My husband and I enjoyed having Luma Event Professionals for our wedding. We had a multicultural wedding, integrating both a Mexican and White wedding. This said, the Luma team did an amazing job selecting well-rounded songs for both cultures. Prior to our wedding, they did an extraordinary job keeping us updated and reminding us about next steps. They were always willing to chat whether it was via email, FB messenger, or over the phone. Very responsive and quick to answer! The team was very nice and accommodating!
I 100% recommend them to anyone! Their sound system was great, and they offer a variety of technical accessories/add-ons (up lighting, cold sparks, starry lights, etc.) within their packages to tailor towards your dream event. Check them out! -

Perfection !!
Luma was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We could not ask for a better DJ! We spent hours dancing to the BEST music selection. If we could do it over again, I would choose Luma again and again.

My husband and I got married on October 4th, 2024 in Roswell, Georgia. Marilyn Lee ( Dj Tica ) from Luma Event Professionals came in less than a month before the wedding after another DJ we hired flaked. When we spoke to her, she calmly assured us she could handle everything. She took the time to talk us through all our choices and made sure that we organized all of our details and songs. The day of the wedding, she was so on point! She kept everything organized, the music was perfect during the ceremony, and then the reception was so much fun! Everyone danced all night long and they even made time to give us a special private dance at the end of the wedding. She took care of us like we were family. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding so amazing!

At 44, I’ve been to my share of weddings, events, and great parties where I’ve heard all sorts of DJs… I was just floored by how awesome DJ Tica and DJ Chino performed at my own wedding this past weekend. Before the event, they were incredibly efficient, patient, creative, and thoughtful. On the wedding day, they showed up early and we watched them set up with such care and agility—it was as though we were watching a dance. During the event, itself, they were perfect: They played the songs we requested, they read the crowd and tailored the music to keep people going, they were fun and engaging, they knew how to play to a multiethnic/multiracial/multilingual crowd, and we received SO many compliments from guests about how awesome they were. Perfect execution
I used Luma Event Professionals for Day-Of Coordination service. Marilyn was Incredibly professional, detail oriented, timely, everything I’d expect a day of coordinator to be. She was on top of things before I even had to ask. I’m a very detail oriented perfectionist kind of person, and Marilyn went above and beyond my expectations. I was originally not planning to hire any coordinator, but after seeing how much Marilyn handled for me on that day I’m sooooo glad I did. It took so much pressure off of me and I could just relax. Even when my 2 step sons decided to jump in the pool (balloon decorations and all) an hour before the ceremony, she was on top of it, lol. A true professional, and to top it off we used her husband DJ Chino as our DJ. They are a power couple, working seamlessly together to keep the timeline moving and the guests partying. 10/10 would recommend her services!Luma Event Professionals's reply:

Amazing experience
Luma Events are amazing to work with, we highly recommend them for your MC/DJ experience. Very professional, fun, upbeat and knowledgeable. Quick to respond to every request and stayed in communication through out the whole plaining process. Extremely accommodating even when I added a last minute detail the night before the wedding. Made me feel at ease the day of and everything went as planned, they made it a stress free day and a fun night.Luma Event Professionals's reply:

Such a Dynamic & professional DJ team to have had the pleasure of choosing for my son & daughter-in-law’s wedding. From the moment that we spoke over the phone, I felt such a confident & positive vibe about them.
They understood how important it was to cater to our multicultural blended families & we were blown away the entire night with everyone on the dance floor including the kids.

Both DJs at Luma Event Professionals were great to have at my wedding! Marilyn oversaw most of the communication between vendor and client. After the first conversation that we had, I knew I'd be booking Luma Event. She made me feel confident that they'd be able to provide the service I required. Having a multicultural wedding of Mexican, Pakistani and American background made it crucial to have a DJ that is bilingual. They were able to translate all that was important to me. In addition, they took the song lists I provided, from all cultural backgrounds, and provided a great mix for everyone. Our families were both pleased with Luma Event Professionals. Beyond our expectations
we hired LUMA Even professionals, and they 100% lived up to the name!
super accommodating, kind, fun, and PROFESSIONAL on every level.
I couldn't be more happy with the way they handled our event, and we have worked with many entertainment companies.
From the focused Playlist selections we requested being perfect, to the awesome photo booth all of our guests got to take crazy pictures on (Add this to your event, its a game changer!) This event went flawlessly.
Thank you LUMA, for not only putting on an incredible evening, but for instilling a massive amount of faith that choosing you for our event, and all future events will be a decision we won't regret.

Kathryn Sent on 03/27/2011I enjoyed working with Decepticons very much. I think the music they choose for the occasion went well with the audience. I would definitely suggest using Gigmasters as well as the Decepticons. Some of the events ended up out of sequence , but I think they were really great and were able to change and adjust the timing of things when necessary. The only complaint would be the way they transitioned the music, it could have been a liitle more smoother.
