We decided to book our wedding at Deerfield Inn and couldn’t have picked a better venue!! We had a smaller wedding, less than 50 guests, and the venue was perfect. Working with Alicia was great and she made the entire planning process stress free and offered many great suggestions. The staff was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. The chef was able to incorporate some Polish food into the menu which went perfect with our Polka band that we had during cocktail hour. I simply cannot put into words how pleased I was with everything!!

We booked with Champney's at the Deerfield Inn for our rehearsal dinner for a Northampton wedding. Alicia was extremely professional and accommodating, with quick responses to my many emails during the planning of this very special weekend. From the decor, to the ambiance, to the helpful wait staff, to the helpful groundsman Joe, everything was perfect and taken care of so that we could enjoy our evening without worrying about a thing. Guests were very satisfied with the food, which included Figs and Pigs, white truffle croquettes, antipasto display, and fried brussel sprouts for appetizers. The Lemon rosemary chicken, Beef and Shrimp, and Mushroom Orzo were enjoyed by all. I do not have any suggestions for a better experience. Bravo, Champney's/Deerfield Inn!

We had our wedding at the Deerfield Inn and it was the perfect venue. If you are planning to have a smaller wedding (60 or less), it is the perfect size. The venue does not feel too big and it felt private as well. The reception was held adjacent to the reception dance area in a small courtyard. We rented an arbor and tent that the Inn arranged for us. The tent worked out well even though it was a nice day and provided something to hang lights on for the later in the night. We worked with Alicia at the Inn to plan out the menu, vendor setup, timeline for the day and all of the other pertinent details. Alicia and the staff were excellent on the day of the wedding and we could not have been happier. We received many compliments on the quality of the dinner and were very happy with the pace in which the plated service moved along. We had dinner in The Terrace and it was very nice to have the entire floor along with a private bar for our reception. We felt for the size of the venue, location, quality of service, food and planning help we received that the Deerfield Inn was a great value! It's also located in picturesque Historic Deerfield with endless photo-ops. Our photographer had a field day!

Deerfield Inn was a perfect venue for the number of guests in our party [45] and they were very accommodating in finding a way to hold our event when the usual room was booked. Staff worked quickly and graciously to deal with a timing snafu on the day of the event. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the service was very well managed and timed. Their facilities are warm and inviting, especially in the colder months with fires in most every room and comfortable seating. Their event staff were particularly responsive and very involved in making the event a success.

To me, choosing the location of your wedding is the one of the most important decisions of your wedding if not the most important decision. My fiance (now husband!) is originally from Deerfield, MA and getting married in his hometown was really sentimental to him. Since I am not from the area, I didn't have a lot of knowledge about any of the places to have a wedding. We decided to check out the Deerfield Inn as a potential location and we were so happy that we did! We met with Hilda Bailey the wedding coordinator and she was fantastic from the very beginning. She was so pleasant and down to earth, extremely easy to work with. She was so organized and had everything planned out perfectly to the tiniest detail, there was nothing that they forgot about or left out. We had a small intimate wedding and they made us feel like we were the most important, special people on earth! We couldn't have asked for a better staff to work with. The servers/bartenders treated us like their own family, so warm and kind, they were absolutely amazing. Not only was the location beautiful and the staff professional, but the food was fantastic! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, they made it an absolute dream come true!

We were happy to have worked with Hilda. She provided our family with amazing hospitality and warmth. Hilda was very communicative and responsive to our needs. She used her past experiences with engagement parties to help us with our decisions. Hilda was always available for questions. She stayed with our family throughout the event, always gracious and kind. We thought the renovations to the room were beautiful and the accommodations fulfilled all our needs. We were extremely pleased with our experience at the Inn. We also appreciated the attention that our guests received during their stay and following the wedding. Thank you for providing us with a memorable experience.

I can't think of a better venue for a small wedding. The staff was amazing. The food was spectacular. Things were tweaked with no problem for my view of the day. And Hilda is the best! I can't wait to come back to eat at Champney's or stay a few nights in one of the beautiful and spacious rooms!
