I highly recommend Deer Run winery for a wedding venue. The venue is beautiful and the staff is even better. They made our wedding experience perfect! Molly went above and beyond helping organize details before the wedding and helping with everything the day of the wedding. From set up to clean up she was there to help with everything big and small. -

Deer Run was the first and then LAST(!!!) venue I toured, the ceremony space is quite literally perfect as is what I call “the barn” with all the gorgeous bistro lights and the fireplace overlooking the pond. But the venue itself was not the best part of choosing Deer Run. That would be the surprise that came a few months after signing the contract, Molly Harrington, event planner extraordinaire. Molly truly touches the lives of the couples who allow her into their space. Every wedding is a unique conversational attitude, professionalism, and personalized. Molly doesn’t just answer emails and my gazillion text messages about seating chart ideas and the seat at the end of a table (inside joke), she helps you overcome stress, anxiety, and familial problems with ease. Got parents stressing you out about budget or decor or the guest list? Molly Harrington answers the call! Do you wanna talk about timeline month by month? Molly Harrington is there. She helped me make the wedding planning bible of my dreams outlining timelines, guest preferences, playlists, decor, ceremony space usage, everything. The day was perfect, the open bar was the best package you could think of, but I made a friend in the end I would keep for life. I would choose the barn over and over again to recreate the most magical experience I had marrying my husband, but before that I would always choose Molly Harrington wherever she is, wherever she goes. She made Deer Run feel like home, and for that I am grateful. Thank you Molly (Meagher, Eager Beaver) Harrington.
And if you choose an open bar, ask for Beki and Kim, those two become family to your family!

We were so beyond happy with Deer Run Winery as our wedding venue. The event coordinator, Grace, was so responsive throughout the entire process and really went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch and that we felt good throughout every stage; one of the reasons we picked Deer Run as our venue was that we were excited about working with her. She totally knocked the decorating out of the park, and her being so on top of everything the day of made it so we had nothing to stress about on our big day. She also went out of her way to make sure our vision for the day was realized; she literally ran around in the rain to help coordinate everyone and everything and make sure we had drinks/snacks/umbrellas. Grace also coordinated everything with our other vendors; we just had to provide her the information and she took it from there.
The venue itself was gorgeous; we got rained out so weren't able to have our ceremony outside in the vineyard, but inside the pavilion was set up so nicely and at the end of the day it didn't even register that we had to pivot to plan B for the ceremony. They also let us into the the building where they make the wine for bridal party photos and they came out so great! Our whole bridal party was able to get ready at the venue in the morning which was nice that the bride didn't have to travel after getting into her dress.
Due to the rain we weren't able to take pictures out in the vineyard, but for those of you who don't get rained out the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so photogenic, the outdoor ceremony location is absolutely lovely, and they also have other nice touches like a firepit just outside the reception pavilion (we had a smores station planned for out there if we didn't get rained out!)
The reception pavilion had beautiful lights set up and felt very spacious for our hundred guests. The dance floor was a perfect size and our guests loved the fireplace and heaters since we ended up with a cool fall day. The bar itself and the staff working were perfect and were so quick in serving guests; despite having 100 guests I don't recall seeing a line form because they were so efficient.
We couldn't be more happy with Deer Run as our wedding venue and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful indoor/outdoor combination wedding! -

The quality service that Grace has is amazing! She was always super responsive through the whole process and always super helpful. Our wedding day went super smooth, nothing went wrong. We had an amazing experience at Deer Run. They were extremely accommodating and flexible throughout the entire experience. They made planning a breeze and had solutions or recommendations for all of our needs. Grace in particular was very detail oriented, making sure everything we had requested was exactly how we wanted including the decorations and the ceremony details. She also coordinated with all of our vendors, so that all we had to do was focus on having a good time. We had an amazing wedding and our guests enjoyed the beautiful venue. -

I can’t speak highly enough about Deer Run Winery and their event staff! Their team made our wedding vision come to life and made it easy for us to forget the planning on the day-of and completely enjoy the day. It felt like we were guests at our own celebration. The team was responsive, accommodating, and very kind, even when we had very specific ideas or concerns. They were helpful in providing itemized summaries of the cost of everything. The only area for improvement is that our contact person changed twice during planning but in the end, it takes a team to put on a successful event and they so communicated with each other. Nothing slipped through the cracks.
Along with our florist, they took care of setting up all decor for the ceremony and reception and they communicated clearly with all of our vendors. The flexibility of getting to choose our own caterer helped tremendously with our budget and what kind of vibe we wanted. Deer Run Winery’s spaces are GORGEOUS. The pavilion lends itself to having an outdoor wedding without the worry of weather - the rain plan is built in. our wedding day truly was the best day of our lives! Thank you, Deer Run Winery! -

Simply the best
From the very beginning Deer Run was amazing. They were so accommodating, answered all my questions very quickly, and always kept me in the loop. Even if I had a question on “this or that” Austyn would give me her honest professional opinion and I truly admired that. At the rehearsal and the day of the wedding we had the pleasure of working with Sam as well and she was so sweet and kept everything light and airy. Everyone we have talked to said they loved the venue especially in the fall. I would recommend Deer Run over and over! -

When I began planning my wedding, my husband and I knew we wanted a winery/vineyard setting. We had always loved touring the Finger Lakes regions for wine tastings. I began to look at venues around Seneca Lake - but found that while beautiful, a lot of the venues were quite pricey, far from available lodging, or didn't have ideal indoor/outdoor options in case of rain.
When I found Deer Run and saw that they were located only about 30 minutes from central Rochester, had just built an absolutely gorgeous wood and stone pavilion in 2020 (so much nicer than a tent that you see at other outdoor venues!), and seemed to have a pretty reasonable venue fee compared to other vineyard venues, I had a great feeling about it. And the best part about it is that booking comes with Austyn, the venue coordinator, who was so communicative and helpful throughout the entire process and put my mind at ease about how everything would go on the day.
As time went on and it got closer to our date (June 4th 2022) I learned that they had been making even more updates to their venue - they had just built a cute new bridal suite that was available to us by the time our wedding came around, which was a great surprise because I thought originally we'd have to get ready in the hotel! They had also been working on opening up a new cafe as well.
On the day everything went off without a hitch. Their ceremony area is gorgeous and comes with an arbor and benches. And all chairs, tables, a bar and string lights/fans are included in the pavilion. Austyn and her amazing staff being there all throughout the day to run things made everything so stress-free.
It was a beautiful day at an adorable venue and I couldn't recommend it enough! -

We had such a great wedding at Deer Run Winery. Austyn was more than accommodating with all of my requests and questions. Her response time was immediate with direct answers. We were able to get in ahead of time and see the venue to plan for what materials we would need. Austyn helped me with vendor ideas and decoration ideas. The rehearsal dinner was held at the winery and that was fantastic as well. The bartenders, Beki and Daniel, were fantastic and my guests were extremely impressed with their service. The day of the wedding was perfect. Austyn & Samantha had everything under control and I did not have to worry about anything. I highly recommend having a wedding or any other event at Deer Run Winery. They provided an unforgettable wedding experience for all of my guests and us as a couple! -

I got married here on 7/2/22 and it was absolutely everything I could want and then some! To have worked at this winery, and then to also get married here says enough. It’s a gorgeous space and they really have the best team. My husband and I had the most perfect day, and Austyn was awesome to work with! She went above and beyond when it came to our concerns and questions. On our wedding day, however, is when we were especially impressed by her- everything went so smooth! We got so many compliments on the venue and it’s laid back feel. All of our guests had a great time, and we still hear about how much fun they had that night. If I had to do it all over, I’d choose Deer Run as my venue again! If you are considering it, you will not be disappointed.

Wedding of our dreams
Deer Run Winery was the absolute most perfect place for our wedding! Austyn is hands down the best coordinator in the business and the fact that she is by your side through the whole process from booking Deer Run to your wedding day is incredible. Austyn was always so incredibly responsive to my (numerous) questions and when it came to the day of, she made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible! Not to mention the actual site itself is GORGEOUS. They have a brand new ceremony site in the vineyard and it is perfect! Plus, the reception pavilion is also practically brand new and perfect! It did not get too hot or too cold at either site and there was plenty of room for guests to mingle and dance. All of our guests were raving about what a beautiful and unique venue we chose. If I had to do our wedding all over again, I would hands down still choose Deer Run Winery! -

In love with this vineyard venue!
Austyn and Deer Run made our special day so perfect, we would have our wedding here again even if we could do it over again. Leading up to the wedding, Austyn was amazingly responsive, sometimes emailing or texting me back within 10 minutes. She answered all questions, helped us trouble shoot when needed, and made sure we felt prepared. When I dropped off our decor, she went through it all with me to make sure we were on the same page and I felt so confident in her expertise that I had zero stress in giving her full creative license if she thought something should move around. This was all before the day of the wedding but when our day came, Austyn proved over and over again that we were right in having our day at DR. Austyn kept us on time, helped receive arriving vendors, family, and guests, and truly set up the spaces so beautifully. This was despite a downpour that came in during our ceremony. She stayed outside in the rain with us and then helped golf cart as many guests as possible back to the reception space. While I was bummed that this rainstorm kept all the sides of the pavilion from being lifted, it didn't even matter. Our photos have still come out so beautifully and I didn't even notice until we got them back. Deer Run is gorgeous and the continues improvements they are making makes me so happy for them and future brides (which, you're welcome for the covered ceremony space now, we like to think that is because of us lol). We fully plan to have a future anniversary party here but, until then, get married here! -

Make your day perfect with the support of Deer Run!
Working with Deer Run Winery was an absolute dream! The uniqueness and ability to customize the look and feel of the day, was perfect for our vision. Meeting Marie and being welcomed by her charisma brought us in and then when we learned we had a one-on-one event coordinator with Austyn was incredible. Austyn communicated with us often and welcomed us for a planning meeting before the wedding 2x, which ensured everything went off without a hitch on the day of the event. Our guests had a blast and also saw how attentive the Deer Run staff was throughout our entire wedding day. Now we can’t wait to come back for many years to come! -

Amazing Venue, Amazing Coordinator!!!
Getting married at Deer Run Winery was one of the best experiences ever! The venue is gorgeous, and the grounds are perfect for capturing beautiful photos. My whole day went so smoothly thanks to their wonderful wedding coordinator Austyn. She was the glue that held everything together on our special day. She set everything up so perfectly, just the way I asked (and even made some creative decisions that made everything look 10x better!!) She was especially good at all the personal touches I asked for, and made sure I knew that everything I asked for was being handled. The day of the wedding I’m sure things went wrong, but honestly I didn’t see or hear about any of them because I know Austyn took care of it.
The day before the wedding we had our rehearsal dinner, and Austyn walked us through the ceremony and perfected everything so I wouldn’t have to worry about it on our wedding day. And on the day of the wedding she was there with us ALL DAY to make sure everything went smoothly. Many of my guests even commented to me how amazing Austyn was as a coordinator on the day of the wedding. I can’t say enough good things!!! I tell EVERYONE who will listen… BOOK HERE!! You will not regret it! -

I would get married here again in a heart beat!
Wedding planing is supposed to be stressful, so they say. I felt next to no stress with deer run! My most stressful situation I thought was adding a guest after giving the final count. No big deal, was able to add them on, pay and it was over after one email exchange. Austyn was absolutely amazing, she brought to life my vision, made sure everything and everyone was on time. They don’t lie when they say your wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye and there’s things you don’t remember. Every single one of my guest have raves about it. My husband and I along with our parents felt special. Austyn made sure we had drinks for pictures, while bar was closed for dinner, etc. It is a beautiful venue. 1000/10 recommend! -

Amazing!
Deer Run was so amazing for our September wedding this year and so accommondating with everything!!! I honestly can't say enough great things about the staff and the venue as well. Marie and Austyn were my dream team! They were both so helpful and so easy to work with and they truly made the whole wedding planning experience feel like a breeze! I emailed both ladies so many times about little questions here and there that i had and they were so nice! I felt like i kept nagging them, but they were so incredibly nice and easy going i couldn't have asked for better! Thank you guys!!!!
The wedding itself was amazing because Austyn was the best wedding coordinator ever! She was on top of things throughout the whole day! From the ceremony in the beautiful vineyard to the cocktail hour and throughout the reception helping guests with drinks and packing up all my decorations. She really made things super easy! Especially since things have been so stressful with Covid lately too.

The one thing that my husband and I love is visiting wineries, This was the closest to us and we visited often for their Summer Events. When the time came to pick a place, this not only more than satisfied what we need and could afford, but the service that Marie and her team provide is above and beyond what any other place would provide. The amount of compliments that I have received for the venue are innumerable. I wanted something intimate and special, and this winery helped satisfy this beyond words. Great Experience
Deer run coordinators were great during the planning process, very easy to communicate with. Having access to the venue the day before really helped diminish the stress of coordinating getting all the decor and other supplies to the venue the day of. Would recommend getting ready there the day off, the bridal sweet is on the smaller side but a great set up for make-up and hair. -

Our Wedding
We had our wedding at Deer Run in August and had a great experience. During the planning process, the staff was responsive and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding we had a few minor issues and they were very accommodating and helpful. -
