Wonderful DJ's- Used for Wedding and Reception

Deep Blue Entertainment was so easy to work with for my daughter's wedding and reception. They were very professional and worked with my daughter and now son-in-law for what music they wanted and liked. They not only provided the music, but they provided the equipment for the outdoor ceremony as well. The DJ introduced the wedding party in such a fun way and kept all the guests aware of the special dances, cake cuttings, etc. They kept the reception fun and all the guests enjoyed the music! I highly recommend them!

Go DJ this is your DJ!!!!!!!!

Jimmy was out of this world amazing to work with!! His response time to emails and texts messages was truly so appreciated during the craziness that is planning a wedding!! Everyone absolutely raved about the music! There was something played for absolutely everyone from the 20 somethings to the 80 somethings, everyone had an amazing time! He truly makes the playlist very tailored to what you do and do not want played.
We absolutely cannot thank you enough Jimmy for making our special day all that much more special!

Best DJ!!!!

We loved the process from start to finish with DeepBlu! Jimmy was our DJ and we knew we were in great hands. He made the experience very personal by taking the time to get to know us (bride and groom). He prioritized knowing what songs are special to us, what we are like as a couple, how to involve those we love and just making it so easy on our part. Jimmy was very professional and perfectly timed for the ceremony. He was engaging with the guests through the entire reception and hit all the high points with certain songs and speeches we wanted. It was a PARTY that went up until the last second, everyone out on the dance floor. Can't say enough great things! Thank you Jimmy!

The Best DJ You Could Have

We got married two weekends ago and it was the best day of our lives!! DeepBlu was kind, professional, and very responsive form the start! He made sure everything was prepared and it put our mind at ease! He brought the vibes at the reception, played all the songs we wanted and the energy was infectious! He kept our dance floor packed! Couldn't recommend him more!

The Best DJ!

Deep Blue did a fantastic job at making our wedding so much fun!! We really appreciated all the conversations beforehand so we knew they were prepared and ready for our big day. Jonathon did a great job at reading the room and getting the right songs in the queue. We would recommend this crew for anyone looking for the most fun DJ!

Jimmy MADE our dance floor the most fun ever!!

We had the BEST experience with Jimmy as our wedding DJ! Jimmy was so passionate and enthusiastic about his work and make communication a breeze. He was so receptive to our music preferences, wanted to know what we were excited for, and was so excited to deliver. Jimmy brought years of experience and competence that put us at ease. And then the DJing!!! Oh my gosh we had so much fun! It was truly the best playlist of all time with the best transitions. So smooth, so fun, and so so killer. I cannot recommend Jimmy enough!!!!

Best DJ ever!!

We had Jimmy as our DJ for my daughter's wedding and he was the absolute best DJ I've ever heard! His music selection was perfect to keep everyone dancing and he did an awesome job doing the announcements as well. Plus, he was extremely easy to work with. I would definitely recommend DeepBlu to anyone looking to hire a DJ for their event!

Best Party Ever

We absolutely loved working with DeepBlu Entertainment for our wedding ceremony and reception. The portal was easy to use. Dalton was an incredible DJ. Everything was timed perfectly! Our wedding was a Sunday night, and he kept everyone on the dance floor right to the very end. They were organized and professional leading up to the wedding day, and I could not recommend them more. You can't go wrong with booking them.

Best night ever!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about DeepBlu entertainment! We got Jimmy (whoop, whoop!) for our wedding and he was top notch! From initial messaging to pricing to our wedding details he has it covered and in such an easy format. He had our whole crew out on the dance floor all night! Helps that we like to dance! He was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. If your looking for a DJ or music for an event, this is your one stop shop! Hands down, best night ever thanks to Jimmy!

Perfect vendor!

Jimmy & John we’re great! Jimmy was who we were in contact with first, who got all of our information and helped walk us though the process. He stayed in contact with us and did a zoom call with me to ease my anxiety. He put us in contact with our specific DJ, John, and he did an amazing job before and during the ceremony and reception. The way he flowed with everything was smooth and perfect, and on top of that he was an incredibly nice and easy going guy. Everyone was super easy to work with and and I’m over the moon that we picked them as our vendor.

Incredible

DeepBlu was so incredible from day one. They communicated so well and always were there to answer any questions. Jonathan our DJ blew us away with his thoughtfulness and attention to detail, and Jimmy made us feel so at ease and we zero worry or concern. The dance floor was a HIT for our guests of all ages!!!!

Music to my ears

DeepBlu Entertainment is the absolute best at what they do. From start to finish it was so easy to work with them. Their website made it easy to do everything from paying on my balance to uploading my song play list. Justin was a consummate professional. He played everything I asked for. He also made it clear he worked for the bride and groom, so I didn't have to worry about someone requesting anything explicit that would play in front of my older relatives. Jimmy is also super responsive and always got back to me quickly if I had a question. For any brides looking for a stress-free DJing experience, this is the vendor you should choose!

Fantastic! Better than we could have wished for!

From the initial inquiry response to the day of the wedding, the level of service provided by DeepBlu was top-notch. We felt comfortable being open about our opinions and things we weren't certain about. They offered suggestions, walked us through the process, performed several check-ins to see how we were doing and to be sure all our questions were answered. We began our wedding day with zero concerns about our Emcee/DJ. We danced the night away and will always fondly remember and highly recommend the DeepBlu entertainment team. Dancing til you can't dance anymore

Deepblu is so amazing, they are so officiant when it comes to getting the music their clients want for the event. Our DJ was Justin and he literally killed it! Our friends said they had so much fun at our wedding and one of the key factors for this was DJ Justin!

Wonderful Wedding Experience!

My sister had used Deepblu for her wedding a few years ago, and that was such a good experience that we knew we would use them again. In all the stress of wedding planning during the pandemic (our wedding was on Dec 5), deepblu was the easiest vendor we worked with. Our DJ Jonathan was exceptional. He spent a ton of time walking me through the details of the night over the phone, he was super responsive to emails, and even though we had a small guest list of only 50 people, his energy kept the dance floor going until the wedding ended at 11pm. The music truly made the night, and we were so thrilled by how much fun everybody had.

The Best DJ in the Midsouth

Jimmy & Justin are AMAZING. We are so pumped that we chose DeepBlu Entertainment to DJ our special day. Jimmy was in communication from day 1 and made us feel so much better about being a COVID wedding. Once we were told Justin was going to be our DJ, we knew we were in good hands! Not only did Justin ensure that all of our requests were played, he even downloaded a song minutes before our introduction so we could have exactly what we wanted! He had our dance floor constantly full the entire night. We have already referred DeepBlu to our friends and family members that are planning weddings and events. I can't say enough great things about them, their professionalism, and their passion for what they do!

Love, Love, Love Them

First off, their portal for songs is super easy to use. The owner, Jimmy, is very friendly and is quick to return any emails. Our dj, Jonathan, was fantastic. He had a wide range of music knowledge which is perfect for us. An extra plus is Jonathan called about a week before the wedding to go over the details. We were able to work out playing the beginning of the recessional song as the officiant pronounced us husband and wife. It added an extra bit of magic to the day. During the reception, he knew how to keep the flow of the music going so a little bit of everything was played. The music was fantastic. Being a music lover, this was a very important part of the day to me.

One thing that doesn’t suck about 2020

I had no idea what to expect when working with a DJ to be honest. But I can tell you- DeepBlu would have surpassed any and all expectations I could have possibly had. They were SO great at communication, efficient, fast responses and very organized. We had to change our wedding date twice, once for Covid and once (the night before) for a medical emergency and they were so flexible with us. They made our reception so enjoyable. Cannot recommend them enough!

Wedding DJ

We were so thankful we chose DeepBlu entertainment and that Blake was our DJ. The whole company was professional and they made the whole process very easy and stress free. We received so many compliments on the music played at our wedding. Blake was the best!

Cannot Thank Jimmy Enough

DeepBlu was by far the best vendor we had for our wedding when it came to communication. Jimmy was such a pleasure to work with. He would respond to e-mails almost immediately, was more than happy to clarify things for us, and was so flexible with and supportive of our ideas. Come wedding day we were ecstatic to have Jimmy as our DJ – he was the life of the party and everything ran so smoothly. Jimmy surprised us with a video of our ceremony that I never knew I would have since we asked our guests to turn off their phones, but this was the best surprise we could have ever gotten. I cannot speak for the other DJ’s, but I’m sure if they work with Jimmy, they’ve got to be great. We cannot recommend this group enough!

A wonderful addition to our wedding!

Deep Blu was so great to work with from the start. They stayed in communication with us throughout the process and catered to our exact vision for our day. Randel was our DJ and he was AMAZING! So many people complimented our reception music!

Best DJ!!!!

I cant recommend deepblu enough! They were so reliable, Professional and organized! They made everything so seemless and stress free. They went out of their ways to make our lives easier during this stressful planning time! Both the owner Jimmy and our actual day of DJ, Randel were both so helpful! He got people dancing that normally wouldn’t and kept the dance floor fun all night! I highly recommend deeblu for a DJ for your event!

Exactly what I was looking for

Absolutely phenomenal. The best customer service, quickest, most genuinely warm communication, incredible emcee (thank you, Blake!), easy portal for adding songs: I just could not be more pleased. Jimmy was so awesome and easy to work with; you can really feel his heart behind his work. Also, another cool thing: a lot of the songs I wanted played weren't in their portal and they didn't have any issue adding them for me, so it's basically an unlimited supply of any music you could dream of.
If you haven't booked these guys for your wedding yet, do it right now!!

The best in Memphis!

As I met with other vendors (caterers, florists, etc.) throughout the wedding planning process I asked for DJ recommendations and literally every person I asked recommended DeepBlu. They SO easy to work with and I was blown away with their organization. Our DJ was responsible for the outdoor service and the reception and everything was flawless. I was so impressed. It seems like every outdoor service I've been to has had some sort of sound issue but not mine, thanks to DeepBlu! I can't recommend them enough. Such professionals.

Loved Deep Blu!

My guests are still talking about how great the music was! I keep hearing “that was the best wedding playlist I’ve ever heard”! Jonathan was so incredible and he was by far the best DJ I’ve ever experienced!! I told him I loved to dance and he heard me loud and clear; he had me and all our guests dancing until the night was over! He was so much fun, professional, and he truly cared about making our wedding perfect! What I really loved was that he called a couple weeks prior to make sure that he knew everything I wanted/needed him to do! Dream day and reception

DeepBlu is hands down the best! Jimmy goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you want. We had countless messages back and forth to discuss options, changes, and just calm the mini-panics over details. Jimmy never made us feel like we were bothering him or being difficult. We had Randel as our DJ and he was perfect! He was patient with the many song requests from guests and played all our favorites! He did a great job reading the crowd to choose what songs would play next the best. He stayed with us til the bitter end. Thank you so much for everything and making our reception a dream!

DeepBlu is amazing... they worked with us to make sure we were 100% happy from start to finish! They are very responsive and keep you informed every step of the way. Our guests kept commenting on how great the musical selection was and how the music wasn't deafening, so they were able to have conversations as well as dance. I could not have picked a better DJ service for our wedding day. Jimmy Harris is the BEST and most professional guy out there. He was so extremely kind and willing to answer all of my questions - even when he was busy with other things. I don't think I ever waited longer than an hour to get an email response from him, no matter what day or time it was! He provided us with an awesome DJ, Justin Jaggers, who truly listened to my requests and made sure I got exactly what I wanted for my wedding reception! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

My whole experience with Deepblu has been wonderful! I had Jonathan and he was nothing but professional and very kind. I ended up having to make a few changes the day of my wedding and he let me know he could do it and kept me at ease. The music was perfect for all parts of the ceremony and reception. The lights were fun and the dance floor was full once it officially opened up! They assured me they did not want me to worry one moment about them and they delivered! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Fantastic DJ!!

Randall with DeepBlu was the DJ for our daughters wedding and he did a fabulous job! The dance floor was totally full all night and fun was had by all! We highly recommend Randall!

I am not sure where to even begin.... I started working with Jimmy to get all my details squared away. He was SO helpful and had fabulous recommendations. He was quick to respond and had a great sense of humor! Randel was my actual wedding Dj. He was professional and also had amazing suggestions! He did a wonderful job at making me feel like working my wedding was important to him!! DeepBlue Entertainment and Jimmy are just absolutely amazing! He made my wedding reception just rock! He also was able to make my recession song just how I wanted! He was even so respectable to ask me about his attire the day of my wedding (how awesome!). I will always recommend him for future weddings and was so happy to have him apart of my all-star vendor lineup!

Jared was our DJ and did an awesome job! Jimmy was easy to work with and very quick to respond. Jared changed our first dance song last minute when a new song came out. Would highly recommend!

Randel was great! He knew exactly what to play and when to play it - I was on the dance floor all night and so were my guests! It poured right before my wedding (it was outdoors) and he still pulled it off perfectly! I would recommend him and Deep Blu over and over again!

They responded to all of my emails so quickly and answered all of my questions! The music was so great! Our DJ, Jared, played all of our requests and had everyone dancing!

You want Jeff as your wedding DJ! Leading up to the wedding, Jeff was very flexible as we continued to make changes the week of our wedding for some of our special songs. In areas we were not sure what exact music to choose, he was confident and reassuring that he would take care of it and find music to match the overall "vibe" of our wedding based on other music selections. On the wedding day we were so thankful to have Jeff, as the music was perfect from start to finish. Guests were dancing all night which was everything we wanted! We never had to worry about whether we would hear all the songs we wanted and not hearing songs we didn't want played. Jeff is very personable, professional, and did a wonderful job!

We cannot say enough kind words about Jimmy and Colby! That dance floor was packed all night long. They took my play list and played every song and had my guests asking for more at the end of the night. Jimmy is extremely meticulous in his pre-wedding day work. He made sure that he had our do not play lists as well as a must play. He got to know us as a couple so that he could make sure that our reception flowed well and reflected everything we wanted. He rocked it out!

Jimmy and Colby were on FIRE. DeepBlu came to our rescue after our original DJ backed out and we're SO happy that happened otherwise there's no way our reception would have been as epic!
Jimmy stayed in touch with us leading up to the event as we picked our music and vibe and was always so prompt to respond. We seriously can't say enough good things about the attention and service we received. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had at our reception! It was important to us to have specific songs in Spanish and Mexican music and Jimmy and Colby brought to life the perfect blend throughout the evening. The dance floor was full all night as the guys kept the music going and our guests kept dancing. We loved seeing how much fun even Jimmy and Colby were having - the crowd, music, and beautiful evening was infectious. Thank you Jimmy and Colby for making our reception unforgettable!

We absolutely loved having Deep Blu be such a big part of our big day. Jimmy and Randel with DeepBlu were so easy to work with. Their website to choose songs and lay out your ceremony and reception is top notch, user friendly, and organized. Extremely professional and easy to work with, they accommodated everything we needed to make our ceremony and reception the best it could be! Randel was our DJ and he was there plenty early to get things set up and run thru mic checks. He played all the right songs at the right times to keep people on the dance floor! I would recommend DeepBlu to any and everyone.

Jimmy and his team are absolutely amazing! I meet with what felt like every DJ in the Memphis area. Jimmy was my first meeting and I KNEW that he had to be the person to DJ my wedding. I wanted a big party with people dancing all night long, and he ensured just that! Everyone kept telling me what a great job he did and how the music was on point. I only left the dance floor when I had to do something like take a picture or cut the cake. Also, Jimmy is so fast when it comes to responding to emails. He will make you feel so at ease and answer all of your questions! If you want a great dance party at your wedding, hire DeepBlu!

Choosing DeepBlu Entertainment for our wedding reception DJ was by far the best decision I made when planning our wedding! Owner, Jimmy quickly responded to my inquiry and answered any questions I had. He was so easy to work with! Johnathan, our DJ, was amazing!!! He walked me through the reception step by step before hand. He allowed me to make changes until the very last minute possible. I was hesitant to book a DJ in fear it would be a waste of money because we were not having alcohol at our wedding. They both assured me it would not be a problem and it wasn't! Everyone had a blast but most importantly my husband and I had the best night of our lives! I would relive that night a million times over if I could! Johnathan worked as a team with my photographer, videographer, and coordinator so that the day of I could be stress free knowing they had everything under control! It was wonderful and everything went by without a hitch! I didn't know this until after but having a DJ keeps everything in order and on schedule. This is a big deal! Don't hesitate CHOOSE DeepBlue Entertainment!!!

Jimmy was absolutely amazing! We had the absolute best time and the best music for our wedding reception. The process was super simple to add music to our playlist and then he was so flexible with our schedules to meet with us before our big day and go over everything. My Dad is a big Bruno Mars fan and Jimmy made sure that my Dad heard his favorites. I don't think there was one time that there wasn't someone on the dance floor. Could not have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a great DJ that has great customer service, great personality, and will take care of your needs, Deep Blu Entertainment is the way to go!

Jimmy has now done both my kids' weddings and we can't say enough about what an amazing job he did! He is so professional but so obviously loves what he does and it shows! Takes care of every little detail and goes the extra mile! Everyone keeps saying that he was the best dj they have ever seen at a wedding! We have been to a lot of weddings and completely agree! If you want a stress free night with dancing and fun, jimmy with deepblu! Almost (but not quite lol) sad that this was my last one to get married since no more chances to use jimmy :(. Recommending to all my friends so hopefully will be seeing him at many more celebrations!

We chose DeepBlu Entertainment for our October 22,2016 wedding and we are SO thankful we did. From the first email exchange it was evident that Jimmy is devoted to making this the best event possible. As the bride, I had a lot of stress, but none when it came to the entertainment. We have received more compliments on our wedding day DJ than any other vendor (and we had incredible ones)! Look no further! DeepBlu is truly the best! Jimmy is not only a complete professional, but he is an extremely genuine and approachable person. I met with Jimmy once in his office, discussed all the details, we emailed back and forth a handful of times, and that was all! He really took care of us. He put us completely at ease on our wedding day. He not only sticks to the songs that you request, but he is also an expert at feeling out the crowd so that the dance floor is always packed. DeepBlu entertainment is absolutely outstanding. The planning process was so easy and makes any Type A Bride swoon. Jimmy is so invested, responsive, and just an all around wonderful person. He was genuinely excited for my big day, and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure it went smoothly. He was continually checking in to make sure everything was how I wanted it, and communicated so well throughout the entire process. Dalton, our fabulous DJ at the reception, just extended the fabulous hospitality Jimmy already established. Dalton announced everything perfectly, worked so well with my wedding planner, and played the best music! He also made it clear he was taking requests at the reception which I loved! He was so sweet and professional, and I now see why when I was searching for a DJ I really couldn't find any other recommendations other than DeepBlu. If you are in the Memphis area and you need a DJ, there really is no other option! DeepBlue is the BEST!

There is a reason Jimmy/DeepBlu have so many 5 star reviews and it's because he is phenomenal. I met with Jimmy once before the wedding, had one phone call, and filled out my songs online. He ran with all of that flawlessly and played amazing tunes at my wedding reception. I highly recommend using him, he is the best of the best and is super affordable as well. Thank you for making my day great!

DeepBlu Entertainment was a blast to work with in preparation for our wedding. Jimmy is as personable and cordial as they come. He responds to emails and questions right away, and a couple weeks before the wedding he called to discuss the atmosphere of the reception, song selections, etc. DeepBlu added personal touches to the reception, such as giving birthday shoutouts to guests, and hand picking fun songs to play during the events (cake cutting, garter toss, bouquet toss.) Ryan was our DJ for the night of the reception and did a terrific job! Guests were complimenting him throughout the night, saying how fun he was and how everyone was enjoying his songs. He is very talented and was able to keep guests on their feet all night! He also emceed so guests knew what was going on at all times. We had the best night with our friends and family! We owe so much of that to Ryan, Jimmy and the wonderful service we received from DeepBlu!

You do not have to worry about a thing once you book with Deep Blu! D.J. Jimmy was our D.J., but he also served as the emcee for our reception. Jimmy and Deep Blu went above and beyond for my December 2016 wedding. He met with me several times before the big day, and way always prompt to respond to emails. He was on time (early!!) to set up for the wedding and he kept the party going until after we left. I had an early afternoon wedding and I was worried about people not enjoying themselves, but enjoy they did!! They also have an online system for choosing music that made life SO much easier when planning my big day. I could go on and on...
My advice: book Deep Blu. Just do it.

DeepBlu Entertainment is the best in the biz! Jimmy Harris worked with me so well to ensure that our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. He was incredibly flexible, professional, and an overall delight to work with. Our guests never left the dance floor! I highly recommend using him for any and all DJing needs!

Jimmy was very friendly and responded to emails quickly. They made it easy to organize our music through a website. We were able to select songs by searching a database. We could select favorite dance songs & songs for specific events like when I'd walk down the aisle, cake cutting, etc. Everything went smoothly because of the schedule provided for every detail. I used a DJ for my ceremony and reception. He provided a clip-on mic for my officiant and did an excellent job timing the songs for each part of the service. He was able to fade out when people walked down the aisle too quickly. They also provided a mic for toasts. The DJ had a good mix of music for the reception and everyone got out on the dance floor, even my older relatives. Importantly, he wasn't overly cheesy when making announcements.

Deep blue is very reliable and amazing at what they do. I wanted music that would keep people on the dance floor all night and that's exactly what they did! Almost everyone was on the dance floor the whole entire night and the music was great. I also had a special mixup daddy daughter dance they put together which was amazing and everyone loved it! You will not go wrong picking deep blue as your dj.

If you want to have the best party of your life, hire DeepBlu! We loved picking out our songs. Jimmy was super prompt in answering questions, loved the intro video to explain the process, and Jonathan was amazing the night of the party. He knew EXACTLY when to play dance music and he kept the dancing going all night!

Deep Blue is the best of the best ! Jimmy was our DJ and he was amazing ! He was well organized , responded quick , great personality , and made our wedding ceremony and reception music everything I hoped it would be ! If we had ever thought about having someone else be our DJ service for our wedding we would have made a terrible mistake. Not only did these guys come through with every little teeny tiny thing we asked for, they made us feel so special! Jimmy takes great care of their clients to make sure that all of the details are on point and he will NOT let anything oass through the cracks. I can even say that deep blu was probably the best at staying in touch with us and leaving no stone unturned.

Jimmy told us that they have a very special way of matching the perfect DJ with each and every client and they gave us one that was perfect for us! All of our special formalities were always on time and handled with a special style that was quite impressive. Everyone at our wedding got to hear something that they loved and we kept hearing time and time again during our wedding that the great music just kept on coming! Delighted doesn't begin to describe how we feel about choosing deep blu to be a part of our wedding day. Everything was simply perfect and could not get any better!

Thanks to Jimmy and the deep blu guys for helping us have the wedding of the year! We will recommend these guys to anyone getting married out there!

My husband and I loved working with Jimmy at DeepBlu. He was super fun and very organized. Most importantly, the sound quality was amazing for the ceremony. At the reception, he kept the dance floor packed all night long!

Jimmy and his team at DeepBlu are absolutely wonderful! Jimmy answered every question I had in the quickest time possible; not only did he answer every question I had about his service, he helped with suits, officiants, and items way beyond what he does. At our wedding, he kept everyone on their feet, dancing! Guests who had not danced in years, said they could not get off the dance floor. He is THE best and absolutely amazing! I would recommend his team to anyone one hundred times over.
