Worked with us to have a small cake for the bride and groom with cupcakes for the rest of the guests. The cupcakes were a hit and a highlight of the evening for many. The earlier tasting process worked well and was easy enough. -

Our wedding was 09/30/23 a Nighy to remember. Clear sky's full moon and a stunning cake for the celebration 🍾
With just a basic idea and som helpful hints from their vast portfolio they created a masterpiece that everyone still raves about. Heck when doing the tasting the way they have it setup really does make for a fun party with the gang to find a crowd pleasing flavor that's also a personal favorite aswell.

Our wedding cake from DeEtta’s Bakery was absolutely delicious! The entire process to coordinate our tasting and select our cake was very smooth. They offer a variety of cake flavors, fillings, and beautiful designs to choose from. We chose a white cake with almond cream filling and an almond cake with cream cheese filling. Both were beyond my expectations. The flavors were perfect together and the cake was incredibly moist and soft. We had many guests mentioning how good the cake was! The final result was absolutely beautiful. I hadn’t heard of DeEtta’s until we began our wedding planning and they are on our radar now! We hope to try more of their pastries and baked goods in the future. I’m already looking forward to our 1 year anniversary cake. Thank you DeEtta’s! -

We had to get DeEttas cake from our venue due to partnership but I am so glad we did, it was the best cake I had ever tasted! The staff are all very friendly and the take home cake tasting made it easy to try the cake again and again. I am looking forward to our 1 year anniversary cake! -

DeEtta’s is amazing and thank you to all the staff we interacted with between consulting, tasting, and delivery. You cannot go wrong with any of the cake and filling flavors and their Italian buttercream is amazing. We were torn between a few flavors but ultimately choose a lemon cake with lemon cream and it was perfection for a daytime summer wedding. The design was beautiful too, delicate flowers on the base tied in the summer and floral feel while still being classic and minimalist! We thank DeEtta’s and their staff for all their work and delicious cake, it truly made our day extra special. -

We opted for a sweets table (which was included in our reception package for Cantigny Golf/Red Oak Room) and could not be happier with the offerings provided by DeEtta's!
Our family cleared the table three times that evening! My husband and I got one treat from our whole table since guests couldn't keep their hands off it. Thank you all for the wonderful sweets and I am sure you will see most of our guests frequenting the bakery soon. -

DeEtta’s works with our venue, Seven Bridges Golf Club, to provide wedding cakes, and I’m so glad they do. It’s a small bakery with so many great items. The cake was divine, but it’s the filling that sold us. -

We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DeEtta’s Bakery for your wedding cake if you are looking for beautiful and delicious cake and to support a prized local business! Everyone looks forward to the cake tasting during wedding planning, and DeEtta’s did not let us down. We left full after trying all the different flavors and combinations – it was difficult to decide because it all tasted so delicious! The staff was experienced, friendly, and easy to work with. They offered their expertise to help us choose a design, flavor combinations to please, and work within our budget. We got so many compliments on how delicious our cake was on the day of and we also ordered cannolis for our rehearsal dinner that guests were drooling over! -

I thought I would be stuck having to choose a traditional fruit filled cake but this bakery offers so much more and our cake was exactly how we wanted it and was delicious! I didn’t know you could do cookies and creams for a wedding cake! The staff was very nice and helped up navigate constructing the perfect cake! -

So pleasant to work with. We wanted a funfetti cake and they were able to provide it. We were not able to attend a tasting an were pleased to find out that they offered a tasting to go. Don't hesitate to use them. The cake was delicious and looked exactly like the picture that we submitted. -

Our experience with DeEtta's was nothing but wonderful. My husband and I wanted Funfetti cake for our wedding, and Morgan from DeEtta's was more than willing to accommodate this unusual wedding request. When we saw our cake on our wedding day, we were astonished by how beautiful it was, and how perfectly it fit into our wedding day vision. With that being said, the cake tasted even better, and guests are still raving about it. From customer service, to aesthetics, to taste, DeEtta's is top notch. -

Katie Sent on 07/13/2018WOW! All I can say is that if you need anything sweet and delicious that your guests will rave about and devour, order from DeEtta's! We ordered our rehearsal dinner and wedding cake and both were outstanding. The groom's cake I requested for them to make was pretty complex (an anatomical shape of the human heart for my husband who is a cardiac doc)...they exceeded FAR beyond my expectations! See attached photos below. People raved about how awesome the cake, not only looked, but tasted incredible. We got the same reviews for our wedding cake the following night. We also ordered cannoli's from them to fill the sweet tooth craving for our Italian relatives...they did not disappoint. These people are cake bosses. Do not question selecting them for your sweet treats! :)

The final product was more than I imagined...it tasted phenomenal and looked amazing!!! So many of our guests were shocked at HOW GOOD this wedding cake was. Guests were asking for the name of the bakery because it was so good. Kevin was such a pleasure to communicate and work with and he did exactly what we asked for. The quality was above and beyond and Kevin made us feel at ease. He worked so well with our venue and we didn't have to do anything except taste the delicious cake and make the decisions. The cake was gorgeous and I never imagined it would have turned out so perfect. Thanks so much Kevin and DeEtta's!!!

Sara Sent on 12/11/2017Our cake was amazing! We loved working with DeEtta's bakery, through our reception venue, Seven Bridges. The tasting was an awesome experience and really helped us narrow down what we wanted. We were going for a simple design, and they nailed it! We also loved that we didn't have to worry about freezing any cake for our 1 year anniversary since they offer you a free cake in the same flavor! We ended up choosing a yellow cake with chocolate filling and a white cake with lemon filling, both with italian buttercream. Yum!

Getting a hold of Kevin for our tasting was super easy. The tasting itself was so good! It was a "deconstructed" tasting which made it 100% easier to pick your favorite combo. During our tasting, we inquired about a sweets table and other things DeEtta's could provide. Kevin mentioned that the bakery sells doughnuts on Friday and Saturday mornings, so we though that it might be a good wedding favor for our guests. Our wedding cake was beautiful and everyone complimented us on the flavors and the doughnuts were a huge hit! I cannot wait for our one year anniversary so we can have the top tier!! The best part is that DeEtta's makes another top tier (included)......no frozen cake for us :) Thank you Kevin and the wonderful staff at DeEtta's for making us the most delicious cake and doughnuts for our wedding!! -

Our guests could not stop raving about how tasty our cake was. DeEtta's only use real ingredients - and you can taste the difference! The price is incredible for the quality you get! Our cake was chocolate, with chocolate mousse, fresh raspberries, and Italian buttercream (real buttercream like you have never tasted!). Can't say enough great things about DeEtta's Bakery! -

We had DeEtta's cake as a packaged deal with using Cantigny as a venue. I was not sure what to think about using them, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The cake tasting was a lot of fun and their cake is very tasty! We selected our style of cake off their pictures on Pinterest and was very happy with our wedding cake. I would recommend them to anyone for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! -

Beautiful & Delicious
We didn’t book our cake directly through DeEtta's Bakery but our Caterer is partnered with them and we couldn’t have picked a better cake baker on our own! It was AMAZING, so much so that we’ve gotten cakes from them for other events like our mini-ceremony (covid caused us to get married twice 😊) and for birthdays. -

As part of a package, the wedding cake was included at my recent wedding. We had to use DeEttas as our vendor and if it was not already included, I certainly would not have used their services as they were not willing to provide any transparency with pricing. The tasting was to go and only on weekends so you “built your perfect bite at home” with portions of each thing you might want included. To me, this wasn’t helpful as my perfect bite is not the bite they are doing to make. I would like to see what it tastes like in the ratios which they will be providing. Additionally, the cake was included, but you had to pay for upgrades. When asked for pricing before making decisions about what exactly I wanted, I was told that wasn’t possible. They wouldn’t even give an estimate whether it would be $10 or $1000 extra as they said it would be based on too many factors. For people who use financial aspect to make decisions like myself, this makes it very difficult to make decisions. As a result, I went with the basics as did not select anything that was an upgrade. I will say - the cake tasted great at the wedding. Overall, I was not impressed with their willingness to help guide decision making and was very unhappy with the process they use. -
