the venue is beautiful. The main room is great, and the layout worked well. However, if you care for customer service at all, I would not recommend this venue. Denise was a terror to work with, once she discovered we had hired someone else to coordinate for us. When our family met with her to discuss general layout and logistics, she was determined to try and prove the Bride's mother wrong on a detail. Not professional at all. At the end of our rehearsal, it was raining and around 30 outside, and Denise practically pushed (not literally) the Bride's sister out the door while holding an 11 month old baby. This was after she explained to Denise that the car was pulling around. Her explanation was that she had a personal appointment. Denise had a horrible attitude, overall. Furthermore, if you are planning the wedding during cold weather, they are NOT prepared at all. They will lead you to believe so, but they are not. They say they have big vinyl curtains and heaters to make the crush pad comfortable, but the curtains are perforated sunscreens. They basically create a vented wind tunnel, rendering the heaters practically useless. They also failed to heat the upstairs area where the Bride gets ready. Upon requesting heat, they said they will get to it. It should have been on, knowing there was an event. Additionally, we never received our personalized bottle of wine. To sum this up, good luck discussing any issues with anyone, because Denise is basically the top of the food chain, and they don't seem to care about hearing poor performance evaluations. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place, no matter how nice it may seem. At least until they replace Denise.

    Beautiful venue, terrible customer service

I got married at Delaney Vineyards at the beginning of this month. Thank god the venue itself was so beautiful because otherwise, I would have found a new spot to hold my wedding. After booking in January of this year, I had 3 different event coordinators at the venue. The first left due to moving out of the country. The second was fabulous! She held a great bridal expo at the venue and was very communicative. When I went back to do wine tasting 3 weeks before my wedding and asked for the planner, I was rudely told, "She no longer works here. She was over promising things she couldn't stick to." How unprofessional to tell a client! The last event coordinator that told me that and finished out my time at the venue with me was terrible! She was unprofessional, rude, and made many unnecessary comments. Pamela was slow to respond to email, had an excuse for everything that wasn't done on time, and even called me to tell me she was too busy to take my payment for wine! On the day of the wedding, she interrupted conversations I was having with my guests to tell me things about our night/wine that could have waited until the end of the night or been told to my mother or my day of planner. Missy, another employee was super helpful and tried to keep us calm and help us get situated. Pamela then accused my MIL of taking things from the venue that didn't belong to us on the night of the wedding when we cleaned up. We then received an email telling us we had until the weekend to pick up our remaining items left at the venue or they would be thrown away. Overall, I was VERY displeased with the service at this venue. For the price they charge, not much is included. We had to set all of our own decor and basically arrange the entire night. I'm not quite sure what their event planner did that night except collect money and turn the light on? Whoever is in charge of hiring needs to consider getting a new event coordinator. Pamela will run people off. Don't waste your time if she is still in charge here. Very sad that such a beautiful venue has such terrible people in place doing their business.

The wine wasn't the only bitter taste we were left with.

We had our daughter's wedding here and during the rehearsal we were treated very rudely by Paula and then I took a terrible slip/fall on some goo leaking from one of the wine barrels. My lawyer is looking into the latter.

The next day at the wedding, Paula was continuing to be rude towards our wedding day planner as well as to my wife. We were supposed to have a reception on the courtyard while they set up the hall for the dinner and they refused to light the other two heaters even though in was in the 40's at the time. All our guests were huddled in front of the only working heater and all we could get from Paula was that she refused to light the other two heaters. The wine was lousy at best but I gladly spent another $650 dollars when we were starting to run out of what we had originally purchased. Decided to let it lay that night to not upset my daughter and her special night.

Well then three days later they charged our credit card an additional $613 dollars on some bogus made up claim that they had to stay late to stack chairs. They never contacted us about the charge and my wife only saw it on the account when she went to look at something else. She called and was treated like a second rate citizen by the lady she was talking to so she asked for the owner to give her a call back. It's been 12 days and no return call yet.

There are a lot nicer places for the money without having to put up with that kind of treatment so please book anywhere else for that special day so that it stays special for you.

If I could rate just the look and feel of this venue - I would give it 5 stars! This venue is beautiful and an amazing place to get married. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Delaney and I've received so many compliments on how beautiful it was.

However, the wedding ceremony and reception is just one night - there are so many months of planning that go into it and dealing with the Delaney staff was a terrible experience! We booked the venue in June 2010 and didn't get married until March 2011 - those 8 months of trying to work with Delaney were frustrating. Overall, I probably worked with 5 to 6 different people on their staff and all of them had conflicting answers. One would tell you something was perfectly fine and the next day the other one was disagreeing or trying to charge you for it!

In addition this venue is very pricey - they know it and act like it! Not only do you rent the barrel room for the event, but you are expected to rent all of the tables and chairs (which they own). You have to rent the bridal loft upstairs to get ready. They make you buy their wine and refuse to buy it back and if you want an event longer than 4 hours - get ready to pay up! On top of all of this, beware of extra fees they will try and throw your way throughout the process. Stick to the contract you signed and be firm; otherwise, they will hit you with a beer fee, sparkler fee, utility fee if your vendor brings in extra lighting, etc - it's crazy! They were sending me invoices for things that were never discussed up until 2 days before the wedding!

So... if you want a beautiful vineyard style wedding - this is the place! BUT, be prepared for terrible customer service. It's not just me - almost every vendor I worked with had their own negative experience with Delaney one time or another. This place knows they have a stunning venue and won't do much else to work for your business - Delaney Vineyards knows that it's a one time event so they don't need (or seem to want) repeat business or referrals.
