Very unprofessional, rude non responsive behavior. Didn't honor price quote which was also listed on multiple websites!
My husband, daughter & I toured Decades Event Center on Monday 20, 2024 with Austin. Our wedding date is on a Monday so during our tour Austin said their weekday fee is $750 for 12 hours. He asked how many people would be at our wedding & we said no more than 50-60. He said they normally charge a $450 security fee, but since it was going to be so small & on a Monday, plus we had told him we didn't want use of the alcohol bar. He said he would wave that & not have an officer on duty. So our charge would be simply $750. As soon as we got home from this tour, I had received an email from a Kale Smith saying it was nice to meet us at the tour, even tho we only met an Austin. But I instantly responded to his email saying we wanted to go ahead & reserve the date for the wedding. Nobody ever responded, so the next day I called. Kale answered & was nice & ready to send me an email with the information, price etc for me to sign & pay for. Once i told him the price of $750, he got rude & said it was $1000.00, not $750. I explained to him what Austin said & how it even states that amount on their website & on the Wedding Knot. He said he needs to change that, cause he is the Vice President of the company & knows his prices & it's $1k. Soon after we hang up, i sent him another email. He replied he will do 8 hrs for the $750. I responded asking him could he please meet me in the middle & do 10 hours so we don't feel rushed doing our own decorating & doing the practice run. No response from him. My daughter & I both called 7 times throughout the day, no answer, no response. I emailed again asking for an answer. Still no response. Today is Thursday 23rd, still no response. I called again & left a message. His voice-mail says, "For immediate response, send a text." So i did. Still no response! EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR! We will take our business elsewhere & be sure to spread our personal experience with this 'company' around to others. Attached is email & price proof.
