April at Dean's Duets was great to work with! She was able to find sheet music for a special song we requested and had suggestions for others to include in our list. The musicians had to drive up a mountain to play for us and were very professional and prepared. It was a beautiful addition to our daughter's wedding.

Modern Elegance
I can’t say enough great things about Deans’ Duet. Our entire family is very musical, and my daughter plays an instrument, piano, guitar, and has been a soloist and member of many choral and acappella groups. So we knew choosing the music would be an integral part of the wedding planning. I was worried about how we would get the right music outside on top of a mountain in the fall, but Deans’ Duet was the perfect choice for helping make my daughter’s dream wedding come true. Even though we went with the classic string quartet, having so many instrument group options was so nice when deciding. I never thought string versions of rock songs could sound so amazing but their expansive repertoire allowed us to incorporate all the music styles important to my daughter and our family. From the tv/movie theme prelude to the hard rock entrance and exit to the classical/hymn cocktail hour, these talented musicians helped make this day just as we all envisioned, as well as elegant and special for everyone there. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful in all communication and I really enjoyed working with them!

Organized a surprise for my husband 2 days before the wedding
April & Deans' Duets were absolutely incredible. Two days before our wedding, I reached out to see if we could play a surprise song for my husband as he walked up the aisle. My husband was absolutely THRILLED! April sent frequent emails to see if we needed help with anything throughout the planning process. The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely stunning. My friends loved that we did classical music during the ceremony and popular music for cocktail hour. Amazing Solo Violinist!
April was amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process and this was indeed the easiest part of my wedding planning because her & her team make it so easy! You can feel April's passion for music and for insuring every detail is perfect and that your expectations are all met or exceeded. We chose a solo violinst for our ceremony at Pretty Place Chapel. We had a pianist and violinist perform for the ceremony, and they were absolutely amazing. Truly, they exceeded my expectations. They are so talented, and it felt like a dream hearing them play. I couldn't stop crying when I first heard them start playing!
Dean's Duet's as a whole were so easy to work with. They helped plan every detail of the ceremony with us. Wonderful string quartet!
We had a wonderful experience with Deans' Duets for our wedding! They were super professional throughout the entire planning process: always quick to respond to our emails, proactive in sending out music planning forms, and excited to learn a new song we asked for. We had a string quartet for 90 mins for cocktail hour + first dance, and it really created the loveliest tone and atmosphere to start our wedding reception. I had requested Bridgerton vibes, and they definitely delivered! Multiple guests were telling us how much they enjoyed listening to try and identify all the different songs as they played. I’m so glad I got videography, because I feel like I wanted to just sit down and listen to it all like a concert! We got a custom song for our first dance, which we were quite hesitant about doing at all, but I am so glad we did. Highly recommend working with Deans' Duets!!

Dean’s Duets were absolutely fantastic. They made the adjustment to come to a different city when our wedding got cancelled by disaster in Western NC. I got a violin and cello duet and they played everything that I wanted and it sounded so magical. They had a huge array of songs to choose from and they all worked so wonderfully. They were even able to customize the song I wanted to walk down the aisle too. Speaking with April via e-mail was so easy, she responded right away and always had answers to any questions that I had. She was lovely to chat with, offered to help with anything she could, had quick answers to all of our questions, and was extremely responsive. From start to finish, April was incredibly responsive, proactive, and attentive to our needs and questions, and the entire process of working with her and her team was easy and clear. Her team is willing to work with you on any music you want at your wedding. They even indulged some of my pop-culture requests, and made custom covers of songs not on their list! They arrived early on wedding day, practiced for over an hour prior to the ceremony to ensure quality sound, and continued throughout the cocktail hour without any missteps. We are so lucky to have had Dean's Duets on our wedding day! We booked a violin, cello, harp trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The communication leading up to the wedding was absolutely amazing. We had to push our wedding a couple times due to COVID and the team was beyond patient and accommodating. The music played during both the ceremony and cocktail hour was beautiful and made those moments that much more special! We requested that they learn two of our special songs, which they happy obliged and played beautifully. Amazing wedding musicians
We hired Dean’s Duets to play at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner portion of our reception at the Biltmore Estate Walled Garden and Conservatory. We had a string quartet (violin, violin, cello and harp) for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a keyboardist play during the dinner portion of the reception. The planning process went very smoothly and April answered all of our questions. I appreciated their frequent updates asking if we needed any help with anything along the way months in advance. The musicians played beautifully and took our wedding to the next level of elegance. We highly recommend them!

Dean's Duets were absolutely amazing to work with! They have a wonderful selection of different types of music and instruments. We selected a 3-piece string trio; violin, violin, cello. The musicians were amazing and April (manager) was extremely helpful. She provided guidance on which songs would sound best with the instruments we selected as well as helped me organize the flow in songs being that I am not musically talented her guidance was much appreciated. They were so pleasant and accommodating. They offered a ton of pieces for me to choose from, but I only had two recommendations. So, I told them the style of music I wanted, and they did wonderfully. The ceremony was delayed, and they kept playing. It was so beautiful. Very professional, they stayed out of sight, but in set up to where they would best be heard and not seen. Loved their music.

I really wanted live music for my wedding ceremony wasn't sure about the added cost. Dean's Duets was worth every penny. The music was absolutely beautiful. April was so easy to work with. She quickly offered suggestions when I got overwhelmed with choices. We used a violin and cello duo. The playlist was extensive and we chose both classic and contemporary pieces. Incredibly talented musicians
Deans' Duets created the most beautiful music for our ceremony. We booked a cello and violin duo who were absolutely amazing. April was incredibly helpful and communicative and walked us through the whole process, helping us to pick all of the songs we would need. We had a mix of contemporary music and songs from movies. My husband and the wedding party walked down the aisle to In My Life by the Beatles and my dad and I walked down to Concerning Hobbits from Lord of the Rings. We ended the ceremony with the Throne Room song from Star Wars, which Deans' Duets learned at our request. It was everything we hoped for and more. We are so grateful for April and her talented team - thank you for being such an incredible part of our day!

Deans' Duets were fantastic! It was a challenge to have my daughter's wedding in a town that was now our own. I was especially uncertain how we would have the music for the ceremony. We knew that for our special day we wanted more than just the usual wedding songs played at our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had the most amazing experience with Deans’ Duets and so happy we hired them! April was very responsive and organized and extremely accommodating! Not to mention, she's just a wonderful person and a fantastic musician. We decided on a violin & guitar duo during the ceremony and cocktail hour and just a piano player for 2 hours during dinner. They were so talented and performed every song on our setlist. It was so fun during dinner, April could tell we loved Disney songs so she started incorporating more Disney songs into her setlist and that was a HUGE hit. Everyone started singing along!

The team at Deans Duets was an amazing addition to our wedding. We hired the guitar/violin duet for our outdoor ceremony music and loved the ambience that the music added to our ceremony. The musicians were extremely professional and accommodating in addition to being extremely talented. Our ceremony started about 25 minutes late due to a problem with the bus transporting the guests and the musicians remained playing through the wait for our guests that were already present at the venue. There was a wide variety for the music selection allowing us to personalize the music list to our preference and allow us to make our wedding unique. Amazing Job
Let me start by saying Dean's Duets was amazing. We hired Dean's Duets to provide a quintet at our wedding to play the processional, recessional and to play during cocktail hour. For our processional, we wanted the Maldau, which Dean's was not familiar with, but very enthusiastic to learn. Over the course of the year, Deans learned and arranged the piece to fit our processional needs - and wow - phenomenal. I think they could have given the London Symphony Orchestra a run for their money.
The music was a very important feature at our wedding, and Deans slayed it, adding an elegant vibe that was perfectly executed. I highly recommend Dean's Duets, in fact, if they are not available, you should change your date so you can retain them, they were that good.

I am writing this review as the father of the bride. My wife had very specific requirements for changing music during the processional for individuals as well as the music for the wedding ceremony. Dean's Duets were fantastic and knocked it out of the park. Robin on violin and Eryn on harp and guitar made an incredible soundtrack for our daughter's wedding. Very professional and easy to work with as well. I am a part time musician myself and was so very impressed! Highly recommended!!

We requested a solo violinist for the hour and Donna filled that role perfectly. April was great to communicate with leading up to the day - very responsive, clear, and helpful.

Hire these ladies right now! Seriously, book them before they sell out. April and her crew of talented musicians are extraordinary. April is responsive, organized and a top notch talented and professional musician. Their contract is easy to read and their prices are extremely reasonable. We hired Deans' Duets string quartet for the ceremony, April played the grand piano for our cocktail hour and we had 2 violinists for the reception for 2 hours. They played a selection of traditional church music and classical pieces for us. During cocktail hour April played a mixture of classic piano tunes and classical music. The music at the reception was lovely and elegant - all classical pieces made for the violin. I highly recommend April and Deans' Duets!

Deans' Duets & Quartets is the only way to go!!! We decided late in the planning process that we would love a string quartet to play for our wedding ceremony! After finding Deans' Duets & Quartets and speaking with April there was no question that we would hire them! Their extensive knowledge, responsiveness and genuine excitement made it an easy choice! They not only provided breath taking music for our ceremony, but they did it in a professional and reliable way!

Deans' Duets is fantastic! We booked them to play the violin and cello during our wedding ceremony and they did such a beautiful job! They were the most responsive vendor that we contacted and provided phenomenal customer service. They also had a huge selection of both traditional and contemporary songs to choose from. Donna and April made sure that our song selection was cohesive and complemented the instruments we'd requested and they even learned an entirely new song for our processional. When I was struck with indecision about which song I would walk down the aisle to, Donna called me and played the songs for me over the phone and her suggested solutions were absolutely perfect. They are so nice and so talented! Even our wedding planner was impressed. I cannot recommend Deans' enough, they're wonderful!

Deans Duets played at my March 25th wedding and I couldn't have been happier. April perfectly recommended piano and violin to accompany my song choices and was a helpful guide throughout the entire process. The music transformed my ceremony into an experience and I'll never forget walking down the aisle to the beautiful sound of "Can't Help Falling in Love." A strong trio was a MUST for our wedding day. April and team were wonderful to work with. Our wedding happened the same weekend as a freak snow storm in Charlotte. They were punctual and very professional. The sound was absolutely beautiful! I would use them again.

Beautiful music and wonderful customer service! My wife Chelsea and I employed Dean’s Duets for our wedding just over a month ago and we’re so glad we did! Right from the start, April was incredibly helpful, responsive, and enthusiastic. With her assistance, we selected a wonderful playlist for a string trio to play through during our cocktail hour and reception. She was especially understanding when we decided to make a few tweaks to the list along the way and even took the time to speak with us a few days before the wedding to go over all of the fine details!
On the day of the wedding itself, the trio arrived plenty early to our venue, which was in the mountains of North Carolina. The band (Meg, Nick, and Paul) was extremely friendly and gracious. They had even taken the time to learn a new song specifically for the ceremony! The music provided by Dean’s Duets truly helped to set the tone for the day and Chelsea and I couldn’t be more appreciative of how easy they were to work with. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding such a fantastically joyous occasion!

I highly recommend deans duets to everyone. April is so sweet and easy to work with. I booked her and Valerie for a violin/harp duet and they sounded beyond amazing. The music was just beautiful. I only chose the songs for my family, bridal party, and myself to walk down to. For everything else I asked April to choose the songs and I am so glad I did because it took a lot of pressure off me and they did a beautiful job. They know what they are doing and are amazing. They truly helped make my day special and wonderful!!! I couldn't have asked for anything better! :)

Dean's Duets came highly recommended by my wedding coordinator. I was looking for a violinist during the ceremony as well as a pianist for the cocktail hour. To my surprise and delight April of Dean's Duets could do both and her performance was flawless. I was a very particular bride so I was very picky about the music selections. April spent time talking to me several times leading up to the big day and played exactly what we had discussed to a tee. The whole experience of working with Dean's Duets exceeded all expectations. April is a very gifted musician. Several of our guests are still commenting about the beautiful music at our wedding. April was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Dean's Duets to any bride out there!

I planned our intimate family wedding within two weeks and just 2 days after Christmas so I assumed finding a musician to work with would be difficult. Not so! April was absolutely wonderful, so responsive, attentive and flexible. I simply picked a few specific selections and left the rest up to her. She did a fabulous job and our entire family was mesmerized by her playing. Thank you April for providing the perfect touch to our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about April! We wanted a classic ceremony with the violin and cello, and April was able to work out the perfect combo for us. She was so attentive to what we wanted, and she worked hard to find the right cellist for us. We had so much fun planning our ceremony with her, and she had the best suggestions to stick with our theme. She was incredibly responsive and so knowledgeable, so we didn't stress about the music at all. She was a terrific find, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Our friends and family loved our music, and we got so many compliments on our ceremony.
If you are thinking of booking April, you will not regret it. She is so talented, and I have full faith she will make your wedding as special as she did ours.

We found April at a friend's wedding and I am so glad we got her card before we left. She was super flexible and even arranged and learned a song that I walked down the aisle to. She was game for all of our crazy suggestions and her and Steve delivered. The music was spot on and really completed our day!

You guys were a pleasure to work with. You were quick to reply on all of our questions and made ‘music planning’ a breeze. Our Fairytale Wedding at the Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis, NC was absolutely PERFECT with the incredible gifted talents by Dean's Duets! They provided violin solo, violin duet, string trio with two violins & a cello, piano accompaniment with both violin & cello....every song was absolutely beautiful!! Their genre repertoire is expansive however April tailored the playlist to our specific wishes...Dean's Duets are a professional group, well versed as talented musicians and an absolute delight & joy to meet. The additional gift to us was how they desired to serve God by sharing the richness of their incredible talent, as we enfolded them as part of our family and the entire wedding. We have been blessed to add them to our circle of friends...far more than scheduled musicians at a wedding function....they are family! I promise you will be both pleased and blessed to have them join you!!

April was great to work with, and communicated with us in a timely and professional manner. She helped give suggestions for processional songs during the ceremony, and was able to play any of the requests we had. On the day of the wedding, Jenna and Donna showed up on time and were very flexible to the last minute ceremony location change due to the weather. They played beautifully, and we received lots of compliments from our guests. We were so pleased with Deans' Duets & Quartets!

I would highly recommend Deans' Duets! I enjoyed working with April and she was extremely willing to learn different music and play what I asked for. April was so wonderful to plan and work with during the months leading up to my wedding! I was a bit indecisive about the number of violinists I wanted (I ended up having two play during my ceremony) and April put up with my many questions and was extremely patient with me! During the music planning process, my mother and I were able to hear samples of April's beautiful playing and she had FANTASTIC suggestions for pieces to play for each part of the ceremony. Our ceremony was in Pinehurst, NC and April and 2nd violinist showed up with plenty of time and were flawless in their execution during the ceremony! I highly recommend Dean's Duets for your next event!

We contracted one musician for our ceremony and cocktail hour, April, who did such a wonderful job!
We had unseasonably cold weather, but she was so very flexible (as cocktail hour was moved under the tent).
I unfortunately did not get to hear too much, or even speak to April the day of the wedding - but working with her up until the wedding was super easy and enjoyable!
