David was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond to any emails and the day of he took great care of me and my husband. We were lucky enough to have a little bit of snow on our wedding day and David took advantage of that and brought us outside and took some amazing pictures against a the outside of the building. They were GORGEOUS and everyone I have shown them to just comments on how beautiful of a picture if is. There were certain pictures that I thought of the night of the wedding, after the wedding was done, like "Oh I wonder if he got that..." or "that would be nice to have" and when I got the preview he had EVERY SINGLE PICTURE that I had thought of afterwards. He sent me the pictures very quickly after the wedding and they were all gorgeous. I am not a fan of having my picture taken, but David made me feel beautiful the whole day and I looked lovely in all the pictures!! It was funny, I went to my doctor and she asked to see a picture and when she saw his watermark she said, "Oh you used David! Isnt he the best?!" I HIGHLY recommend David to everyone, if you havent booked your photographer yet, do not hesitate to hire David!

David was recommended to us by family members who had used him in the past. From the moment we sat with him we knew was the right choice. He was flexible enough to meet us in Boston for our engagement pictures and had a vision to capture the perfect pictures.

David Bibault was a pleasure to work with. From day one when we met with him he always said: "it is going to be like I am not even there" and boy does he mean it. From engagement photos to the actual wedding he is speedy, creative, and it really is like he is not even there. The pictures he creates are beautiful and flawless. One of the things I lke is that he tells you how to stand, where to stand, and where to look so you don't look like you are posing. His response time for meeting and having pictures ready is quick and efficient. Overall I am extremely satisfied with all of his work.

From the beginning we loved working with David...our engagement photos at Gillette Stadium came out fantastic as did the photos of myself in my gown with my dog before the wedding. We were also thankful to David for sending Bethany and Scott to take his place for his wedding. As much as we missed David they were great! We can't wait to see the rest of our photos!

Working with Dave was awesome! He was fun and then he did the most creative pictures we have seen! we saw his work at previous bridal shows and loved the different and unique style he did, we cant wait to see our pictures from our wedding!!! he did give us a sneak peak through his camera while we were taking pictures, I would definitely recommend Dave and his staff to anyone looking to have a great photographer at their wedding!

Working with Dave took one less worry out of the day- having seen his previous shoots we knew our wedding photos would be great. However when we saw our pictures, especially our album we were blown away! His turn around time is great, even getting many 'sneak peaks' before leaving for our honeymoon the following day & and the quality of every picture is impressive. Being from out of state he guided us as to where we should do our 1st look and bridal party pics, all of which are perfect! We & our family still look at our pictures every day and can't put into words just have fabulous they are! If you are looking for a laid back, easy to work with, friendly, great quality photographer you have found your guy!

I first met David while helping my sister plan her wedding. I was at a local vendor show and one of his amazingly beautiful pictures caught my attention so I started up a conversation. He was so pleasant, enthusiastic, and easy going that I walked away happy just to have met him. A few months later, I got engaged and there was no question that I wanted DB Photography taking pictures of the special moments to come.

Our engagement and wedding pictures are our precious reflection on some of the most special moments in our lives and they are simply gorgeous. His work is not only impeccable but he and his team are professional, understanding, patient, and amazingly accommodating. David and his team felt like part of the family on our wedding day and we were so grateful to have them there to capture our most cherished moments.

David was professional and made sure we got every shot we wanted. Him and his assistant Jerry were amazing at keeping us on time and on track. We really appreciated them making sure they were on top of the timeline (because everything went by so fast!) He almost immediately put teasers on facebook I was able to see! He was extremely responsive via email (I was a long distance bride so communication was important to me!) I cant wait to see the pictures and am very fortunate we chose him and his team as our photographers!

I knew I wanted DB Photography before I was even engaged. A co-worker had shown me her photos and I loved them. I then met David Bibeault at a Wedding show and got to see more of his work. I have friends who paid double what I paid and we like our photos just as much or better. David is all business and very punctual. He will keep you on your timeline for your special day for sure. David will get dirty, wet, kneel down, you name it to make sure he gets the perfect shot. We are so pleased with our engagement photos and wedding photos. We got plenty to choose from in a very timely manner. David is well known with all the best vendors around our area and knows all the great photo areas. His website is easy to use and I am so pleased with our photo package we purchased from him. I have many people asking me who my wedding photographer was and everyone says how beautiful our photos are. Thank you for beautiful memories that will last a lifetime Dave!

Dave was great to work with! He was very easy going & his prices were very affordable. He listended to all of our ideas & took amazing photos. We have recieved so many compliments!! He gets your photos back to you quickly too which is a bonus, considering we couldn't wait to see the pictures. I would certainly recommend him to every bride looking to have an amazing & affordable photographer! :o)

DB Photography is absolutely amazing! I agree with previous reviewers that if I could rate them off the charts I absolutely would!

We worked directly with Dave and could not have been happier. From the moment we met with him initially to all of the post wedding followup he was attentive, helpful, and made us feel as though we were part of his family.

Along with our wedding photos being done by him we also had engagement photos taken by him. He traveled a ways to take our pictures. He helped us to immediately feel at ease and the shoot flew by! We received the first teasers of our session within days and all of our photos within just a few weeks. The photographers were beyond our highest expectations!

For the wedding Dave kept in touch with us through the whole planning process. He made sure we were not only all set with things related to photography but also any other things wedding related, making sure we were relaxed and ready to go.

The morning of the wedding Dave arrived and everything could not have gone smoother. We were so at ease with him and he helped to keep us on time. Everyone in our bridal party got along just as well with him as we did and it was obvious he enjoyed being with us for the day.

Despite the crazy weather we had Dave was able to take us where we wanted to have pictures done and get unbelievable shots! We had a good amount of time in between our ceremony and reception and when we werent doing our formals Dave took the opportunity to take beautiful shots around the hotel we didnt even know about! All night Dave was taking pictures and making himself available to us.

We received teasers again within just days of the wedding and they were even better then our engagement pictures, which we didnt think was possible! When we got all of our pictures back there were more than we imagined and each one was truly better than the next. We have received unbelievable compliments and know that they are picture we will truly cherish forever.

We cant say enough great things about Dave and DB Photography, we have recommended him to everyone we know that is getting married and know that anyone who uses them will be nothing but 110% pleased.

Dave was amazing to work with. We used him for our engagement shoot, wedding shower and wedding photography. His packages were the best value we found while searching for photographers. When choosing, it was important to us to have the album included and rights to the photo. He had a package that included these items, plus many extras. \r\n\r\nHe kept everything on time on the wedding day. We didn\'t have a planner and he kept everything running smooth. He worked so well with our other vendors. He was very easy to work with and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. We also appreciated his communication during and after the wedding. He is very responsive. \r\n\r\nWe loved pretty much all of our vendors, but Dave was a super star. I usually don\'t like giving super high recommendations, but feel completely comfortable saying how amazing he is. The photos were beyond beautiful and we especially love our album.

Wow! I couldn't be any happier with the photographer, his crew, and of course our wedding pictures! Just as he promised, for most of the day we forgot they were even there. They took great shots and candids along with the traditional photos that you'd like to have from your wedding day. I absolutely love our album and how we have all our photos on DVD as well. Very happy!

If I could rate DB Photography off the charts, I would! Both Dave and his assistant, Nick, were fabulous to work with at our engagement session and on our wedding day!

While planning my wedding and flipping through local bridal magazines, I noticed that the majority of the photo's I liked were credited by Dave. As more friends and acquaintances heard of my engagement, I was continuously referred to DB Photography. After meeting with David Bibeault once, my husband and I knew instantly that we were going to book him for our wedding and we were very happy that we did!

Dave and Nick ensured that we got every photo we wanted! They climbed over slushy snow banks and stopped downtown traffic to make sure that we captured the most perfect shots for our winter wedding. They obviously love their job and take pride in their product.

It was not surprising that everyone who has viewed our wedding portfolio gasped over the 1100+ photos. There weren't just a few amazing photos like most of my friends have from their weddings; the entire portfolio was amazing!

If you are looking for a talented photographer who is committed to meeting your requests, offers a great value, and quick turn around on editing your photos; then you won’t be the slightest bit disappointed when you book Dave from DB Photography!

I really enjoyed working with DB Photography. We are SO happy with the photos- which were so great. We felt like we got every penny of what we paid. We got the photo booth with a photographer, and 2 photographers and all the pix to boot. David was really quick with responses and didn't leave me hanging on details. It was great!

I couldn't have asked for better photographers than Dave and his team! From the moment my husband and I met with him and heard the Jimmy Buffet he had playing softly in the background, we were hooked. After hearing about his experience level and looking through several gorgeous albums, we booked with him on the spot. We loved that he was so laid back but passionate about his job at the same time. He also offered a great range of packages for different budgets.

Dave was always very quick to respond to even the silliest little questions I had along the way, which was very much appreciated. We had an engagement shoot in Boston and walked all over the city on a very hot day. My husband and I took a taxi back to the train station and asked Dave to hop in; when we arrived at the station, he insisted on paying the fare. (This story may not be important to my review, but I think it really shows his character.) Our disk of images was available to pick up not even a week after the engagement shoot.

When the wedding day came, Dave and his two assistants were exactly as we expected. They were professional and courteous, and we hardly noticed them at all. They got all of the shots we asked for; we have a great mix of the traditional shots our parents wanted and the more modern, photojournalistic shots my husband and I asked for. He emailed us some teaser pictures while we were still away on our honeymoon, and we had our disk with the rest about a month later. Such a fast turnaround!!

We absolutely love our wedding photos and cannot rave enough about DB Photography!

I cannot say enough about Dave and his team! I'll do my best though!!!

When I first was told about Dave I took a look at his prices and assumed since they were so low, he was no good and moved on. I finally decided to meet with him after two of my friends had hired him for their weddings and boy am I glad I did so. From the second I met him at his house and saw how laid back he was and got a chance to chat with him and look at his albums I was sold. He approaches you with a no pressure approach, he tells you from the beginning that if you want to hire him to contact him as he doesn't want to push anyone. Within a week he was booked. His albums show how amazing his work is, and one of my favorite parts is that all of his packages that include albums include flush mount albums which by my opinion are the nicest, and most expensive. His attitude is amazing, he makes the sessions fun and they don't feel pushed. He allows you to be yourself while setting up beautiful pictures. As far as his pricing, I thought there was a typo for sure when I saw the pricing of the package I got, and he even threw in some extras. I had seen a lot less for at least double the amount with other photographers. Photography was the most important thing to me and my now husband when it came to the wedding and we made the right decision and were way under budget for it! Dave is now backed by a fabulous team of which i had the pleasure of working with, the DB team set up a photo lounge at the wedding which was a HUGE hit, and in fact our DJ had complained that they were having a hard time competing with the photo lounge, this was headed by Jamie Harrington who did a great job! Dave also brought an apprentice with him who was fabulous at catching lots of candid shots.

Also, I know the hardest part of the photo's is waiting to see them after the wedding, Dave made sure I had "teasers" the day after the wedding- amazing!

Again, there is so much to be said about Dave and his staff that I could go on for days but you will NOT regret your decision if you decide to book him!

We loved our photographer(s)! Fun, flexible, and down to earth...just what we were looking for. THe quality of the pictures were fabulous, and we get the entire rights to all of our pictures. I would recommend him to anyone.

Photography was very important to us. We ended up booking David 18 months before our wedding date. We were blown away when we saw the photos he has taken. He has a very laidback, relaxing personality. His packages were extremely reasonable considering how talented he is. His communication was awesome throughout the whole process. His equipment is all very up to date and his staff just works so well together.

My husband and I loved working with Dave and his crew at DB Photography! They were very flex-able, down to earth and priced amazing for all they give you!! We had a great engagement shot, a wonderful experience at our wedding receiving over 1,000 amazing shots and have since developed a friendship. I also have used DB Portraits with family shots! What a wonderful group of photographers!

David and his team did an amazing job for our wedding. We were debating going with a family friend photographer but decided to let him enjoy the party and are we glad we did! David was a breath of fresh air. He worked with us on our wedding exactly how we asked. He took 'behind the scenes' photos and captured our event perfectly. I would certainly work with him again for any occassion.

If I could give Dave 10 stars, I would. He was amazing, from start to finish. His laid back attitude and vibe was a great mix with my husband and Dave always understood my high strung personality and handled it with care. He has by far been the best investment we made and we're having a hard time deciding which pictures are our favorites. He brought along two assistant photographers and all three of them were snapping from the moment I saw them. I was thrilled to see how many of the sentimental and important details Dave and his team caught without a mention of them. I know that I could not have chosen anyone else and gotten a better fit for us. His pictures have been vintage, classic, elegant, funky, vibrant and fresh all rolled into one. He understood us, and he showed it all on film.

We chose Dave because he offered a "good deal" on wedding photography as well as his pictures were really nice.

I cannot emphasize how wonderful he was the day of the wedding. He arrived early to my parents house, we were in the middle of a mini disaster (Bridesmaid dress tore at the zipper; completely split down the dress) He had a calming effect on me once he arrived. I was so comfortable with him. He got all the traditional pictures as well as some really nice candid pictures of the girls getting ready. He did a really good job with a small space.

He took all the pictures I asked him to take as well as some other really creative ones. We have 800 proofs to look through and try to pick only 100 pictures for our album. All of the pictures are absolutely beautiful. At the reception I didn't even realize they (He had his second shooter Nick and a photographer in training Ethan who were both awesome as well) was still there.

He answered my emails and phone calls within hours of me hitting send or leaving a voicemail (which was not very often he always picked up the phone).

I highly recommend Dave as a photographer. His work proves that he loves what he does!!!

Dave has been such a blast to work with this past year. We did our engagement photos at Fenway Park and he took thousands of photos of us over a 2-hour period. He responds quickly to email and is very helpful in the planning process. The day of the wedding he brought two assistants with him; Ethan and Nick. They were both extremely fun and professional and were a blast to be around. Dave was flexible and took my crazy ideas and ran with them. He made sure I had water and stood in the shade as much as possible. He really took care of us! I am in love with the teaser photos he has sent us and I have all the faith in the world that our album is going to be amazing. Highly Recommend.

Honestly, if I could give Dave more than 5-stars, I would! This guy loves his work and it shows through the pictures he takes! Our wedding pictures were gorgeous! Everyone commented on how these were the MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding pictures they have ever seen! I am not exageratting!

Also, Dave got the pictures edited and online for us to view in less then 3 weeks! Absolutely amazing during a busy wedding season!

All in all, we love Dave and would recommend him to anyone who wants a very professional/ responsive wedding photographer who takes gorgeous pictures at an amazing value!

David went above and beyond for my south asian wedding, and all the events that prceeded it. During the planning process and after the wedding he responded to every email immediately. He was able to read my wants (which were very specific) and most importantly took AMAZING photographs! he provided service beyond what he promised at a reasonable price. Would recomend to all brides.

Amazing is all I can say!!!! From the engagement pictures to the wedding, everything was absolutely perfect! David was so personable and open-minded to all of our ideas (even our "Bonnie & Clyde" engagement photo theme!) The pictures were beautiful and the prices were great, I couldn't have been more pleased. On our wedding day...half of the time we didn't even know David was there! He was a fantastic photographer and I HIGHLY recommend checking out his work!!

We loved working with David and Nick. They were able to work with our large bridal party and large families to get through all the formal photos quickly and efficiently so we could join the party! Our photos were edited and given to us in a timely fashion and we were thrilled with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future.

We used David for our wedding photography this fall. He is an incredibly talented and creative photographer. His packages are very reasonable and most come with the option of a 2nd assistant photographer, which was Nick for us, and I loved that our shots could be more versatile with that option. Starting with our engagement pictures, we have gotten so many compliments on everything Dave has done. In fact, he got in touch with me today to say that our proofs will be ready tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT! I highly highly recommend David to anyone...he does weddings specifically and has been doing so for over 25 years! His photos are so creative and beautiful...

Dave (and his assistant Nick) are great. So responsive and easy to work with, and a great range of packeage prices. "Photo-journalistic style", which I liked (I dont like the stuffy, arranged shots, but we took some of those as well for the parents, and they turned out great). He knows Newport well, and had good suggestions for where to take pictures. I would definitely recommend him.

Dave & Nick were incredible - they take a lot of candids which is perfect, if you ask me. We did not get a video but didn't need one b/c they captured everything.

Curtiss was wonderful. I get so many compliements on our photos & that they are the best anyone has ever seen. The photography was very important to me & I was extremely happy with the quality & number of photos we had to choose from (over 800!). I was able to customize my album & David even agreed to typed in our vows on the ceremony & ring pages!

We couldn't be happier with DB photography. Dave was quick to respond during the planning process. The day of the wedding Dave was on time, and really kept the day moving on schedule. He has a great personality and was everywhere the day of the wedding, but not in people's faces. We got over 500 proofs (which we own the rights to). The pictures are fabulous!!! We would highly recommend DB photography.

We used DB photography for our wedding on April 27, 2013. We had David himself as our photographer and he was absolutely amazing! the pictures and beautiful and unique. He made the picture taking process fun and easy. prices are very reasonable and I would recommend him to any one who was getting married!

We love you Dave and Jamie! DB Photography was great to work with every step of the way. They are professional, fun to be around, and most importantly take amazing photos! We received all our pictures fully edited within weeks and our only problem is picking what ones to put in an album. We also loved that Dave and Jamie were flexible and unobtrusive. They captured every important moment and all the details without being in our face!

The photos that DB photography took were unbelievable! They had such great ideas and were able to capture all the special moments of our day. The pictures are priceless! The pictures came back to us in 3 weeks and we were able to see them online and have our family and friends see them as well. There are so many great pictures, we dont know how to choose. Thank you!

Normally I would never complain about a service that was provided to me, but it was my wedding and people should know before booking. David’s prices were by far the best we were quoted, which is why we ultimately chose him, but for a little more I wish we had picked abotner photographer. I specifically asked him to go around to tables and take pictures of the couples, to act as my guestbook. When I first introduced the idea he was immediately peeved and made it clear he was t happy about it. But I pressed the issue because I’ve been to more then two dozen weddings in the last several years and it’s something that was done at several of them and I thought was a very nice touch. Well not only was he peeved, he deliberately ignored my request, and just didn’t do it! So when I got the pictures I was more then annoyed! I would never, ever recommend him. I’d rather pay more money and actually get what I want.

Having been in many wedding parties and passion for photography, my goal was to find the BEST photographer within my budget. That being said, I was referred to Dave and upon meeting with him face to face with one of my Bridesmaids’, I enjoyed was excited to hire him.
That ended quickly when it came time for our engagement shoot, which I have to add he added this in as an "extra" since I referred two (2) Brides to him as well (which was a nice bonus). The disappointing part was that after having viewed many of his online albums I saw that the same couple had multiple outfits and some even had two shoot locations. When I asked about outfit changes and location, I was told there would be no time. Now I am not as picky as it may seem. I didn't argue and assumed the chosen location would be perfect. The shoot lasted 15 minutes and we didn't even cover most of the grounds. I also feel we did not have a connection with him and it didn’t leave a good lasting impression. Even though I was bit disappointed the end result was satisfactory.
I did get the traditional shots with our parents and us; however my album is lacking creativity and photos of our extended family, friends and bridal party. All of our bridal party shots include the Flower Girls and Ring Bearer which I EXPECTED some without them. I also was given an attitude the day of the wedding for not having my designated person to direct those not in the wedding party to join us with taking photos. Since my ceremony and reception were not in the same location, this did not work as planned and I was not blaming the photographer for this but I was NOT impressed with his attitude. He also seemed very impatient and my photos seemed RUSHED. In the end, I have DECENT photos but LACKING creativity and many photos with loved ones.
All in all, you get what you pay for. If photography is important to you, try to stay within your budget and make sure you, the groom and photographer CLICK!

I was married several years ago and considered using DB as my photographer. I vented on the Knot forum about what I considered an unprofessional response from him. He immediately sent me a threatening e-mail that I needed to remove my review or he would sue me for defamation of character (despite everything I wrote being true). I would be wary of this photographer.

We used David for our wedding in 2009. He was great during the entire process, until after we were married. His contract promises a turnaround time and a week after our expected date, we asked David for our photos and it was if he couldn't be bothered. It was "busy" season. I understand it's busy season, but you should have extend the expected date in your contract. He was very unprofessional when we tried to work with him on the parents albums. The finished products were amazing, but I need professionalism when I hire someone. I've had several people ask me who photographed my wedding because of the wonderful quality of the pictures, but I have not recommended him.

I have one memory from our wedding day that sums up this experience. While posing for a formal photo with my husband "Put your hands on your wife's very large waist". Kidding or not NO bride ever wants to hear this on her wedding day. Calling me the wrong name all day didn't help either. The photo's were mediocre with a few that were great, I'd say maybe 40 out of the 1500 that were taken are of high quality. We are glad our experience with this photographer is over.
